I don't know if anyone else feels this way but I'm gonna say it for the ones that do. Cause we talk about how we basically can see the stories in our minds like motion pictures when we read a book or can even feel the characters pain and emotions but writing is a whole new level.

Cause I'll be writing and then blink back into existence and realize....wait...what do you mean I'm not two gay men making out under the moonlight??

Then I'll have to take a couple of seconds to collect myself cause I just imagined and wrote in such detail about living a life with another man and I need to mourn over the loss of that.

And then you gotta just sit there like this for a couple of minutes

I have been doing so much reading on ao3 lately and have come to realization conner has to be one of my favorite superman characters of all time.

Not only is there so much to break down from his character but he's so wildly different that I love it.

It's also kinda sad but also refreshing to see superman so outta his depth about the fact he has a half son with lex luthor of all people.

It's honestly really sad to see the fact he doesn't actually know how to handle conner though. Like Kal just happens to be disturbed by him and it causes a rift between them that can't be mended. Of course it's not Conners faults but the fact he has no idea what to do to make superman like him kills him on the inside but he tries to still do right and make him proud.

It's honestly so sweet and yet so sad at the same time. Which is why I love that he has the young justice league and his boyfriend to always support him. It really seems like we glazed over their relationship and don't do any real development which is a blessing as it is a curse.

Honestly I love seeing where superman kinda just accepts him and acts like a divorced parent sharing custody but I just absolutely with all my heart LOVE when we get to see more break down fics of their relationship and the seems of what makes Conner and Clark's bond.

I'm only updating this because so I could say in other words this:

Breaking down the song too sweet by hozier and literally shoving any dc ship in it. Well mainly any bat x super ship cause honestly I love the idea that the song is from the bats perspective talking about their respective super.

Also I feel the need to make this clear, I do ship superbat, timkon, and Damijon but not all in the same universe. Like no offense to anyone who has written anything containing all three of these ships but I think it's just weird cause it's like man if superbat is canon and then you put damijon it's like Damian and Jonathan are brothers so it just makes me feel weird about the ship at that point. But if they are all in separate fics then I feel like it's fine and I love it.

But anyway! I was writing my newest chapter and on my superbat fanfiction called " does superman cry" (FYI I regret not making the title too sweet or ice tea and tears or something silly like that)

Cause I'm so OBSESSED with Clark having a deep appreciation for ice tea and loving it cause Martha would make it during the summer months and would make it warm during the winter so Kal just always had that bitter sweet tea after a long day of working on the farm.

So Bruce learns about it and he absolutely hates tea. He takes his whiskey neat and coffee in bed at 3 and this man just can't stand the bitter taste. Even with sugar in it he hates it. But after he learns Martha makes it he has Alfred the tea steeping master he is make his own so every time Clark comes over he baits him into drinking a glass.

Especially if he wants Clark to stay longer. He secretly just brings him a glass and Kal the nice boy that he is can never refuse a glass of home made sweet tea.

Eventually they fall into this pattern and even start dating and Bruce finds that he doesn't mind sweet tea as long as it's on Clark's lips when he kisses him. Thats the sweetest tea of all.

Also I'm imagining Clark not actually being a coffee fan and liking tea cause it tastes more like home and the earthy flavor it provides, but he will bring Bruce a steaming cup of coffee just like how he likes it as compensation. Kinda like a trade of sorts ♥️🖤💙💛

So I need to know what animal they think is the batfamilies special interest.

Like we all know they are on the spectrum like look at Bruce. He's a 30 year old man that dresses as a bat and don't get me wrong there are several reasons he dresses as one but it always has something to do with the animal itself and I always think that's funny how it's even used as a joke in several comics, and animated movies/ shows.

So Bruce knows everything about bat's, shape color, species, what food they eat and how they live and even the different culture views on bat's. He could talk all day about it if asked and he always does it with the utmost care. Like he was giving a speech at a gala or speaking to the league.

I think we all know Dicks is obviously Robin's. Cause why else would he choose to be a brightly colored vigilante that's after a bird from the north? I feel like after moving in with Bruce he took a quiz on what bird he would be cause he was studying birds in school and got a Robin and took that to heart as a passion and not only learned everything about a Robin's but that had just become his identity for awhile and he loved it. Bruce when he heard it at first had thought it wouldn't work but after making him his own costume and even watching several videos on the birds he thought it fit his son nicely.

Jason didn't break away from the Robin role and embraces it actually. But he was always way more shy when it came to discussing his favorite. I think he would have a fascination with bugs and snakes and would absolutely be the kid with a spider or a beardy. He once convinced Bruce to get him a baby beardy and then it became an obsession. He had a sweatshirt that even had a cartoonish looking beardy printed on it and he proudly talks about it to any one who asked. Bruce would silently close his eyes and soak in all the information about them he could.

I totally think Tim loves frogs and even sea creatures. He has a tank with shrimp in it and his boyfriend makes fun of him and calls him a shrimp farmer but he also has a tank that has glass frogs in it. It's a huge tank that takes up over half his room and he loves just watching them sleep and even makes cute little tiktoks with them. He always is getting cute things for the habitat and going shopping. He also takes Damian on these trips. Because they both enjoy walking around and even stopping to pet or talk to the people who bring in their dogs. Bruce also enjoys walking into Tim's room and seeing the frogs and shrimp and even says hello to them before leaving again.

Damian is no stranger to having a soft spot for animals but I know he loves cats and dogs. He is definitely a cat person. Alfred the cat is his prized possession and he will proudly take pictures and then draw them. He loves using his animals as drawing references and has multiple books filled to the brim of just them. Sometimes if they are really good he goes to Bruce and asks them to be laminated so he can hang them up in his room because they deserve to be celebrated and respected. He also tells Bruce odd facts about his animals. How Alfred (the cat) specifically likes to sleep on his left side and enjoys being scratched behind his ears the most.

Bruce loves his weird sons because he is weird and for Christmas he always gets them something related to their animals because it's like a bonding experience for them. Some days they don't even talk about anything but their animals but I can imagine them all settling on a couch and out of pure bordem putting on documentaries and spending time just listening and learning. Of course this could also lead into some heated debates about who's animals is the best.

Jason: no you don't understand

Damian: *scoffs* actually Todd you never understood anything

Dick: ok well I set the whole thing for Robin soooo

Tim: oh please you were eight!!

Bruce: I think we are forgetting how bats-

Kids: *groan because they have been hearing about bat's for over half their lives and are tired*

Alfred just walks in and smiles as he sets a pitcher down.

Alfred: actually you are forgetting how important bee's are to the environment. Which is why I plant only the best pollinator friendly flowers

Cue to everyone rioting cause after all this time Alfred has never talked about the fact he is in fact a bee guy. Ever since he started working for the Wayne's they let him have full control of the gardens and he always loved that in the bleak of Gotham he had his own personal eden with the flowers. Bruce's parents also appreciated him for this and would let Alfred do as he pleased when he would passionately talk to them about the bees. Even when they passed away Bruce had always assumed Alfred just did it because he didn't trust anyone else.

Which was part way true but he loves watching them bumble around and bump into each other as he works.

A jonjaydami headcanon.

The choas that would be released if and when Damians brothers find out he's dating another hero and the shovel talk that would soon be after. The thing is they already have Jonathan a shovel talk cause they had always kinda assumed they'd end up together but when they didn't they were not only shocked but super angry.

But of course they leave it alone cause they don't want to damage their little brothers friendships cause they know he doesn't have many but they notice slowly how much Jonathan and Jay start coming over.

Maybe once every other week becomes every week and then almost every day they are always catching Damian texting someone and smiling at his phone. They become confused.

Soon they start their own investigations cause is Damian dating someone? And on patrol maybe they find Damian sneaking a kiss to Jay and they absolutely loose it.

The theories just run wild!!

Jason: soooo our brothers a home wrecker?

Dick: noooo I raised him better then that!! :(

Tim: I just think it's like one of those stories with the love triangle?

Jason: I know you read wattpad and ao3 but leave it out of this

Tim: you know what wattpad is?

Cue to Damian overhearing this and deciding to be an absolute menace. I think from then on he ropes his boyfriends into pranking them by not knowing who's dating who until the batkids break down and finally sit Damian down to talk to him. Then the big reveal they were dating all along.

What surprises Damian is when money starts being passed around.

Damian: you made...bets?

Tim: well duh *rolls eyes*

Damian is about to kill him until Bruce walks in and raises an eyebrow.

Dick: they are all dating

Damian in shock: :0

Bruce just walks over to the table and grabs the biggest cash pile.

Bruce: by the way Jay is a very informative young man. I approve

All the batkids in shock- :0

Turns out he had already not only figured everything out but also went ahead and gave Jonathan and Jay a fatherly talk. Well as a fatherly one as batman can.

Another JonJayDami headcanon but when they all live together they have VERY strict rules on games they can play together. The rules are separated into two categories of either playable or banned.

Banned games include-

-uno

-connect four

- sorry

-trouble

-pie face (Jon got it as a funny game to play and let's just say it ended with it going out the window and Jay eating so much whipped cream he got physically sick. Jonathan had never been so scared for a plastic toy in his life)

Video games are a bit harder but there have been several that have been banned on multi-player games. Jon had to be the one to wrestle it from both Jay and Damian and take the games for the younger kids to play with and even at desperately at time donated the games to good will just so they wouldn't be in the apartment anymore.

Jay and Damian both have a fiery spirit when it comes to loosing and when they are put on games they become instant enemies. Jonathan has accepted the fact that he has gone to winning maybe 1 out of 20 rounds but now between the two of them 1 out 40. He doesn't mind however cause he likes to have fun with his boyfriends when they all have some time to themselves. But on the other hand watching Jay and Damian having a silent glaring battle over a game of chess is scary.

He knows they love each other but they have a competitive streak that both leaves run out and dry after playing an intense game. But that doesn't mean they don't have games they play together. They play occult of the lamb, started valley and animal crossing together as well as things like majong (I hope I spelled that right) especially after a rough week when all of them can just crash on their couch and pretend they aren't people together.

Though I like to imagine when Jay, Damian, and Jonathan go to a game night with the batfamily they have a silent truce so they can wipe the floor with Damian siblings. It always baffles Jonathan watching them team up cause it might be scarier when they are playing each other. He just counts himself lucky that he gets to share in on their points so he doesn't loose.

Headcanon but with TimCon

Like can you imagine Tim absolutely loving dnd and playing with his friends quit frequently (it was actually Jason who showed it to him) and somehow becoming the forever dm that always has to host.

Everyone loves when Tim hosts at his house because of the fact he has a whole room dedicated to being the dm. A while table, the figurines, the spreadsheets, the snacks and anything else you could think of.

Now the part everyone hates. Tim is a prodigy he is smart and cunning and makes the most difficult quests he can come up with and those plans that the players can sometimes get around if they use what's around them? Gone there is nothing but plan after plan of curated actions that he finds joy torturing others.

The thing is conner doesn't understand any of it and everyone always gets mad cause when conner plays Tim will always make slight adjustments. Only sometimes because he still finds joy in torturing his boyfriend who only wants to see him because they have been playing for 6 hours straight.

Conner however has once or twice stolen his folder and looked at the plans for the next session on occasion and when he does he absolutely obliterates all of Tim's plans. Everyone is flabbergasted and in awe and Tim is pouty cause he immediately knows conner peaked.

After the 3rd time he's banned from being a player but that doesn't mean he doesn't go around being a menace when he can. Especially if it means he can get his hands on free food.

The other potential of this is Tim and Jason convincing the batfamily to have a game night and it turns out to be dnd. The groaning and whining they do but they try to be hopeful that it'll be quick cause Tim said it was a one shot so nothing to long.

Nope it's 7 hours and steph and Cass are laughing cause they are the only ones who are able to figure anything out and got some really good stats. Dick is dead and in the corner cause he aged past his years. Damian is foaming at the mouth cause his halfing just got eaten by a mimic.

Duke tried to be nice to an npc and got stabbed four times because of it. Bruce is trying desperately to keep good faith but he's watching his paladin get thrown off the table (he goes to sit with his oldest in the corner)

Jason is sitting at the end throwing spell after spell but getting horrible rolls and is about to throw the table.

Alfred is the only one still standing beside steph and Cass and is quit proud of himself (but that is also because Tim has made sure Alfred got nothing but the best stats possible)

Ok so I might write a fic on this so it would be awesome. So lmk if I should also someone let me know what they think what dnd race each member of the batfamily would be!!

Trying to prove Damian would like Jay literally at all realistically would be a losing game.

Omg honestly I didn't think I would get this popular to be getting stuff like this cause it's a rare ot3 but my chat is tweaking about this and congratulating me.

So to explain myself I'm a firm shipper of jondami and Jay x Jonathan but I really wanted to pull the ultimate power move and add my favorite ships together but also I'm super mad at DC for ending the supersons comic the way they did.

Like they literally shouldn't have aged up jon to be older then his best friend and they hardly see each other anymore and this causes a lot of angst within the Fandom. Again I love the fact Jonathan came out as bi but they ruined something that was literally going so good. Plus Jay gets a lot of hate for no reason.

I've seen in way to many fics were he is a creepy perv or abusive or something like that I just want them all to be happy. Even if it means me taking something good and making it better.

Seriously even if Damian doesn't have romantic feelings for Jay or Jonathan then what does it matter? Telling me this isn't going to make me stop shipping it or trying to make the world love a character who's adorable.

I love all good characters and growth whether or not it's in a ship. This would be like saying people shouldn't ship somethin like Jason or Rory, superbat, heck even things like Tim x conner.

It may not be cannon or maybe even the best ship ever but I like it and I'm doing this kinda for me. I mean like I love people and everyone who has supported me already is amazing and I love you but like it's cool dude.

Just do your own thing and be happy about it. Life is kinda cool like that.
