six months since || just another day, thank god

and i am glad, so deeply glad, that six months since the worst day it is just a normal day. i feel normal. i am on meds now. i am happier. i am in therapy. and i am no longer in the space. a thousands times happier and a thousand times more stable. i do things that make it easier for me to move through the world instead of just pushing through. it is another day and tomorrow will be another days and those days will bleed into a future.

Just a bard in the light of Eilistraee's Towers, from my fic "On Darkness". (Astarion can brush his hair (finally) but he can't make him hold his flute like a normal person. Pointless chatter and another version with different shading under the cut.)

I have been laid up in bed for a few days and have too much brain fog to do any significant writing, so I've been messing around with the digital art program that I bought but never used.

I am actually shocked this came out looking even vaguely like my idea of TG in my head lol. His hair, to Astarion's chagrin, rarely looks this polished, and his flute is currently lost in a cave-in somewhere, of course. (You may notice the flute depicted seems to be made of some kind of Underdark material instead of normal wood... 🤔😉)

The version below makes it easier to see scarring details, but also looks a lot less polished 😅 anyway thats enough rambling byeee

For anyone not in the discord server who would like to see my attempt at making some of the OCs in On Darkness, see below the jump.

As always, please ignore the armor/class designation. I was trying different things out to get a screengrab of facial expressions that matched the character. Also, they are all vampires, and they do not look as washed out here as they did on my console 😩 pls pretend they are all extremely pale mofos First we have Best Boy, Rooster. He is skinnier than this, but there's only so much I can do in the character creator.

next up, Finn, who will not be escaping the 'dog-with-separation-anxiety' allegations any time soon.

Julius, and Lav, Rory and Rooster's roomie and friend. (Julius should not be that Big, but he is tall, and I was limited)

And finally, Rory. Tbh, hers is the design I'm least thrilled about (she doesn't exactly look 15-16 here) and I actually I'm not 100% set on this appearance, but she deffo has short hair and a lot of sass.
