okay fine i’ll bring back the egg. sorry for the pun but i’ve been sitting on this for a while because i can’t decide what to name them

they love being warm and must be approximately as snug as a bug in a rug at all times <3

didn’t give much context before but we’re going with that the egg was abandoned in winter horns and recovered by a group of waddle explorers

there wasn’t a lot of (known) writing on dedede’s species so figuring out what to do from there was kinda hard and they didn’t really know anything for certain, but between a little research, a gut feeling, and dedede and mk already used to Parenting, they passed the egg onto them to look after and well. yeah

it was definitely a rollercoaster for dedede, to be given hope that there were others like him after all - so it was only natural he’d take it very seriously. he spends a lot of time with them and they’re very clingy because of it. he says they’re like a duckling

being so big also comes with problems because as clingy as they are, they outgrew being able to be held by other people pretty fast lol

anyway i guess i’ll introduce the other kid next? between the two of them uhh dedede had a very tiring few years. stay at home dad problems i guess. on top of being a king lol

he probably realized how grateful he was that kirby was so independent lol..

the real enemy is everyone (meta especially) having a busy schedule

why I ship benrex:

I really do think they would become really close friends once they got more screentime and moments together (them in the same universe have so much potential man) and they actually get along in the heroes unite, a very popular interpretation of them is actually them both understanding each other very well, which is I agree

they are both the organization's main weapon (the plumbers and the providence), and they expect too much in their shoulders at the young age, like they are literally a walking weapons

they are actually really lonely considering they feel isolated because of their unique circumstances and abilities and they want genuine connection

I can't stop thinking at the ben 10 OV idw comic issue 1 where ben does actually feel lonely because of fame, I see this as ben feeling isolated because of how people treated him because of his power and status, it's kinda the same thing for rex, he is always viewed as nothing but a weapon by people and providence (someone pointed out the reason rex wanted to be famous as shown in ep exposed is because he wanted to be view more than a weapon)

I think they think they go for each other when they are down, since they are the only ones who understand each other's problems, yeah they have other friends but they are the only ones who would go together

I just think they would go well with each other, they have each other's nonsense, they may be chaotic but at least they are together, they would have some banters and stuff but they would really go well as a group

and they would love to go with adventures together, i think none of them hates being superheroes actually, it's just that they would love to have some mundane stuff like playing video games and sports and hanging out with friends

Millicent Bulstrode is hopeless. And that's not always a bad thing.

Rec: oh this was a tough prompt to rec for. i won’t go into all the fics i considered and all the reasons i decided meh or nah or doesn’t fit because this fic!!! this one was PERFECT. millicent is so earnest and such a precious bean, and the author carries her voice just beautifully through her growing-up years, finding and defining herself through dance lessons and teas with her muggle gran, to entering hogwarts and getting to know a bunch of other delightful misfits. neville! colin! prof sprout! what a wonderfully humanizing fic.

p.s. bespoke, postwar millicent gets a suit and also a butch lesbian mentor, is one of my fave fics and this one reads so well as a prequel to that!

The one who drew way too much Casanuva at one point. The one with the goofy aus. One of the three (3) McKraken fans. Or when I used to be a Zote Hollow Knight/Captain Charlie Pikmin account (if you know me from those days DAMN)

My beloved man… I made a Golurk OC and he’s been my everything lately 🧡

Standing at 11 ft, just over the average height, Hercules didn’t get much of a chance to really relish his newfound size and strength with any amount of pride like he should have. His whole just is that when he was but a small, child sized Golett, he wandered off and found himself in a small cave. But inside, some pretty hectic no-good Pokémon found his arrival interruptive, instead opting to wanting to teach him a lesson of knocking first. But boy, for a small Golett, he really showed them not to be so rude to guests even if unwarranted. Hercules overpowered the group with impressive strength for a small Pokémon, and it drove them away. Before he had a chance to recollect himself out of the scare and leave the cave, his body began to glow, the exertion of power triggering evolution. His body started to morph into what would be his massive sized-Golurk form, but alas, such cave space was no bigger than he was, and the confined space couldn’t hold his sheer size.

As he evolved, the ceiling and walls began to crumble on him, and in panic of the realization, he thrashed about, trying to stop from the crash. Alas, he clattered to the ground as the rubble covered him in, it too heavy and him too tired to escape… the tunnel to the cave entrance too narrow anyway.

In his painful endeavor in hopes of one day escaping, he beats at the ceiling of the tunnel with his single right arm exposed with his head. It makes the ground slightly rumble and quake… but no one usually suspects a Pokémon within the ground like that could be the cause. At least, not a massive Pokémon of his size. How would it even get down there?

Parts of his left side mostly and his legs have deep red markings around, which are technically scarring. Due to leaking water in the caves that eroded parts of his body, it didn’t want to give up that easily, and instead healed with bright jasper-like scarring. Not many see this, though, for he’s still ever waiting for the chance to find release, longing for the sun once again…

I don’t have a super specific use for him other that RP at the moment, but god I love this guy so much :)
