Only took a full hour to remember how to do snatches again. It's like riding a bike but the bike is a barbell and the plates are the wheels and you're whipping the whole thing in the air.

Still not feeling the best; did a light leg day (barely anything tbh). I tried to walk on the treadmill but it was broken

One year ago, I about broke my leg trying to snatch this weight. Today, it felt good. Granted, the snatch balance and OHS need some work. But, progress.

After 2 1/2 years, I finally hit a new snatch PR at 85!

I had failures and form that can be improved, but I knew I threw it up and could keep up the weight. I have a long way to go & form to work on… but I’m glad I finally hit a new number (multiple times) and gained some confidence in a move I loathe with a passion.

The environment was toxic, and many in the gymnastics community had written her off. But Simone said, I see you Queen. In 2019, Simone invited Jordan to relocate from Washington to Texas to join the gym that she OWNS- a safe space with a positive environment. When Jordan arrived, the first thing they worked on was not building her skills but instead building her confidence. Two years later, Simone and Jordan are headed to the Olympics together. This is what we mean by lift as you climb. Trophies are nice but the biggest flex is winning together and creating an environment where others thrive too!

How many Ukrainians will never be able to build careers, and families, and live their lives while Russian athletes can and will keep pursuing their goals in sports? At the same time, represent their bloodthirsty country, which is Russia itself. This is unfair. It should not be this way. Make Russia pay!
