What would the shorts be in your AU? I think it be a live demonstration of how someone (Mr meteor) is integrated into the hivemind and how it's "safe" and "the right thing to do"- basically propaganda. but things keep messing up

wander's not like. super public with the cult the way hater is with his empire in the show, so i don't know whether he'd be airing something like that across the galaxy. hater's got like. totally negative charisma, especially when he's being recorded, and yet he continues recording himself, and i think that's a trait meteor would still share with him. mr meteor is very much like metroman of megamind to me, also, where he quits his life of fame & glory to become a nobody, but he still has that streak of like. craving the kind of attention a rockstar gets as opposed to the superhero/king treatment.

so i imagine the shorts would be like. meteor's vlogs on his youtube or something. and he's starting a series called Inside Planet Yonder or whatever where he sets up a camera in an unassuming place and does little dances for the camera until he gets caught. like a prank show or something, but very benign and mildly annoying as opposed to antagonistic. this does require the shorts to take place before wander is redeemed, but honestly, the timeline in this au is so scrambled when you try to put it up against the show itself (which is already crammed into two very short seasons) anyway

Okay so I tried looking back at "Sexercise" and by all the things in heaven I had forgotten how porny it was... I mean what else am expecting with porn content but... Ah, the thing is I'm getting old. I'm not actually old but I am not the teenager I used to be when starting Tumblr. And I am asexual, you see. Not as in "repulsed by sex" (though I used to for a while), just... it leaves me indifferent. This allowed me to go through porn works back in the days to look for all the things that were around the actual sexual things happening. But as time flies by and I grow older I just... you know it kind of tires me.

Take Sexercise. I LOVE the way the main character's body is drawn, I love that we have a full weight gain then weight loss allowing us to see his body evolved from muscular-fit to handsome-thickness. But... while before I could go through the whole thing while just scrolling mindlessly the porn sections, now I just get tired of them. Tired of how over-the-top and ridiculous some of it is, and tired of how just plain cringe sometimes it is. It is part of why I kind of slowed down overall in posting - especially with animes as while when you're a youthful teen you can pass off all the sexual and perverts elements in anime as just another joke or just the weird Japanese tradition, after a while you get to spot it everytime and realized how weighing and heavy it is (no pun intended) and it kind of wears me out. Especially when you realize how gross and wrong a lot of this is (because when you look for things touching the fetish in the scenes of mangas and manhwa, BY GOSH you fall on some disturbing stuff).

Anyway... If anyone wants to relay me or take over the look for good Sexercise picks to appreciate the weight gain of our chubby boy, don't hesitate. It seems I was the ONLY one to talk about this because of how only my pictures come out on Google Image when searching for this...

Happy Halloween, ny'all. 🎃

Back hurts (what's new lol), so I didn't feel like pulling a wig out for this, but I hand-knitted the beanie this month (along with a bunch of socks). I've been watching some of my fave horror movies over the past 2 months and paying attention to the fiber arts involved for knitting/crochet inspo. I figured I had yarn in the right shade (well, similar, this one is heathered periwinkle and brown) to make the beanie Heather wears in The Blair Witch Project, so might as well make that my Halloween costume since I have similar enough clothes in my closet. The yarn is too thick to put on the dog embroidery (and I ain't an embroiderer), so I'm fine calling this a costume and not a cosplay lol. I got too many health issues going on right now to strive for accuracy (the flannel isn't even accurate either).

Still, it was fun knitting something I saw in a movie. And I've never done a beanie on circular needles before, and I learned a new cast-on method that I'm trying on the cuffs of my current socks-in-progress because it's extra stretchy ('circular tubular cast on for 1x1 rib' it's a type of provisional cast on and is super fiddly with a crocheting start, but was perfect for a stretchy beanie to have a seamless start).

Anyway, that's all I got. Haven't been feeling like posting on here much, but it's Halloween.

((Also, that plastic bag is my Halloween tree, RIP. I have had a back injury [from heavy lifting around the house] since May that never got better and I've re-injured it twice since then, and I think I'm just going to skip all decorations altogether this year, 'cause I'm just in too much pain to do more than sit.))
