Frozen: Winter Festival official first episode | Latest Updates

It's happening! It's an actual series. Well just not on Disney plus or in the main 3D animation. Instead it's a cute 2D animated (in Frozen's classic 2D art style) series on YouTube. The series will focus on Elsa and Anna hosting their first Winter Festival since the gates reopened, meaning it takes place before Frozen 2. It's got a few lore related things and mentions the events of Frozen I.

I know some of you might be thinking, wait didn't Olaf's Frozen Adventure make their first holidays together? Yes it did but I think their series is set a few days before marking the first day of winter, not the holidays. So imma assume this is set in December 1st and the events of Olaf's Frozen Adventure are set between the 21st - 25th December.

It's cute and fun and interesting. Maybe hints to Frozen 3 in upcoming episodes, who knows? But I think this is just a bit of fun and some Frozen content for us while we wait for Frozen 3...in 2027..in just over 2 years. But regarding the animation style, I totally understand the reasons for not being in the 3D animation form we're used to seeing, as Frozen 3 and 4 will need all the time and attention it can get.
