i definitely think kirishima first ends up seeing you talking to mina on a random day. you and her are just talking about dance when you two are suddenly interrupted by the outgoing redhead inquiring about who you are.

he suddenly realizes that you had went to junior high with them but had never really hung out with the popular group due to having a close circle of friends- one of whom is mina.

"actually? I never saw you..!" he chuckled rubbing his neck with a slight blush, you just wave it off with a quick smile, "nah dont worry bout it.."

well fuck... now at least kirishima knows what exactly he likes the most about you. your gut wrenching, heart pumping, adorable ass smile.

"Again?" You groan as you see Leo stumble through the infirmary door, bloody, bruised, and a shit eating grin on his face, for the seventh time this week.

It's Friday, capture the flag. The infirmary was busier than ever, so Leo showing up (again) was more of an annoyance than a flattering gesture as per usual. You didn't have time for his sassy-sarcastic-filled conversations.

His grin somehow grows wider when he hears your voice, your tone more annoyed each time he walked into the infirmary. it seemed impossible how he could grin like that when he was probably in a hell of a lot of pain.

You checked over the damages. Black eye, minor scratches on his palms, clutching his own stomach, and bruises everywhere. He was probably bleeding under his shirt, too.

It crossed your mind that maybe that was done on purpose, so you had to take his shirt off. You quickly shook off the thought. It was probably not true and just something you made up, right? Right?

"Yeah... yeah, hi." Leo mumbled, the pain evident in his voice. You scoff and look around for one of your siblings to take Leo off your hands. You already had so many patients on your plate. You couldn't deal with Leo right now.

"I'll get Will to fix you up, Leo. I don't have time -" You started to say before:

"No! No... p-please?" Leo whined, vulnerability laced within his tone of voice.

You frowned, a little confused but not giving in.

"Leo Valdez, I don't have time to deal with this--with you right now. There's too much to do, and we're running low on supplies and-and." You cut your rant off with a heavy sigh.

"No," You said.

"Please, y/n? I'm... I'm hurt." Leo pouts, though he sounded serious for once

You groan and grab his wrist, triggering a wince out of him. Gods, he was bruised everywhere.

You lead Leo into an empty room, practically shove him on the infirmary bed, and lock the door.

Leo chuckled and winced, but there was no sarcastic comment on how you dragged him here. This was the most concerning thing of all.

You turn to face him, seeing a grimace on his face though he tried (and failed) to keep a nonchalant expression.

"Rate your pain 1-10." You mumble to him, almost in annoyance.

"0 out of ... out of ten. Wouldn't...Wouldn't recommend."

"Okay, repeating words but keeping a sarcastic attitude. I'll put that at a 9..."

You take Leos arm and inspect the damage. Not much, a few minor scratches, and one bigger scratch, but nothing major. You checked his other arm to find mostly the same things.

"You better be thankful for this, I have so much to deal with right now, and you aren't helping." You said to Leo while rolling up his shirt sleeve to see his left shoulder.

"Yeah, well, gotta see....see, my favorite doctor." Leo beamed, though he stumbled over words. You frowned.

"Where's it hurt most?" You asked gently after seeing nothing major that would cause his stumbling.

Leo pointed to his lower torso.

Shit.

You grimace. This might be a worse injury then you thought.

"Take ... take off your shirt." You tell him, looking away for just a second. Shitshitshi-

Leo grins like the devil and says: "Well, jeez, y/n. Take me out to dinner first." Before slowly removing his shirt, peeling it away from a nasty cut with a wince.

When Leo finally got his shirt over his head, you saw just how many scars he had. Not ones that were fresh and still bleeding, but ones that were months, years old.

Of course, you have scars of your own, but with how many healed scars Leo had... it couldn't be good in any way.

"...damaged goods, I know." Leo chuckled half heartedly. It shattered your heart into a billion different pieces.

"No," you whispered while rummaging through drawers for supplies. The actual bleeding cut on his left lower torso was pretty damn bad.

"You're not damaged goods, leo."

"and even if you were, that wouldn't change the way people see you. You -" You cut yourself off, not sure why you were going on this big rant trying to convince Leo he was worth something to someone - to everyone.

Turns out he just so happens to be moving to your small town with some of his kids after he and Eve split. Yeah, turns out a lot can happen in X-teen years.

It’s freaky how much a couple of his kids- who just so happen to alsmot immediately warm up to you- bare a resemblance to you for some reason.

ugh and u hate how perfect they are for eachother! Their families are friends and have been rooting for them to be together!

one day, you took a break from studying and went to a house party ur friend was hosting. you didnt really want to go but you needed to touch grass and plus you didnt want to let down ur friend.

Your having (semi)-fun until you see Adam sulking alone on the porch with a half-empty beer in hand. Despite EVERY instinct in your body telling you to let him be, you went over just to say "hey" and totallyyy didnt root for adam and eve's relationship downfall

He confided in you that Eve cheated with some "fucking blonde twink" and was totally heartbroken. You honestly felt bad for him, you've never seen Adam feel anything but happy (or horny), so you let him rant about the "cheating slut" without showing your lingering feelings for him.

A few drinks later and the two of you are drunkenly making out in the bathroom, you didn't really know how it got to this point, but you werent fighting it.

You hadn't seem Adam since. He wasn't good for you, and you had plans in life! You couldn't just cater to the whims of someone who wasn't even actually into you.

Years pass and your a successful lawyer! Few boyfriends here and there but, none quite stuck. Seeing the "for sale" sign suddenly disappear on your neighbor's front lawn prompted you to go be a good neighbor and drop off some brownies for the new home owner (that were def handmade and NOT bought from a store bc u can't cook for shit).

A tall brunette teenager in a letterman jacket answers the door, striking a feeling of nostalgia within you that you couldn't quite place... He introduces himself as Cain and greedily takes the brownies from you

Cain: "DADDD, SOME RANDOM MILF IS HERE!"

Booming footsteps echo throughout the house and lo and behold, its none other than Adam from college! And he kind of looked like shit... He wore a plain black t shirt with various mystery stains and baggy gray sweatpants.

Adam: "Oh shit! Y/N?" he immediately tries to fix his appearance and wipe the Doritos crumbs off his face

This has been in my head for like weeks and it's what makes me struggle to actually finish arcane LMFAO. For context ive been mostly interacting with arcane stuff on tiktok and ive seen some stuff and opinions that doesn't sit well with me.

also on another note i havent fully finished arcane, i stopped at s2 ep6 so ep7 to 9 i have no prior knowledge apart from spoilers i got bc of arcane edits.

and on one last note, if you disagree or agree with me in this you're free to express it. just be civil. we can all be adults and we know how to understand so just mind your words bc people on tiktok state their opinion so aggressively, it is not needed. we dont need that energy here.

okay so with that out of the way, like i said ive seen a lot of tiktoks lately and i want to kind of speak my mind (technically rant) about some of the discourse regarding characters and whatnot. This is going to be long.

also, spoilers.

so first up is caitlyn. How do i start?

Caitlyn:

I do love caitlyn... in season 1.

in s2 not so much but hear me out. a lot of people have been debating on her actions and how half the fandom hate her, half love her (some a little,,, off putting but ill get into that later) and here's my unneeded take. I don't think its valid. like her actions in s2 are so morally wrong it blows my mind.

first of all, Im not going to say that its ooc of her because that doesnt make sense to say. this cant be ooc (in my perspective) because we have never seen caitlyn angry to the point of doing this. this is our (or my) first time seeing her go through grief this bad that it has her making decisions we dont particularly agree with or is objectively right to do. we cant say that this is "out of character" because we had'nt had prior idea or knowledge to how she'd cope with her mother's passing.

second off, like i said i dont think its valid. yes, i understand her actions are a result of her mothers untimely passing but we can't keep saying that it was right of her to do what she did.

we can empathize and we can understand that what she's doing is because she's had enough of jinx putting the people of piltover in danger because obviously she cares about these people, and it put her over the edge the day that her mother died because of jinx. but it doesnt mean that her actions were right objectively (i say objectively because we all have different moral compasses).

lets get into what she did

her actions consist of:

-gassing the undercity (even after watching an entire documentary/history lesson about how her mother built the ventilation systems to keep the grey out of the undercity)

i dont want to hear people saying that it never showed people dying, it was only used on the gangs, the goons, and jinx. people, we dont need to see people dying to know that the grey has been a problem zaunites have had to deal with for years until cassandra (cait's mom) built those vents.

yes, you can say that they didnt show people dying, doesn't mean that using it wont have consequences if anyone that was innocent does get affected. gas spreads, it moves, it can and it will affect anyone in the vicinity or anyone that comes across it. how do you know that it didnt affect anyone?

even in a moral lens, isnt it just wrong to use the grey ( which in the real world might be equal to something like tear gas. theory tho, going off of tear gas effects) to "clear out" the streets of the undercity where homeless people litter the streets, where children, old people, and people with disabilities roam freely?

-the scene where she insisted she wont miss her shot at jinx

for this one, i think she said this because she was obviously frustrated. she believed in her abilities and she had jinx right in front of her and obviously she wasn't thinking straight.

but people, i cant defend her when i saw her miss her shot just a minute prior. she can think that about herself, that she can shoot past isha and hit jinx in the head, i cant. like i said she missed, it is absolutely not a guarantee to her that they wont move once she pulls the trigger, which is exactly why she hit jinx in the finger instead, and almost killed vi before too.

like its more understandable for me that that statement would come from her, than if it came from someone that was watching the show.

with that, i think i covered mainly my thing with caitlyn. i do empathize, and i do think that for someone thats grieving and angry, her actions can be understandable in that perspective. i do not however, think her actions are justified, especially bc its borderline fascist (if not already). she's a dictator in simpler terms and its just so wrong no matter how i look at it.

i mentioned earlier as well that there were caitlyn supporters that were off putting, but honestly even caitlyn haters can be the same so really its not just a one sided thing going on. the least we can do with this topic, especially because its not black and white, is be civil and just talk about it properly we dont need aggression.

Jayce:

I love jayce, i truly do. well, for the most part.

this rant simply started bc i saw people saying he's privileged, he's egotistical etc, etc.

here is my take.

some people (might just be one actually) see jayce as a minority, or an immigrant and believe that that erases his privilage. but let's talk about it.

no matter if jayce is a minority, or an immigrant, it does not erase that he is from a known house (even if its small) and lives in piltover. he is in the academy, a known scientist and inventor, and he's part of the council. where is the privilege? right there.

he has privilege, why are we erasing that? he has the privilege to live in piltover, to study and learn, to meet with the highest of the highs that control and lead their entire nation, to be known as a great inventor and scientist who, through hextech, has improved the lives of many, who bears a name that is recognizable as a house, and even if he is not equal in wealth with salo or mel, is still equal in status because he now stands amongst them in the same rank and has mel beside him to get the other counselors on board with his plans or ideas.

he has privilege, we cant erase that just because he's an immigrant, because objectively he's living a life better than anyone in the undercity does. hell, viktor has privilege because he's living in piltover now, he no longer lives in the undercity where people struggle, get hunted down, and killed.

thats mostly what i wanted to talk about, i cant say if he is egotistical because i cant remember him being one? arrogant in a way, maybe. but egotistical im not so sure.

with that note.. thats all the word vomiting i can do. but mainly my main gripe is how s2 loses what i loved with the s1 storyline and its the oppression that piltover has on the undercity. it could have been even better if they had handled it properly but i guess it just gets erased like that..

anyways, like i said im up for discussion. you're free to dicuss, to correct, to agree because i can admit i might be forgetting about certain scenes or diaogue or whatnot and its good to be educated and to learn from other people as well.

so, idk, dont take this too personally. at the end of the day it is a show, with important storylines, but still just a show nevertheless. we dont need to be so personal and so aggressive with debates, we can have it like adults, and we can have opinions and thats okay.

sierra is sooooo complicated to me like. i could go on about her for so long & also i wish the writers did certain things with her character (which i will get into later in this rant) so ya here we go

firstly her childhood is . very clearly messed up?? it’s established that her mother is Ultra Obsessed with chris and i think sierra mentions being a 3rd generation chris mclean scholar at one point which implies that obsession just runs in the family atp😭 before even going on the show she’s grown up in an environment where this level of obsession is Normal so she doesn’t see anything wrong with turning out the same way

since her mother is like . obsessed with chris & stuff that’s probably what would bring sierra to watching total drama in the first place and i personally feel like she’d fixate on it because it was a group of teenagers her age, people she would like to be friends with if that makes sense? i can imagine she’d be a pretty odd child without many friends so that’d maybe be a reason for her to latch onto total drama, maybe why she latched onto cody too because like. she thinks he’s cute and they have things in common (like theyre both pretty geeky) so she gets pretty parasocial about it because, as mentioned before, her mum being obsessed with chris is just Normal to sierra so she thinks it’s normal for her to be obsessed with cody (spoiler alert girl: it’s really not)

while she’s on the show i feel like she doesn’t change / gets worse because chris sees her exhibiting Mental Illness and just… actively encourages her behaviour? and the other contestants do nothing to stop it, like how most of the time (e.g. paris) team amazon get mad at cody for sierra’s behaviour instead of helping him out for some reason??? no one tells sierra her behaviour is wrong so she just. Continues to get worse until shes out of the competition😭

this is where im gna interrupt with a canon divergence because like . personally i think in the episode where votes were revealed and cody was revealed to have voted sierra Every Single Time, sierra shouldve gotten over him!!!! it was the harsh truth she needed to hear, the dose of reality that cody is NOT interested in her and she needs to move on. she couldve had good character development, building her relationships with other characters and showing off her skills. maybe she’d still be eliminated in drumheller because she made cody that birthday cake as an apology and then kaboom or whatever idk just some way to keep her elimination the same

going down this train could’ve made her character in all stars Actually Interesting ! we couldve seen a side of sierra that kept some of her old eccentric vibes but had her head in the game this time instead of being focused on a boy, especially since cody isnt even in that season

and of course lastly i just wanna say i’m not excusing her weird actions or her creepiness at all, she has some Extreme Flaws and all the stuff she did was absolutely not okay, i just like rotting and seeing maybe why she acted the way she did and i wanted to drop my own two cents on interesting avenues her character couldve went down :3 i know everyone in td is some form of stereotype and sierra was an obsessive uberfan but she couldve still been that after getting over cody, in fact im disappointed that she knew SO much about the cast yet didnt use any of their weaknesses to her own advantage, she couldve dominated the competition😭

so uhhh yeah thats my thoughts on sierra, i probably over-read her to filth but shes very complex to me and i wish certain aspects of her character were done differently, she had a lot of potential especially in all stars but um Everyone had their potential destroyed in all stars so i’ll overlook that

okay ive looked over the last few chapters and the various amenogozen deaths after about a day of crisis and confusion, and ive noticed a couple things about junichirous death in specific that i think are more than worth noting

firstly, amenogozen seems to show some kind of pity for kunikida and his state of shock before it kills him, and even as its stabbing its sword into his stomach. it lets him attempt to pull it out with no resistance, albeit acting as if it makes no sense by saying it cant truly harm him- though this could potentially be seen as an attempt to "console" him

junichirou, on the other hand? nothing. amenogozen stabs the illusion he created of himself with no hesitation, and no words to spare. when it locates the real junichirou, it coldly stabs him through the brain and out the eye from behind, where he couldnt have even tried to locate its attack

under cut is further rambling, warning for that one page where junichirou gets stabbed in the eye + mentions of sexual abuse

narratively, this is definitely because of the explicit bloodlust junichirou expressed towards amenogozen; it attacked as quickly as possible with as little chance for him to fight back because he's obviously dangerous, and fyodor instructed it to kill all of the ada members there as soon as possible. but, in a more metaphorical sense, especially when comparing it to kunikidas "death" (hes not dead i dont believe any of them are like seriously) it gets. um. upsetting

considering the way it seemed to try and console kunikida as i mentioned earlier, comparisons can be drawn to that of an abusive parent, although ill just be saying its an unspecified authority figure for the sake of this rant. in this metaphor, junichirou seems to play the role of the "disobedient" victim; whereas kunikida was frozen in place and didnt do much to fight against amenogozen attacking himself specifically, junichirou was immediately aggressive and threatened amenogozen, prompting it to "punish" him as soon as possible

now, this on its own is far from groundbreaking; if you did a drinking game for every time a character was mentioned to have been abused by an authority figure in bsd youd be dead before episode 6, but its the specific imagery evoked in junichirous death scene that really gets to me

looking at this page more closely, especially in the first and third panels, brought up some EXTREMELY unsavory implications for me. the specific way that the action of him being stabbed is drawn, what with the blood oozing from around his whole eye and the way you can just barely make out what looks like the inside of the eye socket, all exacerbated by amenogozen practically pulling his hair to keep him in place and unable to fight back... look im not gonna pretend like this isnt based off my preexisting perception of junichirou and his trauma but oh my god this feels so much like an allegory for some kind of sexual exploitation, especially the fact it was the EYE in particular which is an already existing opening in the body kind of

could this just be me going insane? very much so, not gonna deny it. do i fullheartedly believe thats whats being pointed at here? yeah actually

and the worst part of it is that junichirou is just so dejected during this whole thing. he pointed out his location to amenogozen when it stabbed his illusion, phrased his request to atsushi as if it were last words, and was just in general so horribly unsurprised by the attack. whatever this is symbolizing, my personal interpretation or not, junichirou has grown so used to it he cant even bring himself to act like he really cares about it anymore. youre going to hell kafka asagiri

okayyy let me just start off with WHAT THE EVER LOVING FUCK WAS THAT ENDING LAUREN???? i'm not okay because of it. like nuh uh get lost. u had no right to do that (im saying this as if it didnt get spoiled for me and i didnt gaslight myself the entire book read that it wasn't going to happen)

i would like to straight up say this seemed like a filler book. just a set up for the next one, it didn't really have all too much plot-wise aside from pae and kai's romance. it was less on the fantasy side and more on the romance but i still enjoyed it a lot. and obviously since it was a filler book there was less character development (for some- im looking at you paedyn)

kai and pae were really cute in this book honestly (and as it mostly focuses on the romance ofc they were) the banter and everything was so wonderful to read i was giggling and kicking my feet wayyy to much. the romance was romancing but also not romancing at the same time (im not even gonna try to explain that just use vibes)

i do feel as though lauren's writing has definitely improved from powerless. she has this whimsical magical style of writing that i love it really takes me into the world of the book (mostly). other times the long sentences were too much in moments. like lauren. we did not need to know the colour of the bricks in the market at this certain moment in time when you'd already explained the colour two pages ago-

kai - ok bye i could write a whole rant on why i love this man. like im sat. this book felt more like kai's book (as powerless felt like pae's) imo we got more on his backstory and i think his character (and povs) were more interesting for me to focus on. also his flirting and little one liners had me giggling and shit my sister actually woke up to me grinning like an idiot under torch light-

THEY DIDNT MISCOMMUNICATE, THEY ACTUALLY COMMUNICATED SO MUCH AND IM VERY PROUD OF MY TRAUMATIZED BOYS.

okay, sorry for yelling, and I do want to say that I'm also very proud of this fandom for not picking sides. The amount of people who agree that both Stolas AND Blitzø are to blame is amazing and very uncommon for any fandom, but we did it boys.

That being said let me tell you my only grievance with that take. "Stolas and Blitzø are both to blame for the miscommunication"

Miscommunication.

The definition of miscommunication is the "failure to communicate adequately" which, in my opinion, neither of them did.

Stolas said Exactly what he meant. Did Blitzø misinterpret it at first? Yes, but was that corrected? Also yes! He knows now, he knows that everything Stolas said was the cold hard truth.

The only one who would count as a miscommunication was Blitzø and I still don't believe that truly fits because he did mean those words, they were just never meant to reach Stolas. In Blitzø's rant he is spilling his guts to Stolas and telling him about his biggest fears and insecurities.

We constantly see Blitzø as this overly confident over the top guy who has a lot of trauma but refuses to show anyone for fear of letting them get too close (I think after his arc with getting Fizz back in his life this is starting to change) but here? He is aware of their social differences, he doesn't turn a blind eye to the fact that Stolas has imp servants, he knows who holds the power in the relationship and it worries and scares him.

Was this hard for Stolas to hear? Obviously. It would be hard for anyone to hear and Blitzø immediately feels bad for laying this all on him as he goes to apologize, but it wasn't untrue and Stolas heard him.

Something we say in my family is you know someone is truly upset when they ignore or refuse to talk because at that point they've stopped communicating.

They are communicating! And sometimes it hurts to hear how someone truly feels! But the fact that Blitzø tried to continue the conversation, tries to insight the yelling match, he ends his rant with "Let's go!" Because if they're yelling then they're still talking and if they're still talking then they still have a chance of fixing things, but Stolas is the one that refused to elaborate, refused to talk, refused to hear Blitzø out.

That's not to say that Stolas is at fault AT ALL. Stolas was in a vulnerable state. He was not mentally prepared to actually have that conversation and making the decision to teleport Blitzø was probably in his best interest, but I digress.

Anyways TL:DR - Stolas and Blitzø didn't miscommunicate, they said exactly how they felt just at the wrong time, but now they know and can actually think about the others words seriously AND I'm so proud of them cause they actually communicated a lot more than I thought they would!

QUEEN, YOURE BETTER THAN THIS. genuinely tho- nakaba try not to make all your characters pedos challenge (impossible). there are literally so many other ways in which Jericho could have ended up in a similar situation, but nakaba really just chose pedophilia? it couldve been something along the same lines just without the romantic attraction!! a family bond can be just as strong- and it couldve been something like her losing Lancelot or in some other way letting him down, and then thinking that he despises her and holds onto that grudge (which, judging his character it wouldve probably been a small spat that he got over) - but maybe Jericho didnt understand that, or wasnt ready to face him, expecting him to be livid - so she asked for an alternative reality where that didnt happen and they got along great as sister/brother or master/trainee. i wouldnt put Jericho past being so stubborn that she wouldnt believe when Lance would say that he forgave her, and then boom!! same set-up, just without the nasty pedophilia!!

ON THE NOTE OF WHICH- (theres so much of that garbage in nakaba's writing, fucks sake) - i genuinely hate the whole thing happening with Guinevere. the whole non-consensual kiss from a 12 year old to a 16 year old (ewwwww) is one thing, but then when Lance is reflecting on that interaction and he SMILES????

you have no idea how much this panel killed me to see. Lancelot youre better than this,,,, 4 years is not a big age difference when youre in your 30's, but when youre 16???? please,,,, cmon now,,,

I made the unfortunate decision to comment on a tiktok saying

Which made me actually realize in the context of Stolitz how much the fandom vilifies Blitz.

Upon rewatch I realized that he is actually kinda innocent lmao. So here comes the rant hop on in Verda rants at 4am again train.

The thing is first of all we need to work our media literacy muscles. So Stolas stans who think he is a uwu babygirl that dod nothing wrong repeat after me. "Blitz didn't watch "just look my way", "owl in a cage" or any other Stolas longing scene that we cried over"

Now that thats setteled I don't want to hear any "he is trying" bs because as of now (pre full moon s2e8) he hasn't actually done anything that Blitz is aware.

Lets start from the top my initial comment was about how Stolas treated him for so long before actually catching the feelings and how Blitz has a right to think he is not genuine.

Up top lest start with the condescending pet names and I won't be hearing Blitz cant be mad at that Stolas does it bc he thinks he likes it... jesus okay s2e1 when stolas starts the imp dirty talk what does blitz do a) encourage him b) get naked and dtf bc that was hot, c) shuts him up

Ding ding ding C. Stolas can still take this as bedtime play sure but we have a case for Blitz not liking it from day one. Other than that we all know he views Stolas' (perhaps in his mind endearing) pet names as condescention.

Secondly even if we ignore the power imbalance Stolas is the one to suggest the transactional fucking... s1e1 even tho in the forst time it was Blitz's doing, sorta. So don't at me saying well Blitz just uses him for the grimoire, like girly duh that was the premise. But Stolas also uses Blitz. Imo lending a book vs fucking in payment is a bot excessive but for Blitz's case beggars cant be chosers.

Now to the elephant in the room... Ozzie's. Does Blitz invite him (Stolas) purely out of selfish intentions that has nothing to do with him? Yes. Is he a dick? Yes. But Does Stolas hide his fucking face when he has a reality check? Yes. But then y'all be mad bc Blitz pulled his hand back.

That night Stolas was read once, Blitz was like at least 2 times... if we don't count the stuff for Stolas by proxy. He was having a hard night bro. And after Stolas invites him he is like no and Stolas respects that. Which if the show didn't add s2e2 in between it wouldve been a perfect stepping stool to get the Stolitz on healthy communication territory but that didn't happen.

I cannot for the life of me pin point when Stolas genuinely falls for Blitz. If its from day one damn it took him long enough to understand what he was doing was wrong.

Anyways we as fans can't be mad at Stolas because we know he is starting to understand the absolute power imbalance he created and the position he left Blitz in. He has realized that the thing is lets remember and repeat "Blitz is not watching the show with us". Blitz doesn't know of this sudden change of heart.

Now to adress a few meaningful interactions we have after ozzies. The fucking pixelated phone texts from s2 western energy.

Stolas apologizes but in that way that I look down upon. "Sorry if" like girl own it up anyways Blitz brushes it off and Stolas instead just goes hehe I didnt care either. Yall need relationship therapy my god. Important thing is Stolas was trying to reach out. But instead of going anything I said that made you upset etc he could've actually apologize properly for getting ashamed. Tho Blitz should also apologize for inviting him on a date for his own gain but thats another bag of worms I won't open tonight.

Other than that he has put off seeing him and doing the transactional fucking for a while. During those times. And as we know from all the phones Blitz breaks after talking to Stolas and hearing hus dirty talk he isn't too excited about. We don't exactly know if he comes or not on those nights. But he is also showm to be quite comfortable in s2e2 with the "my dick is good but its not that good" comment so maybe they do continue the arrangement... idk. Either way we know they haven't really talked.

All I am saying is that both parties of this ship are guilty af of hurting eachother and taking advantage of eachother. But as the power house of this power imbalance, Stolas needs to be held accountable. And he is doing that now!! Or will, in s2e8 and I can't wait to see how that goes. Overall, I can see totally why Blitz shuts down any signs that Stolas might actually be into him. He has a good bunch of reasons too. And as far as we've seen from the trailer we will get to hear him say it out loud as he should.

First and foremost. Why the Isabelle hate? I keep seeing people say she was a bitch and stuff, but she never came off that way to me. Maybe im missing something(please feel to tell me if so. I don’t care for spoilers)

Okay I’m going to cover a few things then get into the kiss and why I don’t think it destroys Daryl’s character🙏

“He would go back to his family. He wouldn’t stay there” He does TRY to go back but then a CHILD, that he’s very close to gets attacked. Of course he’s going to save the kid. It’s a kid. It’s also pretty hard to get back home me thinks.

Also I see many people making it just about who he’s “in love” with. HE WOULDNT ABANDON A CHILD THATS GOTTEN CLOSE TO HIM??? (“What about Judith” He knows Judith has other people and is safe. Judith can also fight and most of the people around her can too. Unlike these new people. I’m also sure he misses Judith dearly and wants to see her again.)

Also even if Daryl didnt go home because he fell in love. Let’s think what happened last time he went home and away from someone he loved(Leah) So yeah, maybe he doesn’t want to lose people close to him. (Which is something that’s effective him a lot) Maybe he’s experiencing complex emotions about how he feels which is why he’s not leaving. Again it’s also REALLY hard to leave.

“He wouldn’t fall in love with a woman hes know for 2 weeks” Did y’all not see Leah… he saw that girl 2 times in a year and was head over heels😭(I know I know. She was bad. Ngl I’m thinking about posting a rant about her) Also fall in love is a stretch. No I haven’t seen the episodes but I’m sure most of everyone has only seen spoilers.

“What about Connie” I love them don’t get me wrong but they aren’t canon. Heavily implied? Yeah. But feelings can change. And Daryl has VERY complicated feelings😭 (I AM A SHIPPER BUT PLEASE. Just calm down about that one. It makes it more shipper war than actually criticism of the show. Same goes for Carol and Daryl shippers. Also this doesn’t go to all of you, just some of you)

Okay as for the kiss. Do I think Daryl would fall in love again? Yes, but he’d be scared of showing it to the point where he does something LIKE kissing someone in a way where it seems weird. He’s lost a lot of people who he never got to show love and affection. People he loved/cared for that he didn’t get to show affection for. Since then he let his walls get lower and be more comfortable with things (notice how he treated new people in s1-s2 and how he treats them s10-s11) People like Rick Carol Maggie and more helped him see that he CAN be affectionate. (Which is why I think he was so comfortable with people like Leah at first. He clicked with her and he was okay with being close with her. No I don’t like there relationship BUT it is a good canon example even if not perfect)

But I don’t think he was in love with Isa(using nicknames here). I think he just cared for her and didn’t know what to do or how to deal with it. I think he also knew he’d go back and lose her at some point. Again, he’s lost a lot of people, and most those people he didn’t show much love or affection. If you think about that you can think about how maybe he wants Isa to know that he does care for her in some way before he leaves or before she dies. I’m sure he’s affected about everything that’s really happened to him. That shit changes a person and how they act.

“He’s never said I love you to anyone but Carol” I honestly think this a valid statement. I do think it would take time for him to build that up and REALLY feel comfortable with someone. But I’ve known people who are like that and then one day they just click with someone. Or then impulsively do things like kissing or saying I love you. Even if they really don’t fully mean it. I don’t know if Daryl said that to Isa, but to me it would still make sense to me.

I think so many people think these words “I love you” have to have a deep meaning where you really do love them. But sometimes the meaning is just that they seem right in the moment even if they aren’t perfect. Or they just have a different meaning to a person using them. Daryl doesn't love one person the same.

Also Daryl’s changed A LOT from s1. Even from s11. I don’t like how people are comparing them like he’s stay the same all the way through (not everyone just some people)

Someone said he didn’t really say yes to dancing with Connie in s11. But they were in a safe space where Daryl could fully think about his emotions without everything else in the world going on. Those two situations are very different.

also the nun fetish comments are wild. I think falling in love with a nun or just kissing a nun is not a nun fetish. (I will give the nuns cant fall in love points ofc. I’m not stupid)

Now do I think Daryl and Isa are cute? Not really. I’m not a big shipper BUT this is my opinions on it right now.

I wanted to go into more (Leah and his relationship with others) And the whole “he’s choosing them over people he’s known 10+ years” but… that one is just so clearly lying bull shit(sorry that’s mean) But I won’t go in to any of that, it’s a separate rant on it own.

At the end of the day, it’s just a kiss. (Also 95% sure she dies so. You don’t have to worry about him falling in love affecting him ig. We all now how the writes handle most deaths)

And who knows maybe in the next season or a new show they explain it better. Maybe I’ll see the episode and I’ll change my mind completely!
