i used to freehand comics all the time as a child and since the part i liked was the drawing part i would just draw panel after panel because i didn't want to stop drawing to think about icky icky words, plus the story TOTALLY still made perfect sense! to me! and noone else, but 'whoooo caaaaares omgggg its not like comics and sequantial art are a communicative meeediummmm lmaoooooo'. i spent my entire childhood telling myself stuff like "oh pfft I know this story by heart- ill SIMPLY remember the dialogue and write it later" ...and. It's my birthday. I am now 25 (physically.. not mentally, obvs) 🎉

Haven't posted art in a min half cos of college and half cos of my WebToon comic (link in bio to the sideblog jk haha unless), but it's really been a much better year for me than last year.

I feel much, much more able to express myself and, even if I'm still not at my peak confidence, and I still have problems at home, I feel better about having and knowing how I feel, as well as officially being done caring about what others think about my art.

Life is good. My friends are good. I draw at my own pace. Even after the worst days, I'm staying silly at heart. Here's to another year of not giving up 🍰
