the minute chase saw cyn on the other side of the door, it took every ounce of him not to shut it in her face. the two of them had everything planned out, he had things in place of where they could stay, places they could stop at, even a place where they could lay low for a little bit but he was left empty-handed. he was left alone, and he hadn't heard from her since. he had tried to pull her aside, to show some more emotion between the two since he knew what they had, but he could only wonder if his brother caught wind of all of this. he thought they were careful, especially after the birthday party but maybe someone had a big mouth and told his brother or his father. whatever the case was, he wanted to leave and he thought she wanted the same thing which he seemed to be very incorrect. "come in." he muttered as he moved back a bit so she could step inside his apartment. he didn't know what to say to her, especially when he thought his plan was perfect. as he shoved his hands in his pockets, he headed to his kitchen to grab them something to drink. "you okay?" he knew it had to involve mason. ever since the party they hadn't spoken to one another. in every meeting they were on separate sides, they were never close to one another and he knew things would stay that way for the time being. "what brings you over here?"
