@heroexxs meet sanem togan kinda wild and free.
there wasn't a logical reason for why her day was always better when they came into the shop. it was an illogical thing, she had just accepted that when she first noticed after a few weeks of them coming in. there was a healthy amount of insanity a person could have, mostly leftover from the magic of being a child in her opinion. like the easter bunny or st nick or pots of gold at the end of rainbows.
today had been one of the less days, no drop in to pick out a new flower, and she'd pretended to be alright with that as she finished up orders and arrangements. as she finished for the night she played music and danced about the shop, putting things away for the next day before she grabbed her coat and her keys. she set the coffee machine and the store alarm before heading outside. while she was locking the front door however, the loud rumble of a motorcycle pulled her from her task as she watched them roll up in front of the shop.

"so if you plan on saying i told you so, you better save it for after i leave. i'm too heartbroken to hear about how right you were." and really, terra had been right. they had said maeve's boyfriend ( well ex-boyfriend now ) was no good. and he'd prove it the very moment he'd dump her for another girl. "do you . . . think i can stay here tonight? we can get comfortable and order a fuck ton of food so i can eat my problems away," maeve offered. "i just can't go back home right now." although maeve had stayed over at terra's a dozen times before, she still felt the need to ask. terra was one of the few friends she had left and she didn't want to ruin it by being so overbearing. // @heroexxs

CLOSED STARTER FOR @heroexxs
MUSE: atticus walsh / 30 / secretary @ a law firm / heterosexual
carrying on from HERE
knowing that gabe was going to be at the party made atticus nervous, she'd spent much longer on her look than normal, making an effort, and her friends teased her about it. she was excited about seeing him again though and looking forward to getting to know him, her roommate couldn't wait to be introduced too.
atticus entered her living room, from her kitchen, drink in hand, the party was in full swing. she spotted him, casually, she made her way over to him, trying to seem cool, "hey! you made it".
#heroexxs#☆゚*・゚you know i talk too much— ↳ atticus / conversation#suprise!!!#i know u didn't ask but i was having fun with our other thread & wanted 2 carry on!!

Closed starter for @heroexxs || Matt and Sarah
"Look, if you ask me, I can't think of a single better way to be spending my Friday evening than by drinking wine with one of my best friends." Matt lifted his glass to his lips and took a sip, smiling around the rim as he looked over towards Sarah. He loved their little catch ups like this, enjoying hearing about how she was getting on at work, whether anything interesting had been happening in her life.

"come on, just let me put a little bit of glitter on you? it'll be cute." florence herself was only half dressed, walking around in a mini skirt and a bralette with her own makeup setting. now that they were living together, dani seemed to be a constant distraction. if she was always in reach, why wouldn't she be talking to her or sitting next to her or kissing her or touching her? "please?" she pleaded, batting her eyelashes as she sorted through her eyeshadow palettes for one with a lot of purples. "this would look so good on you."

{ @heroexxs x }
"Kev, don't," Her tone is still sympathetic but now, with the intention of absolving away his guilt—even if she wasn't physically able to do so. Maintaining the safety of their family was the most important thing to them and moving was the least of their concerns. But alot of planning had to be done, with a cautious perspective. "You were barely an adult when you got mixed up and into all this nonsense. You could not have predicted this." Part of Leona still wished she had known about his dealing when they begun dating, but their outcome could've changed (though, looking back now, she knew she would have been a walking contradiction to her morals. Life was about taking risks, afterall. It didn't define him and would've loved him the same.) "We've always tried to shade the kids away from danger, but in life, you can't protect them from everything. Trust me, I wish," And it makes her sigh once again. They're her babies. He's her rock. Her family is her home, even if they have to relocate miles or cities away. "But, I suppose til we have to move, we might as well have low maintenance security-- just-- just to keep us both at bay with a temporary peace of mind. Especially on Jon's graduation day." It makes her more anxious just thinking about it. Where was that cigarette from earlier?
Kevin wrapped his arms around her and she couldn't help but nuzzle, even if they were sitting against the uncomfortably hardwood kitchen chairs, because nonetheless it's a comforting feeling. She ALWAYS wants him around even if he think it's best to leave. In her eyes, it's not. She'd like to respectfully reprimand him for thinking so absurdly, but it's late, and there is no point (especially since Leona didn't like doing it last time). After twenty years of this long-term relationship and speaking sense into one another, he knows the familiar look in her eyes instead-- it will ALWAYS be you and me against the world, (even if that's another cliche saying). A moment of silence filled the air as Leona began to subconsciously play with the casual collar of his night-shirt, admiring the texture of the soft fabric and grounding feeling of his warmth. It kept her distracted but Leona still thought about all the possibilities ahead.
"A vacation at the beginning of the summer sounds like a good idea," Her voice dipped as she turned her head towards the hallway, having thought she heard footsteps approaching-- noting that this would be the worst time to lie to their kids. With a hum, she looked back at Kevin, with the certainty there was nobody there. "I have nowhere I want to particularly live in, as long as we've got everything we need, and a library, and snow at Christmas time." Taking a plane or a train anywhere might arise suspicions but if they had to travel that far and out of danger, they just might have to risk it even further. "I would say we should go somewhere more than a few hours away, however, we don't want to go too far or stay too close. If you give me the directions, I will do most of the driving. I've noticed your mid-day naps and don't mind taking the reigns." With a soft chuckle, Leona pressed a kiss to his cheek before deciding to shut her eyes and rest her head back against her husband's shoulder. All this talk made her more awake than tired. In the end, they would figure it out and she wholeheartedly believed it. Did someone really want Kevin dead? "If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you like to go?" This wasn't just about her, so, she asked him back.

although chloe didn't know anyone in that party besides kyle, she just knew it would be legit: after all, he was the one who brought her to the best parties and hangouts she's ever been, the only reason why she was able to meet so many good people. chloe was a recluse person, it was true: but that didn't necessarily mean she didn't like to socialize every now and then. so after a few shots, now completely out of known faces, she gathers closer to another girl, who seems just as recluse. "tell me you don't know this bastard" she gently moves her head towards kyle's direction, then back to the girl.

OPEN TO: @heroexxs (based on this)
THE ALCOHOL WARMED his throat. The music was crappy and loud. The lights were flashy and colorful. And Molly was, like always, looking absolutely beautiful. Adam sighed - their game was never going to end. "I should be offended." He almost yelled, coming into the other's line of sight. "I don't remember you telling me you were gonna hang here tonight." His smile held a tinge of fake disappointment as he shook his head. "Are you too cool to be seen partying with me now? I can take the truth."

plotted starter · FREYA & EZIKIEL · @heroexxs
“sorry it took a minute to make it over. had to drop the kids at a birthday party across town.” freya dropped her large purse on the front table and stripped her jacket before making her way over to a waiting ezikiel. they were only table to meet like this in the middle of the day, so that her husband wouldn’t suspect anything. it could be complicated with conflicting schedules, but they made it work. “which means we’ve only got a couple of hours to be alone.” freya pouted and brushed a finger over a fading cut on the man’s face. “playing nice?” she chuckled lightly.

@heroexxs ft. kalina buchanan
"i told you i couldn't hang out." kalina stood, hand still firmly on the door as she looked the other over. they thought things were over between them, that kalina had pushed too far, made her feelings too obvious, but here they were anyway. "i'm not feeling good today." emotionally, sure, but physically she was fine. the last thing that kalina wanted was to be beside the person she'd had the biggest crush on in years, pretending it wasn't the loudest thing in her brain. pathetic. "i did say i was sick on the phone, right? i know we had plans, but i just— i think it's best i lay about in bed today."

The first time Neha slowly opened her eyes, all she could feel was cold and pain. Her vision blurred, her ears ringing, head pounding and body aching. She groaned as she tried to look around, trying to reach for something, understand what was happening. She felt a tightness against her chest, vision going in and out as she tried to figure out where she was. She saw a glimpse of her windshield, cracked and shattered, beyond it nothing but white. It took her a moment to realize she was in her car, and then a few more moments to realize she was upside down. She gasped, hands flailing around as she tried to reach for something to support herself, crying out in agony at the pain. Her skin felt like ice, slowly sinking deep under her skin. The ringing in her ear grew louder. Louder. Louder. Until suddenly it all went dark again. Then there was only cold.
When Neha woke again, the first thing the heiress was aware of, was how warm she felt, a stark contrast from the ever consuming cold. The more she came to, the more the room around her came into vision and the brunette blinked in confusion, remembering she'd been in her car last. Her eyes swept around the unfamiliar space, feeling anxiety start to swell up in her chest. She tried to sit up, letting out a sharp gasp of pain the moment she moved, grasping onto the blanket that was covering her. Her head ached from the sudden shift and her eyes squeezed shut, willing the pain to subside as she took deep breaths through her nose. "What the fuck..." she huffed between labored breaths. After giving herself to recover, Neha grit her teeth and took a deep breath, bracing herself as she moved to sit up again. It took a few agonizing seconds but she was finally sat up, peering around the room again. It looked like the inside of some sort of cabin, a small fire crackling steadily in the brick fireplace that sat across from the old, worn sofa she sat upon. Her brows knit together softly, Glancing around to see if anyone else was there. "Hello?" she called out softly, feeling her nerves growing with unease. "Is -- is someone there?"

Josephine was looking at her reflection on the mirror, this was her sixth outfit trial and she was wondering if she should go for something else. Her fixation on her clothes was rather a distraction for what was going to happen in a matter of a couple hours, she knew it just like she knew everything she had tried on was alright for the casual birthday party. After months of dating in secret she and Alex were finally disclosing their relationship in front of all his family, which included her best friend since childhood, and no matter how many times Josephine imagined this moment, she couldn't decide whether her friend was going to accept this or not, or whether she'd be mad they hid this from her this whole time. It was probably all too melodramatic and childish but Josephine couldn't bare the possibility of her friend hating her. "Okay, this is it. No more changing." She said as she went to find Alex. "How do I look?" The brunette posed with her hands on her hips before turning around. "Does it give an I-know-you-already-know-me-but-I'm-coming-as-the-girlfriend-not-just-the-friend vibe? Ugh, doesn't matter anyway, I'm not changing back, I'm ready to go. Whatever will be will be." She gave the man a warm smile.

@heroexxs moved from here
being with val was impossibly easy - despite the tragic chaos that had spun a pretty tangled web before her. the subtle softness that came paired along with the attention with the blonde, had proven itself to provide the safest place to fall. a stark contrast to her ex husband, that made her feel trapped and unworthy. and then there was val - and though there had been a little overlap, melanie couldn't find it in herself to feel bad about it. val had instilled such a gentle happiness, that mel was unwilling to let herself squander. so - she held on. when she pulls her right out of her concentration, she only beams, a warmth pumping through her veins when they other so much as looked at her a certain way. "never," she shook her head, a widening smile tugging across her features, and she's reminded that she would risk it all for val in an instant all over again. "she wants ten chapters to show the publisher," she huffs, leaning back against the headboard, rolling her head in the others direction. "but, i still have a few days - you know how much better i do under pressure," her brows wiggled, leaning over to steal a lingering kiss from the other.
#this formatted so weird so i just moved it. whoops anyway here!#i love them!#c: melanie#thread: melanie & valeria.#heroexxs

two whole weeks in another country for training camp had given niamh a taste of perspective. or maybe more likely a desperation to be back in cassie's orbit. every conversation seemed to only scratch the surface of what needed to be said, but she was feeling a new determination to figure it all out. though, of course, the second cassie opened the door to her place, niamh stood there stunned for a moment, forgetting every speech she'd made up in her head on the twenty-two hour flight. "hey! hi. i'm home. obviously."

@heroexxs based here muse: alethea pierce
it was rare for alethea to find herself out, even more rare to be caught in the arms of a stranger. but maybe times were changing, maybe their luck was turning. the anxiety that usually overwhelmed their mind was softened, and for once they were feeling free. easy. calm. it was nice. maybe it was the alcohol, or the guy in front of her, but she was feeling brave. "i don't usually do this you know." she laughs, arms wrapped around his shoulders as she looks up at him. "but this might be the best night out." ever, but it felt a bit embarrassing to admit that far. and they just hoped he felt the same.
#i just love this gif of jessie so much#alethea: threads#alethea x damian#heroexxs#q#we can also time skip this to them meeting again
