when people refer to canon story-relevant kingdom hearts games as ‘spinoffs’ it makes me sad not only for the obvious reasons i always say but also bc like man i WISH this series had spinoffs. imagine what they could do if they had permission from nomura to truly go off the rails and ignore the greater canon for a second and just do some fun whimsical plotless thing in an alternate universe. imagine a fishing/boating game on destiny islands. kh fighting game. it is an injustice that we have been deprived of kingdom karts. can anyone hear me

Growing up w no Instagram does SOMETHING to a bitch like I really get taken aback by how second nature it is for people to whip out their phones and take pictures of the most mundane things. Not because I judge them for it but bc apart from selfies, pictures w friends, and obligatory pictures on trips I literally forget to take pictures of my life period
#I’m not the kind of girl who’ll be studying at a cafe and thinks to snap a picture of my cute latte art#I’m never somewhere and go Ohhh this would be a good angle…. Thinking about how the entire reason Zane went along with Wu was to try to find out more about his past. Thinkinggg about how he reached his true potential after finding his father's workshop. A big chunk of his character arc in s2 focused on how badly having no family left affected him. Then he found out how father was alive and he was sooo happy... and then his father died. And then Zane died too.

The only sign that they ever existed is a book. A good amount of fans probably don't know who they are, they are never talked about, and almost every member of the server doesn't even know they exist.
This egg didn't have a life, and what little of existence they did have was miserable. They didn't have a name. They didn't have a family. They didn't get to live.
And what were their last words?
"Please know I was here. I was alive. I was somebody. I had hopes, I had ambitions, I had love that I was ready to give. I've accepted my fate. But I'm scared of being forgotten. This book gives me a chance to be remembered. Please don't forget me."

I (Intentionally, I'm nosy!) vaguely spoiled myself on the ending and starting thinking about them and started just bawling and I started doodling this in the hopes it would calm me down but I just kept crying for most of the time I was sketching it 🫶🏾
It's okay though .... No matter what I already thought of a way for them to have a happy ending ✌🏾 it'll take a little while but they'll get there. Also realizing I forgot their grey hairs but I don't wanna edit this 😭
Gal isn't a sorcerer rn and likely won't be for the foreseeable future cuz I've been enjoying traveling as a duo with him, but their mage/sorcerer outfits compliment each other so well I drew it anyways 😭
