Galadriel/Halbrand (Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power) 60 reblogs - 5614 words total.

I didn't read it but it's something about homophobia and racism and misogyny if you like or dislike the ship, i'm not sure which one.

Katara/Aang (Avatar The Last Airbender) 58 comments - 65 reblogs - 796 words.

The arguing actually happened on the Katara/Zuko poll, but it was about this ship. Mostly Zutara shippers complaining about Kataang shippers but i saw maybe 2 kataang shippers in the comments. I repeat: Kataang is on here because it was incredibly controversial on my blog

Laios/Toshiro (Dungeon Meshi) A few comments and reblogs, 228 words out of what I can count + someones 644 word post that was linked to me.

The reason for this is because I jokingly used the tag "shuro has the worst case of allistic disease i've ever seen", because the way he exploded at Laios reminded me of the experiences i've had with allistic people who secretly hate me but never told me. This means I hate asian people and think only white men can be autistic.

Shiro/Keith (Voltron: Legendary Defender) 43 comments

Zim/Dib (Invader Zim) A few comments and an ask but it stopped quickly

I haven't watched Invader Zim, but I allowed it on the premise that Zim is seen as a child (because I don't like adult/child ships obv). But Zim's age is a big debate.

Yugi Mutou/Yami Yugi (Yu-Gi-Oh) Many reblogs saying the same thing about me

I haven't watched the anime. I saw the same guy twice with the same name and tagged it as "selfcest" incase someone had the tag filtered. This singular tag caused multiple comments and reblogs telling me that it's not selfcest and that it's offensive to DID systems to call it selfcest. I almost snapped here, honestly.

Time to vote! Explode my notes if you want, there's multiple good choices to pick from.

Style experimentation feat. zim and dib (rough chronological order). This is the most fun I've had drawing in a long time!! Still kind of in shock over it.

This all started from Two Things: A.) I've been looking at animatics in preparation to make a ✨Portfolio✨, and B.) I saw some fanart that had me making heart eyes and I still can't stop looking at it.

When I first started this invader zim kick a couple months ago, I didn't think it was going to lead me down this path. I thought I was going to draw some of the characters in "my style", and eventually move onto something else. I don't know HOW it ended up being this sort of retrospective muse for me, where I'm challenging myself and trying new things. Maybe iz isn't the cause, maybe this would have happened regardless of what characters I was drawing. But here we are.

And I am so so so happy for it because I USED to draw like this all the time!!! This is what my sketchbook used to look like!! And somehow I just?? Forgot? That I could draw this way. That there wasn't anything stopping me. And that it would be so FUN. You can literally draw, and make the characters less detailed, but simultaneously more exaggerated and expressive, AND you can make more drawings in less time?? Ive always been a quantity over quality person when it comes to drawing, and i think its the animator in me that loves drawing like that. I was drawing all day yesterday. I didn't want to put the pencil down, and it's been a long time since I've felt that way about drawing. I had so much fun and I don't want to draw any other way ever again...That's just how I feel right now at least.

I swear, I probably come off as the most wishy washy person. First I messed around with zims design multiple times, now I'm inking stuff, now I'm drawing cartoonier. THIS IS NEW FOR ME I SWEAR... its been a long long time since ive let myself draw this way. I guess I just hadn't realized how much I was restricting myself.

Anyway, rough chronological order. The first adult dib page (second to last image) was actually the first one I drew. You can tell from the last page that I used the shapes n such from the kid dib on the older dib to make it look more like him. The big forehead is actually pretty crucial lol

I like it when in shows (other media) you meet this Alien and at first you're like "Why is this another Autistic behavior Alien?" And you wonder if you're being bullied or not.

Then you meet the other aliens, and you realize this alien was just an Autistic Alien, and you see they're not the butt of a joke, and their struggles are communicating with others, and they get tips on social cues. And now this relatable Alien is now rep.

That's always nice. I like it when the space aliens are autistic.

Some Zib notes and hcs under the cut!!

- They're all the same age in the height chart (adult, late 20's). Zib is shorter than Dib due to developing more like an Zim. His proportions are more Irken-like too, which was more apparent when I'd drawn the initial sketches.

- I know Zim Number 2 canonically got wiped from existence but uhhhhh I am going to ignore that in lieu of speculating on how his relationship with Zib could've changed over years of being stuck together in the Zimvoid.

- I think Zib's feelings towards all the Zims are pretty complicated, particularly as the years progress and Zim's influence slowly takes over his mind more and more. The parts of him that are still Dib see Zim Number 2 as his..."""favorite"""??? Or rather, the one he can stand to be around the most??? I think he finds Zim 2's efforts to be one of the ultimate Zims almost endearing.

- But the parts of him that are more Zim slowly grow to hate the other Zims. At first, it isn't a problem. He's seen as the "Ultimate Zim" after all. But as the other Zims, 2 in particular, start climbing the social hierarchy of the Zimvoid and becoming more impressive in battle, it irritates the Zim parts of Zib in increasing amounts as time passes and he slowly begins to make increasingly impossible demands of the Zims in the Zimvoid.

- Being fused with a PAK, Zib will live longer than any human ever could, but he's incredibly sickly, and as he ages, he experiences an ever-increasing amount of pain and fatigue as his body struggles to maintain his new semi-Irken body chemistry, organs, and bone structure.
