Not a request or anything but, I hope that you've been doing OK despite being busy deal with stuff, take as much time as you need to recuperate! While I do enjoy your writing and interpretations of these characters and story, your mental wellness is much more preferred than that.

Scrolling through these and coming back two years later haha (I'm so sorry) has really brightened me up and made me want to try jumping back in and give this fandom another go.

I am so appreciative of you & your kind words and support, if you're still here and see this- thank you with all my heart. The past two years were a lot of ups and downs (the downs were what got me) that I had to focus on life around me and my loved ones. So reading support, still seeing notifications, really warms my heart.

While I'm in a low (again) it's kind of fitting to come back on almost the anniversary of this blog and first getting into this fandom and trying to write for it again.

Sometimes I think Dan and Phil are totally platonic besties and then other times I’m convinced they fuck on the daily. I think they do it on purpose and it’s honestly iconic.

kind of the best thing is that they are that and everything in between. you can tell they just like being around each other. they've made content together for 15 years and the large majority of it was done in the strictly platonic sense for their audience. and they were still having so much fun with it. we're in the 'we know you know' era now so we get to see flashes of different dynamics they have, but they absolutely have more we Don't get to see bc they're not for us.

they like each other. stupidly fond of each other. spending time together doesn't feel exhausting. they're best friends and each others' harshest critics while being the biggest hypeman and also safe space.

dnp's relationship with us, their audience, always has been and always will be different than any other content creators. part of it is how they accumulated it, but another part is just the massive history we have with them. they Get us. they Know us. they're silly goofy sarcastic guys who love us and hate us sometimes. theyre grateful but careful too. they like to rile us up, just like they do each other. it's a love language, teasing, and we've shown positive responses to it over the years. i like to say that my relationship with dnp is antagonistic sometimes--cause i know they're pushing my buttons on purpose. and ykw? it's fun! it's fun for us and it's fun for them because they have the control. i know anything they let out is cause they chose to let it out because they Know how we are. so yes they absolutely adore messing with us. we're a funny bunch.

Hello! So like I've been having that Lights, Camera, Sing Your Sins AU rent free in my head for a while, and thought this up.

Since the prisoners weren't allowed to meet at first, they could hear the others practicing their singing nearby/next door. Some are awed by how passionate they put into their songs (eg: Haruka & Shidou), how into it (eg: Fuuta & Kotoko), how emotional (eg: Kazui), etc. This allowed the prisoners to imagine what the others are like.

...Then there's Mikoto with Red going all out with their MeMe song and it stunned everyone into silent fear until the prisoners meet him and go "YOU SANG THAT!?!"

I've been going so so crazy over this omg!!

No matter how big the facilities are, I'd imagine it would be difficult to keep ten people undergoing a full filming process completely separate from each other. Though they don't actually see each other, they overhear recording booth sessions while while walking down the hall. They spot unique outfits and props in the costume closet. They hear crew members giving Jackalope weird updates ("sir, where do you want the massive tarot cards when they're finished?" "the order of thousands of fake flowers has arrived" "we ran out of medieval outfits" etc.) They see teams lugging around massive set pieces from one stage to another. They hear a few hushed rehearsals from behind dressing room doors.

Mahiru totally tears up listening to Kazui. Meanwhile Kazui is blown away by Mahiru's enthusiasm and speed. Yuno thinks After Pain sounds really fun. Amane is awed at the other songs, (she's never even heard rock music before). Kotoko finds herself singing bits of Weakness. Muu is moved by Shidou. Fuuta is torn between being jealous of Mikoto's song and excited there's someone else with some yelling.

And so of course, the prisoners go crazy trying to piece together predictions about their upcoming cellmates. One the experiment begins, they subconsciously start matching up the voices they remembered hearing with their expectations. I think Shidou, Amane, and Kotoko would surprise people the most -- it seems hard hard to get a day-to-day read on them from their songs alone. Fuuta is simultaneously exactly what people were expecting and nothing like what they thought. Everyone's ideas of Mahiru were spot on. Haruka sang so confidently that the group is surprised to hear him stutter so often. Anyone who heard a bit of Meme is shocked when they meet Mikoto and make the connection. When asked about it, he just shrugs and laughs innocently, which only makes it harder to believe. Fuuta, excited to find someone else who did a rock song, is sorely disappointed at first.

this is going to sound silly but im actually really thankful to all of u on enstars tumblr mutual circle for making me feel comfortable sharign my thoughts and opinions and takes on here... i get so shy sharing my thoughts in writing i get really severe writers block which gets REALLY in the way of schoolwork and its part of why im taking a semester off because it kept making me fail my classes. but taking part in conversations with u guys is making me feel a lot more confident with this stuff bc its with ppl i like abt something im crazy abt. so even if we've never ever spoken directly or we're not even mutuals i love u guys 🫶🫶🫶

Aaaaa it's technically not my birthday anymore now, but it's been the best birthday ever. Perfect, really. Thanks to my wonderful partner and my friends (especially my best friend) who've gotten me where I am now 🥺

As part of my birthday festivities my partner and bff watched ROTS together over stream, then my partner and I watched the finale of the clone wars together and UUUGGGHH. It was their first time ever and MY first time since the first time (so like. Two years ago.) And man...

I will never ever get over star wars. And Rex? Will always be my forever husband. Ever since then I've been completely devoted to him, head over heels. Even if other f/os take center stage once in a while, he's always the one I come back to. I've thought before that there's something SACRED about the way I feel for him, about the passion and work and time I've put into his story with Brea. And tomorrow I'm getting a whole ass TATTOO representing him. ON MY BODY FOREVER AND EVER.

He's always gonna be my captain, and there's nothing I would do differently about that.
