Shogun (Ep 7)
Yabu is the most relatable character, frustrated by everyone's mind games when he just wants to get paid and get drunk.
It's like you just want to work but gets dragged into your colleagues and bosses office politics because they want promotions.

Best fight scene in Andor episode 7, for sure.
Accused by office rival Supervisor Blevin of breaking the rules, Dedra Meero ends up turning the tables.
Seriously – the understated dialogue and acting is perfection in this scene and the facial expressions just… 🧑‍🍳 💋. And it’s just one of many cracking scenes in episode 7, which is mostly just… character driven dialogue like this but nonetheless a top-three episode for me.
Who needs lightsabers when you have this kind of duelling?

The last one cracks me up every time. If it were a physical fight sequence, this would be the moment when she spits into his bludgeoned face and stubs out a cigarette on his forehead.

Hiroshi and Tyrese are REAL businessMEN and are visiting from the Kyoto offices this week. If you attempt to interact with them, or even make eye contact, you will void all banked PTO and must put your hand in the BOX for 20 minutes per offense.

The Mandalorian S3E5
The management vs employee dilemma we see everywhere in real life.
The Captain not only wants to help the planet because it’s the right thing to do but because he knows the pirate attack is not an isolated incident, and something bigger is at play which will affect them all in the long run.
The Colonel knows that manpower and resources require time and money to assemble. They’re already stretched thin across the galaxy with more planets joining the New Republic for them to protect which takes precedence.
Both of the Captain and Colonel are right. Nothing is as simple as we think it is.
I remember reading the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn where Leia struggles with the politics of the New Republic that even Han Solo is frustrated that he feels the old times of the Rebel Alliance was so much simpler.

This time, his question was essentially, “If you had to choose between the death of one person you’ve never met or the destruction of all the works of Shakespeare (or another author you prefer), what would your choice be?”
Everyone was being flippant for the most part (i.e., “If I save the person, no kid will be forced to read Shakespeare ever again!”) until Carrie chimed in and said, “Shakespeare teaches us more about humanity that saving one life would, so I would save the plays.” This created a very awkward silence and made several people visibly uncomfortable. Personally, I thought it was a theoretical discussion (and was scrolling on my phone anyway) so didn’t take it too seriously. Steve seemed to feel the same at the time and debated with her a bit, but no one else said anything related to it for the rest of lunch and most everyone excused themselves quickly. I thought it was awkward but just one of those things that would blow over.
…which it didn’t. People started avoiding Carrie or being very curt with her almost immediately (like, that very afternoon). It’s not really the vibe in our office to email each other since we’re so small, but most everyone started emailing her when normally they would just approach her or speak to her over her cubicle wall. I honestly can’t tell if Carrie even minds the different treatment, but it’s so pointed I have to think she’s noticed.

Once again reminded I live an incredibly painful experience where general society loves to not hold neurotypical ppl accountable for their weird ass social behaviors and ppl like me are told to “suck it up and play nice” or else I somehow become the bad guy. One side always gets excused and the other side always has to adjust and “be normal”. When I get worked up, I’m just “being dramatic”. I think we are lucky I haven’t started hitting ppl with cars and ripping heads off instead:)

The Old Dog, New Tricks (Ep 8)
That one colleague who is oblivious to office politics. 😂
Wish I could stay "ignorant" and "neutral" like him but somehow I always get dragged, making my work difficult. 😪
