Molham Aref, CEO & Founder of RelationalAI
New Post has been published on https://thedigitalinsider.com/molham-aref-ceo-founder-of-relationalai/
Molham Aref, CEO & Founder of RelationalAI
Molham is the Chief Executive Officer of RelationalAI. He has more than 30 years of experience in leading organizations that develop and implement high-value machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions across various industries. Prior to RelationalAI he was CEO of LogicBlox and Predictix (now Infor), CEO of Optimi (now Ericsson), and co-founder of Brickstream (now FLIR). Molham also held senior leadership positions at HNC Software (now FICO) and Retek (now Oracle).
RelationalAI brings together decades of experience in industry, technology, and product development to advance the first and only real cloud-native knowledge graph data management system to power the next generation of intelligent data applications.
As the founder and CEO of RelationalAI, what was the initial vision that drove you to create the company, and how has that vision evolved over the past seven years?
The initial vision was centered around understanding the impact of knowledge and semantics on the successful deployment of AI. Before we got to where we are today with AI, much of the focus was on machine learning (ML), which involved analyzing vast amounts of data to create succinct models that described behaviors, such as fraud detection or consumer shopping patterns. Over time, it became clear that to deploy AI effectively, there was a need to represent knowledge in a way that was both accessible to AI and capable of simplifying complex systems.
This vision has since evolved with deep learning innovations and more recently, language models and generative AI emerging. These advancements have not changed what our company is doing, but have increased the relevance and importance of their approach, particularly in making AI more accessible and practical for enterprise use.
A recent PwC report estimates that AI could contribute up to $15.7 trillion to the global economy by 2030. In your experience, what are the primary factors that will drive this substantial economic impact, and how should businesses prepare to capitalize on these opportunities?
The impact of AI has already been significant and will undoubtedly continue to skyrocket. One of the key factors driving this economic impact is the automation of intellectual labor.
Tasks like reading, summarizing, and analyzing documents – tasks often performed by highly paid professionals – can now be (mostly) automated, making these services much more affordable and accessible.
To capitalize on these opportunities, businesses need to invest in platforms that can support the data and compute requirements of running AI workloads. It’s important that they can scale up and down cost-effectively on a given platform, while also investing in AI literacy among employees so they can understand how to use these models effectively and efficiently.
As AI continues to integrate into various industries, what do you see as the biggest challenges enterprises face in adopting AI effectively? How does data play a role in overcoming these challenges?
One of the biggest challenges I see is ensuring that industry-specific knowledge is accessible to AI. What we are seeing today is that many enterprises have knowledge dispersed across databases, documents, spreadsheets, and code. This knowledge is often opaque to AI models and does not allow organizations to maximize the value that they could be getting.
A significant challenge the industry needs to overcome is managing and unifying this knowledge, sometimes referred to as semantics, to make it accessible to AI systems. By doing this, AI can be more effective in specific industries and within the enterprise as they can then leverage their unique knowledge base.
You’ve mentioned that the future of generative AI adoption will require a combination of techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic architectures. Can you elaborate on why these combined approaches are necessary and what benefits they bring?
It’s going to take different techniques like GraphRAG and agentic architectures to create AI-driven systems that are not only more accurate but also capable of handling complex information retrieval and processing tasks.
Many are finally starting to realize that we are going to need more than one technique as we continue to evolve with AI but rather leveraging a combination of models and tools. One of those is agentic architectures, where you have agents with different capabilities that are helping tackle a complex problem. This technique breaks it up into pieces that you farm out to different agents to achieve the results you want.
There’s also retrieval augmented generation (RAG) that helps us extract information when using language models. When we first started working with RAG, we were able to answer questions whose answers could be found in one part of a document. However, we quickly found out that the language models have difficulty answering harder questions, especially when you have information spread out in various locations in long documents and across documents. So this is where GraphRAG comes into play. By leveraging language models to create knowledge graph representations of information, it can then access the information we need to achieve the results we need and reduce the chances of errors or hallucinations.
Data unification is a critical topic in driving AI value within organizations. Can you explain why unified data is so important for AI, and how it can transform decision-making processes?
Unified data ensures that all the knowledge an enterprise has – whether it’s in documents, spreadsheets, code, or databases – is accessible to AI systems. This unification means that AI can effectively leverage the specific knowledge unique to an industry, sub-industry, or even a single enterprise, making the AI more relevant and accurate in its outputs.
Without data unification, AI systems can only operate on fragmented pieces of knowledge, leading to incomplete or inaccurate insights. By unifying data, we make sure that AI has a complete and coherent picture, which is pivotal for transforming decision-making processes and driving real value within organizations.
How does RelationalAI’s approach to data, particularly with its relational knowledge graph system, help enterprises achieve better decision-making outcomes?
RelationalAI’s data-centric architecture, particularly our relational knowledge graph system, directly integrates knowledge with data, making it both declarative and relational. This approach contrasts with traditional architectures where knowledge is embedded in code, complicating access and understanding for non-technical users.
In today’s competitive business environment, fast and informed decision-making is imperative. However, many organizations struggle because their data lacks the necessary context. Our relational knowledge graph system unifies data and knowledge, providing a comprehensive view that allows humans and AI to make more accurate decisions.
For example, consider a financial services firm managing investment portfolios. The firm needs to analyze market trends, client risk profiles, regulatory changes, and economic indicators. Our knowledge graph system can rapidly synthesize these complex, interrelated factors, enabling the firm to make timely and well-informed investment decisions that maximize returns while managing risk.
This approach also reduces complexity, enhances portability, and minimizes dependence on specific technology vendors, providing long-term strategic flexibility in decision-making.
The role of the Chief Data Officer (CDO) is growing in importance. How do you see the responsibilities of CDOs evolving with the rise of AI, and what key skills will be essential for them moving forward?
The role of the CDO is rapidly evolving, especially with the rise of AI. Traditionally, the responsibilities that now fall under the CDO were managed by the CIO or CTO, focusing primarily on technology operations or the technology produced by the company. However, as data has become one of the most valuable assets for modern enterprises, the CDO’s role has become distinct and crucial.
The CDO is responsible for ensuring the privacy, accessibility, and monetization of data across the organization. As AI continues to integrate into business operations, the CDO will play a pivotal role in managing the data that fuels AI models, ensuring that this data is clean, accessible, and used ethically.
Key skills for CDOs moving forward will include a deep understanding of data governance, AI technologies, and business strategy. They will need to work closely with other departments, empowering teams that traditionally may not have had direct access to data, such as finance, marketing, and HR, to leverage data-driven insights. This ability to democratize data across the organization will be critical for driving innovation and maintaining a competitive edge.
What role does RelationalAI play in supporting CDOs and their teams in managing the increasing complexity of data and AI integration within organizations?
RelationalAI plays a fundamental role in supporting CDOs by providing the tools and frameworks necessary to manage the complexity of data and AI integration effectively. With the rise of AI, CDOs are tasked with ensuring that data is not only accessible and secure but also that it is leveraged to its fullest potential across the organization.
We help CDOs by offering a data-centric approach that brings knowledge directly to the data, making it accessible and understandable to non-technical stakeholders. This is particularly important as CDOs work to put data into the hands of those in the organization who might not traditionally have had access, such as marketing, finance, and even administrative teams. By unifying data and simplifying its management, RelationalAI enables CDOs to empower their teams, drive innovation, and ensure that their organizations can fully capitalize on the opportunities presented by AI.
RelationalAI emphasizes a data-centric foundation for building intelligent applications. Can you provide examples of how this approach has led to significant efficiencies and savings for your clients?
Our data-centric approach contrasts with the traditional application-centric model, where business logic is often embedded in code, making it difficult to manage and scale. By centralizing knowledge within the data itself and making it declarative and relational, we’ve helped clients significantly reduce the complexity of their systems, leading to greater efficiencies, fewer errors, and ultimately, substantial cost savings.
For instance, Blue Yonder leveraged our technology as a Knowledge Graph Coprocessor inside of Snowflake, which provided the semantic understanding and reasoning capabilities needed to predict disruptions and proactively drive mitigation actions. This approach allowed them to reduce their legacy code by over 80% while offering a scalable and extensible solution.
Similarly, EY Financial Services experienced a dramatic improvement by slashing their legacy code by 90% and reducing processing times from over a month to just several hours. These outcomes highlight how our approach enables businesses to be more agile and responsive to changing market conditions, all while avoiding the pitfalls of being locked into specific technologies or vendors.
Given your experience leading AI-driven companies, what do you believe are the most critical factors for successfully implementing AI at scale in an organization?
From my experience, the most significant factors for successfully implementing AI at scale are ensuring you have a strong foundation of data and knowledge and that your employees, particularly those who are more experienced, take the time to learn and become comfortable with AI tools.
It’s also important not to fall into the trap of extreme emotional reactions – either excessive hype or deep cynicism – around new AI technologies. Instead, I recommend a steady, consistent approach to adopting and integrating AI, focusing on incremental improvements rather than expecting a silver bullet solution.
Thank you for the great interview, readers who wish to learn more should visit RelationalAI.

On Balancing Life and Work To Home Interiors: 6 Suggestions
Every new homeowner faces the problem of juggling the various functions of their apartment. For a work-from-home employee, the interior design had to convey the coziness and elegance of a desired home.
Tumblr media
1.Give your bedrooms a touch of luxury and personality. The private areas of the house are more varied in style and contain more unique accents. The primary bedroom's exquisitely textured Schumacher grasscloth wallcovering, which envelops the space, and the 1940s Danish mohair sofa, which cheerfully offers a pop of color next to the ancient rug from Nola Rugs, are guaranteed to captivate anybody searching for unique bedroom ideas.
2. Use vibrant and imaginative space design. It takes a little daring, but as Hattie demonstrates, making the most of limited space is crucial, especially in a part-time household. An excellent illustration can be seen in the great room's seating area, where a teal sofa and two cream armchairs complement the room's artworks in complementary hues.
3. Make sure everyone is settled in comfortably. Since the homeowner occasionally needs to accommodate 12 coworkers around the Villa Vici dining table for meetings, a dining room design for this area of the great room had to function as a home office idea. An antique sideboard from Fireside Antiques serves as a more conventional and homely setting. Installing a cove smart devices helps even more secure and feeling homely to be productive at work.
4. Include fun and eccentric elements. Remember the entertaining aspects. While it may be a small alcove setup, the designer's decision to include a home bar adds a level of sophistication to the pied-a-terre and lends a stylish and enjoyable element for entertaining guests as well as for private moments spent with family.
5. Make a statement with your entrance. The designer took the foyer far beyond the concept of a lock-up-and-leave with the addition of the luxurious gold wallcovering, an antique runner, a mirror, and a 19th-century commode from Dop Antiques, which was topped with a lamp from Visual Comfort. Now, this is a quaint and inviting area.
6. In multipurpose areas, go for a simple kitchen design. Keeping your kitchen ideas simple and uncluttered is a good idea in an open-concept living, kitchen, and dining area, especially in an apartment like this where there are some eye-catching, highly ornamental features. A minimalist white kitchen maintains flair without taking away from the apartment's corporate office aspect.
A blend of warmth and modernity, together with a hint of antiques, were the desired aesthetics, but it was also important that the interiors complement the building's unique architectural style.

[...] During the early stages of the war, the army gave sweeping approval for officers to adopt Lavender’s kill lists, with no requirement to thoroughly check why the machine made those choices or to examine the raw intelligence data on which they were based. One source stated that human personnel often served only as a “rubber stamp” for the machine’s decisions, adding that, normally, they would personally devote only about “20 seconds” to each target before authorizing a bombing — just to make sure the Lavender-marked target is male. This was despite knowing that the system makes what are regarded as “errors” in approximately 10 percent of cases, and is known to occasionally mark individuals who have merely a loose connection to militant groups, or no connection at all. Moreover, the Israeli army systematically attacked the targeted individuals while they were in their homes — usually at night while their whole families were present — rather than during the course of military activity. According to the sources, this was because, from what they regarded as an intelligence standpoint, it was easier to locate the individuals in their private houses. Additional automated systems, including one called “Where’s Daddy?” also revealed here for the first time, were used specifically to track the targeted individuals and carry out bombings when they had entered their family’s residences.
In case you didn't catch that: the IOF made an automated system that intentionally marks entire families as targets for bombings, and then they called it "Where's Daddy."
Like what is there even to say anymore? It's so depraved you almost think you have to be misreading it...
“We were not interested in killing [Hamas] operatives only when they were in a military building or engaged in a military activity,” A., an intelligence officer, told +972 and Local Call. “On the contrary, the IDF bombed them in homes without hesitation, as a first option. It’s much easier to bomb a family’s home. The system is built to look for them in these situations.” The Lavender machine joins another AI system, “The Gospel,” about which information was revealed in a previous investigation by +972 and Local Call in November 2023, as well as in the Israeli military’s own publications. A fundamental difference between the two systems is in the definition of the target: whereas The Gospel marks buildings and structures that the army claims militants operate from, Lavender marks people — and puts them on a kill list.  In addition, according to the sources, when it came to targeting alleged junior militants marked by Lavender, the army preferred to only use unguided missiles, commonly known as “dumb” bombs (in contrast to “smart precision bombs), which can destroy entire buildings on top of their occupants and cause significant casualties. “You don’t want to waste expensive bombs on unimportant people — it’s very expensive for the country and there’s a shortage [of those bombs],” said C., one of the intelligence officers. Another source said that they had personally authorized the bombing of “hundreds” of private homes of alleged junior operatives marked by Lavender, with many of these attacks killing civilians and entire families as “collateral damage.” In an unprecedented move, according to two of the sources, the army also decided during the first weeks of the war that, for every junior Hamas operative that Lavender marked, it was permissible to kill up to 15 or 20 civilians; in the past, the military did not authorize any “collateral damage” during assassinations of low-ranking militants. The sources added that, in the event that the target was a senior Hamas official with the rank of battalion or brigade commander, the army on several occasions authorized the killing of more than 100 civilians in the assassination of a single commander.

Can AI widen customer and employee engagement gap
New Post has been published on https://thedigitalinsider.com/can-ai-widen-customer-and-employee-engagement-gap/
Can AI widen customer and employee engagement gap
Tumblr media
AI has the potential to both widen and narrow the gap between employees and customers and ultimately cause brand impact, depending on how it is implemented and utilized within an organization. When I say widening the gap I am referencing interactions being dehumanized and overly robotic.
Factors that could widen the employee-customer gap
1. Overreliance on AI systems: If organizations become overly reliant on AI systems for customer interactions, it could lead to a lack of human touch and empathy, which customers often value in their experiences.
2. Impersonal interactions: AI-powered chatbots, virtual assistants, and automated response systems can sometimes provide generic or impersonal responses, which may not effectively address the specific needs and concerns of customers.
3. Data privacy and trust issues: Customers may have concerns about the privacy and security of their personal data when interacting with AI systems, which could create a sense of distrust and distance between them and the organization’s employees.
Factors that could narrow the employee-customer gap
1. Enhanced customer insights: AI can analyze vast amounts of customer data, including behavior patterns, preferences, and feedback, providing employees with valuable insights to better understand and cater to customer needs.
2. Improved efficiency and responsiveness: AI-powered systems can automate routine tasks, freeing up employees to focus on more complex and personalized customer interactions, potentially improving response times and overall customer experience.
3. Personalized recommendations and experiences: AI can help organizations deliver personalized product recommendations, tailored marketing campaigns, and customized experiences based on individual customer preferences and behaviors.
4. Augmented employee capabilities: AI can augment employee skills and knowledge by providing them with real-time insights, recommendations, and decision-support tools, enhancing their ability to provide better customer service and support.
To ensure that AI narrows the employee-customer gap, organizations must strike a balance between leveraging AI capabilities and maintaining human involvement in customer interactions. Effective training, clear communication, and a customer-centric culture are crucial to ensure that AI is used as a tool to enhance the overall customer experience rather than creating a barrier between employees and customers.
The implementation of AI across various aspects of an organization’s operations can have significant implications for both brand perception and customer perception. Here are some potential implications to consider:
Tumblr media
Brand perception
1. Innovation and technological leadership: The use of AI can position a brand as innovative, forward-thinking, and at the forefront of technological advancements. This can enhance the brand’s reputation and appeal, particularly among tech-savvy customers.
2. Efficiency and reliability: If AI is implemented effectively to streamline processes, improve response times, and enhance the overall customer experience, it can reinforce the brand’s perception as efficient, reliable, and customer-centric.
3. Privacy and security concerns: Customers may have concerns about the privacy and security of their data when interacting with AI systems. If these concerns are not addressed transparently and effectively, it could damage the brand’s reputation and erode customer trust.
customer-centric Some customers may perceive the widespread use of AI as a replacement for human interactions, which could negatively impact the brand’s perception, particularly in sectors where personal connections are highly valued.
Customer perception
1. Personalization and customization: AI can enable organizations to deliver highly personalized experiences by analyzing customer data and tailoring products, services, and interactions accordingly. This can enhance customer perception and satisfaction.
2. Convenience and accessibility: AI-powered chatbots, virtual assistants, and self-service portals can improve customer convenience by providing 24/7 support and accessibility, potentially improving customer perception and loyalty.
3. Speed and efficiency: AI can streamline processes and automate tasks, leading to faster response times and more efficient service delivery. This can positively impact customer perception, especially in industries where speed and efficiency are highly valued.
4. Consistency and quality: AI systems can help ensure consistent and high-quality customer experiences by standardizing processes and reducing human errors. However, if not implemented correctly, AI could also introduce new inconsistencies or errors, negatively affecting customer perception.
5. Privacy and trust concerns: Customers may have concerns about the use of their data by AI systems, particularly if they perceive a lack of transparency or control over how their information is used. This could erode customer trust and negatively impact their perception of the brand.
To mitigate potential negative implications and leverage the benefits of AI, organizations should:
1. Clearly communicate their AI strategies and policies to customers, addressing privacy and security concerns transparently.
2. Implement robust data governance and ethical AI practices to build trust and maintain customer privacy.
3. Ensure AI systems are designed with a human-centric approach, maintaining a balance between automation and human interaction where appropriate.
4. Continuously monitor customer feedback and adapt AI implementations to address any emerging concerns or perception issues. By proactively addressing potential brand and customer perception implications, organizations can effectively harness the power of AI while maintaining a positive brand image and fostering customer trust and loyalty.
Tumblr media
Creating a comprehensive marketing plan for the rollout of AI across your organization requires a strategic approach that addresses both internal and external stakeholders. Here are some thoughts:
1. Define your AI strategy and objectives: Clearly articulate your organization’s vision and goals for implementing AI solutions. Identify the specific areas or processes where AI will be deployed and the expected benefits (e.g., improved efficiency, enhanced customer experience, cost savings).
2. Conduct an internal assessment: Evaluate your organization’s readiness for AI adoption, including infrastructure, data availability, and employee skills.   – Identify potential challenges or resistance points that may arise during the rollout. Develop a change management plan to address concerns and facilitate a smooth transition.
3. Develop a communication plan: Craft clear and compelling messaging that highlights the benefits of AI while addressing potential concerns about job security, data privacy, and ethical considerations. Create a range of communication materials (presentations, videos, infographics) tailored to different audiences (employees, customers, partners, investors). Establish a cadence for regular updates and progress reports throughout the rollout.
4. Build an internal AI ambassador program: Identify influential employees across different departments or teams to act as AI ambassadors. Provide comprehensive training and resources to these ambassadors, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to evangelize AI within the organization. Leverage their influence and credibility to build excitement and buy-in among their peers.
5. Develop a customer education and engagement strategy: Create educational content (blog posts, whitepapers, webinars) to help customers understand the role of AI in enhancing their experiences.  Organize customer events, demos, or roadshows to showcase AI capabilities and address any concerns or misconceptions.  Encourage customer feedback and input to continuously improve the AI solutions and ensure they meet evolving needs.
6. Engage with industry influencers and thought leaders: Identify and collaborate with influential individuals or organizations in your industry who are respected voices in AI and emerging technologies.  Invite them to contribute to your content, participate in events, or endorse your AI initiatives. Leverage their credibility and reach to build awareness and trust among your target audience.
7. Measure and optimize: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of your AI marketing efforts (e.g., website traffic, social media engagement, lead generation, customer satisfaction).  Continuously monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement or adjustment. Incorporate customer and employee feedback to refine your messaging, content, and tactics as needed.
8. Celebrate milestones and successes: Recognize and showcase the achievements and positive impact of your AI rollout, both internally and externally.  Share customer success stories, employee testimonials, and quantifiable results to reinforce the value of AI and maintain momentum.
By following this comprehensive approach, you can create a well-rounded marketing plan that builds awareness, generates excitement, and addresses potential concerns about the AI rollout across your organization. Remember to remain agile and adapt your plan as needed based on feedback and evolving market conditions.

Psssst! Hey! Yes, you! We need to talk about clubs:
Using the Clubs for Immersive Gameplay
Of all the systems that Sims 4 has, the club feature is probably one of my favourites (Restaurants are a close second, but they're not why we're here today!) Clubs are one of the easiest ways to increase your immersion when you play and make the random townies that show up on community lots just a tiny bit less random.
The Basics
Often, people are mostly concerned with the groups their active sims are in. You might already have a club to keep track of your sims' closest friends, study group, or baby daddies, we don't judge here.
Clubs are also a great way to automate what you want your sim to be doing with less micromanaging, but for immersion, we're actually more interested in clubs for the sims you don't (or rarely) play.
WTF are the neighbours doing?
Most of the pre-made clubs are kinda meh. I prefer to add my own so I can make my community lots just a bit more lively and make sure people's activities make just a tiny bit of sense because the autonomy in this game is not great. These are just for inspiration based on clubs I often add to my own game:
A group of teens who meet at the retail clothing store to try on clothes and gossip about Nancy's nose job or whatever.
A local bowling league (complete with uniforms) who meet and bowl - just don't fuck with The Jesus.
An HOA of Karens who meet at the park to clean, raise property values, and be mean to people.
Geeks and gamers who meet at the local arcade to awkwardly flirt over pizza.
Comedians who meet at the local comedy club - you can even use the club doors to make a VIP backroom only for the performers.
Sports teams - such as a basket team who meets at a local basket court, or a swim team who meets at the local pool (you can even give them tiny matching speedos!)
Scouts! The scout feature is cute but it's a rabbit hole, boo! But you can make a Scouts club, complete with uniforms, and have them show up in parks where they can do various activities and work on their badges. Add a teen or two to supervise the younglings, their parents will be so proud, aww.
A sorority or fraternity in university who meet up at the local bar in matching varsity jackets to make all the other students feel inferior.
A group of old ladies who meet at the park to knit or cross-stitch and brag about the accomplishments of their descendants.
A "business" club, usually CEOs, lawyers and such, who meet in fancy bars to hold important business meetings and probably commit white-collar crimes, so predictable.
If you have a sim with an office/work from home job and you'd like to pretend they actually go to work, you can make an office building and a group of "coworkers" who'll show up to drink coffee, chat, and work on computers next to them in the office. It'll even simulate rotating desk assignments for an instant capitalist hellscape!
The possibilities are endless, and I find the club feature really useful to add little interesting scenarios to the background of my gameplay.
Thanks to SQOTD for inspiring this!

A new investigation by +972 Magazine and Local Call reveals that the Israeli army has developed an artificial intelligence-based program known as “Lavender,” unveiled here for the first time. According to six Israeli intelligence officers, who have all served in the army during the current war on the Gaza Strip and had first-hand involvement with the use of AI to generate targets for assassination, Lavender has played a central role in the unprecedented bombing of Palestinians, especially during the early stages of the war. In fact, according to the sources, its influence on the military’s operations was such that they essentially treated the outputs of the AI machine “as if it were a human decision.”
During the early stages of the war, the army gave sweeping approval for officers to adopt Lavender’s kill lists, with no requirement to thoroughly check why the machine made those choices or to examine the raw intelligence data on which they were based.
The Lavender machine joins another AI system, “The Gospel,” about which information was revealed in a previous investigation by +972 and Local Call in November 2023, as well as in the Israeli military’s own publications. A fundamental difference between the two systems is in the definition of the target: whereas The Gospel marks buildings and structures that the army claims militants operate from, Lavender marks people — and puts them on a kill list. In addition, according to the sources, when it came to targeting alleged junior militants marked by Lavender, the army preferred to only use unguided missiles, commonly known as “dumb” bombs (in contrast to “smart” precision bombs), which can destroy entire buildings on top of their occupants and cause significant casualties. “You don’t want to waste expensive bombs on unimportant people — it’s very expensive for the country and there’s a shortage [of those bombs],” said C., one of the intelligence officers. Another source said that they had personally authorized the bombing of “hundreds” of private homes of alleged junior operatives marked by Lavender, with many of these attacks killing civilians and entire families as “collateral damage.”
Remember, the Israeli occupation government considers all men over the age of 16 to be Hamas operatives hence why they've claimed to have killed over 9,000 of them (which matches the number of Palestinian men killed according to the Ministry of Health). So, when the article speaks of 'low level' or 'high level militants' they're likely speaking of civilians.
If Israel knew who Hamas fighters are, Oct 7th wouldn't have caught them off guard and they wouldn't still be fighting the Palestinian resistance every single day.
