So um, in light of my last post I was inspired to look into other dsmp people's ages because I feel like we don’t really think about it too often and oh does it make things interesting…

Just for reference and consideration, here are some United States Legal Age Minimums:

Drive: 16-18

Adult: 18-21

Vote: 18

Drink Alcohol: 21

Political Office: 25 (Representative) 30 (Senator) 35 (President)

Military: 17-18

Also Note: On average the brain is scientifically not fully developed until age 25 - and oh wouldn't you know it 90% of the server fall under that, meaning no wonder we have a bunch of wars their prefrontal cortex isn't fully developed and wouldn't you know it that part of the brain is responsible for regulating attention, behavior, and emotion as well as the processing that Actions Have Consequences... huh whelp that makes sense.

Anyways… age data is below (I didn't do everyone nor every event - nobody got time for that ;D... I didn't have time for this to begin with lol...) But I specifically want to highlight that not only was Dream 21 from Jan-Aug of his Imprisonment, but Sam was also 21 till Jun, and Quackity was literally 20 while he was daily torturing Dream... 20?! They were roughly a year apart, all of them so close. Like can you imagine, treating your peer like that? Sam is like a couple months older than Dream and that's it. Quackity can't even drink legally in the United States. That's insane...

Forever 30 Sneak Peek - Lyndsey's Home Office

In the Forever 30 film, Lyndsey has a brand-new home office and editing studio complete with a green screen for filming. What does she make there? You'll have to watch to find out. Part of her story of turning 30 includes not being afraid to start over (yet again) and try something new.

Since most of the Nelsons' home is decorated with neutral colors, I opted for neutral + pops of color for Lyndsey's office since she spends so much time there. Really, I should give credit to Zack. In the film, the new office is his doing... but that's all I can say without revealing too much of the plot before the project is out.

The flaws in the team - is this fixable in one offseason?

I’m worried they’re gonna see how close some games were and talk themselves out of making necessary changes 😕

god. i have no idea. the thing is that the bengals have always had this reputation, and it's a fair one for the most part. but as a new fan, i've only been experiencing these good years. (became aware of them during the super bowl, really got into them the next season. luckily became a fan right around when they went on a 10 game win streak so like, i wasn't aware this team DID lose?? and now look at me.)

i think, if you want to be Fair, the front office and organization HAVE been making changes. selling the stadium naming rights, making an in-season trade, paying joe the most guaranteed money they've ever paid, these are all steps in the right direction. but you can also fairly point out that a lot of this is way too little too late. they are far far behind the way most other front offices are run, and we're seeing the consequences of that.

i hope that progress keeps being made. i hope they see what they have in joe and ja'marr after this insane season, and see how they've let them down. i think joe (and certainly ja'marr lol) is the type to speak his mind when he sees something he's not happy about. i'm not sure how much power or sway he does have in the organization, but i imagine it's more than pretty much any player they've had til this point. and i can only hope they listen to him!! (without him having to threaten a trade, which i wouldn't blame him for. but i don't think it's come to that quite yet.)

in terms of what changes they could reasonably make this offseason, i think we need to (ONCE AGAIN) focus on drafting and signing defensive talent. it sucks because oh my god we've dedicated so many resources to that the last few years, but we just keep missing (and of course letting the actual proven talent go, assuming we can replace and it turns out we can't!) and then when you think about how high-potential players haven't developed, you do have to look at coaching. lou has been incredible for us scheme-wise the last few years. he is one of the few DCs who has proven he can consistently limit patrick mahomes, josh allen, and even lamar sometimes (less so this year lol). but! when you take away his top talent, he's not able to reproduce these results reliably. which i mean, that's a hard ask for anyone, but it's his job to work with the tools given, and two years in a row now he's proven that he can't set up the players he has currently on the roster for success. so the answer might be in replacing him? or at the very least, keep him for his scheming creativity but maybe replace position coaches? who actually work with and develop the guys every day?

i still think zac's job is safe. and i know i'm in the minority when i say i'm mostly okay with that. when you look at this team's problems, and what they've been able to do on offense this year despite key injuries, i still think that's impressive. and obviously you can attribute some of that to joe's ability to improvise, but i think when you look at the game plans recently, they've been pretty good overall. zac definitely still has trouble with deciding on when to be aggressive, and sometimes he gets too cute with shit, but i really don't think he's this team's biggest problem, and i think joe is still very much on his side. if that changes though, then yeah, i'd think zac's seat could get pretty hot.

oh i do think we need to get rid of frank though. our o-line is better at pass protection this year, especially when orlando is in and having one of his best years statistically. and i get that when we have joe at qb, we're always going to prioritize passing, that's fine. but i'm pretty sure we're dead last in run blocking. which is a shame because chase brown has shown he can be pretty special! but we need to give him SOMETHING to work with on these runs. and given that frank is the o-line AND run coordinator, it's pretty evident that he's the problem there. so maybe the team gets rid of him? hopefully?

i dunno, this has become a whole rant but these are just some of the things that i think could happen? and maybe if they do, we'll be in better shape next year to get things figured out. i'm excited to watch our young guys this season, see what we have in them. because they could definitely be the key to success next season!

“Pretty sure mistletoe constitutes workplace harassment.”

Katsuki’s gaze fixated on the offending plant that hung from the doorframe directly in front of him. It loomed over the office party in wait for two unsuspecting passersby to step under it and get ensnared in its trap.

“Puh-lease.” Camie rolled her eyes. “You’re just upset that the ‘high-voltage hottie’ in sales does not want to kiss you.”

Katsuki wet his lips in frustration and turned his scowl on his coworker. She was dressed in a slutty Santa outfit that was most definitely against the dress code for the office holiday party. “You’ve been spending way too much time with Denki,” he grunted.

“Doesn’t make it any less true, fam.” She smirked. “I’ve been watching you moon over him for months. You help him with his computer one time and it’s like you’ve seen God.”

“Tch.” Katsuki refused to dignify the comment with a response.

Camie rolled her eyes again. “Here.” She shoved a glass of champagne in his hand. “Drink some bubbly, let your inhibitions run loose, and go flirt. At least if it ends badly, you will barely have to see him since sales is on the fourth floor.”

He hated that she wasn’t wrong, and since they were in different departments, it wasn’t against the rules to be in a relationship, just heavily frowned upon. Katsuki pursed his lips and took a sip off the champagne flute. The bubbly was dry and crisp as it tickled its way down his throat. Katsuki secretly preferred sweet wines and champagne, though he would never admit it. He downed the rest of the glass and shoved it back at Camie. “Here,” he said.

Katsuki marched toward the open door, but a slender, manicured hand came down on his shoulder, stopping him in his tracks. Camie smiled coyly at him and tapped her cheek. Katsuki groaned, then leaned over to give her a peck on the cheek. She beamed brightly at him.

“Is Kacchan dishing out kisses?” asked Denki, far too loudly than was socially acceptable. Several heads turned in their direction to see Katsuki pull away from Camie.

“Fuck you, jackass,” Katsuki barked. He marched away from the pair of them and their giggling fit of laughter into the large conference room that was being used as the main space for the office party. Unfortunately for Katsuki, a certain redheaded sales associate was standing near the buffet table, and his crimson eyes were focused on him.

Did he see that? Katsuki wondered. He approached the long row of tables and reached for one of the dinner rolls. Katsuki cleared his throat as he lifted his gaze to meet Kirishima’s. The sales associate was still watching him, though he glanced away to appear more discrete. “Hey,” Katsuki said casually.

Kirishima glanced down at him as he took a bite of the dinner roll. “Hey,” he said stiffly. His gaze drifted back to the doorway where Camie and Denki still stood, laughing with one another and some people from accounting.

Katsuki followed his gaze and grunted at the fools. “Hitting the champagne hard right from the start,” he said more to himself than Kirishima.

Kirishima arched a brow. “Is that what it was?”

Katsuki snapped his head to the right. “Pardon?”

Pink dusted Kirishima’s cheeks and he stretched his arm over his head, scratching the back of his neck. “I didn’t mean to imply… There’s—uh—there’s just a rumor…”

“Rumor?” Katsuki pressed, suddenly extremely interested in whatever Kirishima had to say.

“That you and Utsushimi are dating…?” Katsuki choked on his dinner roll. He slammed his fist against his cheeks as tears stung his eyes. He coughed, face flushed and reached for the tray of water glasses.

“Oh no!” Kirishima gasped. He patted Katsuki’s back and warmth traveled up and down his spine from where Kirishima’s hand made contact with his back. Katsuki swallowed the roll and cleared his throat. He took a drink of water and blinked away the tears that clung to his lashes. “You good?” Kirishima asked tentatively.

Katsuki nodded. “Yeah. You just startled me with that bullshit about dating the bimbo.”

Kirishima furrowed his brows. “You shouldn’t talk about a lady like that.”

“Camie is no lady, and she is also not my girlfriend. I dunno who started that insane rumor but she’s dating the boss’s second son. It’s not a very well-kept secret.” If this was how the night was going to go, then Katsuki needed another drink, preferably something stronger than champagne. He eyed the small bar in the corner of the room that the company was paying for.

“So… You’re single?” Kirishima asked, drawing Katsuki’s attention back to him from the bar. His expression was unreadable but the faint dusting of pink that colored Kirishima’s cheeks led Katsuki to believe there might be more to his questioning than Kirishima let on.

Katsuki nodded slowly. “I am.” There. He noted a twitch of the brow just above the sliver of a scar that marred Kirishima’s otherwise flawless face. Katsuki inhaled slowly and let out a breath. He might as well shoot his shot. “Can I buy you a drink?”

“It’s an open bar.” Kirishima quipped.

The corner of Katsuki’s mouth ticked upwards into a smirk and a soft chuckle escaped him. “Even better.”

Kirishima smiled back. “I’ll take a brandy sour if they have it.”

“I’ll be right back.” Katsuki patted Kirishima on the bicep as he walked away, and warmth lingered on the palm of his hand. He was thankful his back was to the other man because he just knew he was wearing the stupidest fucking grin on his face. He would never in a million years admit to Camie that she was right about anything, but she had been right about this.

They found an open table in the conference room and sat together. Knees touched as they drank, ate, and swapped stories. Most people glossed over when Katsuki told them he worked in IT, but Kirishima seemed genuinely interested. He thanked Katsuki profusely for the help he provided a few months back. He said he would have lost major account information if Katsuki hadn’t managed to restore the data.

People in management made dumb speeches and the subtle brush of knee against knee turned into hands on thighs and thumbs brushing against firm biceps. As the prize raffle began, Katsuki leaned in close, lips brushing against the shell of Kirishima’s ear. “You wanna get out of here?” he asked.

Kirishima swallowed thickly and nodded. “Y-yeah,” he choked out.

And if Katsuki ended up kissing the hot sales associate in the closet later after far too much scotch on the rocks, well, that was between them and Denki who had the misfortune of walking in on them. Annoying bastard should have gone to look for his coat in a different closet.
