Apesar de suas agendas repletas de responsabilidades, Odin e você sempre encontrava tempo para passar momentos preciosos juntos.

Em um dia qualquer, Odin e você se retiram para o jardim sagrado do castelo que vocês dois compartilhavam. Sentados sob uma árvore com folhas brilhantes, pequenas flores caindo dela, vocês compartilham uma taça de vinho, desfrutando da companhia um do outro.

"Meu honrado marido, quem você acha que vai ganhar essa batalha?" Odin perguntou, ele estava em dúvida sobre a sua opinião, já que não escultou você falar sobre isso.

"Não tenho certeza, querido", você disse, seus olhos se movendo pelas as flores que caia da árvore. "A humanidade está lutando muito bem. Perdemos o Hércules e Poseidon, acreditei que eles venceriam, mas os humanos estão me surpreendendo ", você falou, um suspiro fraco saiu de sua garganta.

"O que está te incomodando?", Odin perguntou, com milênios de anos juntos, Odin conhecia você muito bem.

"Pensei que iríamos perder o nosso Thor", você desabafou, lembrando do sentimento ruim que estava na boca do seu estômago enquanto observava seu filho sem poder fazer nada. "Loki também quer participar e não me importo para qual lado, só quero que ele volte para os meus braços em segurança", você disse, sua respiração engatando. Odin passou um dos braços ao redor dos seus ombros trêmulos.

"Não iremos perder nossos filhos divinos, nunca irei permitir-", a voz de Odin foi interrompida com o som da grande porta, que dava acesso para o jardim do castelo, batendo com força contra os tijolos do castelo divino. Vocês dois se moveram surpresos para olhar o que tinha acontecido.

Thor foi o primeiro a entrar, seus longos cabelos vermelhos voava a cada passo que ele dava, Loki vinha flutuante logo atrás, com um sorriso perverso nos lábios. Os dois  não pareciam se importar com a interrupção que causaram.

"O que está acontecendo aqui?", perguntou Odin.

Loki parou na sua frente, seu sorriso nunca saindo do seu rosto. "Tive uma grande ideia! Posso ir e causar a discórdia nos humanos! Seria tão empolgante ver a cena se desenrolar", Loki disse animado, sua voz carregando o máximo de veneno que conseguia.

Sentindo Odin retirar o braço do seu ombro lentamente, focando no seu filho a sua frente.

"Posso treinar os guerreiros para trazer as vitórias para o nosso lado", Thor falou, largando seu grande martelo ao lado do corpo.

Odin sorriu orgulhosamente para seus filhos. "Vocês dois são tesouros preciosos para mim. Suas habilidades e estratégias nos ajudarão a alcançar a vitória no Ragnarok", afirmou. "Eu confio em vocês, pois sei que herdaram o melhor de mim e de seu pai."

Você observou calado a interação que os três estavam tendo, os olhos brilhando em empolgação quando criavam estratégias boas.

"O que você acha pai?", Loki perguntou para você, um pequeno sorriso nos lábios do rapaz de cabelos verdes.

"Acho uma boa ideia, se você não entrar em apuros depois".

Do any of you ever wonder if Camp Half-Blood accidentally brought in a demigod of a different pantheon before?

This would be especially hilarious if it happens sometime after The Last Olympian/Heroes of Olympus, where the gods are required to claim their kids quickly.

A whole day passes, and the new demigod needs to sleep in the Hermes Cabin and Percy is furious. Meanwhile, the Greek Gods are pointing at each other and shouting, contacting the most obscure of mini gods. Chaos erupts on Olympus as every deity in Greek Mythology is called upon and interrogated. Hermes hasn't run around so much in centuries.

Hecate sits in silence, fully aware of what's happening, but enjoying the show too much to intervene.

Mobius isn’t like any guy that Loki has fallen for. Loki has only ever had flings with princesses and princes. And some of those royals might’ve even called Mobius a peasant (lmfao). Regardless, through learning more about Mobius, Loki has realized that he’s more of a refined jewel than any other stuck-up, cruel royal he’s ever met.

Yes, Mobius rambles about historical timelines and jetski facts. Yes, Mobius’s idea of a good comeback is “silly little man”. Yes, Mobius loves to eat sweets when he’s stressed.

And Loki loves that about him. He loves the kindness that flows from Mobius’s mouth so easily. He loves the smiles that they share. He loves the touches they exchange— it’s become second nature. Mobius isn’t royal but his heart is noble and pure.

ODIN IS THE WORST

Woah, I get Thanos/Gamora vibes from that gif.

I haven't seen the ep but those lines are super scary and still somewhat pretty in-character for him. "He is born with the heart of a fighter" and "A king must tame his threats to ensure they fight for him."

The first is Odin basically waving off any responsibility for Fenris and Hela's behaviour by claiming they were just born that way as if he's blameless in that. How terrible. He indoctrinated Hela and the Valkyries, he's the one who made them that way.

And the second is not only cruel but also counterproductive. If what he wants is for other beings to fight for him, loyalty will always be a much more powerful tool than fear can ever be. We never saw Thor being as powerful as when he let go of the hammer and he embraced the power within - it wasn't enough to save Asgard but in previous battles that ability would have come in handy for their own interests. And yet, Odin was too blinded by his own fear that by holding Thor back (and from what I'm seeing, holding Hela back in this ep too) he only made things harder for himself. Odin was always a terrible king.

I will say this though, I'm surprised Marvel went this route with him considering they're obsessed with claiming he was a good and "benevolent" king 🙄

RoR Odin is my favorite character. I love how mysterious and dark he is, but I wish there was more content of him. I’ve only seen a little, and it's making me sad 😭. Would it be okay to request an Odin x Frigg fic? I don't like to ship myself with characters who are married or have a lover. But if you only write x reader fics, maybe you could do Odin x Frigg reader instead?

Odin x Reader

It was dark in his chambers. Save for the flicker of faces on the screen. The illuminati pixels like modern candlelight as the Father of Norse gods stared at it. The quite rage of a storm still sinking in his chest after what happened at the meeting.

“You seem troubled husband.” Odin’s good eye turned towards the door as both true light and his wife came in. “What burdens you?”

“Is this your doing?” Was all he asked in return.

Understandably, Frigg seemed perplexed, but then looked at the screen where the preparations for Ragnarök were being displayed. “Oh wow…good on Hilde…”

Odin grumbled and his wife just chuckled, “this was not my doing. I’m just pleased she actually listened to all those lessons.” Though Freya was the leader of the Valkyries, his wife was also quite fond of their battle maidens. Mothering the young charges to their new godhood as was her namesake. “You seem irritated.”

“Who would not be. To be challenged by my own and embarrassed like this in front of our peers with this blasphemy.

“I don’t think that’s Hilde’s intentions, my love.” Frigg assured him. Sitting on the right arm of his chair by his side. “She believes the humans should have a chance. And, it is their right.”

“You think they will win then?”

“Who knows,” was just her cryptic message. Then she lifted her hand to smooth over his hair in a loving, soothing fashion. “It has been too long since we have given the husband the trials of their forefathers. I think you forget the struggles they over came in the face of our fury.”

“Our fury and us are two different things.” Odin reasoned.

“True,” she agreed, “but I stand by that it is their right to struggle. Let them fight. Let them try. It’s all we have ever truly asked of them.” His wife then stood and leave him to prepare. “Promise me you will not participate in this though.” As someone who taught Brunhilde of the fight, Frigg also knew the consequences of losing.

Odin looked at her, then back to the screen. “It should not come to that, but fine.”

His wife seemed pleased and left again. Perhaps to watch the fights. Perhaps to ignore them in solace. But, they would happen either way. Odin hoped that it would not come to his own fight in the end to teach ‘Hilde’ a lesson himself.

Loki Laufeyson & Victoria D. Edmund head cannons - sigyn

headcannons about loki and sigyn (aka victoria), aka the goddess sigyn.

now the thing about victoria is that she doesn't even know who sigyn is, she doesn't know loki, she doesn't even really believe in god, or aliens, or anything. 

all the time loki suggests that they both go home and let victoria have her old life back, but she doesn't really want her old life back. sure, it'd be nice to remember her real mother or father, and all the stories loki tells her, but it's not her life anymore. she cares about her step mother & father too much. plus, they're getting older in age and she needs to make sure the farm goes to next best family. 

she didn't grow up in a huge city, she didn't even have a cellphone until 22. tv's didn't work far out in the country as she was. she was home schooled, didn't really talk to many people outside of her mother and father. 

they did notice something strange about her though, she could touch plants and make them grow, when she was sad little storm clouds would sit only covering the farmland she was in. they knew she was different, there hadn't been any superheroes at the time (aside from captain america), so they hid her away in fear she would be taken from them. afterall, whoever dropped her off on their doorstep trusted them enough to keep her safe.

many, many years later she was able to control her earthly powers and when she was 18 she moved from the farm to new york, a place she's only ever seen from pictures in books her father got from the library.

skipping over some thing's.. now i don't normally enjoy the soulmate thing, when i first found out about what sigyn was, i was flabbergasted. i knew i needed to add her immediately into this because her story is very interesting. 

i think she worked at stark industries, maybe shadowing someone else, her role wasn't important at all, but she's always had this need to help people, and working a desk job at stark industries seemed cool enough to help get her enough money to pay for college. 

poor girl bumps into loki and for a moment he's stunned in silence. he's expecting her to be afraid but nope, she's never looked more calm. and then loki recognizes her. of course, he doesn't tell her who she is, not right away.

thor too knows who she is and she looks between both thor and loki, very worried. 'why do you keep looking at me? is there something on my face or something?' i can just imagine how panicked she'd be. because like, who wouldn't feel nervous with two gods staring you down.

thor brings loki back to asgaard, and then he comes back rather quickly to talk to you and see what you remember, nothing of course. 

so the story he tells her: she and loki were childhood friends, sigyn had grown up in the castle, just as a simple garden maid, but her gentleness wasn't overlooked by loki, who noticed everything in his childhood years. she know loki, she know he's a trickster, sigyn stayed away from him not wanting to get into the way of his pranks and trickery. only he doesn't prank her when he meets her. he uses his magic to give her flowers, beautiful dresses. they both grew up, falling for each other more and more. and then one day, loki tells his father he thinks he's gonna marry sigyn. only odin cannot have that and finds a reason to banish the girl (i haven't come up with a reason why yet sorry), and he sends her to midgard, taking away her memories and aging sigyn backwards so she can grow up as a mortal human.

now, victoria is in complete shock because the man she just met, she already grew up with? fell in love with, a god? and she's realizing she's a goddess, kind of.

it reminds her of a story she read when she was a kid on norse mythology. like all kids, she wanted to learn about religion and there was just so much to learn, but victoria had all the time in the world. she learned about christianity, greek mythology, buddhism, catholocism, everything you could get your hands on. she mostly remembers taking an interest in the mythology. the stories of thor and loki took the both of them to the library where she basically read books on her own life, some of it was wrong from thor's guidance he told the truth, but a lot of it was true. although he couldn't bring victoria back to asgaard, she waited a long time to see loki again, and when the day finally came... this time she was ready, and this time victoria understood who she was.

the day victoria sees him again is an ordinary day.  she's just finished feeding the pigs and horses their dinner, and is probably thinking about going for a ride. she hasn't stopped feeling the need to protect and help people, but her parents are getting old and she wants to be with them, make as many memories before their time comes. 

victoria's parents depart to their bedrooms, leaving loki and victoria alone for the time to get to know each other. while she was gone, loki explained who victoria was, his long lost love, a goddess of earthly powers, loyalty, and his to marry some day. they were destined to be together.

anyway skip a whole bunch of crazy shit, like loki learning how to take care of farmland. probably the funniest thing ever.

he talks a lot about their history together, everything they've done together. it's a lot for her to take in because imagine getting to the ripe age of 20 and some god appears out of nowhere who you've apparently already grown up with, fell in love with, and apparently knows who you are more than you know yourself. it definitely isn't easy.

but, of course she definitely believes him. she's always grown up a bit different from the other kids in her town. how her parents farm flourishes when she's happy, the storm clouds that appear when she's upset. 

i also think their first time is spent in the barn. her parents are out of town at the bar, maybe dancing or with friends, and the two of them spend some much needed alone time. he probably wants to wait, but she's so fiercely adamant on having sex. he makes his robe appear on the floor like a blanket. it's very peaceful, a little unpractical and messy, but perfect for victoria.

i don't think she responds to sigyn though. if loki were to call her that, she probably wouldn't realize he was talking to her.

she's big on laughing during sex for some reason. i can just imagine he's saying the dirtiest freakist thing's and she's just giggling quietly and she interrupts him to say "you're talking funny." and loki is like... how are you smiling and having a good time? i'm so deep inside you i can hardly think, much less laugh.

if he's ever hurt, all he needs is one touch and she collects his pain and helps him heal really fast.

i think they both ride horses a lot. just up and down the trails, racing, stopping at creaks to play in the water and hydrate their horses. 

victoria is like the definition of a house wife, but not in a bad way. she's just so calm and collected and motherly. she gives a lot of 'mother nature' vibes i'm feeling.

she's big on thing's like learning and traveling and reading

i don't think their sex life is as freaky as clint and evie cause they're freak masters, but i think they have a more sensual relationship that tends to be on the fun or risky side. unconventional places that you wouldn't normally think of having sex. 

she hums songs that are asgardian, but obviously she doesn't remember. she'll be picking apples in the summer, and loki's just standing to the side watching (he doesn't do mortal work, plus he likes a show) and she'll be wearing one of her pretty white linen dresses and she'll whistle or hum a tune from a song and loki will just stop and stare (some more) and ask if she knew what song she was singing. she'd be like "well no, i made it up silly!" all happy and giddy that he likes her song and he's like "no darling, that's an asgardian song." won't keep her from humming the tune though.

she makes him put jeans on, and makes him help her father all the time. if thor ever hears about loki doing dishes, or feeding the animals, he'll make fun of him for decades.

the last time i wrote these headcannons was last month (march) so if i haven't said it already, she's the most southern person ever. adores sweet tea, huge southern accent, says 'bless your heart', fans herself, loves a porch swing.

these can also be translated into who she was back in her asgardian time. huge on herbal teas, her sarcasm loki had first fallen in love with. her asgardian posh accent, big dramatic fans.

loki falling in love with sigyn and loki falling in love with victoria are two different people, but with the same face. sigyn was a lot more posh, regal, but quiet, well mannered and then victoria lets her mud caked boots on her clean white bed sheets cause "there's a washer and a dryer for a reason!"

HUGE on dolly parton and old rock/country songs that you only hear on radios when you're driving through the middle of nowhere, and the radio only works on that station for some reason. whatever genre that is, she loves it.

aside from horses, she also has a big connection to birds, mostly hummingbirds. she just thinks they're so pretty and graceful, all shining in a wide variety of colors and it attracts her in.

i think victoria can get lost in her own head a bit. growing up lonely, she relied on solely herself for entertainment, so she creates her own little fairy tales in her mind to help her get through the day. 

she journals a lot, has a box full of old journals stuffed full of polaroid photos she's taken throughout her life.

she likes writing letters to people too, outside of journaling. she doesn't really send them out or give them to people, she just keeps them locked away in a treasure box. it's more for her own memories than anything else.

after loki came around, she had dreams about her past life. their first kiss, their first conversation, when they first met. it happens in flashes, but her memory's slowly piece together with time. she doesn't tell loki though, he just knows. she'll bring up something random like his favorite asgardian book and he'll look at her like "how did you know that?"

her bedroom is probably pretty minimalistic as well as her clothing style. it's just cute dresses, jeans, flowy clothes. i think she likes music and dancing around and the flowy clothing makes her feel like a princess
