Code July 2024 — Day 2 — Favorite Ship

I mean these two have been in my heart for a long, long time, so I had to make at least one drawing for this Code July with Oddlita (because there is never enough Oddlita)

Also, could you believe it's the 10th Code July?! Unfortunatelly I wasn't there each year but I really want to do at least a few fanarts which will be a huge challenge not only because I jumped into 2 other events that are happening in July too, but also because I planned for quick an easy ink illustrations, similar to what I did in 2018 and 2019, but the ink said "fuck you" so eeeeh the Day 1 art with William is absolutelly ruined, I need to re-trace the sketch and redraw it in watercolors.

Great start, what can I say. But hey, at least I have an art with Oddlita. (Actually I've made the sketch when the calendar was posted, and I shared it in one group chat and said "oh it would look cool in watercolor but I decided I wanna do everything in ink, maybe I'll redraw this one again later" LOL)

Also, the photo reference that I've used for this is pure meme material but I didn't want to put a third person into this fanart xD

my top ships in code lyoko . . .

first , we have jerlita , of course . BASIC ASS OPTION , but man . LOOK AT THEM . THEY'RE JUST SO IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER AND IT MAKES ME WANT TO DIE . jeremie worked SO HARD to get aelita virtualized , to remove the virus XANA put on her so she could stay with them alive , stayed with her through the whole thing after they fucked up and XANA escaped from the supercomputer and helped her to find data about her past and her family . jeremie isn't the best when it comes to relationships , though . . . he can be a bit dumb sometimes . lol i still think of that line that said something like " would you fight for me , jeremie ? " " aelita , i fight for you every day . against XANA " . LIKE , PRETTY OBVIOUS ANSWER BUT HE DOES . poor guy barely gets any sleep .

second , i think i'll choose oddrich . i don't know , man . they're just so cute together . yeah , best friends and everything but they care about each other SO MUCH . killer music and amnesia were my oddrich awakening . them interacting in amnesia , odd trying to explain ulrich how everything in lyoko worked and being so silly about it . IT WAS SUCH A FUN SCENE . then . . . just killer music , man . poor ulrich felt so guilty for leaving odd alone . then , that scene at the end where odd is still being annoying but ulrich doesn't scream anymore . he's just like " alright . help me study and then i'll hear your song , okay ? " i don't FUCKING KNOW . THERE'S SOMETHING WARMER IN THAT CHAPTER AND YOU CAN'T TELL ME OTHERWISE

lol i think that's all . willrich ( ? ) has a nice kick to it , and while i enjoy it i'm not exactly crazy over it . same with willodd . they're both pretty nice , but i haven't indulged in them enough to like them as much as jerlita or oddrich .

honestly , i don't really ship anyone with william . he should date me instead just saying

do i dislike any ships ? oddlita ship culero de mierda , si lo shippeas te voy a bloquear cabrón
