You wake, covered in sweat and jaw in pain from undoubtedly clenching in your sleep. You’re shaky as you take in your surroundings.

With each blink you remember where you are and reality comes crashing down on you again. It’s okay, you’re okay.

A grumble from your right makes you glance over. Katsuki is blinking awake and scoots closer to you. A quiet rustle of the blankets and creak of the bed accompanying his weight.

“Y’good babe?” He mumbles, deep voice rumbling in his chest.

“Mmmhmm jus’ a nightmare, go back-ta sleep.” Your heart beat begins to slow by the second, body relaxing into the bed.

A strong, thick arm wraps around your middle and pulls you into his chest. Thick, warm, soft- you can hear his heartbeat if you press your ear to it.

“My baby, shhh.” He soothes.

A kiss is pressed to the top of your head. Once, twice, and again. A third final kiss before he tilts your face upwards a little. Your eyes flutter close and your shoulders sink, arms laying purchase around his body.

He wets his lips and kisses your forehead, slowly, leaving them there for a few moments. His own eyes are shut as he returns to sleeping, still in that position.

Rest encompasses you, wrapping you in a blanket of comfort.

Are there people here who feel uncomfortable seeing Moral Orel OCs/Self-inserts?

Because I have an OC, and I feel like it might seem weird to someone or whatever... I just MEET people who say that OCs (inserting them into a show, movie, or whatever) are cringe, and I just don't understand why.

It's okay if you don't like them, obviously, but I think it's very rude to go and comment "it's disgusting" in the post.

not to keep up the likely constant comparisons with hollow knight but

being bad in hollow knight is all fine and okay since the knight is pretty much a blank slate kinda protagonist, you can interpret it as a clumsy child or silent killer machine depending on your skills

but in nine sols it is infinitely funnier to be bad because one moment yi is trying to be all cool and badass only to get his ass kicked like 500 times in a row by the same goddamn miniboss 5 seconds into the fight
