Future of the Vargas-Marchant family

Alright! Let's go with this!

Alejandro, when the twins become teens, will retire from Los Vaqueros and leave his direct subordinate in charge. They'll live in Killeen due to Alicia's work, but during summer break they'll go to Mexico and during winter break they'll go to Colombia to see their families. Also, Alicia will continue in special forces, but as she climbed ranks she'll leave Luke in charge of the team. (She'll go to visit anyway 🤣)

During years they'll live near Black Tomb and the twins will see the Specters as their uncles, but also all Los Vaqueros as well. Ironically, Olivia and Leo will grow beside Cassidy Michaelis (Luke's daughter) and will get along with her as the best friends, just like their parents do. And to spoil something of a future One-shot:

Olivia's godparents are Kanoa and Tiala Toa ( @islandtarochips oc's)! And this little not that little girl loves them a lot as well 💖

And Leo's godparents are Jackson Blackwell and Alyssa Martínez later Price ( @alypink oc). He really admires them and especially likes to pass time with Aly, sometimes also helping Jackson sometimes. Also he considers Lily a big sister, and he admires her a lot and followed her when he was a toddler.

Olivia as a teen:

She loves sports, especially football/soccer. Anytime she has the opportunity, she plays a match with all her uncles and with her dad.

Absolute Daddy's Girl 🤣 she's Alejandro's favorite and spoiled one. And she KNOWS it.

Loves to learn languages. She knows her two native languages and insisted to almost everyone she knew to teach her any they knew.

Olivia has a short temper, so if you piss her off, she'll explode easily...although, her anger will pass after an hour or two.

Her favorite subject is history and her least favorite is biology. So, she loves to watch all kind of documentales with her mom. And she loves to pass time with Wraith, just talking, or with her uncle Alexander baking together.

She has Alicia's hair, Alejandro's skin color and looks exactly as Alejandro even with the charming smile as well 😏

And she's Leo's preferred partner for dancing ^^

Leo as a teen:

He looks exactly as Alicia, but with Alejandro's eyes and glasses. Also Leo has Alicia's mannerisms and tics as well.

He's a Momma's Boy since he was a little child. That's the main reason he learned Alicia's mannerisms along the time.

His favorite hobby is swimming just like his godfather, also photography is a good part of his activities, learning from his aunt Camila and uncle Rudy (my headcanon is that Rudy knows about photography and takes pictures of Las Almas in his free time).

If you ever see Leo angry, then RUN for your life. He isn't the one to get angry easily, but when he does, it's like see a cataclysm. Where Alicia and Alejandro are ones to hold a grudge, Leo multiplies that to the max strenght.

Also, he loves to crochet just like Alejandro ☺️ (he has gifted Lily some plushies he has made for her).

He loves maths and chemistry, but despises politic science and english class. Also, he loves to pass time with his uncle Luke inside the vehicle hangar, helping with the cars, or with his uncle Edward, cleaning the planes.

He got his scar because of an accident when he was with Elías, an animal scratched him. And of course Alicia and Alejandro almost had a heart attack when they saw the scar.

He's Olivia's preferred partner for dancing :D

Also, the twins already have something crystal clear. They'll be soldiers like their parents! Olivia will go to the Mexican Army with the goal of becoming part of Los Vaqueros and follows her father steps, while Leo will go to the Marine Corps to follow his mother and uncles steps.

Ok, ok- I was stuck at work until late today and didn't see this outpouring of awesomeness early enough.

It may be a small thing, but I am truly grateful for all the kind support I've found here. "I love my moots" is a tag I use often and honestly. I joined Simblr at the end of March not really knowing what to expect. I appreciate all the friends I've met and the interactions I've had with so many talented people!

Tiger Lily's Fairy Number 1 , Fira | Light Talent Fairy

Fira is the brightest light in Never Land. When she wants to, she can glow as brightly as the morning sun. This feisty fairy is better known to her friends as “Moth” because she is drawn to light the same way a moth is. Fira is a natural leader and can often be seen leading a group of light talents on a mission through Pixie Hollow. But she has also been known to take on more than she can handle. Once or twice, she’s almost lost her glow entirely from burning too brightly for too long. 

Tiger Lily's Fairy Number 2 , Copper | Tinker Talent Fairy

Tinkers like feeling useful. They know they are better at fixing an inventing things than anyone else in Pixie Hollow, and they love being needed. That’s what makes Copper so unusual. She loves fixing things too, but she likes teaching other fairies to fix their own pots and pans even more. Copper will show any water fairy, garden fairy or kitchen fairy how to mend metal and create little gizmos. All they need to do is ask.

As dizzy as her name makes her sound, Tizzywing is a regular whirlwind. She can never remember if she’s coming or going. Half the time, this fast flying fairy arrives for breakfast with one shoe on and her nightcap still on her head. If she goes back to her room to find her other shoe, she might forget about breakfast entirely. Tizzywing is very easily distracted, but everyone loves her anyway , even if she almost never sticks around long enough to finish a sentence.

Pinocchio's Fairy , Dulcie | Baking Talent Fairy

Dulcie's specialty is poppy-puff rolls, salty and warm, and flecked with savory herbs. But that's not all Dulcie bakes: cookies, cakes, croissants, tarts, pretzels, bread. If it goes into an oven, Dulcie knows how to make it. She has five hundred recipes memorized and she is always inventing new ones. Dulcie is as sweet as her name, but she can be a little bossy. Her friends don't mind though because she makes sure they always have something warm and tasty to eat.

Rani is the only fairy in Pixie Hollow who does not have wings. This brave water talent gave them to save Mother Dove. But she doesn’t miss them too much. With no wings to get wet, Rani can go swimming anytime she wants, something she’s always dreamed of doing. In fact, Rani is the only fairy to have visited the mermaids’ castle under the lagoon. These days Brother Dove acts as Rani’s wings. Like most water talents, Rani cries a lot. She’s not sad, she's just very emotional.

Of Queen Clarion's four helper fairies, Lisel might have the hardest job. It's her duty to make sure Queen Clarion goes to sleep at night! If she could, the Queen would stay up all night long reading reports from her Ministers. Even the Queen needs sleep, though. That's why Lisel is always there with a warm cup of tea and a fuzzy pair of slippers. She's gotten very good at putting the tired Queen to bed at night.

Cavin's Fairy,  Russell | Butterfly Herding Talent Sparrow Man

It takes a certain kind of animal talent to successfully herd butterflies. Russell isn’t as clever as the tricky butterflies he keeps track of but he is very, very persistent. If a butterfly is hiding, Russell won’t rest until he’s turned over every stone and looked behind every leaf. The butterflies of Pixie Hollow know that Russell will find them eventually. But they don’t really mind, as long as they get to have some fun.

Princess Calla's Fairy , Sera | Scouting Talent Fairy

Sera is a scouting talent. That means she spends a lot of time watching for trouble. Sera loves keeping her eyes peeled for hawks and her ears perked for the buzzing of bee swarms. In fact, her senses are so keen that it can be hard for Sera to fall asleep at night. She can hear the fairy next door snoring and the bats flitting through the night air. But Sera wouldn’t give up being a scout for anything.

Shanti and Jane Darling:

Shanti's Fairy, Latia | Forest Talent Fairy

Pretty Latia is a forest talent fairy. With her oak leaf dress, she blends right in when she’s perched high up in a tree. Latia does daily patrols through the woods around Pixie Hollow, making sure all the trees are happy. Like many forest talents, Latia secretly thinks that the trees talk to her, and she likes to sing them lullabies at night. She’s sure the trees appreciate it, especially the elms. Latia is pretty sure they’re afraid of the dark.

Jane Darling's Fairy , Spring | Message Talent Fairy

Spring is one of the best message talent fairies in Pixie Hollow. She’s almost as fast as a fast flying fairy. And she can memorize any message, no matter how long on the spot. Spring’s most impressive skill is her ability to find fairies. She always seems to know where everyone is even if she hasn’t seen them for days.

Madge is an animal fairy. She is good friends with Cora, Finn, Terra, Fawn, and Beck.

Glissandra is an unusual light talent. That’s because she loves rainy days. Glissandra enjoys the soft grey light that shines through the clouds. She tells her friends that she thinks it’s “poetic”. She also loves making rainbows after a storm. But Glissandra’s favorite thing about rainy days is the sight of raindrops hanging from a spider web. The way her light glistens off the droplets would bring a smile to any fairy’s face.

Geppetto's Fairy , Azure | Woodcarving-Talent Fairy

Azure is a wood carver. She never goes anywhere without her sharp little knife, and she can’t be around a piece of wood without creating something. Azure loves to make small carvings of mice, birds and snakes. Her pieces are so lifelike that the other fairies sometimes mistake them for the real thing. In fact, the animal talent Beck once tried to start a conversation with one of Azure's chipmunks before she realized it was just a carving.

Smitty's Fairy , Clank | Tinker Talent Sparrow Man

The first thing anyone notices about Clank is how loud he is. He's also a little clumsy but the other tinkers don't mind. At the end of the day, there is nobody better at making a wagon or fixing a broken paintbrush than Clank. Of course, this super loud tinker would probably be quieter if he ever remembered to take the cotton stuffing out of his ears. He wears it because it can get loud in the workshop. When he forgets to take them out he ends up hollering at everyone because he can't hear.

Princess Marie's Fairy , Nettle | Caterpillar Shearing Talent Fairy

Nettle thinks she has the best talent in Pixie Hollow (actually most fairies think that, even the mud-sifting fairies). Nettle is a caterpillar shearing fairy. Without her help, caterpillars would never be able to see where they’re going. Caterpillars don’t love having their hair clipped, but the good news is they don’t move very faster. With her practical head scarf keeping her hair out of her eyes, and her gleaming shears in her hand, Nettle is ready for business.

Either I’ve completely forgotten to post this here or I can’t find the post but hey Mesmerizer brainrot has come back so I’m showing these guys again with me explaining their designs and story :)) (I may not finish the wip of trying to replicate the og with these guys so I’m putting this here in case I don’t!!)

This is long as fuck lmao but please stick with me I DIDNT PUT THAT AS MY DESCRIPTION OF MY BLOG FOR NOTHING 🔥🔥🔥‼️‼️‼️

While some parts of these designs are just aspects of either of the character’s design (the clothes being relatively the same as Miku and Teto’s just in Riftloss!Emery & Riftloss!Tom’s colour schemes), some parts are intentional little details I’ve decided to put in as to hint at the story behind these two and why I’ve drawn them as the Mesmerizer duo (the stories touch on somewhat similar themes like escapism methinks)

I’ll start with RL!Emery, where I’ve given her a white lily (which symbolizes rebirth) (it also represents purity which I guess you could assign to her but it’s not really relevant in this story) instead of Miku’s visor bow, a forget-me-not on her badge (which represents like remembrance of someone after they’ve passed, or at least that’s how I’ve used it here) and a black ribbon around her neck (kinda a reference to Miku’s choker but it’s moreso that it matches with RL!Tom’s ribbon and that the black ribbon represents remembrance and mourning) + the pink highlights being the same shade as Joshua’s (I’ll explain who he is a) cursed powers.

Meanwhile for Tom, I’ve given him what’s supposed to be a white chrysanthemum on his hat (which represents mourning and devoted love), what’s supposed to be a green ribbon around his collar (as to represent mental health awareness) and a little clock on his badge as to represent his job and how he’s connected to his father (time stealing casino security, I’ll explain it when I get there 😭) (and yes he’s the same guy but in another timeline as the other Tom in my pinned message, it’s that he’s related to the funny clock guy in there as well and in this timeline he intentionally takes more of his features, as he’s trying to break from his shadow)

The plot, independent from Mesmerizer (I’ve had this plot in mind for years now the OC brainrot is THAT deep 😭) starts with me establishing that infinite timelines exist and that time manipulation is possible, albeit extremely tricky and considered impossible in my lore and that powers are a thing cause man I love urban fantasies

In the base timeline, one of the stories in the plot involves Emery and an old friend of hers Josh, in which the two act as a vigilante duo, with Emery taking most of the game as she can actually cast magic and Josh being treated as the alchemist mage-wannabe sidekick, which he doesn’t appreciate as he feels like he’s being taken for granted by her, they both are kinda shitty to each other in the friendship, Josh ends up taking a cursed grimoire as to try to impress her by taking it’s powers and using it for himself, he’s manipulated by it to attack against her and decrease her popularity by starting a cult in the town and constantly beating her in battles under an alter ego, and eventually breaks out of the curse right before dying (?) due to it in front of her, telling her she’s sorry and she says it back. (I tried to speedrun it here 😭)

So, that’s where all the remembrance symbols for her come from.

Mainline!Tom, on the other hand, wants to know what happened to his father, Alexander Pascall, who disappeared years ago, leaving his research on time travel behind. He then has recurring dreams of this insane “time god” who calls himself Kairos, who won’t leave him alone until Tom accepts his offer to give him the power to time travel, which he eventually does accept despite his better judgement.

He gains what seems to be the product of his father’s research next morning - a blade that can cut through the fabric of space time - put in the form of a scythe, and fiddles about with it until he eventually finds out that he’s now been partially possessed by Kairos against his will - thanks to him traumatizing a close friend and colleague of his under Kairos’s influence

And yes, Kairos does turn out to have been Alex having lost his mind, pursuing power haven being driven to madness during his research due to seeing the infinite amount of possibilities out there in the infinite number of timelines, and he sometimes has moments of clarity which eventually let Tom put the pieces together (can you tell what one of my favorite tropes of characters is 😭)

Now that the bare bones of the mainline story has been explained, I’m gonna try explaining the Riftloss!AU for these two and why a specific part of their storyline fits Mesmerizer and why it was stuck in my head as something I had to make for months,,

Also Emery looks mostly the same as her mainline design because up until this point of the AU, the same events occur.

Essentially, the twist here is that instead of a blade sharp enough it can cut the fabric of space-time, Alex instead invents a gauntlet that can absorb a person’s life span and give it to the user instead.

When he was first testing it, he accidentally used it upon a very close friend of his, watching her age rapidly and disintegrate right in front of him, panicking and trying to turn the thing off until it was too late - all that was left of her was ashes.

He then dedicates the rest of his life to trying to find a way to make his gauntlet be able to give others time from his life-span so he can use it upon her ashes that he has within a bottle, becoming more bitter, cruel and inhumane as time goes on and he fails over and over again.

This results in him needing to extend his own lifetime to find the solution, which he reluctantly did at first but eventually normalized, and eventually over time this developed into him starting a casino where he could claim you didn’t need money to gamble in - just your mere time, which you wasted in any other casino anyways! With the prize for winning being extra time for your lifespan, which is why the casino was rigged, yet addicting and enticing enough to get more players within - an easy place to siphon off time he needs to figure out the solution.

Tom, being his son, is a part of the casino’s security, having been conditioned and set up by his father to be obedient to his every command, a cold reaper of those who attempted to mess with how the casino worked.

He didn’t question his situation, having done it all his life until he met the same friend and co worker (Lucy/Astrid) from his mainline story, where these two slowly grow closer as friends like the main timeline and Tom realizes what his father’s done to him and decides he’ll escape his father’s shadow and try to become a better person than him, becoming more spiteful of having to follow his orders over time.

He starts research of his own, and ends up prototyping the same blade that can rip through the fabric of space time Mainline!Alex does with Astrid (thanks to Kairos intervening in his timeline and telling him the basics), testing it and losing Astrid in the process as the time rift opens (haha the name of the AU, she also does have her own separate storyline in a separate timeline) far wider than expected and starts sucking them in, with Tom only being able to close it when it’s too late - paralleling his father’s beginning of spiral into madness. Having lost leading light out of his father’s control and a really close friend he deeply cared about, he falls into self-loathing and thinks he’s no better than his father, having done to the same thing as him in his eyes (hence why he looks more like him in this timeline - I’m imagining a good devastating mirror art piece outta this one 🔥🔥🔥)

This then leads into him finding out and trying to console Emery after she loses Josh as she’s fallen into grief and depression, (hence the green ribbon, with it being tied differently to how it’s usually tied also able to be interpreted as a reference to how his solution is an attempt but not healthy in the end) being clingy to her and desperate to prove that he’s a good person and have a take 2 of sorts because of the Astrid incident.

However his solution to her depression (the first red background part of the animation) is to take her on a trip through other timelines that he enjoys and show her the wonders of the possibilities there, with the two having a rather pleasant journey through them before coming back, with him doing it every now and then with her at her request.

As time goes on, she becomes more and more reliant on these trips as to keep it together, indulging too far into escapism, blocking out her grief and pretending it isn’t real as she becomes mesmerized (haha) with the endless possibilities within the endless timelines that Tom’s blade on his scythe unlocked - and she starts to lose her mind akin to how Mainline!Alex does. (Akin to Miku)

Kinda like Teto, Tom realizes this far too late, and even after realizing this she asks him to let her keep the blade, to continue going through timelines endlessly, and he still accepts, albeit guiltily. He just didn’t have the heart nor was willing to deal with the consequences, and he never sees her again after this, having been haunted by how he’s ruined another person close to him’s life (he’s NOT doing well in the way of trying to not be like his father 😔)

I’d just replace the hypnosis in the middle thing with a time rift and it works borderline perfectly for their storyline lmao I’ve had this storyline before I found mesmerizer so imagine my brainrot when I realized how these storylines could perfectly overlap and aughhhh I knew I had to try to make an attempted remake of it with them 😭

“We’re going to be late,” frets Remus, putting more and more unnecessary items into the bag. Sirius watches him from the corner of his eyes, too busy strapping Altair into his baby carrier and against his chest. Their son lets out a small, sleepy coo, and his heart melts just a bit.

“Don’t stress that much, we’ll be fine,” he says, finally giving his whole attention to his husband now that their baby is ready. “I don’t think we’ll need the newspaper, love.”

Remus stops, looks at what he’s holding, and lets it go with a sigh. “I’m being stupid, aren’t I?”

“Just a bit anxious,” corrects Sirius, taking Remus' hand in his and dropping a kiss on it. “It’ll be okay.”

It’s their first time taking Altair out since he was born, at the beginning of May. It’s also the last time they’re visiting Hogsmeade while one of them is still at Hogwarts; Alex will be graduating soon, already. It feels like yesterday Marlene was introducing to them her round-cheeked, bright-eyed baby brother.

They almost didn't have this, either; everything went so fast, after their own graduation, what with the war raging on and them joining the Order. James and Lily’s wedding, and then they decided to go for it, too.

And then, like a sudden, single firework, Voldemort died, and it was all over. Well, no one was quite sure who had killed him — James would assure it was Frank, Frank would swear it was Lily, Lily would say it was Alice, and Alice would point at James, then they would assume the honor of being the Voldemort-killer, and then the debate would start anew — but the deed was done and the Dark Lord gone, which was ultimately what mattered.

Lily and Alice announced their pregnancies soon after, and after tracking Death Eaters and building their lives back up again — here they are, a little more free, a lot more happy, and surprisingly adults.

Sirius lets Remus do a last anxious check-up around their house before they both Apparate to Hogsmeade; the small village is as busy as ever, students roaming around with a delight born from the end-of-term season. They make a beeline for the Three Broomsticks, hand in hand, slaloming between kids looking weirdly way younger than them. Maybe it’s the effect of being parents.

James waves at them as soon as they enter; they’re the last ones, as expected from their late departure, but it doesn’t dim their friends' smiles nor greetings. Harry, from Peter’s lap, imitates his father gleefully. Neville catches on and raises his arms, too, almost hitting his own father in the process. There’s laughter and warmth and chaos, just like always with them.

Beside him, he feels Remus relaxes. Maybe Sirius does, too — he can’t help it.

It’s home, after all.

I'm not sure about parts of chairs, but I can imagine what kind of chair everyone would be...

Alexander is an overstuffed brown leather chair, very comfortable.

Fitz is a glitzy, glittery prop throne for a stage play - just don't look too closely to see the chipped paint.

Oliver is an old upholstered chair with patches holding in the stuffing.

Lily is a wicker rocker with a floral cushion.

Jessica is a carved dining room chair with a little rose colored cushion that does nothing to make the chair actually comfortable.

Emily is a practical stool with a bit of padding on the seat, good for long hours making art.

Jameson is an ostentatious dining room chair with no cushion. Suffer.
