King Burningham and Queen Persephone ; OC Intros

Names (full): King Stephan Augustus Burningham and Queen Isabelle Maryanne Persephone 

Story Role/Character Type: Antagonists, The Tyrants, The Bloody King and Queen, Bloodthirsty Warlords, The WarBringers, Rulers with an Iron Fist

Age: 42 (King Burningham), 36 (Queen Persephone)

Appearance/Description: 

King Burningham is a huge, very well built king, strong as ten men with huge, calloused and scared hands. He has a bright red mane of course hair that’s in many thick braids, including a huge beard full of ornate braids. He’s pretty much a square or large block with a very square face. His solution to any problem is to yell at it, or crush it with his large hands and double bladed axe. Their oldest child Freya is his favorite child that he is always boasting about in his booming voice.

Queen Persephone has warm dark brown skin, and beautiful dark eyes- all of which Kaye inherited from her. They say she’s the most beautiful queen Dinvirty has ever had, which makes her even more terrifying in battle and more dangerous to underestimate. She has long dark hair that she usually ties back in a long braid. In battle, she’s and her daggers are a force to be reckoned with. Her solution to most problems is to stab it or talk to it sweetly while she poisons their food. Their second oldest child Ragnar is her favorite and she’s always spoiling him rotten.

Strengths: Fearless, very skilled warriors and tacticians, high standards

Weaknesses: Having high expectations of their children, underestimating those that are below them, obsession with war, their unstable relationship with their youngest child Kaye

Additional Notes: Here they are, Kaye's terrible parents. I have both of them together in one post because they are a package deal and serve the same role together in the story, though they are separate characters. I did loosely base Burningham’s character design (not personality) on King Fergus in Brave and Stoick the Vast in How to Train Your Dragon (funnily enough, Fergus and Stoick actually try to be good fathers and rulers).

👑💐 𝐇𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 💐👑

The looks that Hades and Persephone give each other, are ones that show all the love they have for each other and these are more intense during the most difficult moments as in the gigantomachy and in Ragnarok. Hades' gaze is the only one that manages to calm a nervous and/or worried Persephone and Persephone's gaze is the only one that manages to relax and make Hades lower his guard even for a few seconds.

Without a doubt, their love is one of the strongest in Olympus.

Hello Shiftblr!

Hi! This is my new shifting Tumblr account that I will be using since TikTok is getting banned. Please bare with me as I am learning how to navigate Tumblr. Thanks!

To start off, I will introduce my main DRs that I have.

𝐡o𝐠𝓦a𝓻𝔱𝕤 ϟ

In this reality, my name is Lila Laelia Lunaria Lestrange (mouthful I know). My parents are Sirius Black and Laelia Lestrange. My mother was unalived by Voldemort during the first wizarding war because he thought I was one of the two children that would lead to his downfall. For my safety, my father, Sirius, had his cousin Helene Black (who is the identical twin and squib of Bellatrix Lestrange) take me into hiding outside of the country. I was raised in America until the wizarding war was over and Voldemort had been vanquished. When I got older, I had no idea about my magical existence. Helene (who I call my mother) thought that I was a squib and was relieved by that idea. Until one day, I was taking a train home in Kings Cross Station when I began to hear strange voices. These voices eventually led me to accidentally destroy the station. Glass was bursting everywhere, lights flickered until the power cut out, and the trains going by suddenly stopped. A power outage happened all across London, but only for a minute until the lights came back on. Then I will shift to the next morning after this event had happened where I will then learn that I am a witch and I have to attend Hogwarts. I will be shifting to first year, 1991. I did originally have Harry as my s/o for this DR, but I may change it to an OC that I have in mind. Still debating.

ℜᴏᴄᴋ 𝔅ᴀɴᴅ 𝔉ᴀᴍᴇ 𖤐

In this DR, my name is Katherine Rose Osbourne. Yes, that's right. Osbourne. I am the eldest daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. I was born on October 31st, 1981 (yikes) as a "surprise baby". My siblings are Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. I am shifting to October 26th, 1995. I wanted to experience my teen years in this DR because I always wanted to live through the 90s. Plus the Osbournes are chaotic, and OzzFest!! My future s/o will be Ville Valo. He is the lead singer of my favorite band HIM. My future career is being both an actress and singer, as well as, a very far off into the future, director. I will form a band called 'The Damned' and I basically stole the whole soundtrack of Queen of the Damned (watch it if you haven't). Then in the 2000s I do a solo career where I release the album Fallen (yes, the Evanescence one) and The Open Door (can you tell I love Evanescence so much I had to steal their music?). For movies, I am in: Interview with the Vampire (1994) as Claudia, Romeo + Juliet (1996) as Juliet, Sleepy Hollow (1999) as Katrina Von Tassel, and Nosferatu (2015) as Ellen Hutter. For my directing, I only will direct and write one tv show and that is Interview with the Vampire (2022- ). I have been thinking about making this my new CR once I'm done shifting throughout the multiverse. Possibly.

This is the current DR that I am obsessed with and currently shifting to (please if there are any Sandman shifters, let me know). Side note: I'm also reading the Sandman comics for the first time so I incorporated some events from the comics into my DR.

Anyways, in this DR my name is Laila. I chose this name because it means 'night' and goes with my identity as the Goddess of Sleep and Death.

My parents are Hades and Persephone. I was born in the Underworld, but I didn't live there for long as I was taken when I was 3-years-old. "Why were you taken?" I'm glad you asked (no one asked but Imma tell you anyways). Alex Burgess once had a lover named Paul. Paul died unexpectedly and this sent him into an indescribable grief. Alex would do anything to get Paul back. He even asked the King of Dreams to bring him back, but only received silence from the Dream King. In frustration, Alex followed in his father's footsteps and attempted to summon Death again. Only this time, he did. Well, sort of. It was a toddler. Death was a toddler. Despite that, Alex asked the child with white hair to bring him back Paul. The child responded clearly, coherently, "He is where he needs to be". This upset Alex deeply. As he was practically sobbing in front of the child, the little girl raised his chin to force him to look at her and she channeled Paul. Creepily, Paul's voice spoke from the girl's mouth as her eyes were clouded over. Alex had Paul back. And so he kept the child close. So close that he would force her to channel Paul so that he could talk to him any time he needed. Alex would reward her with toys, treats, anything she wanted. Until...she could no longer contact Paul.

From being in the mortal world for far too long, I had lost my memories of my identity and my abilities. I could no longer bring dead plants back to life or talk to spirits who passed by. So, Alex got angry and shoved me in the upstairs attic where I was left. Don't worry, I was still fed and clothed. A woman servant would bring me things I needed, and food of course. But that was all the interaction I had received for 9 years until one day I had received a weird dream.

Just to give context, as a child I would sleep walk constantly to the basement door. No one knew why. I would never dream. I dreamt entirely nothing as a child. But I always walked to that door. Every. Night. Then one night, I somehow walked past that door and made it down the stairs and reached the interior of the basement. I remember, very faintly, some man inside of a glass orb. I couldn't quite see what he looked like or figure out why he was there. Before I could go any further toward the man, I was whisked away by Alex who came rushing down the steps, yelling at me to get away from 'it'. Strange I would say. But I soon forgot about it as I assumed it was only a dream. After I was locked up in the attic, I could not sleep walk to the basement. Then that's when the dreams began. I dreamt of an angel every so often. A beautiful man who looked to be trapped somewhere. Somewhere I couldn't see. All I saw was his face and anguish. Years went by like this. I dreamt of only the same thing and I couldn't dream of anything else. I painted this angel. I had drawn this angel. I wrote about this angel. He plagued my mind and I couldn't understand why. I assumed I was the next Joan of Arc. Being plagued by visions of an angel---except, less cool since I wasn't leading a French army...nor was I a warrior. But still. This angel was the only thing keeping me from entirely losing my mind in my isolation.

Context over. The strange dream. This dream was not like the normal dreams that I would have. This one was more vivid, felt more real, and as if I was actually there. I was in some type of basement. It felt familiar. Before me I saw a pale man inside of a glass orb---wait...the angel? I think I know this place. I've been here before. To the right of me, I saw guards sitting at their desk. One reading a book and the other reading the newspaper. They didn't seem to see me. I attempted to walk towards the man inside the glass cage. To my surprise, he looked up. He could see me. We lock eyes. Intense. Heart pounding. Knees weak. Arms are heavy. Mom's Spaghetti (you get it). Anyways, I walk towards him. When I reach the glass, I can see clearly that it's the same man, or angel, that I have been dreaming about for years. The same angel who nearly made me think I was schizophrenic. I placed my hand on the glass. For whatever reason, I felt like I was pulled to him. A connection (soulmate trope you already know). The angel placed his hand in the same place where mine was. I wondered then, "Could I break the glass?" and tapped my index finger. Crack. Tap. Crack. Tap. Crack. Tap---my alarm went off and I woke up in my bed, in the attic.

Sorry, all of this is so long. I have so much lore and put so much detail into this script that I needed to share it with someone! Anyone!

But, yeah, after I had that dream, I will shift into this DR and that's when I help break Morpheus out of his cage and the adventure begins!

If you couldn't already tell, my s/o is Morpheus (Dream of the Endless). Our trope is soulmates (arrest me if you will).

Devil in Disguise

There is some canon changes bc why not. Jaehaerys was not killed but taken. Doing this only bc I don’t like thinking of Helaena being sad. Also Aemond being manipulative and sexy 🙏🏽☹️. Very much in his book Aemond bag. Also let’s pretend this is towards the end of the war. the italicized part towards the end is a f&b inspired section. And skip over her house not having a name yet 😭

Jasmine had never smelt burning flesh before. It was an idea she never though she would reckon with to begin with. But seeing Aegon, battered.. and melting. The sight made a bile crawl up her throat. A wail of a cry came from Daena early the morning Aemond had gone; Jasmine wondered if her daughter could sense the unrest to come. She remembers how her little girl used to stir and stir in her stomach. Unruly, restless, stubborn.

Her father’s daughter she supposed.

Alicent fell to her knees at the sight of Aegon, Helaena was more focused on Jaehaerys running into her arms but Aemond’s - her Aemond - face was pensive. She could not read what he was thinking, but she knew he was far too calm for someone who just went through what he did.

She had only seen that calmness on Aemond once. The night the met. The night Lucerys Velaryon… disappeared.

Jasmine would never be able to tell what happened by the way Aemond is now. Blowing soft raspberries on his daughter’s stomach. Her dark eyes lighting up as she squirms.

“I just woke up and you were gone,” Jasmine knows he doesn’t want to hear but it has been sitting on her tongue since the brothers arrived back at King’s Landing.

Ser Criston, the new Hand of the King, had concocted a plan. It proved to be masterful one, but a dangerous nonetheless. One that not only trapped and killed the most skilled dragon and rider tandem Rhaenyra had but also meant recovering Jaehaerys. Rhaenyra is down another dragon, and Jasmine can only imagine the chaos that The Queen Who Never Was passing has unleashed on the other side.

Aemond looks up from Daena with a sigh, his hair still damp from his bath. “You would have said not to go, and just imagine what would have happened if I did not.”

“It could have been you in Aegon’s position.”

Jasmine hates the way her voice cracks after she says it. She always felt that Aemond could sniff out fear in someone. A methodical smile graces his face. “No, it could not have been.”

He picks Daena up from the bed, and placed her in the crib near it. He walks over to Jasmine and grabs her face gently.

“He is going to make me Protector of the Realm while he recovers,” Aemond whispers as if he fears someone else will walk in their chambers. “Aegon has never been meant for this. To be king. He would tell you just as much.”

Jasmine must fight an eyeroll. She had heard this speech before. Either in a passing comment or full of speeches. She wanted to say that no one was meant to be king or queen. That this was all about who was willing take, and that this whole war was just indicative of that.

“In fact, he may now agree that I would be better suited for this.”

Jasmine shifts uncomfortably. Aemond’s hands are cold against her warm cheeks. She always thought he looked more ethereal in the moonlight. Like perfectly carved statue brought to live.

“You would make a lovely queen,” the statement breaks Jasmine out of her daze. “Beautiful and benevolent.”

“Helaena is still the queen, regardless of if you become protector of the realm,” she mutters, growing upset at the direction the conversation is going in.”

“Helaena wants to be queen even less than Aegon is capable of being king,” he huffs.

The past few moons has been justifiably difficult for Helaena. Grief over if Jaehaerys was still alive or not eating her from the inside out. She knows she’s had countless nightmares about that day, so she can only imagine how her good sister have felt. The pain she felt for Helaena only compounding when she gave birth herself. Both Jasmine and Alicent taking turns helping with Jaehaera and Maelor when Helaena and Aegon’s sadness and anger became too much to handle.

The repercussions of that day splintering out to everyone. Aegon becoming more vengeful, Helaena drifted into a deep sadness, and Alicent more paranoid by the day. Guards were set up in the secret tunnels after Aemond, Aegon, and Criston decided to go through them.

“You would be putting my poor sister out of her misery. She would be eternally grateful.”

“We would be putting a target on our backs. On our child’s back,” she rebuts.

“Not if the whore of dragonstone, her bastards, and my useless uncle are put to the sword like they should’ve been before,” Aemond shrugs nonchalantly. “The throne would pass through our line. Through our son.”

“We don’t have a son, Aemond,” Jasmine squeezes her eyes shut for a moment before reopening them because he is not getting it.

His hands move from her face, and he wraps his arms around her waist with a smile. “Not yet.”

“It is indecent for us to be talking about this,” she moves his arms. Aemond narrows his eye. “Especially now as your brother is laid in bed, in agony.”

“He is just in agony and not dead with his head on a spike because of me. And it would due you well not to look so aghast. You knew exactly who you were marrying.”

Jasmine fiddles with her dressing robe, and she can’t help but think of her mother.

You have always wanted things too much. Be careful with that mindset. You can end you doing and saying things you would not otherwise.

Johanna had always criticized her daughter’s incessant need to have instant gratification. But what was wrong with wanting things. Everyone else around her got to, but she must smile and sit back and wait. Well, she did not wait or take precautions when Aemond come around, despite her mother’s wishes. She is still figuring out if that was a blessing or a curse in the making.

She looks at Daena and is sure she was meant to be with Aemond. Then they have conversations like this and she wonders if ambition is wasted on those who should not have it.

In a way, she thinks she would not want Aemond the way she does if he was not like this. All consuming and all too much in an intoxicating way.

He grabs her hand, and pulls it to his mouth to kiss it.

“You and I are more alike than you think. It is why we work so well, my love.”

Perhaps he is right, and that is what scares her.

Aemond is officially crowned prince regent a couple days later. The nearly empty Great Hall just filled him, Jasmine, Criston, and Alicent.

Jasmine had to remember to breath when Conqueror’s Crown was placed on his head. She had spent the few days mulling over what he said. Also wondering why he did not leave Aegon for dead if gaining power was the end goal. But in the end, she knows that would only embolden Rhaenyra’s claim more. Aegon relinquishing more power inch by inch while fighting Rhaenyra would be the best way to go.

Saving his brother and reclaiming his nephew has only endeared him more to those who support this side of the claim.

Helaena’s absence from it all was noted. The queen spent all her time with the children. Frightened to lose one or multiple again. Jasmine had snuck away to go visit her.

“I don’t not realize how much I missed watching him sleep,” she whispered, smiling as the two of them leave the twins’ room.

“I am glad you get to again,” Jasmine nods.

They walk in silence down a quiet hall, the only noise the flickering of the evening lamp oils.

“I need to go the kitchen, I am supposed to go down to the orphanage on the morrow to take the left over food.”

“I could do it for you,” the words come out of Jasmine’s mouth before she can stop them.

Helaena raises a brow at her. “I know how much you want to be with the children right now. And of course with Aegon. I could… pick up some things if you are not feeling up to it at the moment.”

It was not a lie, Jasmine has to remind herself. She knows how fragile Helaena’s state is. She would be helping her now sister. She would be.

“You would do that?”

Jasmine nods, throat growing tight.

Helaena brings her into a hug, the sweet smell rose and citrus hitting Jasmine’s nose. “I don’t know what I would have done without you here.”

Jasmine just tries to not let the small flash of guilt grow in her stomach.

Aemond walks into the chambers and instantly notices the smell of lavender wafting through the air.

The new candles lit around the dimly lit room.

“What is all of this,” Aemond eye zeros on the lacy night gown on. He knows it well. She wore it the night they consummated their marriage. His gaze goes over to empty crib.

“I asked Mylana to care for Daena for the night,” Jasmine smiles. “I thought it was time.”

Aemond frowns in confusion. “Time for…”

“To start trying for a son.”

Aemond blinks then a look of realization and surprise takes over his face. He walks further into the room, to the bed where Jasmine sits.

“A son…” Aemond trails off.

“To reassure your line. Our line,” she finishes. “If we are going to do this, we need to this right, and my way.”

She raises to her knees, reaching out to grab the waistline of his pants, and pulls him closer. She slips a hand into in Aemond’s pants.

“I went to check in on Aegon today, his resolve is faltering, day by day.”

Aemond just hums, eye fluttering shut. A gentle, soft hand working through his small cloths.

“You were right, we would be putting them out of their misery taking over.”

Aemond’s eye opens, and he examines his wife’s face. He says nothing before pushing his lips onto hers.

Jasmine’s mother was entirely right. Her daughter wants too much. She wants all of it.

And she will get it.

As positive sentiments towards nobility and the ruling class waned as unrest raged on, it was one lady that stood out amongst both fractions of the greens and blacks.

The One-Eyed Prince’s Lady wife, who took time out of her week to come visit orphanages within the Red Keep. As well as helping the poor beggars that wandered the streets. Offering up everything from baked bread and pies to toys for the children. When there, the smallfolk often fawned over her. Marking her as kind figure to trust.

It was even shocking to see the Prince Regent himself open the Royal Sept for those who wanted to pray and as a place to stay during the colder months of the year that followed.

Though it was speculated by some, Mushroom being one person, that their was not pure intentions behind the actions.

In the end, it was the new face in the Queen’s party that became beloved by many.

I miss the time when you would tell us all about the Baratheon OC that was fangirling over Aemond and then watches him slowly descend into madness. Myrah and Elise are my favorite OCs of yours but I recently remembered this girly existed as well and I miss her because she was so real

LMAO jasmine?? The dark Aemond thing I’m assuming. Yeah she was very real for ignoring the red flags and doing her. I mean it probably would be end bad for her 😭😭😭. But maybe in another universe she just lives her life out with her babies and her emotionally unstable husband 🙏🏽

Plot and Sypnosis

The Princess Tournament for Prince Kaye’s hand in marriage is underway, and all the girls in the Kingdom are preparing to win or to die in the arena.

Tris Lakewater is preparing to use the tournament as a way to finally escape her stepfamily. She doesn’t care about marrying the Prince, because if she doesn’t win but survives the arena it will guarantee her a spot in Dinvirty’s great army. She’s excited for the chance at glory, she's been sneaking out into the woods behind her house and training herself for this.

What she doesn’t know is that the whole thing isn’t as great as it’s made out to be.

That the whole kingdom, the whole militia system, the Princess Tournament- isn't as great as it's made out to be.

Unlike his parents, Kaye is not looking forward to the Princess Tournament. It's no doubt going to be extremely violent- pretty much everything in the kingdom of Dinvirty is- and a lot of girls are going to be slaughtered in the arena for the fun of it.

And it seems as if Kaye is the only one who thinks that there is something twisted and horribly wrong with the whole thing. It certainly doesn't help that he's had horrible intruding thoughts of violent and disturbing things happening to him and people he knows ever since he could remember.

On top of that, his parents expect him to be a bloodthristy madman like them, craving the blood and death to come. They're hoping the winner of the Princess Tournament will fix him.

He's starting to think they're the ones that need fixing.

Extra Stuff

Writing this book in my WIP has been really hard. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to write Tris and Kaye and make their voices sound unique, but I'm working on it.

Persephone has left the Underworld for good. Finally having had enough of the cold and the dark and being surrounded by the souls of the dead, the goddess of spring has separated from her husband in the most amiable way possible and returned to the world above for good. And though they parted ways as friends, there is no denying that Hades is a much better god and ruler with someone by his side - and without his queen, he has become even more withdrawn from his subjects and fellow gods than usual, isolating himself in his great palace and spending much of his time reflecting on how lonely his kingdom feels without someone to share his throne with.

To the other gods, the solution to Hades’ distress is clear: find him another to love, someone who is equipped to rule at his side and share his burdens. But when no minor goddess or nymph seems willing to spend their immortal existences in the Underworld’s depths, the Olympians must turn their search to the world of mortals, and who they find is one Embry Bakir. Embry, a whip-smart lawyer working their way up to becoming a partner in their firm, is the perfect choice for the gods’ purposes, despite their mortality: they are clever, compassionate, suited to rule… and just so happen to have a brother, their only remaining relation, whose life and soul hangs in the balance after an awful car accident, a delicate knife’s edge of the kind that require a personal decision from Hades about whether the soul will pass on or be allowed to remain in its body.

Persuaded by his family, Hades makes Embry an offer: he will return their brother’s soul to his body and give him one more year to live, or they can come to the Underworld with him and live there for a year and their brother can live a long, happy life. Though the god is quick to crumble and offer to simply let Embry’s brother live, not wanting to gain a lover through force for a second time, but Embry’s code of honour will not let the god walk away without payment for saving the life of their only family. And so they venture with Hades into his world down below, determined to brave their way through their agreed-upon year and, hopefully, go back to the life they had lead before.

But the longer Embry spends in the Underworld, getting to know the souls within it and the immortal beings who help to run it, the more they find themself becoming a part of it… and the more they become drawn to the very god who has brought them here in the first place. Though Hades is at first reluctant to get close to anyone again, the two of them find that they cannot stay away from each other, and through many midnight conversations among the asphodels and candlelit dinners in the Underworld’s palace, they find themselves falling into what the poets who tell tales of Hades and his family could only call love. But as the designated year speeds by and troubles with Hades’ self-worth and his family threaten what is beginning, can their blossoming love survive and prove to be a new bright spot among the Underworld’s darkness?

9: A work from another creator you keep coming back to

There are MANY, but I wanna point out three in particular that have really stuck with me throughout the last couple of months! I always look forward to @zepskies uploading and I get so thrilled seeing her in my notifications whenever she does! If I had to pick just one of Alex's amazing pieces, I'd have to go with the "The Honorable Choice" Series. She's created such a vivid world with that AU, I love the OC, I love the setting (and that's coming from someone who usually doesn't care much about Western AUs at all!), and you can really tell how much research went into this. This is peak historical fiction to me, with an eye to detail and the effort to create an authentic story. The fact that there's a podfic version is just the cherry on top for me! I cannot wait to dive back into this world with the upcoming sequel "Outlander", so excited! <3 @kaleldobrev's Old Man / Age Gap Universe is DELICIOUS! My favorite part is definitely "Old Man", in which he gets so brutally humbled and also reassured. The dynamic between Dean and Reader in this whole Universe is so fun and endearing. I have the softest of soft spots for grumpy Dean and this is very much giving grumpy x sunshine. I can also highly recommend "The 15 Year Problem Sequel Series" Last but not least, there's @wildwestdean's one-shot "repose" -- am I biased with this one, because it's based on my request? But seriously, it's so well written and I definitely reread it over and over again whenever I suffer through cramps, or a cough, or when I'm just feeling under the weather. It's truly the comfort fic for me!

I'm pretty sure I've said it before, and if I haven't on Tumblr, I want to make this very clear: I cannot shut up about @floralscented's Hades & Persephone retelling "Life Unto Death" <3 The language is so very poetic and rich and dark and I just want to eat it up and drown myself in it forever. I have recommended this in multiple Discord servers, even to friends of mine who are not in the Supernatural fandom. This one is just BEAUTIFUL, literally! The image of Dean kneeling in front of her, on HIS throne is deeply engraved into my soul. Those who know me know I live and breathe Royal!AUs and this definitely gives me that vibe - a King and his Queen, chef's kiss

Hello! It’s been awhile since Nerdie has done one of these. 👀

Yes it has! Why have you only been lurking and popping up with random things?

Well, my smut fairy is playing hide and seek. Has been more hidden as of late. Inspiration has led to different fics than I planned on. And I’ve queued so many posts that my current queue is posting things up until June 5th. 😂

How does one even queue that many things? And what do you mean the smut fairy has been playing hide and seek? We read that Frankie series! And that Dieter update! Nerdie, stop trying to be coy, it doesn’t suit you dear.

I’m not sure how to respond to that. And yeah both of those had smut but it was….I did say the fairy was playing hide and seek. I did not say they were hidden the entire time. 🫣

1. Help Wanted: Summer Reading with @strang3lov3 They’re asking for self-recs, recs of fics that have stuck with you, fics that you think others should read. Send them your Pedro boy goods. The best kind of summer reading.

2. Jett’s Flora and Fauna Challenge by @morallyinept It’s the incomparable Jett! Making her own challenge to being your fics, art, Moodboards or all any combinations. It just has to have a Pedro character and flowers. Any length (because we like all kinds here) and can be as many submissions as you want.

3. Jamie’s Ocean Challenge by @mermaidgirl30 Pedro characters, the ocean, fun, fics and moodboards mixed together for this one. Again any length (all are welcome and enjoyed), must have a Pedro character and the ocean in your fic or Moodboard.

4. @pedroscouts The Pedro Scouts have descended upon us to give us badges (gotta collect ‘em all), fun tasks and general tomfoolery to make Tumblr fun! Make sure to read through the rules if you’d like to join.

5. May Drabble Challenge courtesy of the @dieterbravobrainrotclub It features our favorite Kit Kat lover Dieter Bravo and aliens 👽 with a meet-cute. 👀 Not weird enough for you? Then write it extra strange.

So that’s about it. There was a lot of ground to cover but we got it done. Nerdie is going to go see a man about a goat 🐐 and also another guy about some teasing or edging? Maybe it counts as edging. Nerdie is 🫤 unsure. She’s only wrote like one of these before. 😆 She also has to look for boots, maybe she’s gonna go to her second concert 🎵
