Three songs for The Silver Chronicles, Life, Despair & Monsters and an Original Work of minet. Also I'm putting my WIP Wednesdays on hold, as I'm working on my newest "Intro Post" and some Masterlists. Anyway, listen and read below the cut:

Silva and Azriel's mother-daughter relationship in Silva's Hope is one of the key turning points of the fic (the underlying themes of motherhood not withstanding); it causes Silva to reevaluate her standing with both Eden's Gate and the Resistance in Hope County and motivates her to take a much more proactive rogue approach, seeking to push both factions towards a peace without spilling anymore bloodshed as there had already been (before she was just trying taking out her grief, pain and her bottled up trauma onto the cult that was similar to the two that took everything from her, and hoping to get killed in the process, a roundabout way to end her own suffering without dishonoring/abandoning the sacrifices made to get her to safety). It also gives her the chance to acknowledge and accept the death of her daughter Persephone; something she's been guilt-ridden about throughout her grief, never allowing her to make peace with it. Silva's upbringing was shaky, her childhood spent with a man who's intentions towards her were anything but pure, and her adolescence spent with the father she wished she had before things went to hell. Silva sees herself in Azriel; a girl harmed by the zealotry of a cult and denied the affection she needed and craved for until later in her life. Silva hopes to be the mother Azriel can rely on, as well as a fiercer protector. This song is both a mix of Azriel and Silva's perspective (in a way), though it's also Silva echoing promises Paul had told her (when he was a better person) but directed to Azriel this time:

Next song is for an Original WIP of mine called Mario: Mother's Boy, a kind of origin story for one of my OCs from The UnTitledverse, Mario Emmet, a quippy shapeshifting alien that feeds on fear, and his time being raised by his mother, Abigail Emmet, who had spent nearly a century prior masquerading as a human outlaw with the Van Der Linde Gang (and feeding off the terror of her enemies). The fic starts from 1979 and ends in 1988, ending a few months Mario's other story, The Adventures of Debra Holmes and her Amazing Best Friend Mario Emmet, in The UnTitledverse. Throughout the fic, Abigail struggles with raising her very impulsively instinctively driven son, helping him masquerade as a human while teaching him human morals and culture (while retaining some of their better alien traditions that doesn't call for the disregard of other's health), going out on hunts to feed both herself and Mario (all the while terror becomes a harder emotion to elicit from her prey, though thankfully fear isn't difficult for Mario to pry out of his own prey), making decisions that put her son before herself, something that goes against her species very nature, as well as face her own impending mortality as her lifespan shortens. But for Abigail, as long as Mario is prepared to survive in this world without her, then that's enough for her, even if the time they had together was never enough.

Cyberpunk: Corporate Shutdown is a Cyberpunk 2077 fic apart of Life, Despair & Monsters, following Min-Ji "Vasilisa" Choi, codenamed to simply "V" (supposed to be the Roman numeral of "Five"/"Fifth" but in Night City, people are pricks, so that number became a letter), as she navigates through the cesspool that is Night City, the dominion of Arasaka on American soil. She is mentored by both Johnny Silverhand (in her head) and an old companion of his, Rico (who Arasaka had intentions to weaponize him but he managed to escape before they could touch any more organs... though he is fighting off the side effects of Cyberpsychosis due to almost being full-borg, something forced upon him by Arasaka), into the life of a Cyberpunk. They intend to burn down Arasaka and their main enforcer, Adam Smasher, along with it. However, Smasher isn't alone; he has a pet by the name of "Impulse", and it seems Militech want a piece of the action with their newest creation: "Inviticus", so helpfully designed by one Sir Enigma Malvolio.

an Ever After High oc : Lily beautiful, daughter of Vasilisa the beautiful

Lily is the daughter if the slavic frog princess. She is related in some way to Hopper Crokington, second cousins probably. She really enjoys math, history and sciences, but since her fairytale only requires her to know how to sew, bake and dance, that’s were most of her classes are, which leads her to often being bored and dissatisfied. She won’t say anything though, she’s a royal through and through. She’s also a bit of a teachers pet and perfectionist. Her best friend forever after is Lisa Wise, daughter of Vasilisa the wise, a rebel that’s always trying to get Lily to stand up for what she believes in. Has absolutely no desire for a romantic partner or to get married, despite her fairytale, and hates the fact that she will one day have to.

I debated whether or not to post this but I figured “what the heck..” So here ya go!

I tried to find a cute ship name to call them so I ended up with Varley! I really like how it looks! Especially Barley’s end 😌.

I originally wanted to do the onward style but I decided to draw Barley and Vasilisa in my style So it would be easier for me LMAOO! But I am gonna try to add the onward style somewhat in my drawings. I will say.. this did take me practically the whole day (11 hours at that) and boy was I exhausted 😅.

But overall it was all worth it towards the end! 😁

Hey! It’s Mermay!

While these weren’t made specifically for Mermay, there’s really no better time to post them! As a “for fun” thing, I’ve been designing merfolk versions of several of the “Tags of Whistlegrimm” characters, more specifically for an AU. Apologies for these not all being colored, haven’t gotten around to that for everyone yet!

Not pictured is that Cinder has an alternate design with what’s essentially an artificially crafted lower half of her body after she’s attacked and gets her bottom half completely ripped off… how she survives it is up for debate— boils down to being discovered in time after the fact.

The idea is that some have varying levels of “humanity” which just means like… how “human” the human halves are. Einin has the closest human half, Robin as well to an extent. Snowie not so much but I will say she retained her hair lmao.

This kinda works along some kind of “Merfolk Sanctuary” type idea where they’re all at the same rehabilitation center for different reasons. Some of those reasons just not pictured here right now.

Because I have been thinking a lot about Vlad's mother and crafting her character these days, I have been thinking about all the ways Vlad takes after her. I make them have a close bond and imagine Vlad to be a bit of a momma's boy (mostly because we know that Vlad Dracul favoured Mircea)... but what if their bond is so close because his personality is so similar to hers?

The popular interpretation is that Vlad was hot-headed, short-tempered, and passionate after Vlad Dracul. It kind of makes sense — you paint a picture of a valiant and brave hero, super masculine and badass, while the wife is more subdued and reserved, more analytical, and tame. But when you look at the facts, Vlad Dracul's rule was hardly marked by bravados and risky endeavours. In fact, he seems to be more of a cautious ruler, even a very diplomatic one. Vlad's character and ruling style actually resemble the House of Mușat a bit more. Bogdan II, Vlad's uncle, was known for his strict policies against the Moldavian boyars in a manner that Vlad later incorporated into his own agenda. Stephen the Great was also a ruler prone to taking greater risks, and the two voivodes often shared similar policies and outlooks.

We could argue that Vlad could have been greatly influenced by his mother's side of the family during his stay in Moldavia, but I feel like it would be plausible to work with the option that the philosophy and worldview he found among this side of his family closely aligned with his own... because those values came from his mother.

In my story, I want to shed more life on the women in Vlad's life, mostly because we know next to nothing about them. We know their names (if even), but they were often deemed uninteresting — yet they were living and breathing human beings, and I believe they must have possessed brave and strong personalities because of when they lived, who they lived with, and who they raised. We also have this rooted image of medieval women being soft and submissive, hiding in the shadows, even though the reality often could not have looked more different. I believe they deserve as much spotlight as the brave men whose stories are being told — obviously, more fictionalised as we lack the facts, but deserving of having a voice, too.

I love the idea of Vasilisa being a hidden little spitfire, a graceful and poised lady who, at the same time, spoke her mind and thought for herself, sharing those traits with her son and encouraging him to protect that fire within himself. Because he can. Because he does not have to hold it back the way she has to but can instead use it to reach his full potential.

* Vasilisa is about 5’5 ft tall!

* I haven’t figured out her weight yet but her body type she has an Average hourglass thick tone. She has hip dips and a small round belly (so think of Nani (Lilo and Stich), American singer Tyla, and Twyla (monster high).

*Has a lot of beauty marks.

* since her race is elf/vampire her nationality is Afro-latina! But to simplify it she’s Afro-Brazilian (like myself 😌)

* She has a nose ring, belly piercing and others.

* She has a small fairy wing in one of the back of her ears.

* Her voice VA is a mix between Spectra vondergeist (Monster High) and Chihiro Fujisaki (Danganronpa)

* She has a kind, understanding, outgoing, shy, quiet personality. She RARELY ever gets mad but when she does.. she can be pretty scary.

* Her best friends are Amber Orlock, Gytha Demona, Nerys Blyssen ( which they are in the working process 😅)

* She occasionally plays the Quest of Yore with Barely and goes on Quests with him. That is of course dressing up as well! 😂

*She sometimes floats like Marceline (adventure, Time) and Spectra (monster high)

* She loves to go on day and night strolls. In the daytime for favorite places are the park, the Manticore! Tavern, and the Labyrinth mall. In the night time she likes to go on her land to look at the stars and of course ride along with Barley 😁.

* She wears a lot of her mother’s jewelry and clothes to always have her by her side.

* Can speak MANY different languages ( including sign language)

* Wears a bunch of goth clothes ( so like corsets and a bunch of medieval dresses) and other wears!

* She’s a Mage and does a lot of magic such as healing, reading people’s minds, and Telekinesis.

* One of her strengths are Shapeshifting, healing, using any form of magic. But her downsides are that she has to drink and eat more than a normal being can do. She can also get sick easily.

* Whenever she’s available she’ll help Ian with some magic stuff and teach him different spells and potions and honestly how to maintain it better!

* Now since she’s half elf and vampire blood doesn’t have an effect on her only because she took majority of her mother’s side. But every once in awhile she does get the cravings often. So she drinks pigs blood and makes it into boba 🧋 (I’m assuming there’s such thing as pigs in the universe 😭)

*Since she has a lot of her mother’s traits she will have longer ears and eyebrows when she gets older. 

* She owns a Phoenix as a pet (I name her Fawkes after professor Dumbledores from Harry Potter 😁😁)

* She Keeps a lot of charms and crystals in her room from Barley  

* Loves to cook and bake!

* She reads a spell book that her mother left for her.

* Knows how to figure Skate and do ballet and Plays the violin and the piano (so I guess you can say she was very active)
