Agatha is the maid (and former nursemaid) to Clyde Turner. Clysde's father, Vincent struck with grief over the premature death of his wife and Vincent's inability to express himself let alone teach his son how to do so; he hired Agitha. Agatha empathizes with Clyde, trying to be a motherly fighter to him, much to Clyde's dismay. Clyde did want a replacement parent, he just wanted his dad to pay attention to him. Despite this Agatha still tried to be there for Clyde, emotionally.

Can I just say... how fucking blessed the Warrior Nun fandon is? Like-- we fucking won. These bitches won! We met the 15 million tweets which is insane, more so that we did it within only a few days. Honestly I can not be the only person who cried when they found out it was coming back, right? Cause like... I texted my step dad saying that it was uncanceled and he didn't even know it was a thing. I've seen it happen only 1 other time.

I can't even express the amount of happiness I felt. So thank you Simon Barry, and the whole Fandom. Actually fuck that. We aren't a fandom. We did this, and bought a billboard across Netflix headquarters to bring it back. We're a mother fucking family.

Aidan Turner as the boatman in Loving Vincent (2018).. Aidan was born in Dublin and has 25 acting credits from a 2007 episode of The Tudors on the telly, to a 2023 short. His entry among my best 1001 is The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

His other notable credits include The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, and 43 episodes of Poldark.

Tiny Review: Loving Vincent 2017. MUST WATCH. For creatives, by creatives.

By itself, this is a pretty good and simple mystery story already. Add to this the inspiring message by a struggling Vincent, and this is a MUST WATCH for creatives everywhere.  

The artist themes of self-doubt, struggle, misfit, obsession and love of life resonates.

Loving Vincent is a 2017 adult animated drama film written and directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman. It is a Polish-UK co-production, funded by the Polish Film Institute, and partially through a Kickstarter campaign. It stars Robert Gulaczyk, Douglas Booth, Jerome Flynn, Saoirse Ronan, Helen McCrory, Chris O’Dowd, John Sessions, Eleanor Tomlinson, and Aidan Turner.

On February 13 1940, Artie Shaw and Lana Turner eloped to Las Vegas after their first date. Turner had turned 19 only 5 days earlier and Artie Shaw was 28 years old. They went on to be very unhappy together and Turner was granted a divorce 8 months later on the grounds of cruelty.

By the by, Betty Asher was the MGM publicist/fixer/facilitator who "befriended" Judy Garland while having an affair with Eddie Mannix and spied on Garland for the studio/Mannix for years. Garland reported that she didn't find this out until many years later and when she did she cried for days. MGM made Asher Garland's assistant in early 1939 (when Garland was 16, Asher was 21, and Mannix was 48) and in 1945 Asher was Garland's maid of honour at her wedding to Vincente Minnelli.
