maybe im overthinking, but do you ever think abt how in episode 1, utena justifies wearing the boys uniform by saying its not against the rules? while this was clearly a "gotcha" moment against that stuffy teacher, i feel like it also shows how shes still functioning within the parameters of the ohtori system. like, yeah, shes being rebellious, but its a form of rebellion that isnt actually revolutionary- shes still following the rules propagating the structure built around the patriarchal prince, shes just doing it in the "opposite" way of whats expected, but shes not actually fighting it. though, of course, even this much deviance still tries to get corrected... its still not against the rules. i feel like from the beginning we're told aspiring to princedom isn't a noble goal, and that utena is still part of the system as long as she pursues it

honestly, i've only played through as mhawke a couple times, and, because i'm predictable...he's always been purrrrrple hahahahaha there's just something so enticing about a protag so endlessly sarcastic that it becomes a problem for everyone around them, know what i mean?????? i just...i just always come back to purple. no matter the worldstate, my hawke??? PURPLE. saying the funniest thing at the worst possible time and getting HELLISH looks in the process. being the worst kind of person at every possible opportunity and STILL being the best chance kirkwall's got. it's too irresistible a character choice for me askldfkdjf

but, that being said, i've also always gone mage with mhawke (gotta dig into that complicated brotherly relationship with carver from time to time hehe!!!), instead of my usual rogue obsession, and honestlyyyyyyyyy i really dig the romance being a fenris/hawke/isabela sort of situation 👀 still reaching for the things bioware won't give me. still plugging my ears and LALALALALAing my way through it all ;P some things never change, i guess

and now im intrigued - how do YOUR hawkes overlap, if at all??? 😏

I don't necessarily HC that the animatronics can actually "sleep/dream" per se, but I do think that when in Stasis/Charging Mode, their processor will automatically start rendering and categorizing the footage their optical sensors have taken throughout the day (like a live-stream that starts from the moment they wake up, to the moment they plug back into the charging station), and now and then, sometimes the footage will overlap or repeat in a way that almost feels uncanny and "dreamlike" to them.

So, do androids/animatronics dream of electric sheep? Not really, but sometimes their processors do replay/linger on footage of you a little longer than necessary.

really when it comes to liking rarer characters you kinda have to suck it up a little bit you don't have the same luxury of super popular ones if you block everyone who annoys you on the first offense you will run out of people to interact with faster then you think

it's better to just make the kind of stuff you want to see from the character and interact with the posts you do agree with

people won't be all on the same level when it comes to understanding them some people will be wrong and as long as they're not wrong and mean about it it's really not a big deal

*Some Qs in the Continuum are bored and decide to both mess with Picard a bit and 'help Q along'. So they send him a dream about what it would be like if he were together with Q* (This is my indirect way to ask the admin what he thinks a relationship between Q and Picard would look like)

*Picard's dream is rather similar to his current life, although Q is omnipresent throughout it. It's...almost peaceful, having the safety net of Q there--although on some level he knows Q would never interfere unless directly asked.*

*Q can't always be physically there when he's doing work for the continuum, but things are still suspiciously nice without Q's physical presence. Whenever Picard is bored, he finds a good book, and whenever he's thirsty, a cup of earl grey mysteriously materialises on his desk.*

*And when Q is there, instead of being a stressful sign of another portion of the trial, it's...almost quiet. He's teaching Q to slow down and try to appreciate the world on a mortal level. He's not sure it's working, but he likes to hope.*

*When Picard wakes up, he first feels almost content, then disturbed. He's not in love with Q, even if that dream was weirdly lovely, he tells himself. He goes about the rest of his day like normal, with the dream still haunting him in the back of his mind.*

ordered a specific old pressing CD of king tubby meets rockers uptown cause it had the original album cover (the shanachie 1980something CD i have has different art thats of pablo playing the melodica as opposed to the og album cover which is a photograph of pablo behind a wall of posters n flyers n stuff) and like had already read on discogs that the shanachie cd was the superior one cause it was probably audio from a master tape or just v cleaned up and that the CD i got today was supposed to have bad very clear audible vinyl rip audio with audible cracks n pops of the record but i still got the CD anyways cause og album art goes hard and also unlike the shanachie CD it correctly lists track 7s name as king tubby meets rockers uptown as opposed to the shanachie one which mislists it as braces tower dub and also i think mislistss a lot of the names following that track due to the order being off by one or smthn. anyways when it came i was like wait this audio quality is kinda dogshit u can hear audible cracks and pops from the record lol but like i already knew that b4 so i dont know what i was expecting.
