Bigtree and Kennedy did not return messages seeking comment. A White House spokesman, Kush Desai, said the administration looks forward to the Senate’s swift confirmation of Kennedy.

The letter includes the header “ Doctors for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. ” and begins with the words, “We, the undersigned physicians.” It says lower down that it “reflects the collective voice of physicians and medical professionals” committed to addressing chronic disease.

The AP’s review found that at least 10 doctors who signed the letter had run into trouble with state medical boards or their board certification body for a variety of alleged misconduct. Sanctions they faced included having their license revoked or suspended, being put on probation, receiving a reprimand or other action. One received a warning letter from the Federal Trade Commission, which said he was unlawfully advertising products as treatments or prevention for COVID-19, including intravenous nutrient therapy and vitamins.

Among the signers was Paul Thomas, an anti-vaccine doctor who voluntarily surrendered his medical license in 2022 after Oregon’s medical board found he had engaged in repeated and gross negligence in the practice of medicine.

Thomas did not admit or deny the finding. NBC News reported that Thomas was part of a team assembled by Kennedy who remotely advised an anti-vaccine activist in Samoa during a measles outbreak there on how to treat children with vitamins. A person who responded on behalf of Thomas, DeeDee Hoover, said the information the AP had was inaccurate but did not reply when asked what specifically was wrong.

Other signers included Dr. Simone Gold, who was reprimanded by California’s medical board after she pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for her conduct at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Gold was recently pardoned by Trump and told the AP in an email that her reprimand and other disciplinary action were overturned by a judge prior to her pardon.

“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is an honorable and honest person with vast subject matter knowledge and experience who values the health of the American people, and furthermore because he is willing to challenge corporate interests where they conflict with the best interests of those citizens,” Gold wrote in an email.

Meryl Nass, whose medical license was suspended in Maine over her treatment of COVID-19 patients, also signed. She told the AP she is appealing the decision and expects to be fully vindicated.

At least two of the doctors were disciplined, prior to the pandemic, for improperly giving out vaccine waivers, including one who had his license revoked and another who was put on probation. Another doctor’s license was revoked for refusing to follow COVID-19 guidelines.

Post said MAHA Action’s letter was just one of several provided to the Senate supporting Kennedy, including one that she provided a link to that she said was signed by “17,000 medical professionals.” That letter stated it was from international medical providers and did not include the names of those who signed.

Opponents of Kennedy’s nomination sent their own letter with signatures from what they said were more than 18,000 “vetted and verified” doctors. The group, the Committee to Protect Health Care, said that the letter was initially circulated among verified physicians and that as additional signatures were added, their credentials were checked. The group provided the list of signatories to the AP but with anonymized names that included the first initial of their first name along with the first three letters of their last name, as well as their medical credentials. They said doctors’ names were anonymized for their privacy and to protect them from harassment.

1. What excites me the most on this episode is, we got a glimpse of how Yui abused Nol in the past! (Not that I enjoy seeing Nol being abused, far from it, but I'm glad we finally see the plot moving) This is the discussion back in ep 150:

And with today's episode, we now see how Yui utilizes her power as the owner of the hospital: interfering with the doctors and nurses' decision, having their license revoked if they try to defy her, rewarding them with money -or anything- if they do as she say... Of course Yui's hand would stay clean if everyone is too scared of her! It really give us a glimpse of how she abused Nol in the past. Ugh. Now I wonder, did he also had the nurse he's close with removed from his sight because of Yui? Did she also gaslighted him into thinking it's his fault? 😒

Hearing Yui's argument is laughable actually. When a patient is unconscious, a doctor has the right to do some tests based on medical judgement in order to reach the correct diagnosis for the right treatment, because a sleeping patient can't tell the doctor what's wrong with them afterall. She has no right to veto as a mother too(?), since Kousuke is already an adult. Now, whether the CEO of the hospital has the right to revoke a medical lisence based on personal opinion -- or not, I can't tell because I don't know the laws. But well, money and power goes a long way, sadly.

2. At least Nol wakes up with the person he care by his side. Kousuke wakes up with no one in sight, and the sound of arguments outside. Quimchee just loves hammering down Kousuke's sign of neglection, huh. As much of an asshole Kousuke is, he's still the victim of abuse just like Nol :(

4. Now, about the reason why Yui is so adamant not letting Kousuke be tested by a literal professional. Many people has guessed it's because Yui doesn't want anyone to find out Kousuke is not Rand's biological son, but I don't think we're there yet. Hansuke mentioned basic tests; as far as I know, the basic, standard tests don't include blood-type test or DNA test. It usually only covered the potentials of:

Irregularity in blood (haemoglobin, platetet, RBC counts)

Infection (WBC, Lymphocyte counts)

Liver disfunction (AST, ALT)

Kidney disfunction (Creatinin, Urea, Bilirubin)

Diabetes (blood sugar)

Cholesterol-based illness (LDL, HDL, triglycerides)

Irregularity in electrolytes (Na, K, Cl, Ca)

And that's the gist of it. There's not much to get, unless Yui doesn't want anyone to find out Kousuke is actually diabetic? Maybe she inserted diabetes medicines inside his food? Kousuke did say they have personal chefs, maybe they also received Yui's order. I kinda doubt it though, this seem like a stretch.

It's a different story if Hansuke wanted to check the possible substance inside Kousuke's body, though. Hansuke suspected Kousuke is under the influence; it's the easiest answer that could explain Kousuke's abnormal behavior.

This is just some wild theory but I suspect Yui inserted some antipsychotic drugs in his drink or food (remember the family chefs?) to keep Kousuke in check. If Hansuke finds out about it, it will reveal that Yui has been hiding the fact that Kousuke has some mental disorder, and that could jeopardize his position as the new CFO; that's why Yui doesn't want a blood work. Just a guess 💀

6. I still don't get why would Yui throw away Rand's gift. If anything, I think it'd benefit her more if she give it to Kousuke. Something like: praising him, how he's done such a good job being a CFO that his father would give him an early expensive present, gaslight him into thinking it's not enough, but just a little more until he'd truly acknowledge him, etc. I thought he'd be easier to manipulate if he get enough reward (which he clearly didn't get)? It feels like Yui's manipulation is getting old. Idk, I thought a goal would be much sweeter if he get to taste it, so he'd work even harder. But so far, he didn't taste any of it.

But then it hit me. If Kousuke sees the real present, he'd know his father does care about him. He won't need Yui anymore, he'd start to rely on Rand, as in, the person. And Yui doesn't want that. She wants Kousuke to be fully in her control, she wants him to keep relying on Rand's image by her words; that Rand is a cold man who doesn't care about his family unless Kousuke surpassed him. She just... never let Kousuke to be free. (Which is why I realized Nol has the potential to be a much scarier manipulator than Yui, but that's another topic for another day).

7. Yui touching Kousuke's injured hand without apologizing is such a psychopath thing to do: lacking of guilt or empathy.

8. BAHAHA since we're almost at the end of the year, it's nice to see the reference of earlier episode!

Though, could this be a foreshadowing? If Shinae really becomes Kousuke's assistant in the future, would she be included in the future hospital inspection? Would she play a role in uncovering Nol and Kousuke's mistreatment in the hospital? Lol.

9. MEG!! AOEBJDDJ I hope she would return the gift to Kousuke, just like Shinae who return the bible to Nol! Kousuke needs to know Rand is more caring than he seemed and Yui is much more wicked than he thought! K I'mma go on a rant about this because it is extremely fucked up

Okay so I don't know much on this situation with Nex Benedict(rest in piece 🕊) but I can say that it is extremely messed up with the fact that Nex told their mom about them being bullied they had also told the school but yet much like other schools, they didn't do Jack shit about it which also ADDS TO THE FUCKED UP METER. Nex was in the bathroom with their friends (one being Transgender), Nex basically was Jumped in the girls bathroom (due to the fact the school they went to does not allow students to use the bathroom of the preferred gender) by 3 girls, the three girls repeatedly slammed Nex's head into the ground, the friends got the school nurse who basically said "just come to the nurses office whenever you want" which Nex went home after the school suspended NEX FOR NO DAMN REASON, their grandmother took them to the ER and Nex was discharged later on, the next day Nex Collapsed and by time the Emergency Medics arrived to the location Nex was no longer breathing. SO THE MAIN IDEA OF THIS RANT IS... the three girls that jumped Nex Should be in juvie for attempted murder along with being expelled from the school, the nurse should have her license REVOKED because the first thing she should have done was keep Nex laying down on the ground and then call the ER. the principal should have done something to the three girls who jumped Nex along with the fact the principal should have lost their Job because of Negligence. I believe Currently people are trying to interview the school staff, again this is beyond fucked up, Nex was most likely around my age either being 13, 14 or 15, Nex was still young and most likely had their life ahead of them, Nobody of LGBTQ+ nor Anyone in General should be harmed like that. If you want more info research it. The school tried to lie saying that what happened was not the cause of Nex's death when it very obviously was. Modern Inheritance: Elf Operating License Revoked (semi-canon short)

Eragon settled back against the pillows. He was tired, but he wanted to spend time with Saphira, even if it was just through the window. He hadn’t gotten a moment alone with her since before the battle, and he still felt uncomfortable having their mental link so freely open in the crowded hospital.

Still…he could probably make his room empty at least.

Arya straightened when he looked over. “Need something?”

“Well….” He paused. The elf was hypervigilant as always, now especially so. She hated leaving him unguarded while he was injured, no matter his protests. “You haven’t gotten anything to eat all day. The cafeteria should still be open. Why don’t you go get something?”

The woman crossed her arms. “I’ve got rations.”

“Oh, come on. Those hardly qualify as food.”

Arya tucked her chin to her chest. She was honestly looking for an excuse to leave, stretch her legs, not that she would tell Eragon or Saphira that. Well, Saphira already knew. The dragon was watching the exchange, linked only to Eragon and not letting any hint of her disposition leak out to the elf. Seemed she hadn’t told her Rider that Arya wasn’t exactly there on her own accord. 

She itched to get her gear from the nurses station. Alice was still on duty, she’d chase her off, but if Tyler was there then he might be sympathetic when her back was turned. He’d been a combatant before shifting to medical, he’d understand what it was like. They even had Wyrda there, stuck under the charting cabinet where she couldn’t reach it without being obvious. Vilks was being very thorough. 

Finally, she looked up. “You two wanna be alone, huh?” 

Eragon gave her a sheepish smile. “It’d be appreciated. I know you don’t want to let us out of your sight, but….”

The elf waved his concern off. “No, I get it.” She looked to the window, where Saphira casually rested her scale-armored jaw like a sunbathing cat. “You know how to reach me if something’s up. How’s fifteen sound?”

‘Better than nothing.’ 

“Then I’ll leave you both to it. If I see Brom I’ll chase him off.”

With that the elf gave them a nod and slipped out the door. She checked the bustling hall and did her best to blend into the hubbub, making her way to the nurses station.

Eragon let out a long sigh. ‘Alone at last.’

Saphira snorted. ‘Arya’s become quite the hawk over you, Little One.’ The thread of resentment was clear. Watching over Eragon was her job, no one else could do it like she could. Arya was just getting in the way. 

‘She’s just worried about us. You know, she’s been watching you, too.’ Another derisive snort. Watching over a dragon, bah! ‘Admit it. You like being coddled sometimes.’ Eragon smiled broadly at Saphira’s warning growl. ‘Arya’s just trying to make sure we’re safe.’

A sudden, sharp yelp from the hall snapped both their heads to the door. 

“What the hell do you think you’re doing out here!”

The Rider didn’t have time to question the surge of mirth from his partner. Tromping footsteps, accompanied by what Eragon could only call pained babbling of protests and half-apologies, drew closer before the door banged open. Dr Vilks, the Varden chief of all things medical mixed with the weird and wild (of which the two occupants of this room were indeed classified as), marched in.

Dragging a cringing elf, half bent over backwards and stumbling as he pulled her along the wrong way round, by the literal tip of her ear.

“Lemme go, that hurts, come on Vilks this isn’t fOW you rat BASTARD!” Arya devolved into that mix of garbled common Elvish and Common swearing again, ending with an almost amusing squeak when Vilks applied his thumbnail to her ear.

“Out of bed. Out of bed! After everything I told you, you get out of bed!” Eragon covered his mouth, trying his best not to start giggling. Vilks wasn’t the most imposing of the Varden’s doctors. He only stood around five-ten to Arya’s near six-one, but that didn’t stop him from pulling her around like an admonished child. Elfling? Elfling. “Where did you even get the change of clothes, I specifically told Brom to keep your go bag at the embassy!”

“This is duress! I have rights!” Arya flailed, tried to dislodge the man’s hand. Another pinch stopped the attempts. “I’m a soverginVilks!” 

“I damn well warned you, Arya. I said by your ear.” The greying doctor looked up, suddenly appearing to remember the dragon and Rider. “Say. Eragon, Saphira, would you like to learn a very interesting self defense tactic?”

Eragon raised his eyebrows and looked to Saphira. She had tucked her head so that her jaw was hidden below the windowsill, but he got the distinct impression that she was smiling. “Sure.”

Vilks grinned. “Allow me to demonstrate how to deactivate an elf.”

Arya’s eyes shot wide. “Don’t you dare, I swear on this fucking mountain–” 

“One ear.” Vilks brought up his other hand. “Two ears.” 

Viper quick, the man seized the elf’s other ear and applied pressure with his nails to both, giving the outer curve of the points a good, solid pinch.

Arya let out a half strangled choking noise and dropped to the floor like a sack of rocks.

Saphira snorted, this time followed by a racking in her throat. Laughter. Eragon clapped politely.

“It’s not long lasting. But it’s good when you need unruly patients to cooperate.” 

The elf’s voice drifted up from the floor, thready and laced with ill-defined malice. “I hate you all.”
