The two most recent comfort characters of mine have been Smoon from the fnafsb Dadcare AU by @dad-sun-and-moon and Bandana Waddle Dee from the Kirby series (of course Kirby is beloved to me as well, but I wanted to draw Bandee here).

Bitty: *wakes up from nap with his shirt halfway off, a shoe in one hand and a set of measuring cups in the other*

Jack: “Goose!!” *starts jumping up and down while giggling*

Shitty: *starts lecturing his friends unintelligibly, but it’s definitely a lecture*

Ransom: *only wants to hold hand with his bestie in the hallway, cries if he cant*

Holster: *hugs his best friend so hard, they both topple over and start crying, but they’re still hugging*

Lardo: *quietly orders her friends around while shoving fistfuls of Cinnamon Toast Crunch in her mouth*

Dex: *literally only plays with the singing tool set*

Nursey: *rolls into the classroom wearing some cool ass shades, but promptly trips over the ball he couldn’t see*

Chowder: *Happy Tappies at the thought of getting to run around with his friends*

Tango: *asks “why?” Anytime I ask him to do something*

So I have a ton of panels saved of Samon, for obvious reasons.

I’m pretty indifferent to Hajime but god, this panel is my favorite of him.

Miss 2 brings me the dart board that goes with the nerf thing Mr. 11 got for Christmas. She’s interested in naming the numbers. “Six?” she asks, pointing at 20. No, I explain, and we go through the numbers. But when we get to 1, the problem is, if you say “1” she reflexively says “2!” because Miss 9 runs a “Baby Learning” program so she is not only precocious by nature but also a counting toddler. So we spent about three minutes on number 1 and how it is not, in fact, number 2.

you know what, 8 yr old me being absolutely obsessed with the sickening relationship between faramir and denethor, then going crazy over sherlock & mycroft, only to end up here, luxuriating in the cringe of all cringe - thinking all day long about the complexities of washington's relationships with lafayette vs hamilton vs laurens - makes a lot of sense. one hint of paternal-ish angst and i salivate like a dog i guess.

Early Childhood - Sandpaper Numbers Writing Practice

Using sandpaper numbers offers students the tactile experience of tracing the rough texture of the numbers, helping children develop a strong sensory connection to the shapes and forms of each digit. Happy 1st birthday to our Everett! The Lord blessed us with such a bouncy baby boy who is always happy and smiling, he's made this first year being parents the easiest year. We pray that you continue to be the sweet boy and that you grow to do whatever the Lord has planned for you!

Jack: *covertly steals my phone from my pocket and starts taking as many pictures as possible until I notice my phone is gone*

Shitty: *is growing a mullet at the age of two*

Lardo: *cries when I make her stop coloring so we can have lunch*

Ransom: *just has to lay on the floor sometimes. It’s okay, he’s just tired*

Holster: *laughs at the ceiling and waves at it sometimes. I work in a church*

Dex: *thinks he is also a teacher, and tries to boss his friends around. They don’t listen.*

Nursey: *has an accident report sent home after falling while trying to take his own pants off*

Chowder: *is obsessed with a shark book we have, and can pick out his favorite shark. It’s the thresher shark btw*
