Merry Christmas from the Leonards! The family photo we got will serve as our digital christmas card, there are some dear friends and older extended family members who still appreciate a photo in the mail, so that is something I will endeavour to send out (hopefully before Easter). This picture will soon need to be updated once the twins get here, and we praise the Lord for that!

We (us, Aaron & Angie, and Molly and her family) left in a caravan and made it to our cabin the morning of christmas eve so we could settle in. We had breakfast at home before leaving and I had packed snacks for the boys occupied during the drive plus the time they'd need to wait for lunch and dinner to be ready. For Lunch on christmas eve we ate food that we (Angie, Molly, and I) had pre made and packed with us, so we had stew, bread rolls, and a nice selection of pies; then for dinner we came together to make 9 chicken pot pies with an assortment of sides. While we were focused in the kitchen, the boys took advantage of good weather and kept themselves busy playing outside throwing horseshoes or playing around the fire, or by staying inside and reading a book.

On Christmas day we woke up and after breakfast we gathered in the living room to do morning devotions and to read through the scriptures that cover the story of our Lord's birth. Us ladies then split off to start prepping for dinner, but in order to keep the masses fed we rearranged leftovers for them to have for lunch and stay out of the kitchen while we prepared dinner. Eventually our spread was ready and after we got washed and dressed we sat down to say a prayer of thanks and dig in to our meal. We did a roast turkey with sides of mashed potato, green beans, stuffing, and a whole load more. After dinner we headed outside to take family pictures before it got too late, every so often I thank the Lord for guiding things so I could marry into such a wonderful family.

(Valentina's POV)

We've had a wonderful christmas with family, we had wonderful church services with family and friends. The week leading up to Christmas day we had services every other day if not everyday, so there was a lot of time spend with our church family. Barrett and Kyleigh came into town to see her parents so we saw them and their kids at services and at other fellowship functions. Celeste and Reid also came over for the weekend services after they spent time with his family, so we were spoiled in terms of having family with us. Aunt Danielle and her family were also in attendance with us for christmas, sometimes they go visit with uncle Sebastian's relatives at christmas but this year they stayed in town. We got to chat with cousin James and his wife Emma, they're due with a baby - in the spring so aunt Danielle will be heading over to Henley-on-Bagley to help them for w few weeks when their little one makes their appearance. It's such a blessing to have family live in the same area, getting married and moving away to create your own family is quite a hard adjustment, so having a little slice of home near you as you navigate your new life is so helpful.

Barrett and Kyleigh also come into town for the holiday season, her parents also live in town so we see them quite a few times during the year but regularly at christmas time. I think it's such a blessing that I get to be around my cousins as well as my siblings, and that my kids are able to grow up surrounded by family the way I did- except with a lot more! For new years eve we headed to church for a late night service, we worshipped the Lord into the new year and set our prayers for the year to come. The kids started off in 'sunday school' where they listed their spiritual goals for the coming year as well as what their prayer goals are, then they were let out to join the adults in time for them to join the service as the clock struck 12.

(Lana's POV)

We decided to join Maggie, Reece, and their families and it was such a great decision! Whilst I couldn't get on the slopes, I gladly stayed with the kids while the rest hit the slopes early in the morning and prepped breakfast so that by the time they came back there was just a bit of prep left so we could eat.

We had a lot of fun playing outside in the snow, we made loads of snow angels, snowpals, and Liam was able to join the adults in a snowball fight or two whilst the littles were very busy with their snowpals or just general snow play. It was great getting to have this quality time to fellowship with them and strengthen the bonds of the relationships with the nieces and nephews as well, since we dont see them as often as other family.

We got some cute family pictures whilst outside, I know by this time next year we'll be looking back at these pictures and be in awe at how much time has passed! Feels like it's been ages since I first met everyone in the family but time is definitely a thief, especially when you look at the kids you can't do anything but praise the Lord for his goodness is keeping us all.

We had great time in the mornings and evenings, the guys would take turns doing morning devotions after breakfast and we even tuned into a livestream from Newcrest Baptist's midweek service. I'm thankful that despite differences we may have in convictions, we all circle back to a deep love of the Lord and a conviction to serve him in all we do. We're all about to head to our various christmas locations so the busy holiday season is about to start and this little break was a great precursor for us. I can't wait to do this again in the coming years!

(Kyleigh's POV)

We celebrated the triplet's 10th birthday at home in Newcrest with local family and church friends, these three have brought so much joy to our lives in just 10 short years and I can't wait to see how the Lord uses them in the near future. It feels like just yesterday we were finding out we were having triplets, to adjusting to being pregnant for the first time (with multiples at that!), to the baby shower the family threw for her, to their first few weeks on earth being in the NICU, to finally coming home. They're blossoming into wonderful young men and women and they make me so proud to be their mum.

Casandra was so gracious to host the party at the big house, we used the party as a way to hang out with local family before we head to our various holiday plans. Allan and Casandra stay in Newcrest and host local family and church friends who stay in town for the holidays, we were able to see Barrett's younger siblings and their families. It's such a blessing to see how the family have grown over the years since I first met them and even more since I married into the family 11 years ago. We're so proud of them and the families that they've created and their dedication to raising their families for the Lord's glory, time has been a thief and these past 10 years have flown by in the blink of an eye. Soon we'll be dealing with teenagers and all the changes that come with growing up and becoming adults, and soon enough they'll be finding their partners and getting married! (if the Lord wills it)

(Adalynn's POV)

Well praise the Lord - we're having twins! It's a good thing we were sat down already or else I think we would've fainted! After our renewed dedication to leaving things in the hands of the Lord this is such a blessing, we really can't have asked for more and yet we were given double the blessing. The last twin pregnancy I ended up having a scheduled c section, and this time I'm hoping I'll be able to go for a natural birth but the Lord will determine that in due time. So far everything looks great with them, we're waiting until birth to find out their genders but as usual we continue to pray for a safe and healthy pregnancy.

We announced to the family at a family lunch as my stomach would be growing at a rate faster than usual, plus we'd like them to be praying for us as they usually do over the course of this pregnancy. As usual Aaron and Angie were over the moon to be told they'll be getting 3 new grandchildren this year instead of 2, we also called my family to tell them after lunch and everyone was overjoyed! My parents were were us when I found out I was pregnant so they were even more overjoyed to be told that its a twin pregnancy, that brings the number of incoming grandchildren up to 5 for this year.

Our dear Luke celebrated his 11th birthday recently, and his wish was to hang out with his brothers, dad, grandpa, and his friends from church. Aaron and Mason took them out for a day at the arcade and to an adventure park where they were joined by the other dads and sons from church. All the boys came home chatting nonstop about their adventures and we did a cake celebration before people went home. We also took time to video call with family, my parents always call the kids on their birthdays if we aren't able to celebrate with them and discuss what gift they'll send in the mail.

(Lana's POV)

Life has been just wonderful lately, I've been making sure to spend loads of time with friends and family but also making sure I'm spending loads of time with the Lord and filling my spiritual cup. Sometimes when we're free we'll meet up for a meal or coffee and a snack at the big house and just fellowship together with the singles, with time passing you never know when the girls at home could find their person and get married and move away! Additionally, I love spending time with other family members that are local. I try to see Barrett and Kyleigh's bunch but they're quite busy during the day with homeschooling and the like that I see them at church and over the weekend when they're in town. Thankfully Charles and Lorilee are also closeby and I see them a lot more often, Lorilee and I see each other and I'm able to help her with the boys. Little Everett and Jaxton are just the cutest thing!

Parker had to do a quick trip into San Myshuno for work, so I tagged along and we made it a nice trip! We coordinated with the family in the city to see who was available and we were able to see Alan and Tessa at a special service at their church and I was able to spend part of the afternoon with Tessa and her kids. We chatted about life and she was catching me up on their plans for the holiday season, she and Alan will head to Willowcreek to be with their family so she'll also be catching up with Adalynn while in town. She was also catching me up on her pregnancy, she's currently a week or two ahead of me with what is her 5th pregnancy with their 6th child. She and Alan have really put their family planning matters in the hands of the Lord and are such great examples of what it means to truly be leaning on the Lord for everything.

We were also able to see Maggie, Reece, and their families while in the city. Since we're joining them in the mountains we finalised the itinerary and discussed outfits and our travel arrangements, it's great that Parker's siblings are so close to one another that they can vacation together even when it's not a full on family vacation (which Casandra has mentioned planning for this coming summer actually!)

As the year comes to a close, we're in the final talks about the house and the land and are discussing options incase the owners don't go with our offer. We've been praying about it and have asked our friends and family to pray about it too, Sabrina and Tucker have especially been praying about it because if our offer gets accepted and we buy the new house, then we've already agreed on a price to sell our current house to them. They're hoping to have a place to live that can host their growing family, they announced soon after the wedding that Sabrina is expecting again! Additionally, Tessa is also expecting again! Both of these little ones are due in the autumn and will hopefully be present for Harvestfest.

We recently celebrated Aria's 9th birthday, she requested a sit down dinner at a fancy restaurant with Eric and I as her birthday activity which we were glad to oblige. It feels like just yesterday we were finding out that we were expecting a baby and here we are nine years later raising such a wonderful girl. Aria is active and full of energy, but also kind and caring and loves her younger siblings.

I recently got to go visit Celeste & Reid and meet the twins, we're so thankful that Celeste and the babies are alright and healthy. Macie si staying with them until just before Christmas then she'll head home to Newcrest for celebrations with her family. It's so great to see how close Celeste and Macie are and how willing Macie is to drop everything and care for those she loves. Hudson and Maverick are such cute babies and I can't wait to see who they end up resembling once they're a little older. I prepped quite a few freezer meals so that once Macie leaves they've got meals that they can just warm up and eat. We're hoping to meet up and see each other again around Christmas time after we've celebrated with our respective in-laws.

(Kyleigh's POV)

A year later and our home sweet home is done and we're slowly putting together our decor ideas with our newer, larger space. One thing that was an immediate need was a larger dining table, Barrett worked with his dad to build it, it's essentially two tables put together so that we can all sit at the table as well as accommodate guests. We also moved all the bedrooms upstairs which enabled us to expand the dining room and gave us official living room space and turned our old bedroom space into an additional bathroom so that now there's 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs. The decor is still a work in progress but we praise the Lord that we have our house finished and ready to live in.

Surprise, I'm pregnant! We found out quite recently and were excited to go for a scan to see baby's development, there's only one baby this pregnancy and everything looks good. As we've established that I am at risk for preeclampsia I'll be seeing the doctor more often and will continue to eat healthy and exercise. We're heading to Brindleton Bay for Christmas with my parents but we'll only be there for a much shorter time than we did last year. I shouldn't need to see a doctor while we're gone so we're going to pray that everything continues to go well.

The kids were excited to hear they're getting another sibling, Chloe couldn't be more excited for there to be another baby in the house.

Sickness has been made the meal making process slightly uncomfortable, but we're very fortunate to have Casandra and the girls ready to bring us dinner or invite us to have meals. Thankfully I have a stockpile of meals I can pull out when prepping & cooking a meal, and on good days I'll ingredient prep/meal prep so that there's always something to eat. We're investing in a bigger deep freezer so we can experiment with getting larger portions of meat and poultry to help with spending.

We also celebrated little Jefferson's 2nd birthday recently, our little man is growing so fast and is already fully potty trained and is doing so well with his speaking and listening skills. One benefit that every new child has is that they have their skills set to speed dial as the rush to fit in with the older kids. Speaking of birthdays, the triplets' 10th birthday is around the corner and because we're travelling to my parents for the winter we'll do 2 parties - one here and one in Brindleton Bay. Having such large family means we get to double the celebrations!

(Narrator) Another wedding, another SimBook post. Claire took to simbook to celebrate her 8th child unite themselves to their partner in holy matrimony. She'd spend the past few months planning with her sister, her son's future mother-in-law, and the bride and was so happy to see if finally come to fruition. She's especially proud that her son and his new wife have expressed similar convictions to the ones they were raised with (at least for now while their frontal lobes are still developing) Claire has a break while her youngest 2 are in Bible college, but if the Lord is listening to her prayers then they'll find their wives while there.

(Narrator's POV)

After getting home from the exciting wedding weekend, Celeste and Reid fell back into their daily routine. Doctor's orders were to take it easy due to her high blood pressure so that's exactly what she did, there were a lot of naps taken and she was on a restricted diet to mitigate pressure increases. One night she started to feel cramps that felt stronger than the braxton hicks she'd been experiencing, so after a call from her doctor she and Reid headed to hospital while they informed their families. Celeste's cousin Macie came back from Brindleton Bay with them so she could be there for the babies' birth, Celeste's mum Claire stayed in Brindleton Bay with her sister so she started driving to meet them at the hospital as well.

After checking in and being hooked up to all the necessary monitors Celeste started to work through her contractions, using various techniques to manage the various cramps she felt. A few hours into being at the hospital Celeste's blood pressure shot up, and with preeclampsia you have to act fast, so she was prepped and rushed into surgery.

Due to her condition, the birthing team were aware of emergency surgery being a possibility, and because of it being a twin pregnancy there were a lot of precautions in place. Thankfully surgery went fast and little Hudson & Maverick Robbins were born! They were born a few weeks before their due date but thankfully only needed a night in the hospital before everyone was discharged to go home.

Our time in Brindleton Bay was so fulfilling, the wedding was beautiful and centered the Lord which is a great testament to Zachary and Kelsey's faith. Our parents, the single girls at home, and some of my siblings families (Maggie, Reece, and Amira) attended so it was great to see them even if for a short while. We had Titus and Bethany with us left the 7 remaining boys at home, they had an extensive weekend with their grandparents and the updates we got showed us they had a blast.

It was great to see the girls again, we see Madelynn and Carter all the time as we all live in Willowcreek but getting to be reunited with Macie, Celeste, and Valentina again made it feel like we were young girls again. Getting to be with our other cousins and their spouses was great too, Celeste is so close to having her twins so it was great to get to chat with her in person and pray together before she has her babies. Seeing those the live in the city too is always nice, Maggie photographed the wedding as a gift to the couple so we got to see her, Shane, and the twins. Reece and Stacie also attended the wedding with their kids on their way to visit Stacie's family in Windenburg

I'm pregnant! We stayed with my parents and the girls in a Simbnb that we rented for the weekend, and on our last full day I felt a little weird and decided to take a pregnancy test - and it was positive! I know I was just worrying about not being pregnant again but it truly is such a blessing to be able to get pregnant and bring another blessing for the Lord into the world.

I immediately ran and told Mason and he was over the moon! He was just guiding me to thrust my worries onto the Lord and leading us in a prayer of supplication, and it was such a blessing to be able to reveal that I was pregnant very soon afterwards. He immediately started leading us in a prayer of thanksgiving to the Lord for his continued goodness to us and our family; I then called my doctor and scheduled a scan for when we get back to Willowcreek.

I was able to surprise my parents before they left which was such a blessing, by our calculations I'll be due in the early autumn so will be at Harvestfest with a newborn! There were immediate tears which I'm so thankful for, no matter how many grandchildren are born, whenever a new pregnancy is announced to my parents they're immediately thankful to the Lord for another blessing!

This pregnancy has been totally different from the last one as this one is a singleton but we've been basking in the Lord's goodness nonetheless. I've been soaking up enjoying my growing bump and taking in all the changes slowly happening in my body again, my hair has been falling out from the last pregnancy but Casandra suggested this pre-natal vitamin to take so I'm hoping it can work.

Parker and I have enjoyed slow mornings and evenings just basking in the Lord's goodness in being blessed with another pregnancy. Honestly speaking, there are times when I can start to feel anxious but Parker is always there to remind me that prayer is the best answer when my mind starts pulling me in different directions.

Morning sickness (or really all day sickness) has really been a challenge this time round, I'm hoping it calms down after the first trimester because it's so hard not being able to keep my strength up to be able to do the things I need to get done. Due to me being so sick as well as other last minute work things, Parker and I had to miss Zach and Kelsey's wedding but we'll take them out to dinner when they're back from their honeymoon.

My mum and sister came into town for a visit and I was able to announce the pregnancy to them, I wanted to wait for my dad to be there but I'm happy I told them when I did so I was able to because they'd have caught on immediately with how sick I've been. My mum was so excited that she immediately started thinking about what to shop for.

We went out to lunch while they were here and it was great getting to catch up on all the things happening back home. Parker and I decided to join Maggie, Reece, and their families on winter vacation before we head to see my family for Christmas, so we were comparing schedules to see when we'll be coming into town to see them. Priscilla & Felix are doing a gender reveal for their baby that'll be arriving next year so we're aiming to be in Oasis Springs for that. It's so great that Parker has family in Oasis Springs that he'll be able to see around Christmas time as we'll be there until the new year.

(Valentina's POV)

They're married! Zachary and Kelsey were joined in marriage in the Lord's sight on a freezing day in Brindleton Bay. The details were so wonderful and the Lord was glorified in every step of the way. We had hundreds of family and friends there to witness their union and it was just a wonderful day all around. Zach and Kelsey both chose to uphold purity and chastity in their relationship and chose to save their first kiss for the altar and they definitely went for it!

They had an eight person bridal party, Zach had Jarrod as his best man then Carter, Alan, and Charles as groomsmen, Kelsey had her sister Kellie as her Matron of honour, then had Gabriela, Sabrina, and her sister-in-law Sarah as her bridesmaids. Our parents couldn't be happier at seeing Zach get married, with him married now it's just the twins at home and with them starting Bible college soon who knows when they'll get married.

While everyone was moving from the sanctuary to the reception hall of the church, the couple went and took pictures. Maggie offered to shoot the wedding as a gift to the couple and the pictures came out looking great!

The food was mainly handled by Kelsey's family and they got an amazing spread made by a restaurant owned by a family friend of theirs. Kelsey asked for our aunt Danielle to make their wedding cake, so she made the cake and also made multiple sheet cakes in the same flavour for all the guests to enjoy.

Before Zach and Kelsey made their official exit we gathered for a family photo, it's hard to imagine that just 10 years ago it was Eric and I getting married and the family photo was just the 10 of us plus mum and dad. We're now up to 41 people and that number is already going to change very soon as Celeste is due with her twin boys very soon after the wedding! After we did the picture the newlyweds did their flower petal exit before coming back to actually say goodbye to the families and change out of their clothes before heading to their honeymoon.

I managed to find 5/6 of the outfits on the list, I have no clue where that long green dress Priscilla is wearing went but I actually do like it quite a bit so I shall continue investigating, but for now I shall list what I found:

Adalynn's pink blouse is @melonsloth's Brittany top there's 2 other blouses in the post that I also downloaded as well.

Macie's pink dress is @kumikya's Billie dress, there's another dress in the set that I also have downloaded.

Maggie's skirt is @sentate's Nora skirt from the May 2023 collection.

(Narrator) In true grandma fashion, Angie took to facebook to show off to the world that her (10th) grandchild turned 1, and in true QF fundie fashion he's on his way to being an older brother. She and Molly planned the party and they planned all the food for people since their congregation was invited (considering the party took place in the church hall) Angie is just happy that both her kids are doing their part to 'build the Lord's army' and all that jazz.
