In the "simple reminders" section of my whiteboard there is one I leave the same no matter how many I erase and change: It is not cool and poetic to spiral. I added it after Ryan called me out, as he often does, when I got absurdly drunk because it was her birthday and I couldn't call her but I could call him. "You may think it's cool and poetic to spiral...." he said, and he was right. Maybe I don't consciously think that, no, but I've been guilty of that almost buried feeling there's some aesthetic to my illness, something chic about the circles under my eyes. I make eye contact with a flushed-red reflection when I finish sobbing and find beauty in her. I feel a certain undeniable glee when I overdrink, when at the end of the night I sink into bed and pass out, body turned to mush. I'm doing it, I think, I'm really a twentysomething. Isn't this how it's supposed to be? I said that to him that night, isn't this how I'm supposed to be right now? But he's past thirty and well over those kinds of things, I think. He might find something more beautiful in my improving, and I try to. The vitamin supplements that are supposed to keep me alive through the winter are golden, and I set them next to my eggs on a pretty plate, and how lovely is that? I have sunshine for breakfast. I started writing again, so much I keep a notebook on me, and isn't that so intellectual? I'm nearly academic. A little red lipstick helps me pull myself together, am I classy yet? I'm just like Dakota Warren.

Realistically it'd be much healthier to stop spending my life catering to the voyeur behind my eyes. But if I really do feel better, does it matter how I got there?

I just realized what my magnet board is missing

I need chibi style scp staff as stickers/magnets 😭

Just line them all up underneath this magnet along with my chibi twelve magnets

But alas, I don't know if artists and authors would be ok with that, so we have this empty spot in my magnet collection

I was about to start throwing plates because even though hours have passed, the messages on my deco my tree just wouldn't load and in all honesty I was looking forward to reading those more than getting my christmas presents. But looks like making an account on another sketchy website that was linked on that already also sketchy website did give me access to the messages finally. The only problem is that i can't see who they're from but also they seem to be chronological so I think I can figure it out lol. So after some frustrations i can finally say that i have read them and they were really sweet and nice.... so, thank you friends!!!!! 💝 I hope your holidays were great too. And moral of the story is don't trust random websites like these with something that's sort of personal to you idk

missed the december prompt on nowhere girl collective :( also was just very uninspired to write anything for it so its not that big of a deal but i still want to try to write something based on that prompt eventually

but i think ill firstly focus on januarys prompt bc i might actually be able to write something good for this one

(the dec was faustian bargain and jan is a love letter for those who dont know)

ive never written a love letter bc ive never really been in love or had a major crush or anything but now i kinda sorta have a somebody to think about when writting the love letter somebody i can actually anonymously confess to this way so who knows it might actually turn out fine well see
