The thing no one ever considers while writing up character analyses about Merlin is that. he must have been sooooooo sleepy.

#I see everyone talking about the nuances when you look at Merlin through [x] lens #BUT WHAT ABOUT THE SLEEPY LENS #WE CAN’T KEEP SLEEPING ON THE SLEEPY LENS #(can u tell I'm exhausted)#see this reads as if I'm joking but I'm actually being SO serious. I think the lack of rest was a significant factor in Merlin's conduct #IF he got a solid 8 hours of sleep + 2 hours minimum JUST to himself everyday uninterrupted... I just know things would turn out different #like it isn't even asking for much. decent sleep + a frankly sad amount of down-time. and yet. Rosepetal is, obviously, Scout's Ma (because the name I hc for Ma is Rose and I like an obvious name for a pony lol.) All of her sons are pegasi and most of her paramours have been as well.

You might notice that Rumble and Sandstone have similar cutie marks, and that was on purpose! For one, I thought that hoofprints as a symbol for violence was funny, but also some g3s have SUCH similar cutie marks its not even funny lol.

Merasmus is a genuinely ancient dragon who spent a few hundred years sleeping in a castle....that Starjumper began squatting in right before he awoke. Yeah, they're still roomates.

I tried to give all of Heavy's sisters onomatopoeia names like him, but I struggled as you can probably tell lol

BONUS PONY: Crossbreeze! He's Bits N Pieces twin brother and Sandstone's pilot. Or, as you might know by his canon name, Jerry. While Bits isn't actually a big flier, 'Breeze was always a big fan of flying, but lost the use of his left wing in tragic accident when they were teens. It may have healed crooked, but the bigger issue is nerve damage. Well, piloting an aircraft may not be the same, but it's not a bad gig all things considered
