Februar 2022 - Cafe Restaurant am Schafberg

Im zweiten Anlauf schafften wir es erfolgreich im Cafe Restaurant am Schafberg zu reservieren. Das warten hat sich aber gelohnt, denn der Stammtisch sollte ein voller Erfolg werden.

Im kleinen und von außen auch eher unscheinbaren Lokal in der Czartoryskigasse (auf der Hernalser Seite!) isst und trinkt es sich sehr angenehm. Man könnte es auch als Pensionistenlokal bezeichnen, denn der Altersschnitt wurde von unserer Stamtischgruppe mindestens halbiert. Aber das macht garnichts, denn meistens wissen Pensionisten ja wo es gut und billig HappiHappi gibt.

Gut, dass die Fastenzeit in diesem Jahr erst im März beginnt, denn die vegetarische Speisenauswahl beschr��nkte sich auf die Beilagensalate. Machte aber garnichts, denn die Spezialitäten des Hauses, waren eindeutig die gebackenen  Köstlichkeiten. So bestellten, dann auch beinahe alle Stammtischler etwas aus der “Back”stube und waren damit äußerst glücklich.

Ob Cordon, Schnitzerl oder gebackene Hühnerstreifen - alle Gerichte waren wirklich ausgezeichnet zubereitet vom älteren Herrn in der Küche.

Die Getränke waren ebenfalls wohlschmeckend und wurden mit viel Schmäh und Finesse von der adretten Chefin serviert.

Die Atmosphäre lässt sich einfach zusammenfassen: klassisches Pensionistenlokal.
