That with Zandik, give this boy a suspicious samosa while he's pulling an all-nighter. 50/50 he pauses, and silently takes the samosa out of his mouth — or he keeps chewing because boy is that sleepy but stubbornly focused on his work

You find it fun to tease Dottore every now and then, harmless fun of course, though he usually never finds it amusing as you. A lot of times he has predicted what you're going to do before you even do it! Which is no fun at all. But this time, he won't know until he bites into it. And you always cook delicious food for him, he won't see it coming!

Dottore is a very straight-to-the-point person, he won't beat around the bush so you know if he processes the taste, he will definitely say something. I can just imagine - he can smell the samosas all the way from the door, and they smell good as usual, and he can't wait to sink his teeth into your cooking. Without much thought he does - failing to notice the rather... unappetizing color - chomp, chew, until it hits him. It doesn't taste anything like your regular samosas. Like, really bad. He then looks at the suspicious plate. And then your husband turns to face you, who's nonchalantly lying around and fake-reading a book.

He's going to bite you. Hard. (Good thing you already had a plate of delicious samosas ready.)

On the other hand, he is used to eating not the best food because in the Akademiya he survived off either his subpar cooking or takeout. Will swallow the most bland food as long as it keeps his body going. The minute you see him get through one suspicious samosa, you take away the plate because you feel way too bad to let him continue eating that.

Also my biggest takeaway from bingeing Malevolent and Dungeon Meshi pretty close together is that Arthur really needs a Senshi around to convince him to actually eat and sleep occasionally. Something something the party beat their mad magician because they were well fed and rested while Arthur and John got tied to a table by their magic user. Didn't even think to make a giant curry to distract the hag.
