A.K.A. God of Colors, The Origin (of Life), The First Shapeshifter, etc.
(Previous: Photia | Next: TBA)
For Earth Day, we introduce the most down-to-earth god in Hetaveyond— Aluros! (pronounced “AY-loo-rose”)
1. Aluros is the only male deity amongst the Three Primordial Gods.
2. Those who receive Aluros’ blessing develop markings on their bodies, which carry over to their other forms. No two shapeshifters possess the same marks.
3. In his main form, Aluros’ hair, eyes, and animal features change color depending on his mood.
4. Aluros’ iconic necklace contains an extremely rare, color-changing gemstone. Only Lucas Reynard, his champion, is known to possess another piece.
5. Despite their differing ideologies, especially regarding mortals, Aluros is close friends with Diadema and her children, as they have been for thousands of years.
6. Aluros’ emotions are known to affect the skies; when he is really happy, the sky turns into a beautiful shade of purple. 💜
7. Aluros and his four familiars, the Princesses of Color, founded five nations in the continent of Kromatista in the early 1600s. Their reign there was short-lived, however, as the mortals grew to believe their nations can operate without their founders.
8. Many believe that Aluros vanished around 300 years ago, as he had not been worshipped since. However, recent studies have pointed out that certain figures in history never really existed— they were only disguises worn by the God of Colors!
9. Unearthed remains of Aluros’ first tribe, Zucoria, reveals a mural of what modern scholars believe to be the true form of the God of Colors— a giant red cat.
10. Aluros is based on the amazing @tolyys! That’s why he’s such a ball of sunshine 💕

do you guys ever think about how the definition if perihelion is "The point in a solar orbit where the orbiting body is closest to the sun."
like sure they named the research vessel after scientific initiative but they also named the sentient mom-bot after a cosmological metaphor for intimacy
saw someone on this website say that speaking in tongues would be a perfect album if it didn’t have the song swamp like…. well first of all speaking in tongues IS a perfect album so jot that down and second of all. if you can’t handle david byrne putting on a horrible little goblin voice to literally speak in tongues and quote Goethe for five minutes and thirteen seconds im not sure thsi is the right place for you. that’s all
A.K.A. The Sun Goddess, The Founder (of Civilization), Lady of Light, etc.
After the introduction of Diadema, here is her mentor and fellow goddess, Photia— because how can you have a moon deity without another that presides over the sun?
1. Photia is the leader of the pantheon, though not the oldest or most worshipped god.
2. Photia is allowed two magical gifts due to her status, of which she has chosen to grant sword singing and sorcery to promising mortals.
3. Photia’s way of distributing her gifts inadvertently birthed a classist society within her continent of Illiosa; while the gifted ones flourish, the non-gifted struggle to make a name for themselves.
4. Photia only allows herself to be seen if her presence is truly necessary, as she thinks it dangerous to have mortals gaze upon her too often.
5. Photia has granted the leaders of Illiosa special authority, allowing them to summon their goddess directly. However, only the monarchs of Tōnichi have been known to exercise such power.
6. Photia had a Twin named Tefna, who spawned vampiric entities where the Founder’s light does not shine.
7. Photia requested the creation of the Moon, as Tefna’s influence could only be suppressed by light. The “Vampire Queen” had not been seen since Diadema released her magnum opus — a massive, multifaceted lantern — into the night sky.
8. The only thing rarer than Photia’s own presence is her gigantic, fiery wings. Said to radiate heat comparable to that of the sun’s rays itself, evidence of such wings now remain only in ancient murals and statues composed in her likeness.
9. Besides Illiosans, Photia is also worshipped by the elves of Phantasmia, some of whom even desire to become sword singers.
10. Photia is based on the pioneer of Aveyond x Hetalia, @levijonescc! 🩵🤍
@crumpetsandbiscuits organized this little event hehe
