Like either they want to keep using the same old "oh my god its a woman" trope or they are afraid that dudebros won't buy their tickets if they blatantly say so... it feels wrong as fuck...

ultimately i do think my aroace-ness is inherently tied to my fetishist-ness. theres been people i Was sexually attracted to due to fetishes. so obviously its feasible i wldnt be aroace if it werent for the fetishes. but the fact that i am not romantically or sexually attracted to people (except in very specific circumstances) still defines how i interact with certain aspects of society so. im not planning to let go of the identity just because theres been people i want to belong to and kneel for forever.
