Sorry for...idk. Angry posting and shoving political posts down your throats.
I'm not sure why most of you followed me. Some of you have been around since ye olden days of teen wolf.
I don't really know what it is about my blog that makes people follow. It's mostly just me talking to myself, being snarky about tv shows and horny about old men. I'm an incredibly lonely idiot that never stops talking.
I don't know if I will go back to posting those things again. I'm not sure I can. These days I'm going through the motions of life, sometimes I even manage to feel ok, but at my core I am not the same. Something changed. Seeing this pure hate directed towards me and people like me... In my life some people told me to expect it but I didn't believe them. I lost a big piece of my trust in people.
Currently I'm very....frustrated. And angry. I keep seeing lies upon lies and there's nothing I can do about it. People will believe the worst of Israel, of Jewish people. They will make up conspiracy theories and others will just run with it. It feels like I'm screaming at the top of my lungs but no one can hear me. No one is even trying. Idk.

I used to browse some blogs that used to post Harry Styles concert clips (fun lighthearted stuff) after October 7th I saw saw them saying Hamas were freedom fighters and a lot of antisemitic dog whistles, and I was just like...wtf
Its been…something to see people share the kinds of blogs and fandoms that went full tankie on their dashboards after 10/7. According to my notifications, we’ve got the Harry Styles fandom, DC fandom, the fucking Sims fandom of all things, I’ve seen Our Flag Means Death blogs do this, Supernatural blogs (I saw people accusing Misha Collins of supporting genocide because he said it’s unreasonable to expect all Israelis to pack up and leave), Good Omens blogs (and apparently some tankies lost it when Neil Gaiman on here said something about being against violence against both Israelis and Palestinians), and I mentioned maybe a couple weeks ago that I saw an Adam Lambert stan abruptly turn on him for making a very normal statement urging people to be critical online, condemning Hamas, and wanting peace for Israelis and Palestinians (the fact that he’s Jewish makes this ex-mutual’s behavior more concerning).
Again, the way like 80% of this website INSTANTLY went “yeah terrorism against Jews is great and progressive!!!!” has been hard to grasp. I’ve really never seen tumblr react to other world events like this, not only with the reaction being so widespread, but it being completely, irreversibly radicalized, too. Years of marinating in the tankie website has softened their brains into fucking goo
I ask again, why is it this one conflict that has triggered this reaction? The world is not short of atrocities, equally bloody or even deadlier, and the biggest blogs on here have spent years denying them. I can’t come to any other conclusion than thinking most people are much, much more antisemitic than they would ever outright admit, and if that makes them mad, they could’ve reacted to 10/7 like a normal person.

We're 6 weeks in and I'm still reeling over posts with the worst antisemitism and terrorism defense I've ever seen casually sandwiched in between fandom posts and funnee text posts, not gonna lie.

Daily update post:
The IDF has been releasing a lot of incriminating intel on the Shifa hospital in Gaza being used by Hamas. There's footage of a drone going into a terror tunnel underneath it.
youtube
There's pics of the weapons found there. There's the results of an investigation into the fate of 19 years old Noa Marziano, who was kidnapped by Hamas, lightly injured in an IDF strike, which killed the terrorist who was guarding her, another terrorist took her into the basement at the Shifa hospital, and killed her there, then Hamas tried to stage "evidence" that she was killed in the IDF strike. And most recently, there's CCTV footage showing Hamas bringing in hostages (one man from Nepal and one from Thailand) into Shifa, with the terrorists being armed, and all of this was done in broad daylight, and right in front of the medical staff.
Of course anti-Israelis, including the Hamas, said it was just bringing hostages in to get treatment.
But here's the thing, Shifa is on the Western side of Gaza, while Hamas breached the Israeli border in the east. On the way between the border and where this hospital is located, there are plenty of other medical facilities on the way. Any of them would be preferable if the goal was to give the hostages medical treatment as soon as possible. But they took these kidnapped men all the way to Shifa instead. Because that's Hamas' headquarters.
I've known for years, like most Israelis, that Hamas is using medical facilities like hospitals and ambulances for its terrorist activity. This evidence does not surprise me. But I think it didn't really sink in for me until yesterday, just how many people knew and kept silent. I'm not even talking about the Gazan medical staff. They live under the constant threat of Hamas, I don't blame them. But the UN, the Red Cross, all of those "noble" NGO's operating from Gaza (and getting a lot of donations to do so), all of those foreigners with access to Gaza, who knew the situation on the ground, and chose to lie, and continued to do so even after the Oct 7 massacre... WTF is wrong with these people? By keeping quiet, they endangered both Israeli civilians (who Hamas could continue to target with impunity when operating from inside medical facilities), and Palestinian ones that Hamas endangered by using them as human shields.
Who is going to hold these people accountable? Who is going to make them pay for their complicity in endangering so many people, millions altogether, on both sides of the border, so that they never dare do this again?
Have ANY of them come forward, apologized, taken responsibility for their long complicity? I've heard of no such thing. In fact, I assume that they will only raise the volume of their accusations against and vilification of Israel, to drown out the voices asking these questions.
In this tweet you can hear an interview (starting at around 35 seconds in) with one of the few foreign doctors, who had worked at the Shifa hospital, and who after Hamas' massacre, did not come forward with his testimony about what he'd seen and experienced while he was there, but did agree to have it recorded once he was asked to. If Hamas is finally taken down, we might get to hear more of these, and I guess... better late than never.
In the midst of all of this, Israel has helped evacuate babies from the Shifa hospital to ones in Egypt, and the equipment to established a second Jordanian field hospital has entered Gaza today.
Israel continues to be attacked by Iran-funded rockets from the south, from the north by Iran-funded Hezbollah, as well as from Syria, by the Iran-funded Houthis in Yemen, by independent terrorist attacks, and online from cyber attacks, by Iran-funded and even Iranian hackers. I kind of tend not to talk about these that much, because they're on going. It's happening every single day, and Israel, in the middle of the fight to destroy Hamas, has to also defend its people on these fronts.
The anger and hurt over the denial of rapes that happened as part of Hamas' massacre continues, and more people are trying to speak up against it:
youtube
This is 15 years old Itay Cohen.
He's a triathlete, and was in the middle of a training session, cycling in the south, when Hamas terrorists shot him. He was taken to a hospital without any family by his side, because his parents were locked inside a bomb shelter in their kibbutz. Itay took a bullet to the head, and lost his eyesight, but somehow survived. So did his parents. He vowed he won't stop training, despite his new disability. This terror attack has changed countless lives, from among the survivors as well.

What do people need to do to be believed?
Eye witnesses telling what they saw? Pictures? Videos? Hamas themselves admitting and rejoicing in their violence? Outside journalists seeing and reporting the facts?
Like we have all these and still aren't believed... gotta ask what would you yes believe?
#i have to bring this back#i am so so tired#if you're not willing to accept any form of evidence then stop demanding it#just admit you already made up your mind#stop making up relive this traumatic event to try and find you the perfect proof

It's astounding to me that people can refer to the military campaign in Gaza in the terms that they do.
You wanna talk proportionality? Let's! Here's something to give you some proportions.
Over the course of just two days, on Mar 9 and 10, 1945, the Tokyo bombing led to an estimated 80,000 to 130,000 civilians dead. After just two days!
And we still don't call that a genocide, because we have a basic understanding that this term refers to the intention of one nation to completely destroy another, while the Americans were not set on killing every last Japanese. We can discuss whether such intense bombing of civilians was right, but there is no doubt that the goal wasn't a destruction of the entire Japanese nation.
According to Hamas' figure as reported on Nov 15, meaning after 40 days of fighting, the number of Palestinians killed in Gaza is 11,500.
When looking at this comparison, take into account that the population density of Tokyo in 1940 was about 1,337 people per square mile. The population density of Gaza City is (as reported by NBC on Oct 10) 15,000 people per square mile. So we can assume that if an army had indiscriminately bombed Gaza City the way Tokyo was, over the course of just two days, the death toll would have been even higher than the actual WWII one.
Hamas, as a genocidal terrorist organization, is NOT reliable in giving us the casualties, so its figure is likely inflated. It also doesn't distinguish civilians from terrorists (who are legitimate targets in this war), and it doesn't say how many Gazans were killed by Palestinian terrorists (whether due to the over 1,000 rockets that malfunctioned and fell inside Gaza, due to Hamas shooting civilians trying to evacuate to the south or due to terror tunnels collapsing because of the fighting, and killing the civilians who were living above).
And still!
Even if we accept Hamas' figure as is, and we pretend like every single one of the people killed is a civilian, meaning we decide that somehow the IDF has not managed to kill a single terrorist in 40 days of fighting (even though it has identified and published the names of some of the highest ranking Hamas terrorists it managed to eliminate, as well as terrorists identified as having participated in the Oct 7 massacre, and even though Hamas confirmed at least one), and we ignore the fatalities caused by Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) themselves, this does not amount to a genocide. It does not even amount to indiscriminate bombing.
Just to make it clear, this isn't meant to say that the death of civilians in Gaza isn't regrettable. Of course it is! This post is just meant to point out that many of the people talking about this online seem to NOT have any kind of clue what indiscriminate bombing, let alone a genocide, actually looks like.

Daily update post:
The IDF has passed on to the Shifa hospital in Gaza over 6,000 liters of water and over 2,300 kilos of food. Here is an excellent thread with sources (such as PBS and the Washington Post), showing that the hospital being used by terrorists is a known fact since 2006.
Meanwhile, an interview with an Israeli doctor, who has saved the lives of many Gazans over the years:
instagram
As Israeli police is collecting more and more evidence about the rapes and gang rapes that took place on Oct 7, the internet is still full of people denying that these crimes (which when they happen as a part of fighting, are defined as war crimes and crimes against humanity) have even happened. Women's rights organizations have been deafeningly silent on this. Some even took a stand against Israeli rape victims. I just wanna remind everyone that all victims of sexual violence are meant to be believed, is because not to do so is to victimize them a second time. That's what's being done to these Israeli women now.
Hundreds of Israelis held a protest in Tel Aviv today against the war. Because Israel is a free society.
I have no words regarding this tweet (the image refers to the testimony of first responders that a baby's body was found burned in an oven):
Fuel has entered Gaza today with Israel's consent. The amount brought in was 129,000 liters of fuel (roughly 3 fuel trucks). UNRWA's media consultant has given an interview where he claimed only 23,000 liters of fuel were allowed in (which is less than half a truck).
Jordan has established a field hospital next to Nablus with Israel's approval, and it's likely the first of several Jordanian field hospitals to be established next to Palestinian cities.
This is Nutthawaree Munkan, the Thai woman who was kidnapped during the 9th month of her pregnancy, and who has given birth in captivity. Pray for her and for her baby, please.
This is 22 years old Clemence Felix Matanga, a student from Tanzania, studying agriculture in Israel. He was kidnapped to Gaza on Oct 7, and today his government confirmed that he was killed in captivity. May his memory be a blessing.

In this dashcam video, you can see Hamas terrorists attacking civilians hiding in a bomb shelter (there are hundreds of these shelters in the south to protect residents from 22 years of Hamas rocket fire).
At the 0:07, the first grenade is lobbed into the shelter, and an Israeli civilian runs out and tries to escape. The terrorists throw a grenade at him and shoot him dead out of frame.
At 00:30, the terrorists return to the shelter and start firing inside.
At 00:42, the terrorists back up across the street and fire an RPG into the shelter.
At 01:02, the terrorists return, and throw a second grenade into the shelter, which is thrown out by Aner Shapira again at 01:06 and it explodes.
At 01:22, the terrorists return yet again to throw grenade number three into the shelter, which Aner once again tosses back out.
At 01:55, the terrorists return to throw grenade number four into the shelter. Aner again tosses the grenade out, and it does not explode (appears to be a faulty grenade).
At 02:18, the terrorists return and fire into the shelter, when another terrorist comes at (02:33) and lobs grenade number five inside (which is also tossed back out)
At 02:50, the same terrorist returns to throw in grenade number six, which is also tossed back out and explodes.
At 03:40, after several terrorists try to fire into the shelter again, grenade number seven is thrown in. When tossed back out by Aner, it explodes near the terrorists.
