If Jack is an abbreviation to John like Dick is for Richard, what if Danny isn't Dick and Kori's future son, but an alternate Dick? Jack and Maddie Fenton were John and Mary Grayson, and Dick's stage name in the circus was Danger Dan at one point, so that would fit. Slade Wilson/Deathstroke could be this Vlad, since he's also white haired and wanted Dick to become his protegé. And I know they're not related and Dick dated both of them respectively at one point, but the Jazz equivalent could be either Kori or Babs, they're both red heads and smart. If we really want Ellie/Dani in here as well, there was one hero who was also a ghost, right? I think her name was Secret/Greta? She could be an actual halfa in this dimension. I don't know much about her and if Ellie and her have any similarities, but it could be fun for Danny to have to adjust to being a meta human now and then encountering a Halfa. (Even tho Dani technically doesn't exist yet, since Vlad cloned Danny after he had his time travel adventure with Dan)

This sounds more like dimension travel than simple time travel though. But maybe it was both, this is a different time in a different dimension than the one Danny comes from, since he's obviously younger than Dick. And since Danny and Wally both had time travel missions that lead to this situation, everyone thinks Danny is Dick's future kid.

It has been a while since I have done an original prompt. So DCxDP prompt #2

Danny gets into a fight with Impulse/Bart about Bart changing the timeline messing things up for Danny and effectively erasing his family, because the change made it so Maddie and Jack never got together. But because of Clockwork sending him on a mission to the past while Bart changed the timeline and the medallion Dan had phased into Danny he remembers the old timeline. Also he has access to his powers but for some reason can’t change into ghost form.

This fight happens in front of the rest of the young justice team. And Nightwing was coming there to teach a training lesson and over hears half of what Danny is shouting.

From Dick’s point of view there is a black haired, blue eyed kid with powers that are suspiciously like a Tamuraneans, yelling at Bart about losing his family because his parents never got together. Also Dick and Kori had recently broken up. (Feel free to make up a reason.)

Due to a misunderstanding Dick is going to help his time displaced “son” adjust to the new reality.
