jojo’s bizarre fantasy au BECAUSE I LOVE PART 5 AUGHHHHHHHHH

i rewatched the entirety of part five in the span it took to make this. Details about the lore and characters below the cut ^_^

Ok. I will be separating this based on character… in an attempt to be more organized. Included will also be my friend’s description that she gave for each character upon seeing the drawing.

Giorno Giovanna — Race, half vampire. Stand name, Gaia. Unfortunately lost his silly victory rolls, which have been replaced with donut shaped curls. Has a dream of usurping the Crimson King and ending his oppressive reign.

Friend’s Description: “‘pink is still manly for this era guys trust’”

Trish Una — Race, human(?). Stand name, Spice. I like to think she tries to maintain an air of elegance and superiority, but she’s just a kid who doesn’t particularly want to be in the situation she’s in. The princess of an underground kingdom? No way. She just wants to be Trish.

Friend’s Description: “Noblelady”

Guido Mista — Race, human. Stand name, Coitus Cluster (good god the creative juices are NOT flowing). Best archer, like, ever. Probably enjoys animal furs but is too broke to get any. Stinky loser.

Friend’s Description: “Robin hood.”

Pannacotta Fugo — Race, elf. Stand name, Purple Death. Former nobleman and still dresses like it. Had to limit the holes in his clothes because he is, unfortunately, not immune to being sunburn.

Friend’s Description: “totally not a vampire”

Bruno Bucciarati — Race, human. Stand name, Strings of Fate. I love him. He’s the love of my life. I may or may not have put the most effort into his outfit. He’s so beautiful. No notes. Also, since zippers weren’t invented till like… mid 1800’s, rather than zippers, he uses strings!!! Tugs on ‘em the way you would a loose hem…

Friend’s Description: “Italian nobleman”

Leone Abbacchio — Race, drow. Stand name, Rewind. It takes the form of a snake!! Because Moody Blues had them.. neck thangs. I don’t know. Anyways. Abbacchio coulda been drippier, but at the time of drawing I was running low on brain power.

Friend’s Description: “TOTALLY NOT A VAMPIRE”

Narancia Ghirga — Race, human. Stand name, Pheonix. Due to the fact that airplanes did NOT exist prior to some point in the 1900’s, Narancia’s stand is a bird. Probably breathes fire and can detect carbon dioxide… cannot come back from the dead though. Sorry buddy. Also, his left eye is blind from his eye infection. Sorry again buddy.

Friend’s Description: “peasant working on a merchant ship”

AND FINALLY:

Diavolo — Race, Demon. The Crimson King. He took FOREVER to draw. Especially those tattoos. I tried to make his color scheme salvageable, but seeing as I was working with Diavolo’s actual color scheme… it is not the best. Diavolo used to have wings as well, but after an incident that prompted him to go underground, they’re gone. He hides in the body of a halfling named Vinegar Doppio… though they are two completely separate entities.

Friend’s Description: “Dante’s homosexual Inferno”

First Post and I'm stuck on the idea of being isekaid into LU with your best friend. Here's of my thoughts about the shenanigans. -

Legend: Why are we bringing them along? *pointing towards the two humans fighting each other*

Friend: WHY WON'T YOU LET ME KISS YOU?! IM YOUR BEST FRIEND I HAVE PRIVILEGES?!

Y/N: I'D RATHER DRINK AN ENTIRE BOTTLE OF HAND SANITISER BEFORE YOU LAY YOUR LIPS ON ME!

Time: ...

Y/N: *pointing at Legend* He looks like he bites.

Twilight: He probably does.

Hyrule: He does.

Warriors: I was bit.

Sky: I witnessed it.

Legend: What is wrong with her?

Sky: What do you mean?

Legend: I told her a story about fighting a boboklin and she replied by saying, "dead-ass." What does that even mean?

Hyrule: I got a hug from her after healing her.

Twilight: I got kisses from her as Wolfie.

Warriors: I got praised by her for my strength.

Wind: I get all her attention!

Legend: I got asked why my hair is pink.

Legend: You're so useless! You can't fight! Can't heal! God, why are you so useless to the group?

Y/N: First of all, I won't be sassed by man wearing a skirt. Go frolic in a field of daisies if you're so upset.

Four: I can't believe that the Minnish numbers are dwindling in the future! Just look at them! *holds up hands cupped*

Y/N: *not seeing anything in his hands* Okay sweetie, I think that's enough for today. Let's go take a nap, okay? *concerned*

Twilight: On the ranch I had to wrestle some Ordon Goats whenever they go on rampages.

Y/N: I believe that, you're built like a shit brick house. You don't just get that figure by sitting and doing nothing.

Y/N: You ever wonder if the wind is trying to tell us something, but we just forgot how to listen to it?

Time: I just want you to stop saying weird shit.

Wind: *slightly panicked at the thought*

Four: How do you keep on doing this?!

*Flashback*

Y/N: You think that you could cut a bolder in half by trying some breathing technique?

Wild: I have no idea what you're talking about, but I'm invested.

Y/N: Oh yeah. I have like Iron deficiency and so sometimes when I stand up to fast I get flashbanged. I'm also prone to blackouts as well.

Hyrule: *concerned noises*

Four: Remind me to keep an eye on you.

Friend: I wonder how humans taste like?

Y/N: Research has shown that most of the food that we eat contain human DNA. So just think about how chicken burgers tastes like from McDonalds.

Friend: So like chicken then?

Y/N: Pretty much.

Twilight: *overheard their conversation* WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!

*Four and Time looking at Y/N and Friend*

Four: Have you ever noticed how they don't talk to each other. They just pull faces and make noises.

Time: Maybe it's a human thing?

Hey guys I have a favour to ask

Please do not reblog Jojos post about the patreon with complaints and disappointment.

Everything everyone is saying is valid. Your fears and concerns- the disappointment because you can't afford it- is so important

Your thoughts are important and so are you

It is very unfair to Jojo, however, to see those reblogs- with half support and half negativity.

Everyone is worried about the fandom- what it means that we might not be able to see some content- that we won't know how to handle some people knowing things before others can

But I would ask that you express those concerns on your own blogs, perhaps not even under the Lu tags.

I know your intentions are good. There is no denying that we all care. But these statements are inherently negative no matter how well meant.

No problems will go away by ignoring it- by just shutting up about it.

What I fear right now is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Most concerns are about the fandom- about there being division, a sense of "elitism".

But if we're worried about division, then we will only make it happen by arguing about it.

We should turn to unity. We can work to make this positive.

Obviously no one will share what is on the patreon before it is public. But we can still share in the wonderful excitement and discussions following updates! We should agree to have just as much joy in what we love.

We should agree for there to be no bragging- only excitement when everyone can see it, that we can share our thoughts just as well as we always could.

This is a huge step for Jojo. In motivation and getting rewarded for years of hard work. In helping her to continue what takes so much time.

We've all read big project fanfictions where the author had to stop. I find this extremely reassuring as to an underlying fear I know we've all had.

Linkeduniverse is wonderful and loved. Now we have more certainty that Jojo means to see this through- to carry out what was never intended to be a story starting out.

I get it. I am so scared too. I'm scared for the fandom and I'm scared for me. There is no way I can afford it. I may not ever be able to.

I'm scared to even make this post- to say my opinion and ask something of others

This is amazing and wonderful. I think everyone agrees that we are so proud of Jojo for taking such a big step for herself.

Another day another LU analysis with me!

Dawn 9 is here and with it the end of the next arc of the LU comic is done!

This update did a lot and is also a full 10 pages long! So there's a bunch to unpack!

The letters!

So, Twilight, four and Time all appeared to get letters, with Time getting multiple (More on that later)

Twilights reaction to the super sale was my reaction while playing TP (I recently finished it for the first time! :D) when they opend the store in castle town. Every time i couldnt get there to get potions i was low key gutted.

And Four. Four's grandpa is a mood and i hope we get to meet him.

But... I, as a part of the The team is heading to Skyloft next, team. Believe that Sun has done this on purpose. (Or that the Skyloftians dont have the mail system for him to retrieve anything) but i like to think its the first one.

Hmmm.... Time got multiple letters. (That takes care of the letter discrepancy)

Twi asking about the ranch, Time looking to one of the letters. This tells me one of two things.

The letter he's looking to could be from Malon, and he's genuenly not concerned.

or The letter he's looking at isnt from malon. Infact, by the way he's looking at it i think its from his Zelda. Possibly a report about black bloods in his time period. (As last time we see them in Time's era. They dont actually fight anything)

Twilight being cheeky and Time's dad face are giving me life.

But... as we know, Time is Twilights direct decendant only by a few generations at most. With the infomation we have from Twilight princess with Shade. And from jojo with Time and Twilight. I'm seeing this conversation as more of a father and son conversation over brothers.

And the rest of this conversation follows this same pattern. Twilight is very much being scolded. He's biting back with what he see's as Time's own words. (not that time know's as such)

Twilight looks genuenly shocked to hear this.

From the hero's shade (Time) in twilight princess.

And I'm convinced that theres going to be something bad happens to time directly after the end of the LU timeline.

Time is missing an eye. So we know that Shade and Time are closer together than the hero of time (In game). SO.... If time dosent Die on the adventure with the chain. I'm almost convinced he does almost right after he returns back to his time.

The armour is almost identical. He has most of the scaring which lines up....

If the helmet turns up, then i think Time dies during this adventure. It's the only thing i can see as missing.

Twilight.... Now i think Twilight thinks that the gods are giving him an opportunity to save the hero of time from dying to become the heros shade. but thats the funky thing about timetravel.

(Depending on how Jojo and LU time travels works.)

I believe that the timetravel in LU solidifies the adventures of the other links. And that nothign that occours in this adventure impacts their adventures. Even if something was changed it wouldnt change the past.

IE - Twilight breaking his shadow crystal wouldnt mean that wild didnt remember having the wolf on his adventure - as its already happened.

(I hope that makes sense. - time travel is confusing i see it as an alternative timeline type thing)

It also makes a lot of sense. If Sky is the slowest of the group(Again not confirmed but we have had jokes about his stamina), it makes sense to put him at the front to maintain pace of the group. Stops people going too fast and prevents people from being left behind.

Which i might add has already happened. (Warriors and Hyrule im looking at you.)

We just need to read the boss partterns for a bit so we can then decide how to fight it. You know, like we did when we were in our adventures and had to figure out boss mechanics.

Important that hyrule is saying this as his game is arguably one of the hardest. He probably spent a long time on each boss learning attack patterns.

Hey bestie, dropping by with a mea culpa. When Peaceful Property started, you expressed concern that GMMTV was inching toward a model of using bl pairs in shows that would avoid being explicitly gay but still draw on shipping fandom to be successful. Coming off The Trainee, which was not a bl but did have expIicitly queer characters and romance subplots, I wasn't sure the intentions were quite that dark for PP, but having now finished it and seen the way some in the production have interacted with shipper fans, I have to call it: you were right to be concerned. At no point was this show ever a bl and none of its principal characters are canonically queer, but they successfully leveraged the TayNew ship to have fans interacting with it as if it was in fact a gay love story, that idea and fan commentary was explicitly encouraged by the creators, and the show has been quite successful despite never actually delivering on all the TayNew bait. I'm definitely concerned that we might have somehow swung back around to queerbaiting being seen as acceptable and good, as long as it features popular branded pairs. I don't have any bigger thoughts to offer about how this should be addressed, but just wanted to come back and say you were valid for naming that!

But I am not gonna lie, seeing the posts about the finale did regnite the massive fury I had at this project when it was first called a bromance. So I am going to use your ask as an opportunity to vent.

FOR THE RECORD: I am not mad at you, or at the people and mutual on my dash that have enjoyed the show and are claiming as gay out of spite. My anger is at GMMTV and at GMMTV alone.

THEY DID THIS SHIT TWICE ALREADY!!! Back to fucking back.

I know High Schoool Frenemy is being watched by like 5 people on tumblr. But it's doing well outside of tumblr. They are using bl style fanservice with the 2 main boys of that show. I have seen the shippy content and compilations along with the other bl couples. Not to mention people like Jojo saying those characters are the his new favorite ship on twitter.

AND I AM SO PISSED!!!!

I am glad you brought up TayNew because there is no doubt in my mind that they used TayNew for Peaceful Property as a test. They knew there could be backlash. They knew the bl fandom could have rioted. But they also knew that if it that rage would have been directed at TayNew not at the director, not the company but TAYNEW.

And I think TayNew knew this. Because they spend weeks on social media doing preintive damage control, I have seen the posts of them (or at least New) saying it wasn't going to be romantic. I don't think the two of them forgot how they were left to eat the shit alone over the bullshit backlash during the TayGun kiss situation with GMMTV doing fuck all for them.

And what pisses me off is that BL audience didn't even give a backlash. They eat that shit up like it was fucking icecream.

The BL audience is literally doing their job for them. They are taking a show with some gay subtext and running with it.

They are showing up for the fanservice (again broder audience outside of tumblr), and gleefully closing their eyes and ears and saying well I Think It's Gay.

What do you think Mega Corporation GMMTV is going to take from the success and no backlash? If the answear is anything but: We can produce half of the BLs as usual and make the rest Bromances, you have more faith in corporations then I do.

Because Bromances can be watched by non BL audiences as well. The BL niche is a big one, but it is still a niche.

And now they won't even have to bother inserting arguable quality gay commentary or struggles or homophobia. Or any gay kissing, no more workshops. No more worries about how effective these potential straight boys are going to be at playing gay. All they have to do is making them do fanservice, and they are great at training people for that. Or better yet, actually use one or two ships that have kissed before and done actual BLs.

Will they stop doing BL at all, obviously not, you gotta give the BL audience something to remind them they can still show boys kissing, and we have the Ex Morning and Jojo that will never actually stop making BLs and some gay shit. But if in the next line up we will more bromances, and eventually we get half BL and half bromances I wouldn't be surprised.

Of course maybe I am just pessimistic and cynical. Maybe the proto bdsm in the heart killers is enough to persuade people that I am totally wrong. I guess we will see about that.

Thanks again for the ask and the oppurtunity to vent a little. Again I don't fault anyone for enjoying this, it was design to get the BL audience watching.

I will personally be keeping with my own resolution and never watch another gmmtv show live ever again, maybe binge the few that sound interesting and that's it.

At least I can find comfort in the idea that that other companies do not have the same level of BIG cast of boys and big budget to do the same thing and follow in the bromance trend.

Headcanon Time Part 3

Okay so, we all know that in a lot of media, such as Ao3 or even Tumblr or whatever, we portray Hyrule with healing abilities. BUT, I don't think he really has a spell like that. Let me explain.

When we see him in LU, when the boys get hurt in that one minific JoJo posted, we don't see Hyrule hounding on everybody about being stupid or healing them or whatever. In fact, I don't think Hyrule knows the first thing about being a medic! (and yes, I have used him as a healer before as well, but I've done some thinking now)

While I'm not saying him knowing how to be a medic is a bad thing, the headcanon is great, I think the headcanon that he has no idea what he's doing seems to fit better.

Okay, back to the explanation. So, in LU, Hyrule did use a healing spell, but he called it the Life Spell. And from what we saw, he doesn't seem to use it often, and that instance seems to be the first time within LU. Plus, it uses a LOT of his magic, hence the MULTIPLE empty magic potion bottles. You could argue some of them were red potions, but that still leaves close to half of the many bottles surrounding a PASSED OUT HYRULE being magic potions.

There's also the fact we see them using fairies in LU to be healed, and red potions (I think I've seen a couple), but never MAGIC. At least not out right.

So instead of Hyrule being a medic, I think he has no knowledge of it at all, which would explain why he wasn't even close to Wild when Wild got hit in the head, but who was? WARRIORS. Warriors was down on his knees supporting him and checking for signs of life.

So, the quick summary: Hyrule is not medic, not even close. Other than his Life Spell, he doesn't have the ability to heal, and his Life Spell is for life or death instances only. Instead, Warriors is their group medic, the one who does most of the casting, bandaging, and other such things. Legend is next for medic stuff, but only after learning from Warriors, as there is no way he knew what to do before besides red potions.

Was originally planning on finishing more before I posted, so far I only have the pieces of Four done as well as 4 others but for awhile I've been planning an LOZ Nier crossover and then when I got into Linked Universe by @jojo56830 I switched from just LOZ to LU and now that I have my own AU I decided to just go crazy with it and make a massive LoZ/Nier crossover. Specifically Nier Automata. I currently have a list of the Links from: @linkeduniverse, @lozriftsintime, and my AU @linked-history.

I'd love to add more Link Meets AUs to this massive idea but haven't gotten too far in it. If you have any Links Meet AUs that you'd like me to attempt please let me know.

I may make some specific references for each design and go into other specifics like the designations I gave the Links and my thoughts behind my choices.

For Four I tried to make them each look unique while still looking like a cohesive group as Jojo does in LU. For this I gave them all the half jacket like garments that are the top most layer.

I also stepped away from using the black palette that the anbroids in Nier Automata are known to wear as with all the Links that I plan to include I wanted to avoid them becoming a large black mass should I decide to draw any of them in a large group. One or two together would've been fine but it I drew any more then 4 together I wanted it to be clear where each was.

I will explain the designations/labels that I picked for each one if/when I do their solo references because I don't want to add too much for this first post.

-tomoko listens to Britney Spears when she cleans her house

-tonio sends okuyasu “left over” (freshly cooked, made expressly for this purpose) meals a few times a week

-koichi’s mom invites Rohan over for dinner fairly often (he accepts occasionally)

-Golden Wind-

-narancia’s favorite thing to do is listen to music with his friends and just chill

-he has playlist for all of them

-he likes to sit upside down in chairs (supposedly helps him focus ((he just does it because he can)))

-nara ikes to have other people read to him because he’s better at remembering it that way (usually fugo reads to him)

-giorno isn’t super good at video games, but he gets very serious and into them regardless

-fugo and trish used to not get along very well, but now they just bicker at each other for fun

-they read crappy YA novels together!!!!

-fugo has a copy of divergent he added commentary in the margins of, and long rants at the end of the book (he stuck extra paper in)

-he did this to try and get mista to read divergent (it worked ((mista hated it)))

-that copy was passed around the whole group so it has a bunch of notes from everyone

-fugo keeps all his books in stacks and low bookshelves because he dislikes the way ceiling-high bookshelves loom over him

-fugo genuinely had it out for abbachio when he first joined Bruno’s gang, to the point that he would try and get him in trouble with bruno for no reason

-abbachio lets Trish do his makeup sometimes

-abbachio will sleep in all day, and if he’s ever up early it’s because he never went to bed at all

-Stone ocean-

-weather and anasui will usually try and get extra breakfast (or save some of theirs) to give to emporio

-emporio likes FNAF

-he makes his friends play horror games with him (jolyne and anasui mostly, because jolyne is good at them, and anasui screams like a little girl)

-Steel Ball Run-

-diego is effected by cold and heat more since he developed his stand

-he occasionally gets the extreme urge to chew on something (or more specifically to eat a rock), however save the times he is fully in his dinosaur form or close to it, his teeth aren’t strong enough to eat them :[

-which is why his gloves have many pinprick holes in them from where he chews on the extra fabric around his fingers

-diego is a total nerd about anything animal related and will happily info dump at any opportunity, but somehow still be prissy about it

-gyro is consistently baffled by at least half of the phrases that Johnny says, because he doesn’t know what they mean

-gyro saws some serious logs in his sleep (he snores very loudly)

-he has a journal he’s really secretive about

Important Announcement!

Hello everyone! I’ve been doing some thinking over the last couple of days and have decided to separate the Chain as Cryptids au from Linked Universe. The more I create for it and the more I really think about it, the more I realize that it’s not Linked Universe. And really, I don’t know if it ever was.

It started as a way to play around with the Links that I was familiar with, inspired by Jojo’s Linked Universe, but as I started writing more for it and redesigning characters, I fully can’t call it Linked Universe anymore.

I just spent the last two and a half hours retagging my posts, but there was a lot of ground to cover, so please let me know if you find any mistakes! I’ve been so incredibly nervous about this- again, this is something that’s been bothering me for a while. This story is completely unique to LU, and I hope you understand why I’m going this.

I also think that it’s unfair to Jojo and all of the fans of Linked Universe for me to continue to tie my au to that story. Cioccolata IMHO

I've seen a lot of different opinions about Cioccolata under my previous post and now I want to leave my personal one about him.

🟢I'll start with the fact I adore his entire structure, from his name to his abilities, everything harmonizes very well with each other, this kind of chocolate medical mold (hilarious!) is memorable

🟢Green Day is generally my first love, my journey into the world of rock began with this band

🟢Speaking about the idea, I'm really attracted to the type of doctor-killer. Like think about it, to go to medical school, not to treat, but to kill 😂😂😂 This is the madness I adore, he really thinks differently from everyone else 🧐

🟢But I want to note if it weren't for Cioccolata's backstory, he would be no different from the same Mista or Giorno and would remain a background villain for two episodes (which is almost the case) 🤷‍♀️

Seriously. Do you think Mista wouldn't kill half of Rome to achieve his goal? I doubt it. In the end, we are talking about the mafia world, where there are no good and bad. But we're getting off topic...

🟢I like that in any case, he will remain himself. Like take away his Stand, he will still remain dangerous - take away Giorno's Stand.... Giorno will remain an emotionless brat without abilities.🐞

🟢Also JoJo's age rating prevents us from learning more about Cioccolata, 🤔I'm sure that he would do WORSE things than just pseudo-healing. I'll even dare to compare him to the doctor from the Human Centipede (he would do the same thing, I'm sure!!!)

🟢In conclusion, I will say that he is a great, memorable character, but there are some weird unrealistic moments, like how a doctor works under red lighting all alone with a straight face?😂 At least a surgeon has an anesthesiologist and medical staff, Cioccolata, what the hell? 🤣🤣🤣 But okay, that's what it is.

Do roller pigeons bred to larger breeds help to shrink a line? And how is the personality of a roller pigeon as a breeder bird for a companion project

Birmingham rollers are pretty small, so yeah, breeding one to a larger bird will make offspring smaller than the larger parent, but larger than the roller parent.

Cookie, who has her Dad's over all structure, thickened by her Mom, with a forehead more in between them and a beak more like her dad's.

She mated to

Wilson (Racing Homer)

and they threw

Tandy, who could easily be mistaken for a purebred homer.

See, Racing homers are the most natural pigeon shape, only altered from the wild rock dove by the size of its head and slope of its forehead.

Tandy took

Emillio (Portuguese Tumbler) as her first mate. (She's has a few!)

Portuguese Tumblers are the second smallest breed of pigeon in the world.

The title of world's smallest pigeon is traded between Portuguese Tumblers and Valencian Figurita practically every other year, but figs are typically more slight, so I consider Ports the second smallest.

Generally, the babies of a pair with a wide size difference will favor the mother, but in this clutch, we see the whole range.

Thistle (First hatch, cock) Is smaller than Tandy, but takes more after her in size.

Elliot (Second hatch, hen) was much closer to Emillio in size, as well as overall structure.

Thistle mated to

And absolute bitch of a Racing homer named MJ.

It took them four tries to throw

Nettle.

Riddle came out of Clutch 5

And Mipha from clutch 6.

These all being mostly homer, they didn't vary much from Tandy's build.

Nettle was the one I kept.

Elliot took

Leonard (Birmingham Roller) as a mate.

Birmingham Rollers come in a wide range of sizes, depending on their blood line, but good "deep rolling" lines tend to be very small, and Leonard is a tiny bird.

Jojo (cock), being half Birminghan Roller and 1/4 Portuguese Tumbler, was also a teeny tiny bird.

Patch (Cock, Whom I kept)

And Rogue (hen) were clutch 2.

Bluebird (hen) was clutch 3

Athena (Hen, kept)

And Calypso (hen) were clutch 4.

Sweet, snuggly Bijoux (hen) was clutch 5.

and Shinobi (hen) was clutch 6.

They were also very uniform in structure and color, all shaped mostly like their Birmingham Roller sire.

Tandy's second mate was

Cherub (Seraphim dad, Classic Old Frill mom, still technically full Seraphim, since that breed was developed from the COF)

They threw

Scan

And Nimbus (Kept).

In their first clutch. Both cocks.

Berry (hen) was clutch 3.

Moth (cock) was clutch 4.

All four were a pretty consistently even blend in size and shape between the Seraphim and Homer build.

Elliot also mated to

Satin (Danzig x Racing Homer) (Cotta and Taffeta's Dad)

and threw

Artemis, who, interestingly, ended up with build and color very similar to Elliot's children out of Leonard.

Slightly more sloped forehead than her half siblings.

WAY more outgoing temperament.

Patch mated to

Spangle, a tiny Birmingham Roller hen.

And threw me Banner.

There are more birds in this family, but Tumblr will only let me fit 30 photos in one post, and this should be a pretty detailed representation of how size and structure traits are passed on.

What the Chain thinks about a Modern! Reader using slang/meme references:

Time

• I believe that Time being the oldest of the Links is old school/traditional when talking.

• He's using real medieval talk, things like saying "Salutations/greetings, my friend." Instead of just saying a simple, "Hi/ Hey, how you doing bud?"

• He's the type of guy to not use too many abbreviations when he talks. Things like saying, "cannot" instead of "can't." He just radiates that energy.

• So, him meeting a Modern! Reader would be ... quite the interaction. The first time meeting reader would've startled him as they use slang and just throwing him for a loop.

• He's kind of like the cat with the buffering wheel on its forehead, but that's only whenever reader speaks or opens their mouth.

• He gets one of the younger incarnations to translate to him as reader joins the group on their adventure.

• He'll try his best to understand the terms the more he grows on the reader.

• As for memes tho - no. Just straight up no. He doesn't understand them or the readers broken humour. Gremlin humour he gets but the idea that reader bursts out laughing while looking at something remotely close or similar to meme just makes him worry.

• He will however try and use some of the terms when he talks, but he just ends up butchering them or using them incorrectly. He sounds like the hip dad trying to stay in touch with the kids.

• 6.5/10 He tries to understand/learn readers slang and that's just sweet. He would've scored higher if he wasn't that dad.

Twilight

• Twilight - similar to Time - is more old school when talking. He's not as uptight as Time and does use abbreviations when talking and he slurs some of his words sometimes.

• The fandom has established that he's got an accent and it makes it harder to understand him when he talks sometimes.

• Poor guy thought it was the same for you when he first heard you use slang. He genuinely thought it was just an accent.

• He doesn't always understand, but he's quicker than Time to learn what you mean. He's the one to sometimes translate what you say to Time after Wild explains it to him first  and half the time it's incorrect though does Wild do it on purpose? Maybe.

• He's the one to ask Wild in his spare time about some of the terms and how to use them when talking to try and impress you.

• With memes though ... he also buffers. Modern! Reader would make even the slightest reference to a meme and he'll sit and buffer for a bit before asking. Its funnier when he's Wolfie.

• He finds certain memes to be funny though. Cowboy memes or any farm memes would tickle his funny bone.

• He's a 7.5 or 8/10 because he's a sweetheart and uses his free time to try and get closer to Modern! Reader even if it's just by using some slang.

Warriors

• I'd imagine him having a bit of a higher education since he's a knight and having travelled with Athena to other kingdoms. He would use the military lingo and the more posh Hylian/upper class Hylian.

• He talks proper and sometimes pronounces words a little different. Almost like he's got a fancy British accent.

• He's taken back by the loose words reader uses some confuse him leading to him asking questions.

• He's actually one of the Links that's more interested in learning slang and memes from readers world.

• He's a bit more open to readers world and the quirks that come with it other than just the slang.

• He tries to figure out the slang by taking in the entire sentence and trying to figure it out. He's definitely the cool uncle when he uses slang and correctly.

• He's Time's other translator when Twilight isn't around.

• Warriors actively stays quiet whenever reader talks because he does like how well slang rolls off readers tongue.

• He wouldn't fancy the meme references all that much, but he tries and keeps an open mind.

• Warriors does make bets with Legend about some of the terms and what they mean or how Time will react to reader using more slang/meme references through the day. He'll sometimes egg reader on with any military memes especially the Area 51 memes.

• Overall he's a solid 8/10.
