hello i have turned the princess from pmh into a magical girl-esque inspired design. it came to me in a vision and i was Compelled.

pluck my heartstrings and the princess's original design are by @pluck-heartstrings

iiiiii dont really know how i feel about this one rn tbh . all i can really see rn are the errors but 💀💀 i dont think its dogshit but its hitting some part of my brain thats like "hey dawg. what is that." here are the closeups ,,,,, im really happy w the hand that you can see the full back of. i kinda like the sketch more, but hey what artist doesnt feel that way about their work.

i had three intial sketches when brainstorming for the final of this; my friends told me to do the fullbody one because they really liked it, and after sleeping on it i went with that. however i am a big fan of the olive green sketch and i dont know yet if im going to repurpose that for either another princess drawing or something else entirely

hhhhhhhhere is the design in full (both shaded and unshaded). i was originally going to just leave it at that, doodling a design and leaving it be, but i really wanted to try a full illust of it so . thats how we got here. you can see some bits changed in the final piece but it stayed relatively the same. the ribbons flowing in the back arent connected to anything, except that front chest gem. that design bit is inspired by kokomi from genshin impact.

this is the first piece ive really used reference collages for; but i find that it really did help me with the process, ESPECIALLY with the posing refs for the final. it allowed me to have all the poses i thought were cool in one place so i could attempt to smash them together several times without having to flip between 6 images constantly. i would . reccommend it !

👸Princess and Magician🧙

YAY! I made some sketches on the author's AU @pluck-heartstrings

I liked this story so much that I have a little courage to imagine if my character was present in a similar AU. I imagine Bella as a magician-conjurer, like Merlin in King Arthur. She entertains children with tricks and handicrafts (Bella: create various trash that parents will not save) + small shows with the presence of other animatronics. Secret note: She has a hook on her lower back hidden by a bow

I stick to my version of the AU, where she was an employee of a pizzaplex and her soul accidentally got into this robot. On the plus side, her remnant charges the robot well, so she needs to charge often haha.

Since I am a fan of the Princess and the y/n, so Bella actively helps her and feeds her with coupons for almost free food and merch. She is not so afraid to steal a trinket for the reader from the warehouse, since a dead person has nothing to be afraid of.

+ my character is also a singer, but not so strong in opera, but the voice modules correct false (I don't think that perfect singing is so important to Faz Corp, it is important for the role of the Princess). Double opera hurray and more of an entertainment show in the style of King Arthur, his knights, Merlin and Morgana. The main bonus: jesters.

A little later I will make more sketches for the role of my character, but she plays more of a secondary role, where she sits in her fortune-telling tent and creates a plan to escape from the new plex to which she was brought. After all, the previous one burned down, and a month before this incident she was taken out of the building for a systems check. She is made by a private company, so FazCo owns 50 percent of the rights to the robot.

Ik Eclipse is only in your "actual medieval times" AU but. What if in the main fic Fazco decides for extra drama to give Monty a sorcerer companion who's a long lost brother of the attendants' and he does magic shows and stuff during the tournaments. And one of his Things is flirting with the Princess. Thoughts?

You can't just say this. My brain gets carried away so easily, I can easily see this happening. I won't/CAN'T add it to the fic canon because it would mess with the plot too much BUT!!!!

Medieval Times Eclipse, on the Invader's side, would be a whole new light show/magic show to take over the non-existent falconer's intermission.

The lights in the arena would go crazy and the sorcerer would make his dramatic entrance in a puff of smoke. He'd point his staff at the Princess and the jesters would crumple to the floor beside her, revealed to be his automatons from the beginning. Thus would begin a battle of magic vs song, where the Princess could only use her voice to drown out the sorcerer's chanting, urging the audience to sing with her to combat the evils that threaten her kingdom.

With the audience, her people, her lords and ladies, the sorcerer would be defeated but only temporarily. He'd vow to return night after night, gleeful and menacing, until the day that the audience fails her and she falls to his clutches.

He vanishes with a triumphant laugh, and sneaks around the corners of the atrium after the performance. Lucky guests will be able to spot him and call the Knights to thwart him, but he always vanishes before the Knights can get to him. (he uses the hard-to-spot staff corridors to get around) It becomes a side mission for all the young guests of Castle Faz.

The Royal Jesters wake with no memories of their master, and the Princess pities her Royal Attendants and doesn't tell them the truth, vowing all witnesses to secrecy.

So, I was curious about this tidbit from the Patch 5 notes and I haven't seen anyone talk about it. Turns out one of my favourite new bits of content related to my favourite character is hidden behind betraying her in the most horrid way possible. Ugh.

It used to be that if you sided with Lorroakan in the Nightsong quest, you, him, and all the elemental myrmidons (and possibly Rolan) would just fight Aylin alone - a fight that obviously lasted one round, tops, and I think could only serve to make you feel bad about what you've just done.

Now, however, a really cool thing happens - Mum Gets Fucking Pissed. And four of Aylin's cool older celestial cousins (a nice new take on Slivers for my ol' 3e heart) come down to help her in the fight.

Amusingly, they put Aylin in timeout in a moon-flavoured Globe of Invulnerability every turn, which also makes her unable to attack or do much, even with her trusty moonbeam.

So you need to break their concentration (often on more than one of them at a time) in order to be able to even touch Aylin. Everyone being very angry and protective of her is A+++.

A good roll of that 12d12 can just delete characters instantly. Beautiful.

Aylin also gets some very direct buffs, primarily Hug From Mum, and we have waited far, far too long for that:

I just found this oddly touching, that she gets to have at least this bit of very outright reassurance, even if it is under rather horrible circumstances. And ironic, of course, that if you help her and triumph with her in glorious combat (Lo!) against yet another bastard would-be captor, she doesn't, and is left to grapple with her anger and doubt and nascent feelings of abandonment:

Player: Let his demise serve as a warning to anyone else who'd seek you out. Dame Aylin: Let him be the last. If my dear mother has any mercy, she will ensure it. [Trying to stay her usual self, but her mask is cracking a tiny bit here. Privately, Aylin is dealing with a great deal of anger toward her mother, the goddess Selûne, but she's not yet willing to face it. How could her powerful mother let all this happen to her?]

tianwang and colours

teaser photos of this week's episodes were released and i couldn't stop staring at jiang tian and sheng wang's clothes.

@respectthepetty shared a brilliant post on the drama's colour theory, especially pertaining to the colours jiang tian and sheng wang are wearing or associated with. [thanks so much op for the insightful and beautifully written post ^^]

so, in this photo, jiang tian and sheng wang (maybe) are having a study date outside of school (and they look so domestic and cute and UGH). however, i do notice that jiang tian wears a darker shade of brown while sheng wang wears something lighter.

directly quoting from op's post, "One is light, and the other is dark. One is the sun, and one is the moon. One is warm, and one is cool."

we're so used to seeing jiang tian in dark-coloured clothes (black, grey, blue) while sheng wang always wears something light/bright (orange, white, red, yellow). i think it's such a nice detail to be added in this drama and also jiang tian and sheng wang's characters, considering the progress of their relationship.

i guess, it's showing us how sheng wang has brought light into jiang tian's life, and now he's no longer drenched in only darkness. he still wears darker colours than sheng wang, but it doesn't have that usual gloominess. i think sheng wang balances jiang tian's darkness, and it's just so beautiful to witness this in the upcoming episodes.

and don't get me started on the matching bracelets.....

if my eyesight isn't deceiving me, jiang tian is blue and sheng wang is yellow/brown? again, op uses the motif 'the sun and the moon' to represent jiang tian and sheng wang and i think it's the most accurate representation of their personality.

even though the sun and the moon don't collide, they still belong to the same sky.

i honestly can't wait to see the shift in their relationship. since the walls between them are no longer high, will they finally be united? will there be more than just this feeling of wanting to be closer? what will happen in episode 7 that leads to them wearing these matching bracelets?

so many questions are left unanswered. we just have to wait and see.
