Ahaha!!! Here it's!! My fucked up guy!! Project 09 officially has a physical form :]

My weirdo fucking guy, anyway I randomly got possessed yesterday and drew this whole thing after months of agonizing over not knowing where to even start. Of course disclaimer I know nothing abt character design or robots, I just, put things my brain said good👍together and hope for the best

His twin Tails being the literal bane of his existance, for his whole short life, so of course at first he considered ridding off them completely, until an idea struck. What better than to turn them into deadly twin weapons he can decide just how painfull they should be at any given moment. Very much inspired by the Murder Drones nano tails things.

Now of course 09 is not big on combat and preffers just the rewards after the affair, but he's not an idiot to go without a weapon or two if he really has to throw a punch. Claws are pretty obvious, and than I rembered Sevika and her cool robot arm with a fucking sword in it, so I gave 09 a knife.

On his left hand I was considering an arm cannon but, I say 09 would appreciate two functional hands to tinker with.

Hes ambidextrous, but still prefers his right hand to do most things as his left was left, mostly, organic. Which he has complicated feelings about

The shut down mode has been first conceived in this post, but hey isn't it fucked up, the realization that most of your body doesn't belong to you at the end of the day? That someone else can decide to shut off or puppeteer it around whenever and however they please? That the only thing you can trully control is your right ear, left shoulder, and increasing need to breathe faster? All it takes is one fuck up and any autonomy is gone.

hey guys so I just started reading Flatland by Edwin A. Abbott and OMG AHSBNSBSBSNSNBSHZHSHDBFHGGHFHGRJ2KSHSBSNSK AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I LOVE THINKING ABOUT THE RELATIVITY BETWEEN DIMENSIONS!!!!!!

#probably the nerdiest thing i will ever read in my entire life but I AM SO HAPPY #Its the unabridged and corrected 1992 republication btw. if you wanna get specific #the only book in which i have actually decided to read the introductory notes and i do NOT regret it because the editor's one IMMEDIATELY #brought up the “oh but surely the second dimension has thickness how else would flatlanders see anything” AND GAVE A REALLY GOOD ANSWER.#which i cannot tell you here. bc it is several paragraphs long and idk how i would shorten it. i would hit tag limit. if thats a thing.#anyways. I'm only a little bit into the first part which basically explains how Flatland works as a society so i haven't even gotten to the #sphere yet but OH MAN I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED ABOUT A ROUND OBJECT IN MY LIFE #IM LOSING IT OVER THIS BOOK AAAA :D #me: im so glad i dont have a math class during my senior year! now i dont have to learn anything math-related!#also me: but what if i started studying a complex and almost entirely theoretical part of geometry #bc YEAH i didn't just buy this book bc of gravity falls. I saw that post you made about spn it's textual and metaphorical depictions of abuse and stuff. And it made me think, on the other end of the spectrum, spn textually wants and makes it necessary for the Winchesters to defy fate while subtextually often saying it's impossible to defy. The show calls them team free will, but many times when a character tries to use that free will and assess situations/make decisions for themselves it inevitably backfires.

auguhhhhh. YEAH. this is so smart.

#spn is soooo like this in general. asserts things textually and then proceeds to contradict them #it’ll give sam a kickass speech about taking control of his own life and doing what he wants but also narratively frame him as selfish #constantly whenever he does so….. etc etc. augh #it’s so like. hashtag when a show is a certain level of bad that it circles back around to feeling good. because it just feels vaguely meta #im always like. maybe narrative works to undermine the characters all fhe time cause in spn narrative = god textually and god = evil #textually. tho i haven’t finished the show and will think proplerly on that once i have like actually Met god <3 #spn #asks #such a good point op….#oliver talks

people who love to nitpick every little thing in sonic media and act like it's good criticism need to stop going "ummm why doesn't he just run. it's faster" every time sonic drives a car for any reason . its because he wants to gave a fun and fair race with his friends OBVIOUSLY . where is your joy and whimsy

#it especially annoys me when people say this about the first sonic movie #because theres like. several very obvious in universe reasons for why hes riding in a car youre just ignoring them #like for one iirc he first got in the car because he couldnt run at the time and tom picked him up put him in there and drove off #second. they literally stopped the car and sonic was given the chance to just run to san francisco #and he said that he didnt know where it was . tom said it was a straight shot there and when sonic tried that he ran into the ocean #so obviously he couldnt just run there on his own #third. sonic very clearly didnt WANT to leave earth he just felt like he had to so it makes sense that he'd take the longer route #and try to delay leaving for as long as he can whether hes actually aware of the fact that hes doing that or not #just because a certain thing seems like the logical choice to you doesnt mesn its the choice fhe character would make #you wanna criticize sonic sooo bad that youre ignoring the very obvious reasons sonic acts the way he does
