commence the recreational essay writing
#you GUYS IM SO PUMPED#giving a five minute book talk in english tmr and i sat down to outline what i was gonna say and i wrote like 4 large paragraphs#which is cool cause i was planning to write an essay for fun about this book but i fear i will need to widdle this down#so it fits in the sparse amount of time i have to talk#and i have to find a blurb about the book to read out loud but i fear if i open the book to look through it i will just end up adding more#since i didnt write the paragraphs with the book open#AAAAAAAAA i havent written anything im proud of in a long while and even tho this is like bare bones and not formatted amazingly im still#happy i got around to writing it#i dunno how much of this will get into the final essay i wanna write because the essay is gonna look at at least 1 more book#and/or three more books but we'll see if they fit the topic well enougg#anyway yay rant over

#lowkey went to see skz today 👀#i should have invested in some opera glasses bc i couldn't see shit....#it was still fun tho i impulse bought a lightstick and it's actually so cool having it sync up 🥹#my crush on bang chan has been resolidified he is so fucking talented and so caring and he just wants to give back everything 10x#the way he walked all the way to the end of each end of the stage multiple times to say hi to people off to each side#also boy can Move like i had my chan goggles on and there were times main dancers were the focus but he was all i could see 🤧#i still think it would have been more fun to go with a friend but i had a way better time than the last kpop concert i went to#everyone in the section i sat in decided to stay seated for most of the concert and i'm So grateful#i would have struggled so much if i'd had to stand for 3 hours and then get back to where i'm staying#like in some ways i wish i'd gotten closer seats but at least i wasn't on the floor forced to stand the whole time#there was a girl in the section next to mine who was possessed by a demon yelling yang jeongin every time there was a moment of silence#it was truly upsetting it sounded like she was actively dying....#i forgot how many skz songs i actually know really well tho they have so many bangers#good gig overall i'm pleased i went ^^

If people send you urls is it most likely because they care. I was looking for some characters the other day from a series I grew up with, and even though I put large into the settings, I could only find 400×400 pixels of certain characters, but I clicked on an image of my favorite character that was on a website the others didn't show up as uploaded at in my search engine, and there I found much bigger ones of all the characters even though the search engine said it only had images of that one character. So please be grateful for people taking the time and effort to find them as they feel like they'd be difficult to find. Maybe they found the illustrator's social media accounts that are under a completely different name and wanted to share. It takes Time and effort to find those urls, you don't have to use them, but please don't be rude about it.
sorry, i wasnt trying to be rude about it. ive genuinely just never used any of them? i get that it takes time but i also spend my own time trying to find good pictures of the characters and making gifs. usually if theyre popular enough i just use the fandom wiki inage gallary but theres plenty of times characters dont have that and i go to the source material to get my own screenshots and make gifs. ive sat through hours of a movie for one character that i knew nothing about in order to get good images of them and be able to make a gif. again, i dont mean to be rude but i also spend a lot of time and energy for this account so please dont discredit that.

at the same time i do feel a lot better than i did like even a few *days* ago, no matter what career and life i end up choosing it'll work out how it's supposed to and i'll enjoy it <3

i miss my little brother
#i haven't seen him in so long#here in greece our summer vacation is for three months#and that guy refuses to stay at home for more than five days istg#he's NINE and is already sick of us what will hr be like when he's my age#he's at our village. and HAS been there for like ten days at least#he's coming back on Wednesday. but before he went there he was at summer camp for two weeks.#bro came back sat at home for three days then dipped again. God damn I'm tired and extra dizzy today, which I've figured out some of why that happens. Evidently that's my reaction to overstimulation fatigue. Good to know, explains a lot. No idea what to do about it and I did expect to have some sucky days after going to San Francisco anyway so it's whatever, but it's nice to have figured out a specific trigger.
Except that's cool and all but I almost couldn't fold laundry today because it involved a lot of looking up and down and that was unnecessarily rough. This was after sleeping like 11 hours because my shit-ass tired-ass brain demanded a hard reboot more or less, and I'm still kind of gross today even so. Kind of glad they rescheduled the root canal I was gonna have Tuesday for like two weeks out, because I am probably not gonna be quite recovered for another week at least and dental work fucks me up also so that would have been an Everything Hurty Syndrome 2x Combo.
Bleh. At least when I'm writing chronic illness/disability it's some own voices legit type ass shit, but does it have to be, because I could do without this. My whole me hurts and nothing seems to help and also turning my head too fast will knock me the hell over. Good times. ✌️😔

HUGE WIN !! one of the ladies at the group brought in a plastic bag full of cotton yarn and I spotted a small crochet hook in there (definitely a size I don't have yet, yay!!) and she was hoping someone would be able to take it off her hands because we don't have a thrift store anymore to give things to, and none of the other ladies were interested so I said I'd love to take it and I'd find a good use for it !!! YIPPEEEE !!
