my hottest nordics take might be that they were children and young teenagers during the height of the viking age and consider it a distant past that is fun to reminisce on sometimes but they don’t remember it very well and they certainly don’t call themselves vikings unless it’s a joke. iceland remembers the best because of the sagas and the long tradition of baðstofulestur but as far as nordensu goes it’s their rough childhoods they dont think about much anymore

There are countless decoration styles, simple is the best, and there is no mistake in that. Taking into account the lighting in the middle room, the color tone of the home is relatively simple, basically gray and white. Except for the background wall of the cabinets and doors and the bedroom, which has a light pink and a light blue background, the other walls are all white. The living room walls are light gray and the floor tiles are light gray. The curtains in the three bedrooms are also mainly gray.

I present you Han's family: Chewbacca, Mallatobuck and Lumpawaroo. And yes, there kinda hippie because I found hilarious the idea of Han growing up with hippie parents. Also the wookies are Slavs, probably from Russia.

So Chewbacca, Chewie, is a mechanical engineering (and technology). And or a) Han is his son from a previous partner or b) Han is adopdet, let me know your thoughts. Anyway Has is not blood related to Malla. Chewie is an amazing dad and partner. And he will be Anakin boss.

Mallatobuck, Malla, singer, songwriter, musician and composer. She's Lando's mom best friend. She has two son, Han and Lumpy, and if you dare to say that Han isn't her son (because she didn't give birth to him) she will destroy you. She and Chewie are super cute together. Malla like take photos.

Han Solo he's 5 years old and a big brother. Han is a nickname, his full name is long and ridiculous like the rest of his family (his name star with Han and if you want I have a list of names for him). He's happy and a little mischievous. Lando is his friend and they always bring chaos to the world.

Lumpawaroo, Lumpy, a little baby, he Born in 2012. He's happy, like flowers and eat.

What else... I don't know if Han should be the only one being Solo and the rest of them having a Russian last name (if you have any suggestions for the last name let me know) or if all of them should be Solo. I kinda like the idea of Han having a different last name and didn't noticed until he's a teenager.

ok its normal person time. so ive been watching these like conspiracy theory debunking videos lately (not a normal person thing to do im sure) but in one i watched today the guy mentioned how atlantis has roots in eugenics and while i am now so full from archaeology knowledge it did unfortunately get me thinkin.

I’ve always juggled the idea of having a modern day AU where Hiccup speaks Spanish. I’m always debating on how to manipulate it though, whether to have him be raised by spanish-speaking guardians, or live next to spanish-speaking neighbors. Haven’t settled on what I’d want to use.

However, I was doing research for another fic, and I thought about the Nordic region. One of my best friends lives in Sweden, and I know she continuously refers to other Nordic countries. Sends me a handful of tiktoks pertaining to them too. But I realized I didn’t know how many there were. I knew there was at least Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. Entonces I googled the full list of the Nordic countries. 

Came to see the others, and then Faroe Islands piqued my eye. Honed my search there. It’s described as a “self-governing ARCHIPELAGO”. Then continued by seeing what languages were spoken there. (insert me laughing deliriously) While Danish is the main language, they teach German, French, and SPANISH in elementary and secondary schools. 

And I’m like

I now have actual evidence what I want to do you guys. And it’s making me giddy. Hiccup speaking spanish here we come.
