I have permission to share who the cover artist is for the Lykos book, and I am excited to announce it will be handled by the wonderful @norapotwora! Who has done so much amazing work on other projects before, as I have seen in the years I have been following this account, so I know that this project is going to come out fantastically.

It won't be for about half a year before the project is started, but I am so excited to announce it now, and when it gets closer to time, to be able to share it with everyone as well!

Two prints by @norapotwora that I bought for my dorm. I was a bit skeptical about buying them at first because there were no reviews of the artist so I want to remedy that for any future customers. I ordered both prints in A3 size and, being that I haven't ordered art prints in the past, expected them to be glossy posters but was pleasantly surprised by the very nice, heavy paper they are printed on. The prints themselves look great and are actually larger then pictured here, (I bought frames that were too big with out matting and too small with it.) Additionally, my camera is not great and the picture I took are a tad blurry but the actual prints look very sharp with excellent color variation. I would defiantly recommend buying prints from the artist and will consider buying more work by them in the future!

I've been pretty quiet for a while because I'm working on the projects I can't share just yet, but the time comes to my annual BOOKING LIST OPENING, which usually take place around October/November.

Drew this up for the #dtiysaddie event a while ago but kept putting off uploading it since I wasn't sure it 'belongs' in this acc... thought I'd throw it out there before even more time passes & it becomes totally irrelevant, hah.

I'm not 100% happy with my execution but totally in love with the concept! Major props to @addieelisabeth for the original design & for hosting the event (and btw- you guys should see @norapotwora's entry- it'll blow you away!) .

I've always liked the idea of basing fantasy creatures / speculative biology critters on current living species, so this was right up my alley! The original piece features a Blue Macaw-themed raptor, but when looking up references I came across a beautiful photo by Jill Nightingale & decided to go with a cross-species bonded pair also featuring a Scarlet Macaw <3
