There are certain moments in life where you know you should’ve gone left instead of right. The proverbial fork in the road. Of course, that whole messy business of hindsight gets in the way. And by the time you’ve made real traction down the path you swore was the right one, you come to find out that you’d been wrong all along.

🦇 Misfortune Cookie Book Review 🦇
Rating: ⭐⭐
❝ "I guess I can't let things rest. It's not good enough for me to just sit back and let these things happen when I know I can be useful." ❞
❓ #QOTD Write a fortune and tag a #Bookstagram friend! ❓ 🦇 Alongside her sister, Lana Lee leaves Cleveland to attend a restaurant convention in sunny California. With the intention of finding ways to help her family's restaurant thrive, she's focused on making the most of the experience, only to get in the (literal) middle of a catfight between a fortune cookie vendor and the journalist who wrote her a scathing review. Lana can't escape tragedy, though; a few hours later, a body drops from the roof where Lana, her sister, and their aunt are attending a swanky party. The body belongs to Aunt Grace's friend—the same journalist who fought with the fortune cookie vendor hours earlier. Can Lana solve the murder and give Aunt Grace the closure she needs?
💜 It's always difficult to dive into a series nine books in, especially with pre-established relationships and closed cases in the MC's recent past. Thankfully, Vivien Chien does a wonderful job of alluding to her previous books without leaving newcomers in the dark. The little hints we receive about her successfully solved cases, the other Asia Village shop owners, Lana's boyfriend Detective Adam, and the Majong Matrons have me intrigued about Lana's previous adventures. I'm glad I jumped into this series in what operates as a standalone, as Lana is away from home, her friends, and the resources she usually depends on. Her relationship with her aunt was heartwarming. The little shoutout to Laguna, where I was born, was a pleasant surprise, too.
🦇 The writing was, unfortunately, unremarkable. The prose was fluffed up with cliches that felt unnatural or out of place. Given a comment Anna May makes about Lana's metabolism slowing down in her 30s, I assume Lana is in her 20s, but neither sister uses language that feels natural for a modern 20 (or 30...or 40) year-old. Too often, there are random emotional outbursts or gestures (crying, winking, laughing, etc.) that also feel out of place. The emotional whiplash was jarring enough that I had to reread scenes to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
🥠 Anna May's character is a constant annoyance who only seems to exist to put Lana and her sleuthing abilities down, which is unfortunate because I wanted to like her. While Anna May should have acted as a foil for Lana's brash behavior by offering a logical or cool-headed frame of mind (or essential legal advice), she's instead used to spark sisterly tension. I have three younger sisters and I've never spoken down to them the way Anna May does to Lana. With eight solved cases behind her, I would have thought Anna May was prepared for Lana's sleuthing tendencies. Her sister could have acted more as a sounding board. Instead, there's a lot of telling, rather than showing, as Lana closes herself off to process the information she's gathered. The exposition and lack of action only cause the pacing to drag.
🥠 Most frustrating of all was the reveal. If the killer had a handlebar mustache to twist between their fingers or a white, fluffy cat to stroke while explaining their diabolical plan, they would have. The dialogue and tone felt overly sinister, while the killer's physical actions felt awkward and illogical. Having recognized the red herring and anticipated killer early on, the reveal also lacked the tension it desperately needed for a decent ending.
🦇 For fans of the Tita Rosa's Kitchen Mystery and Spice Isle Bakery Mystery series, old Nancy Drew games, or Boxcar Children series as a kid. If you guess the killer before the halfway mark, let me know!
✨ The Vibes ✨ 🥠 Cozy Mystery 🥠 Part of a Series 🥠 Nancy Drew Vibes 🥠 California Vacation 🥠 Female Family Bonding
🦇 Major thanks to the author Vivien Chien and publisher for providing an ARC of this book via Netgalley . 🥰 This does not affect my opinion regarding the book.

Death by Dumpling - Vivien Chien (A Noodle Shop Mystery, book 1)
Synopsis
Welcome to the Ho-Lee Noodle House, where the Chinese food is to die for. . .
The last place Lana Lee thought she would ever end up is back at her family’s restaurant. But after a brutal break-up and a dramatic workplace walk-out, she figures that a return to the Cleveland area to help wait tables is her best option for putting her life back together. Even if that means having to put up with her mother, who is dead-set on finding her a husband.
Lana’s love life soon becomes yesterday’s news once the restaurant’s property manager, Mr. Feng, turns up dead―after a delivery of shrimp dumplings from Ho-Lee. But how could this have happened when everyone on staff knew about Mr. Feng’s severe, life-threatening shellfish allergy? Now, with the whole restaurant under suspicion for murder and the local media in a feeding frenzy―to say nothing of the gorgeous police detective who keeps turning up for take-out―it’s up to Lana to find out who is behind Feng’s killer order. . . before her own number is up.
My Thoughts
I was completely riveted by this book from the very first paragraph on. The tone and voice of the book just spoke to me. I found myself immediately invested in Lana and her life and her family’s noodle shop. And then the mystery began.
It doesn’t take Lana very long to dive right in. Her friend – and colleague – is in trouble, and she’s determined to get ahead of it, and prove him innocent. Even if that means crossing paths with the excruciatingly good looking, and incredibly surly, lead detective on the case.
The deeper Lana dives, the more secrets of the plaza where she grew up she uncovers. With every new bit of information she uncovers, it isn’t long before her lists of suspects shrinks. And the possibilities are pretty heartbreaking for the entire plaza.
This book hooked me with its incredible characters, and then kept me with the mystery, and Lana’s less-than-subtle sleuthing skills. I loved watching her work out the puzzle with her best friend Megan, even if it meant annoying the very, very handsome detective. And Detective Adam Trudeau definitely has his hands full with Lana Lee.
Death by Dumpling is a great start to what I think is going to be a very, very fun series! I can’t wait to keep reading!

Dead Boy Detectives has everything:
Co Dependent queer platonic tough to define Best Freinds who would and have gone to hell for each other. they have an office with a cupboard full of board games, and a long history of Noodle Incident cases of '04, and also a bunch of maneuvers with code names. They are also ghosts who solve mysteries for other ghosts.
One is a sassy well read diva in a stupid little bowtie. he keeps meticulous notes, and went to hell on a technicality. he has no rizz and has a sexual awakening at the hands (paws?) of a supernatural Cat King
the other is a cheerful happy bruiser, the brawn with a pocket demension only he can navigate in his backpack, a magic cricket bat, and wells of anger deep down
they team up with a cool psychic (whos also a pretty tree) dealing with her asshole abusive boyfriend who was literally a demon while also trying to restore her memories (she also has a hilarious hate off off with the nerdy one)
then they add a sweet shut in who isn't very brave but is very inquisitive and has excellent reading comprehension and is actually the most brave
and their landlady is a hot goth Sapphic butcher who is done with their shit (but not really)
and the main antagonist is a cunt serving witch with an iron cane chewing up the scenery, just camp queen obsessed with Beauty and Revenge as she should be
she turns her crow familiar into an astrology loving twink to honeypot the nerdy one but the crow catches feelings whoops
the cat king who deserves his own mention again. he's here to seduce a stuffy British detective/tease, cause problems on purpose, reluctantly help solve those problems and mostly slut it up.
a bureaucrat learns to VERY reluctantly embrace the beautiful power of friendship after being swallowed by a fish
its set in a gorgeous seaside town with a light house! and a malt shop!
because this is all A Scooby Doo homage!
It's an episodic Case Of The Episode format! with strong serialized elements!
and as if that wasn't enough there's even Death of The Endless.
what more could any person possibly want in a show.
oh and there's a lot of really interesting themes around internalized homophpbia, abusive relationships and trauma and toxic anger and learning to love and trust and help other people again in spite of and because of the bad parts.

FESTIVAL FUN

sevika x fem!reader | 2.3k words
SUMMARY: You love celebrating Valentine's Day. On the other hand, Sevika hates it, but she goes along with your plans anyway—so why not show her some appreciation for her efforts? Yes, you have steamy sex in a photo booth.
TAGS: 18+ only! modern zaun, girlfriends being cute and in love, semi-public sex, oral (sev!receiving), fingering (r!receiving), scent kink if you squint
NOTES: HAPPY VALENTINES DAY BESTIES!!! barely got this out in time but i STILL DID IT!! this was based off a request that i tweaked to fit vday cause it was way too perfect
-> READ ON AO3
It's Valentine's Day, the most loving day of the year. The lower streets of Zaun gleam with gaudy pink and red neon lights, buildings bathed in streamers and ribbons—decorations put up by the local teenagers (that technically count as vandalism without the approval of the city). Coincidentally the only demographic truly excited for the holiday.
Well. Teenagers and you.
Sevika couldn't give a damn, but she loves you enough to let you drag her through the streets to soak up the atmosphere of the recently-renovated Lanes. A local festival came to the area two days ago in honor of the holiday—your true destination, but you can't resist a detour through the market to sniff out the best-looking goods. Heart-shaped sweetbread, heart-shaped cookies, noodle bowls topped with heart-shaped mystery meat. Food served in pink and red ceramic, heart-patterned wrapping paper, topped with pretty bows.
Midway through your apple tart, you glance over at her as she takes a seat beside you on the stoop of the shop's entrance. The crowd passes in a blur, laughing and yelling and celebrating the advent of the weekend. Grumpy as always, she schools her expression into something a bit more chipper (if you can call the awkward stretch of her lips chipper) when she catches your eye.
"I know what you're gonna say," you begin, nudging her with your shoulder as you unwrap more of your food. "I'm a little too old to be excited about shit like this."
She shrugs, head turning to survey the crowd. "As long as you like it, honey."
Sacrificing her own wants just to see you happy? Yeah, that's the purest form of love you can think of. The kind of love you expect from her—actions over words, meaningful in the most discreet of ways. Never possessed a flair for the dramatics for the entirety of your relationship, no extravagant gifts or public displays.
She loves from the shadows. A quiet, tender thing to behold.
You take another bite, the heat of spice-cinnamon prickling your tongue. "How sweet of you."
"I could be sweeter if we actually made it to the festival before nightfall."
"I wasn't aware we were on a schedule."
"Do you know who you're talking to?"
You pause for a moment, brows ticking up as you finish your last bite. "That's a good point, actually."
So after you throw away your wrapper, you set off for the festival with a relieved Sevika in tow, and you absolutely don't get distracted a single time. She definitely doesn't have to steer you back on track when you reach the cute display of Valentine's Day jewelry, or the expensive flower booth with bouquets imported from Piltover.
The festival grounds themselves adapt to the tightly-packed streets of Zaun, rides delegated to one main road, then food stalls on another, then local merchants lining a nearby intersection. A beautiful, lively sight to behold. Unbearably loud with the whirring of mechanisms and the screaming children. The air thickens with the smell of grease and fried food, churning your stomach as you pass through the crowd to check out the rides.
And then you spot it. A photo booth tucked into the corner, painted in streaky pink, two young girls stumbling out of it on your approach. It's a bulky thing made of metal, the door flimsy when you pop it open. You slot a few cogs into the machine, directly beneath a PAY HERE sign beside the entrance, and the inside hums to life with a white glow.
"What are you doing?" Sevika calls from a few feet away, hands outstretched in confusion.
You turn to her, stepping into the booth. "When was the last time we took pictures together?"
"Never."
"Exactly, so get your ass in here."
The space was already a tight fit before she squeezed herself inside, and now the both of you brush elbows as the screen in front of you mirrors the scene. A large reflective lens directly above it blinks a steady blue light.
"This is stupid," she grumbles, knocking into you when she crosses her arms.
"It's romantic."
"I'm already sweating."
"You'll live."
She turns to you with a furrow-browed pout just as a countdown begins on the screen. You jump to attention, smoothing down your shirt and fixing her bob of dark hair.
"Okay," you say, "let's do this."
5…
You lean into her and flash a toothy smile at the camera, arms curling around her waist.
4…
In the preview screen, she looks down at you with a wrinkled brow, refusing to move.
3…
"Smile, Sevika," you hiss through grit teeth, jostling her body with your own.
2…
A set of fingers suddenly dig into your side, wriggling at your most sensitive patch of skin—
1…
You collapse against her in a fit of laughter just as the shutter snaps in a beam of blinding white light, and you reach for her hand with a mirthy squeal.
She releases you after a moment, the space too tight for her to sidestep your irritated swat to her ass (a lot less punishing from your leftover giggles). "We paid money for these pictures, Sev! The first one's gonna be awful!"
"Isn't the whole point of this shit to have fun?" A roll of her eyes as she pulls you close yet again. "Relax."
The countdown begins once more, and a wandering hand cups the swell of your ass. You jolt, hips twisting to escape her reach, but the small space leaves you little room to maneuver.
"I swear to Janna, I'm gonna kill you—"
She cuts you off with a rough kiss pressed to your lips, chuckling against your mouth, an arm curling around your back to glue your chest to hers. The shutter of the camera paints the booth in bright light for a split second, and she pulls away with a smug grin. Grey eyes crinkled at the outer corners, sweat beading on the bridge of her nose, unbelievably proud of herself.
"You weren't kidding about the sweat, huh?" you ask, tone tinged with a teasing edge as you wipe a thumb down her nose.
The mirth fades from her face as her expression falls then morphs into a comically deep frown. "Not funny."
Her shenanigans continue through two more pictures, with you joining in. For the third, you bite the arm she throws over your shoulder, hard enough for her to recoil away. For the fourth, you're locked in a standing wrestling match that she, of course, wins.
With a metallic whine, the pictures slowly print out of a slot below the screen, which flashes with a cheesy thank you message surrounded by popping hearts. Each photo is filled with smiles—smug grins, gummy laughs, love stamped onto a laminated page. So much better than the stiff poses you tried to go for.
"So. Did I ruin it?" she asks, chin hooked over your shoulder, hand soft on your waist.
"Okay, I admit I was wrong." A thumb traces around the pink border. "I love them." You turn in her hold and pull her down for a soft, tender kiss. "Thank you."
Her lips twitch into a smile, then she pulls you closer as your arms curl around her neck. "You owe me."
"Do I?"
"Mhm," she hums against your jaw, nipping her teeth over your pulse. "We'll be here the rest of the night. No time to actually celebrate."
Her libido is nothing to scoff at, and it's been this way since you've known the woman. Not like you'd ever complain. At times, you probably beat her out (no, you definitely do. she's told you on multiple occasions that another round might actually kill her).
"This is the celebration."
"Not for me."
You roll your eyes, but arch your back into the hand currently unbuttoning your shirt. The air inside the booth blisters your skin, long-since thickened from shared body heat, and the removal of your clothing gives you little relief. She tugs up your bra then latches onto a flat nipple as you work to unclasp the toggles of her top. A difficult task given the wet heat of her mouth, tongue swirling around the hardening bud.
You trap a moan behind clenched-shut teeth and shove the shirt from her shoulders. Whisper, "Fuck—Sev—okay—" to redirect her attention away from your sensitive tits.
She pulls away with a soft pop then catches your lips with hers. Licks into your mouth as you press your bodies together, tacky with a sheen of sweat, skin soft and unbearably warm. She seeks to devour you, a pent-up need that she never even voiced finally rising to the surface. Your back clangs against the metal wall with a dull thud, and shaking hands make quick work of the buttons on your pants.
The first touch of her fingers against your pussy—thick and calloused and deliciously agile—leaves your jaw dropping, and she moves her kisses to trail along your thumping pulse. Circles a fingertip around the bud of your clit, and your knees would give out if not for the way you cling to her shoulders, arms tight over her back.
You know you have to be quick and quiet, and that pressure lingers in the back of your mind even as the heat in your gut begins to coil.
"Relax," she whispers, breath ghosting hot over the shell of your ear. "It's just us."
She knows you too well. Noticed the roadblock in your brain, felt the tension in your muscles when the thought first popped up, and she soothes it away with a few calming words and a grounding kiss.
Gods, how did you get so lucky?
Everything is heat. Broiling, visceral heat—between your legs, her slick cheek against yours, the muscled planes of her stomach that you smooth a palm over. She smells like sweat and smoke and something so Sevika that it makes you dizzy.
Staying quiet gets harder when she runs two fingers over the entrance of your pussy, noisy and wet, and she huffs a laugh against your cheek. Slides a slicked-up finger inside you, and you almost jump clear to the ceiling in celebration. Just what you needed, a thick, long solution to the emptiness, and you reach down to play with your clit.
"Another," you say, tilting your hips forward in a silent plea.
When she adds a second, it doesn't take long for you to cum, insides clenching tight and rhythmic around her, teeth a heavy bite on her shoulder to muffle your moans.
You pull away from each other when your body sags against the wall, both of you breathing heavy, bathed in a fresh sheen of sweat. (So much damn sweat.)
"Fuck, it's hot in here," you huff, barely taking the time to recover before you turn her around and press her against the wall.
"You'll live," she says with a grin, and yeah—you deserve that.
The space is small, but just large enough for you to fall to your knees without feeling cramped. You work on undoing the clasps of her pants before tugging them down her thick thighs, a task made harder by the wet slip of her skin. Out of nowhere, she fits her fingers between your teeth, musky with the taste of you, a string of slick connecting them that you immediately lap up.
You run your fingers down the curls of fur on her mound then tease your thumb over the hood of her puffy clit, spit pooling on your tongue as her fingertips tease the sheathe of your throat. Searing eye contact as you push her wrist away then dive into her pussy, so wet you can't help but moan, the sound muffled by her flesh.
Her hand presses to the back of your head, trapping you in place with a shaky exhale as you wriggle your tongue against the entrance of her pussy. You love eating her out. Can't get enough of her smell and taste, the way she clings to you all needy from overwhelm. Always so wet for you, slick enough to drown in.
Above everything, she makes you feel wanted. Pretty.
You flatten your tongue then lick over her clit, adjusting your rhythm to the subconscious rocking of her hips. With hands curled around the back of her thighs, you brace yourself, tugging her closer, the sudden clench of her cunt punching a whine from your chest.
She cums on your face with a sharp hiss, body curling toward your head, muscles twitching beneath your hands. Your shoulder aches from the sudden force of her grip, and then she's pushing you away with a heavy exhale. You suck in a lung-filling breath as she soothes a hand over yours, the lower half of your face soaked from nose to chin. Best part of eating her out, in your opinion.
"Shit," she says, eyes bleary and lidded, utterly spent after her orgasm. "I need a second."
You can't help but smile in triumph, reaching for your shirt on the floor to wipe your face with (that'll need an immediate wash when you get home). For a moment, you consider the consequences of walking around the Lanes smelling like a brothel, then remember that it's the Lanes—much worse smells permeate this part of the city than sex.
At her request, you help with her shirt, fingers a bit more shaky than expected. You smooth down each other's hair, fix your clothes, and after one final, long kiss, you're ready to leave.
With an awkward clear of your throat, you open the door and step out of the booth, glancing around the crowd to make sure nobody catches your eye. Luckily, everyone busies themselves with the festivities, too tunnel-visioned to take note of their surroundings. Thank Janna. You might collapse and die of humiliation if a family of four stood right outside, subject to the suspicious rocking of the booth.
Or maybe you're a bit paranoid about being caught doing something naughty.
But Sevika doesn't give a shit. She steps up beside you with a sniffle and begins fanning her shirt with a hand. Says, "Hot as hell in there," before moving along.
All you can do is follow in awestruck adoration.
Ah, how you love the Day of Love.

Midnight Snack Mystery (Simon 'Ghost' Fic) Part 1
Wife! Reader Pregnant! Reader Hungry! Reader Possessive! Ghost Possessive! Simon 'Ghost' Riley Possessive! Simon Ghost Riley Good Cook! Simon Ghost Riley Husband! Simon 'Ghost' Riley Hungry Wife! Reader. By this time he is already Captain or Major! or Lieutenant Col! Simon 'Ghost' Riley
Part 2, Part 3
Long, not so-long, but light hearted read. Warning: Don't read when hungry!! Summary: Pregnant with Simon's child, Y/N experiences intense late-night cravings. Her overprotective husband, Simon, keeps a close eye on her, ensuring she’s well taken care of. However, Y/N discovers a late-night noodle shop that serves her favorite foods—dumplings and noodles—and she can’t resist the temptation. She sneaks out in the dead of night for quick food runs, careful not to wake Simon. But Simon, ever the observant one, eventually catches her in the act and decides he’s not letting her sneak off again without a word.
----------
Midnight Snack Bust
Simon stirred slightly in his sleep, his instincts sharper than most even when off-duty. The weight on his chest—a comforting one—shifted, then disappeared altogether.
His eyes fluttered open in the darkness. Your side of the bed was empty, the covers pushed back, a slight chill left in their absence. Simon frowned. This wasn’t the first time.
He waited, still as a statue, listening for any sound that might tell him where you’d gone. The faint creak of the stairs gave you away.
Downstairs, you shuffled around the kitchen, carefully balancing a plate of toast smothered in butter, jam and honey. The thought of waking Simon was laughable—he was always in full protective mode, which meant no late-night snacks for you unless he hovered like a helicopter. Besides, you could handle it. The kitchen wasn’t that far from the bed.
Except, as you turned with your snack in hand, there he was.
Simon stood in the doorway, arms crossed, a shadowy figure of unimpressed authority. The glow from the fridge cast just enough light for you to see his raised brow.
“Really?” he asked, his voice a low rumble.
You froze like a deer caught in headlights, the plate in your hands trembling slightly. “I was hungry.”
“You could’ve woken me.”
“It’s toast, Simon. I think I can manage toast.”
He stepped forward, his size practically swallowing the kitchen whole. “Not about the toast, love. It’s about the stairs. And you bein’ pregnant. You fall, then what?”
You rolled your eyes, but he plucked the plate from your hands, setting it on the counter. Without another word, he scooped you up—scooped, like a bloody princess—and started carrying you back to bed.
“Simon!” you protested, flailing slightly.
“Shush,” he muttered. “You’ve got enough on your plate—literally—without riskin’ your neck for a midnight snack.”
----------
Back in bed, Simon pulled the covers over both of you, his arm locking you in place like a human seatbelt.
“Next time, wake me,” he said, his voice softer now. “You want toast, noodles, a bloody roast dinner—I’ll get it. Just don’t go sneakin’ about.”
You sighed, nestling into his chest. “Fine. But I’m holding you to the roast dinner.”
He chuckled, the sound low and warm. “Deal.”
---------- A Wonderful Discovery
One sunny afternoon, you and Price’s fiancée (A/N: Same person from Papa Bear!! Material ;) and many more in this universe of mine, lol! ) decided to meet at a charming little tea house. It had become a bit of a routine—your way of catching up without the boys around to interrupt with their dry humor and war stories.
She was her usual lively self, flipping through the menu even though she’d already decided on her order. You admired how she could make even the simplest thing—like picking a biscuit—seem like an adventure.
“I’ve got to tell you,” she said suddenly, setting her menu down. “There’s this noodle shop. Open late. Best dumplings you’ll ever have. Like, melt-in-your-mouth, life-changing dumplings.”
Your eyebrows rose. “Late-night noodles? Around here?”
She nodded, leaning forward as if sharing a state secret. “Not just noodles—bao buns, dumplings, the works. I discovered it after one of those long nights when John was stuck at the base, and I didn’t feel like cooking. It’s a lifesaver. You’re lucky—it’s right near your place.”
Your interest piqued immediately. The thought of sneaking out for some steaming hot noodles had your mouth watering. “How late are we talking?”
She grinned. “Oh, past midnight. Maybe even 2 or 3 AM.”
----------
That night, as you lay in bed listening to Simon’s soft snores, the thought of that noodle shop lingered. You could almost taste the broth, the tender dumplings, the savory goodness of a late-night food escapade.
The idea began to take root.
----------
Late Night Escape
The idea simmered in your mind all evening. By the time Simon had brushed his teeth, pulled on his oversized sleep shirt, and settled into bed, it had blossomed into a full-blown plan.
You waited. And waited. Timing was everything. Simon’s arm, draped heavily across your waist, rose and fell with the rhythm of his breathing. His presence was solid and warm, a comforting weight—but tonight, it was your obstacle.
Carefully, you began to inch away, moving like a prisoner attempting to slip past a sleeping guard. His hand twitched, and you froze, holding your breath. After a long moment, he let out a soft snore.
Victory.
Sliding out of bed, you padded quietly to the wardrobe, pulling on Simon’s oversized hoodie and slipping into your trusty anti-slip slippers. The eco bag was stashed by the door, waiting. You slipped it over your shoulder, opened the door as quietly as you could, and stepped out into the cool night air.
The noodle shop wasn’t far, but with the chill nipping at your cheeks, it felt like forever. When you finally reached the warm glow of the restaurant, the smells of rich broth and freshly steamed dumplings greeted you like an old friend.
Sliding into a seat, you ordered a large bowl of noodles and a plate of dumplings. The first bite was pure heaven—warm, savory, comforting. This wasn’t just food. This was rebellion. A delicious act of defiance against Simon’s overprotectiveness.
You ate quickly, savoring each bite but keeping an eye on the clock. You couldn’t risk being gone too long, or Simon might wake up. When you finished, you wiped your hands, packed your leftovers into your eco bag, and headed home, feeling victorious.
----------
Simon hadn’t stirred when you returned. You slipped into bed, placing the bag under the bed for good measure. His arm instinctively found your waist again, and you smiled to yourself, utterly pleased.
But this wasn’t going to be a one-time thing.
----------
First Catch
It started feeling too easy. You’d mastered the art of sneaking out: the slow, deliberate slide from under Simon’s arm, the silent shuffle to the door, and the perfectly timed return. Your noodle escapades had become a nightly ritual.
But then, one night, your luck ran out.
You were tiptoeing into the kitchen, quietly opening the fridge to stash the leftover dumplings behind the unassuming bag of lettuce Simon would never touch, when a deep voice cut through the silence.
“Late-night fridge rearranging, are we?”
You jumped, spinning around with a gasp. Simon was leaning against the doorway, arms crossed, his imposing figure illuminated by the dim light of the open fridge.
Your mind scrambled for an excuse. “Uh... just wanted some water.”
“In my hoodie? And with an eco bag?” His eyebrow arched, unimpressed.
You tried to tuck the bag behind you, but Simon’s sharp eyes had already caught the unmistakable sheen of takeout containers poking out from the top. He strode forward, plucked the bag from your hands with an annoyingly effortless tug, and opened it.
The aroma of noodles and dumplings betrayed you instantly.
“Water, huh?” He held up a dumpling with mock seriousness. “This what they’re calling it these days?”
You gulped.
----------
Minutes later, you found yourself seated at the kitchen table like a scolded child. Simon, clad in sweatpants and a scowl, had taken over the stove. The sight of him cooking—rolling up his sleeves with a tired sigh—might’ve been endearing if you weren’t on the receiving end of his disapproval.
“You could’ve woken me,” he grumbled, cracking eggs into a bowl with more force than necessary.
“You were sleeping,” you mumbled.
“I’d rather get up than have you sneakin’ around at night,” he said, his tone gruff. “What if somethin’ happened, eh? You’re waddling about in the dark like a burglar.”
You snorted at the image, which earned you a sharp look.
“Not funny,” he said, though the corner of his mouth twitched. “I’ll make the bloody noodles if that’s what you want. Just stop sneakin’ out.”
You stayed silent, chewing on your lower lip. No way were you telling him about the noodle shop.
---------
Close Call
Old habits die hard. A few nights later, you were returning from the noodle shop, quietly slipping into the kitchen to stash your leftovers behind the condiments, when Simon stirred upstairs.
He came padding down the stairs just as you were closing the fridge.
“You were gone,” he murmured groggily, rubbing his face.
“Kitchen,” you lied quickly, holding up an empty glass of water as proof.
He hummed, unconvinced, and squinted at you. “Should’ve woken me.”
“For the kitchen?” you asked, feigning innocence.
“For whatever,” he grunted, his eyes scanning the counter before settling on the fridge. “Don’t like you wanderin’ about on your own.”
You gave him your best innocent smile and shuffled past him toward the stairs. Simon followed a moment later, his suspicion lingering like a shadow.
----------
Growing Suspicion
It started with a nagging feeling Simon couldn’t shake. You were always warm when you came back to bed, slightly out of breath, and he could swear he caught the faintest hint of soy sauce and sesame lingering in the air.
One night, as you slid into bed beside him, he cracked an eye open just enough to catch you pulling off his oversized hoodie. You were trying to be quiet, moving with all the stealth of someone trying not to get caught.
He didn’t say anything. Not yet. But his mind was racing.
The next night, he pretended to be deep asleep as you started your routine. The slow untangling from his grasp, the soft shuffle to grab your hoodie and slippers. He cracked his eye open just as you tiptoed out of the room, eco bag in hand.
Simon lay there for a moment, his jaw tightening. He didn’t believe in jumping to conclusions without evidence—years of military experience had drilled that into him. But this was his wife, and the secrecy was starting to itch.
----------
The Watchful Eye
The next few nights, Simon kept up his act. He watched you go through the same routine: hoodie on, bag in hand, slippers padding softly across the floor. Each time, he waited until you were out of earshot before sitting up and staring at the door.
He debated following you right then and there but decided against it. Instead, he lay back, staring at the ceiling, letting the suspicion simmer.
Until one night, he’d had enough.
----------
Caught in the Act
Simon Riley, a man known for his ability to track an enemy through any terrain in total darkness, cracked one eye open as he heard the faint creak of the bedroom door. His wife, waddling like a stealthy penguin in his oversized hoodie, had escaped once again.
He sat up, running a hand down his face, and muttered, “Bloody hell.” This was the third time this week, and it was starting to feel personal. He reached for his jumper, his movements slow and deliberate.
By the time Simon made it outside, you were already a good distance ahead, waddling down the street with your eco bag swinging by your side. He trailed behind, staying in the shadows like a proper ghost, his breath visible in the chilly night air.
When you entered the noodle shop, he stopped just outside, watching through the window. You were already at a corner table, your face lighting up as the server placed a steaming bowl of noodles in front of you. Then came the dumplings, and your joy was almost palpable.
Simon shook his head, muttering, “Unbelievable,” before pushing the door open. The little bell above the door jingled, but you didn’t notice—too engrossed in your noodles.
He approached silently, stopping just behind you. “Enjoyin’ yourself, are ya?”
You froze mid-slurp, a noodle dangling from your lips. That voice. You’d recognize that deep, gravelly tone anywhere.
Slowly, you turned your head to see Simon standing there, arms crossed and a single brow arched. His expression was equal parts amusement and exasperation.
“I, uh…” You scrambled for an excuse, your voice muffled by the noodle still in your mouth. “Toilet break?”
“Toilet break?” he repeated, pulling out the chair across from you and sitting down. “Love, the loo doesn’t serve dumplings.”
A/N:
Just a heads up—Captain Price’s fiancée in this story is the same lady from Papa Bear Material—Mama Bear! So, if you've read that story, you might recognize her. As for the characters of Y/N, both are technically the same person, so feel free to choose who you identify with!
Y/N’s been caught. And now, Simon’s not having it. And with that, stay tuned for Part 2. Simon’s not letting this go anytime soon…

HI!!! so i am obsessed with your reader x coworker james first kiss fic. can we maybe get something about what came after? like how were the interactions the day or week after, how did they behave around each other, did james tell the boys or was he too nervous?
—you and James maintain a facade that Remus sees through
James wheels his chair to be as far from you as possible. He leans back, turns his monitor. Through the gap, he has a perfect window of your face without it being obvious that he’s staring. Well, sort of.
Stop staring.
James reads Remus’ slack message in surprise. He glances at you, finds you still snacking on chocolate covered somethings less covertly than you mean to be, and decides to grace his friend with a message back.
Nope
James, Remus messages.
I’m not really staring
You’re staring. She can definitely tell
James looks back to you, hoping to prove Remus wrong, but you’re staring straight at him. He has the instinct to look away and the sense not to, charmed into grinning when you squint at him, your mock suspiciousness adorable.
“James,” Remus says, clearing his throat.
James pulls his gaze away reluctantly. “What?”
“Can you answer my email?”
The email isn’t an email, but another slack message. Are you serious right now? You couldn’t be more obvious if you tried
James flicks a pen lid at him. “Obvious about what?” he mouths.
You get up and stretch, tactically failing to meet anyone’s eyes as you pick up your empty glass of water and leave.
“James, what’s going on?”
“What ever could you mean, my love?”
Remus rolls his chair toward. “Don’t flirt with me. I’m serious, what the hell is going on with you? You’re supposed to hate the girl.”
“Hate is such a strong word.”
“Well, you’re being a bit much no matter what.”
James bites his cheek in a hurry to straighten up. “You think so?”
Remus just stares at him.
James has done a fantastic job at keeping your kiss a secret. He doesn’t know how, mind you —you kissed him, you kissed him, you asked if you could and you kissed him like a sweetheart with the softest mouth he’s ever had the fortune to feel pressed against his own.
Since your kiss, he’s been feeling weirdly poetic. He totally gets all those Carol Ann Duffy poems they made him read at school now.
One day without telling anybody is impressive, at least to his own standards. “I know what I’m doing,” he says.
Remus frowns. “I’d love to be informed on what exactly that is.”
“Certain events have transpired and convinced me that I was quite wrong to have judged our girl so harshly.”
“Certain events?”
“I’m allowed some mystery,” James says, before smiling so hard it makes him squint and his cheeks apple. He rubs at his face roughly in an attempt to move forward, but he remembers the way your kiss had melded from soft and shy to hungry. Fuck, he loved it. He needs another one. He has no idea how to get it. “Ugh, I’m gonna go get my lunch from the fridge.”
“Sure you are. Alright, well, I’m gonna find Sirius and maybe he can convince you to start acting normal again.”
James goes to the kitchen first but abandons his charade when you aren’t there. He grabs his lunch, tucking it under his arm as he makes his way through to the break room. You’re thankfully, blissfully, sitting by the open window with a shop-bought salad.
He nods at the chair across from you. “Can I sit?”
“Yes.”
“That’s all you're eating?” he asks. A little tray of salad is hardly enough to keep you going until the end of the day. “I have gyoza chilli noodle soup, it’s amazing.”
“You’re gonna eat it cold?” you ask.
He leans forward, elbows on the table, holding your gaze. “No, but I’m busy right now.” He needs time to look you over. Every time he realises how pretty you are is like another beat of his capering pulse.
“Don’t harass me.”
“I’m not harassing you.”
“What would you call this?” You stab a few pieces of lettuce onto your fork. “I can’t have much more for dinner, I just had half a packet of chocolate covered strawberries.”
“Don’t say that, like some snacks and a salad are more than you’re allowed. Here, I'll warm this up and you can share. You’ll really like it, the gyoza are amazing.”
“So what, you’re gonna take care of me now?” you ask. You’re teasing, but there’s a slight edge of bitterness to it like you believe what you’re saying. James is swift to set that right, though he stays speaking in tongues with you.
“I’ve been trying to.” James can hear footsteps at the doorway, and besides, you’re right, he’s being too nice. He sucks in an unbothered breath. “Whatever, loser, stick to your sad salad.”
Your eyes widen. “I don’t want your cold soup, you idiot.”
Sirius and Remus filter in with one of your coworkers just behind them. “I thought you said he was being weird?” Sirius asks. “He seems pretty normal to me.”
Remus sighs forlornly, prompting a side hug from his boyfriend as he shepherds him to the table where you and James are sitting.
“He’s always being weird,” you say.
James kicks your foot gently. You pick through your salad with a poorly concealed smile.

Panting, you're pushed against the door of your bedroom. Kakashi’s lips stray from your mouth and wander all over your neck. Butterflies ripple from your stomach up your chest and to your column exploding where he touched. He’s sucking and biting till you don’t know if you’ll be able to go in public for a few days. It’s an embarrassing thought but you can’t help leaning into it. You're certain you won’t be able to face Sukea after all your criticism of Kakashi. So how did you get here, pressed into the painted wood as your hand fumbles with the knob between shaky breaths?
It started when Kakashi wanted to go out into town undisturbed. The pressures of being a celebrity aren’t always easy to shoulder. Sometimes Kakashi needs a break from all the recognition and prefers to hang around the village in a disguise. A few years ago when Teams 7 was acting up, he donned a wig and modulated his voice to indulge them in a game of trying to see his face. Today is one of those days where he needs that beak so, he grabs his wig, purple face paint and his camera and takes a stroll around the village as Sukea.
The first thing he wants to do is go to a ramen shop and eat a meal in peace. He never gets to dine out uninterrupted so he's looking forward to this rare experience. As he enters the shop and sits down he sees you to his right. Your nose is tucked in a book while mindlessly stirring your noodles with your chopsticks. Upon further review he realizes you aren’t just reading any book, you’re reading smut.
After placing his order, he clears his throat, hoping to catch your attention. You heard him but hardly look up. Feeling conflicting emotions, Kakashi isn’t sure if he wants to disturb your reading time but he also wants someone he can talk to about his favorite genre. It’d be nice to have a friend who has a passion for his favorite hobby. He doesn't have a friend like that and here you are. He decides to leave you be till his bowl arrives.
“Excuse me” he says as he reaches over you to grab a pair of chopsticks, crowding you and brushing your shoulder with his chest. Irritated, you gaze up but the adorable face that greets you is hard to be upset at. He seems like a very sweet guy, the kind of face that’s trustworthy. How can you be sassy to someone that seems so genuine?
“Hey! uh, oh, sorry” you say as you lean out of his way, noticing he was surprisingly fit for someone who was just a photographer.
“I like your book, by the way.”
“You read romance?”
“I love it. It really helps you learn about how connections are made. Plus I can’t wait till I have my own girlfriend to treat like a princess.”
“Aww” you coo, at the nice man.
“You ever read the Body Count series?”
“Oh my gods, yes! I love a good murder mystery with spicy romance.”
Soon you are closing your book and the two of you enter an hours long conversation about your favorite books. By the end of it, you are exchanging book titles and contact information to meet up next week for an informal little book club.
While walking home Kakashi laments meeting you as Sukea. He wishes he could’ve met you as himself but he didn’t want to freak you out by telling you he met you in a disguise so he decides to just continue the ruse since it was just a friendship and nothing more serious.
A few weeks into your book club and Kakashi is starting to lose touch of where his friendship with you ends and where his crush on you begins. With every passing interaction, he regrets his luck that he met you as Sukea more and more. You’re so adorable when you talk about the titles so avidly and fall backwards dreaming about a man treating you the way the anti heroes in your books treat their love. Sometimes he imagines doing those things to you. He’d love to tattoo you while stroking into your folds, tie you up and make you watch as he touched himself, bind you to an x cross and wait for you to beg him to touch you.
He’d love to see your innocent face pout up at him as your lip quivers from overstimulation. But he can’t bring himself to do that while wearing face paint and a wig, so he settles for staring at you and daydreaming about the things he knows you’d like if fate was just a little different.
Soon, your weekly hangouts become your favorite part of the week. You beg him to meet up more than just saturdays, but between missions and assembling his disguise, he doesn’t have the bandwidth to be around you more. Nor does he want to prolong the psychological torture of growing even closer to you than he already is, knowing you’ll reject him if you ever figured things out.
One Saturday, Sukea comes to your house to debate the relationship between Addy and Zade when you see a copy of Icha Icha fall out of his bag.
“You read the Makeout Series?”
“Yes, it’s my favorite, in fact.”
“When were you going to tell me this?”
“I don’t know, but I think you should read it next.”
“Oh, no thank you!” you say with a sarcastic pitch.
Sukea cocks his head at you. “What’s wrong with Icha Icha?”
“Other than the author is a total perv?”
“Aren’t all smut authors total pervs?”
“Not necessarily, but I hear that guy is the worst. Always going into pleasure houses in every town he visits. Typical shinobi. Never settles down, just travels village to villiage, getting his fill.” You say it with an air of disgust like you actually know Master Jiraiya. The comment has Kakashi feeling defensive.
“What do you mean typical shinobi? I think what shinobi do is quite honorable. Giving up their lives for the sake of their village. That’s not an easy thing to do.”
“Sure it’s not easy to train and master jutsu the way they do but that doesn’t make them good people. They use their title as an excuse to use people. Take that war hero Kakashi for example. He flexes his strength to get girl’s attention. Then he uses them and casts them aside.”
“He what?” Kakashi can’t believe what he’s hearing. Since when does he use women? Sure he’s had a one night stand or two but mostly he’s led a solitary life. He tries not to interact with people too much out of fear he’ll hurt them. In fact it’s taken him a long time to get to this point where he’ll start a friendship with a random stranger. …an adorable one who happens to think he’s something he’s not…
“I don’t think what they say about him is true. That doesn’t sound like the Kakashi I know.”
“Oh, so you know him?”
“Well, we have a casual relationship. I’ve done photos for his team. He seems pretty stand up to me.”
“Well I’ve run into over a dozen girls who all claimed he gave them the night of their lives and then dumped them for no good reason. Something about he needs to focus for the sake of the village. What b.s.”
This was news to Kakashi. Were random women actually claiming to have slept with him? Why on earth would they do something like that?
“Um, are you sure those rumors are true? Kakashi doesn’t seem like the type to do that.”
“Why would a bunch of women lie?”
“I was thinking the same thing but, I know he’s not that kind of guy”
“What is your deal with him? He’s just a random shinobi.”
“Well he’s the one who got me into Icha Icha and I don’t like when people bad mouth my friends. If you ever meet him in person, just try to be nice.”
“Do you really think I’d be mean to him?”
“Normally I’d say no but I’ve never seen you so upset towards a person before so I’m gonna say, yes?”
His questioning tone makes you laugh. You’re thrown into a fit of giggles and it’s music to Kakashi’s ears. From across the table you see Sukea smile, “So will you please read the Makeout Series? It’s good!”
“Fine, fine!” you say. “I’ll read it, but if I don’t like it, You owe me lunch.”
“Deal!”
You laugh and grab his arm affectionately, making Kakashi’s heart flutter. Originally he hadn’t planned to ever meet you as himself. He didn’t want you to figure out he was Sukea but after your conversation he felt the need to set the record straight. You’d been hanging out for several months now so he knew your schedule pretty well. He knew what days of the week you packed lunch and which you ate out. He also knew your favorite Tuesday and Thursday restaurants as well as your favorite Sunday brunch spot. All he had to do was make an appearance.
Since tomorrow was Sunday brunch, he figured he’d make that appearance, while the plea to be nice to him was fresh in your brain.
By yourself in the corner of a cute little cafe, you had a pastry and jumbo cup of tea next to you while you curled up with a book. As Kakashi entered he smiled to himself, you’re reading it. Furthermore, you seem to be enjoying it. He knew you’d recognize Master Jiraiya’s genius. As he walked by he stole your pastry and your bookmark without you knowing. Setting the scene for your 'first' interaction.
You feel a tap on your shoulder and look up to a tall ninja with beautiful silver hair swooped to one side. Holy sh*t, it’s Kakashi. You stare up at him, gob smacked. He’s so handsome you feel your hands start to shake. What was he doing here? Why was he getting your attention?
“I’m sorry to interrupt but is this yours?” he holds up your bookmark between his middle and pointer fingers, drawing attention to the length of the digits. Your smutty mind is going wild and you have to put a halt to your train of thought.
“Yes, thank you.” you say reaching to take it out of his hands when he flips it around to land between his pointer and thumb before handing it over. You don’t miss the dexterity there and dryly swallow. A small swell of butterflies lift in his stomach when he sees your mind reeling.
“Could I get you anything? Your plate is empty.”
“No it’s not, I haven’t finished my- oh. I guess I did…” you say in confusion as you look at your plate void of food except for the crumbs left behind. “But still, no thank you.” you chime, not willing to get sucked into the same trap as those other women. You’re not going to be played for a fool.
“No worries. Enjoy your book!”
“Thanks” you say half hearted and confused. You stick your nose back in your novel, drunk on the moving storyline. You hate that this perv might actually know what he’s talking about and is starting to win over your heart. This Jiraiya-guy isn't half bad. Speaking of...when you gaze up, you see that Mr. Famous is sitting nearby reading the exact same book as you. Sukea said that Kakashi was the reason he got into the Makeout Series, which means he knew exactly what you were reading when he handed you his bookmark. Oh no, and he caught you staring at his fingers before he offered you a pastry. Crap, he’s gonna think i’m like all those other girls.
You feel anger and upset when a plate of tea biscuits is delivered to your table. Kakashi felt bad that he swiped the remnants of your plate so he ordered a replacement item even after you rejected his offer. But you’re not here for it. He’s not gonna buy you with cheap treats and think he’ll just discard you like those other women.
“Hey!” you march up to him with the biscuits. “I said I didn’t want anything.”
“Sorry, they brought out two plates so I had them take the extra plate to you since I saw your’s was still empty.”
“I can order my own food you know.”
“If it bothers you I can take them back.”
“Yes, please do. I’m not some ‘mission’ you can accomplish.”
Kakashi gives you a look of bewilderment and turns his head back to his pages.
“I’m sorry to upset you. I didn’t mean anything by it. I just saw you were enjoying my favorite book and wanted to be polite.”
“I-well-don’t send food to girls you don’t know... It’s weird.”
“Sorry, I’ll note that for next time.”
You nod and head back to your seat feeling a little guilty about how harsh you were. He didn’t seem to mean anything by it. But you bet that’s how he got the other girls and you’re not like them.
“You yelled at him?”
“Not yelled at him, per say.”
“But you raised your voice at him.”
“A little” Sukea gives you a pointed expression, “Look, it’s not my best moment but come on, he was totally putting the moves on me. He bought me food and did this sexy thing with his hands.”
“Sexy thing with his hands?”
“Yes, he spun my bookmark around and it made me think of things…”
Sukea laughs, “That’s what does it for you, eh?”
“Stop! Yes, okay, I was a little impressed. He’s sooo attractive. No wonder those other girls never stood a chance.”
“I still doubt there were other girls but whatever you say.” Sukea smiles at you and asks how you like Icha Icha and you embarrassingly admit you loved it…a lot.
The next Sunday you spot him again. He walks in with a new book. This one you and Sukea read recently. So he enjoys spicy books too. I bet he tries all the smut scenes on the girls he sleeps with. You’d be lying if you said that thought didn’t make you a little needy for him. You’ve longed to experience the things you read about in your books, and he’s so handsome. Like, extremely handsome. Sit on his face, handsome. Stop it.
Yet, you can’t blame yourself. Before you sits a man who would give you all the things you desire. How can you not let yourself entertain the thought? Plus if he’s like what they say, convincing him to try that stuff with you wouldn’t be too hard to accomplish, right?
Swallowing your pride you approach him. “Um, hi”
Kakashi looks up at you in mild surprise. “Hello.”
“I don’t know if you remember me,”
“The girl who scolded me when I gave her biscuits.”
You wince, “Yes, that’s me. I uh, I wanted to apologize.”
“Well thank you. It’s appreciated but it’s okay. If I made you feel nervous, you had a right to express it.”
“But I should’ve gone about it better.”
“True, but you’re cute enough that you got away with it.”
Kakashi didn’t mean to blurt that last part out and he sees how your shoulders tense. He blew it. He scared you away by seeming interested in you which he knows you’ll take as him trying to add you to his fictitious laundry list of women.
You pause, nervous that he made a remark about your appearance. Was he trying to get in your pants? Did you care? You were the one who approached him. After a few blinks you laugh and ask if you can take a seat. After he pulls out the chair next to him, like a gentleman, damn him, you take it to start talking to him about all the books you talk about with Sukea.
Kakashi notices the blush creep over your face as you talk plot lines and character pairings. He wonders if you can tell how into you he is, or are you actually warming up to him in spite of what you think? The more eye contact he holds the deeper your flush and soon you stumble over your words, forgetting what you were even talking about.
When you recover, you realize you’re describing your favorite kissing scene and your eyes have fallen to his mask-covered lips.
Noticing the shift in your attention, Kakashi instinctively licked them and swallowed thickly. While you couldn’t see the fresh sheen of his mouth, the bob in his adam’s apple serves as a subtle reminder of his overt masculinity. Your lips part and you lean into him when he stops you with a light touch to the center of your chest, pushing you away as politely as possible.
You look up at him embarrassed and slightly confused.
“I’m sorry, I don’t know what got into me.” you say hoarsely as you try to recover.
“Please, don’t get me wrong. I like you but I’d like to take you to dinner first.” That earns him a confused look from you. “What? Can’t a guy want to wine and dine someone before their first kiss?”
You let out a relieved giggle before you blush. “I guess he can. I just didn’t take you for the wine and dine type of guy.”
“Given my taste in books, is it hard to believe I enjoy romance?”
You pause at that. You hadn’t really considered it till now. Maybe Sukea was right. He didn’t seem like someone who is actively trying to pick up girls. Unless that’s his game. You feel so conflicted but at this point it doesn’t matter. There’s this surge of electricity when you talk to him. It’s not like conversing with other guys, he likes the stuff you like. It feels as easy as when you’re with Sukea except with Kakashi, there's this buzz in your stomach that won’t go away. “Okay then,” you say, “I accept. I’ll go on a date with you.”
“I don’t recall actually asking you.” he states plainly
Your face falls and he chuckles, “So let me remedy that. Would you kindly join me for dinner tonight? There is a place my friend recommended and I’d like to try it out with someone special.”
With rose tinted cheeks you accept.
“So? How’d the date go?”
“How’d you know I went on a date this weekend?”
“So you’re not denying it.”
“You didn’t answer the question, Sukea.”
“You were spotted.”
You fold your arms across your chest. “I’m not going to apologize for it.”
“Ready to admit you were wrong about Kakashi?”
“No. For all I know this is part of his deal. He lowers a woman’s guard by taking her on romantic dates just so he can bag her and never see her again.”
“And you fell for it?”
“I-hey! I didn’t fall for anything. I just had a moment of weakness.”
“So you slept with him.”
“I slept by myself, thank you. We didn’t even kiss.”
“Wow, a date without a kiss. What a womanizer.” You scoff at Sukea “or is he just not interested in you?”
“He’s interested.” you hiss, unable to handle Sukea’s teasing. “It was a lovely date. We really bonded. I-” you sigh, hating the words that are about to come out of your mouth, “I really like him but I don’t know if I can get over all those girls he’s slept with in the past and I’m afraid I’ll just be another notch on his bed post.”
Kakashi’s chest deflates. He wishes he could just tell you that those rumors aren’t true. Those girls were dishonest. He’s only ever had two partners and they are nothing compared to you. He knows he can’t just say it, he has to show it but swallowing his pride and waiting patiently for you to see the truth is agonizing.
“Like I said, that behavior doesn’t sound like Kakashi. He’s pretty to himself. He’s not one to gloat about his fame and success and using people doesn’t sound like him.”
“It’s so confusing cause what you’re saying makes sense but why would all those girls lie?”
“Maybe cause he’s famous and they want other women to be jealous, or other men to find her more appealing. I’m not a psychologist or anything but that’s my guess.”
“Maybe…” you ponder and Kakashi prays his words as Sukea could comfort you more. You inform him that Kakashi told you to read a book in preparation for your next date so now he has to read it with you.
“Wait, you’re taking Kakashi’s recommendations over mine.”
“Yes, I want to impress him.”
“Lofty words for someone who thinks so little of him.”
“Let’s just say that I’m open to being proven wrong.”
Sukea laughs and you continue your usual banter about books but now he’s studying what scenes excite you most. He’s digging through your conversations to find out your fantasies and grasping at details that will wow you and help you realize you’re his... the princess he’s longed to spoil.
That Saturday afternoon, a few hours after your book club with Sukea, you had your second date with Kakashi. The conversation sparkled and much of the evening was comparing notes. Your back and forth was so enjoyable that the date went way beyond the afternoon lunch he proposed and turned into a romantic dinner. Seeing Kakashi during a meal felt like a privilege. He was so discrete with removing his mask but he didn’t truly try to hide his face from you, which you adored. Being one of the few people who’ve seen the beauty mark by his lips makes you feel special, till you remember all the other lips he’s kissed. Please let Sukea be right.
After dinner he walked you home and with each step towards your front door, tension built in your chest. You didn’t want the date to end but you didn’t want to prove yourself right either. What if he assumed the invitation inside your home would mean you give him the greenlight to all the things you want and then afterwards he never speaks to you again? The worry and confliction wared within your chest till you reached the front of your home.
When you stopped, Kakashi pulled you close, adoration filling his eyes. You opened your mouth and closed your eyes, ready to kiss him when you felt warm cloth press against your forehead. Your lids opened in surprise.
“Goodnight princess, I look forward to next weekend. Let me know what book we should read next.” is what he said.
You were stunned into silence when he released his hug and turned to walk away. He kissed your forehead and not your lips. Maybe he wasn’t that into you. But then why would he want to meet up again next weekend? You think about last night over and over again today, as you walk through the market. In addition to playing the date on a loop in your head, you contemplate which book you want him to read. Your thoughts wander from one place to the next but never stray far from your main man till you bump shoulders with a beautiful kunoichi.
“Oh hey!”
“Hi!" You greet, bewildered. You blink a few times and then feel your gut sink. It’s one of the girls you heard talking about Kakashi. The love-sick part of your brain is cringing in agony.
“Hey, you’re dating Kakashi right?”
“Huh?”
“I thought I saw you two together a couple times? Was that not a date?”
“It was…” you feel tension all over your body. How many people cared that you were on a date with the copy ninja? It’s not like anyone cared when you and Sukea meet. The way she scrutinized your encounters felt like she was trying to size you up.
“Man, you’re so lucky. I wish I could land a guy like him. How’d you do it?” she blinks at you innocently like she's not trying to steal him away while your mind is still swimming with confusion.
“I thought you said you’d slept with Kakashi.”
She looks at you with complete confusion but you can tell it’s a facade. “Where did you hear that?”
Her voice was all too chipper. “From you. I overheard you at a cafe a few months ago.”
“You must be thinking of someone else. That couldn’t have been me.”
Instead of pushing the matter you play dumb and concede that maybe you were wrong but on the inside your heart is soaring. Sukea's right. The part of you that felt conflicted, desperate to know if you were special or just another conquest, was validated. You are special to him. He wasn’t leading you on and just like that you abandon your conversation with this random girl to go find Kakashi.
You search everywhere you know he likes to eat and shop, before you think to check the training grounds. He’s there with some young kids and he’s fighting them, though you can hardly call it a fight. He's reading while they take swings at him?
You burst out into laughter. This man is so talented that he can actually read smut while three genin come at him all at once. Kakashi looked up from his book recognizing the joyful sound and apologized to his students before appearing at your side.
“Hey! Kakashi-sensei! You said you were gonna train us today!”
“Sorry everyone, something has come up. I’ll make it up to you.”
“You’d really abandon your students for me?”
“You’re important.”
The way he stares at you when he says that beautiful statement shows the sincerity behind his words. You feel it in your bones, he means it.
“Sorry! I’m borrowing your sensei for the rest of the day. He’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Oh? You’re taking me for the rest of the day?”
“Got a problem with that?”
“Not a one.” The nonchalance in his tone makes you tingle. With fingers interlaced you tug him towards your house. “Mind telling me what we’re doing?”
“A re-do.”
“A re-do?”
“Of last night.”
“Okay?” You tug Kakashi till he’s crashing into your chest in front of your house. You slot your key into the nob and open the door while smiling up at him.
“Would you like to come inside?”
He smiles under his mask and lets himself in. Shoes neatly placed by the door, as soon as you're in your socks he spins you around in his arms.
“So what about last night do you specifically want to redo?”
You brace the back of his neck, pulling him towards you and hook your finger in his mask, tugging the fabric down. Lips crashing together, Kakashi’s open ever so slightly, deepening the kiss with a light amount of tongue. You don’t know how to describe the fireworks that ignite and sparkle in your chest as you taste him for the first time. He’s incredible, the kind of kiss a girl only reads about.
Your body melts into his, your arms falling to his chest as he pulls you closer. Each tendon under your fingertips bluked with tension, his need bubbling up to the surface while his mouth explored your lips. Mouths moving in sync, the dizziness sets in and you can’t help the way your brain stutters as you catch up to reality.
You pull away from him needing to catch your breath, a string of saliva still joining your pink skin with his. Your eyes pan up, filled with hearts while his fall back down to your mouth.
“We should have done that.” you whisper.
“I didn’t want to pressure you. I like to take things slow.”
“I don’t know if I can do that with you.”
It is an embarrassing thing to admit but you genuinely feel that way. Now that you know the truth, the desire that had been simmering below the surface was coming out in a tidal wave that threatened to take you both. Instead of insisting that he wanted to keep things slow he gives a wicked grin. “Anything for my princess.”
Your heart leaps into your throat and you lunge back in, ravenous for him. His hands glide down to your hips where he firmly grips you and grinds into you. Soft mewls permeate the air before you lead him towards your room. The door is closed and Kakashi doesn’t mind, he just pushes you up against it, pressing his hardened length into your center as his teeth release your lower lip.
After a wolfish exchange of glances his eyes trace along your jaw bone and take notice of your exposed neck. The pretty flesh could do with a few markings to make sure the entire town knows you are not available. You are claimed…by him.
He sinks into the flesh, earning a whimper from your pretty throat while your hand claws at the handle, trying desperately to rid the barrier between you and the bed. Once the latch is undone you topple into the room and stagger towards the mattress where he’s quick to toss you on your back.
Standing tall at your feet, Kakashi’s finger traces down your shoulder, down your chest, and all the way to your knee.
He curls his finger into the elastic of your socks and discards them one at a time. Next he removes your pants, kissing up your legs and inner thighs before he gets to your shirt. You arch to assist in the removal and are left below him in a bra and undies that you really wish were not the first pair he ever saw.
The man’s hungry eyes don’t care. He leans forward and softly kisses your lips before tracing feather-light smooches across your collarbone and down your sternum. His lips trace your ribs as he reaches around your back to undo the clasp of your bra. Once the tension releases he pulls the garment away and allows his lips to muse down to your pelvis. His tongue lightly licks each hip bone kissing a line over your stomach between them.
Your body wiggles on the bed, squirming to have him inside you, anticipation pricking your skin as you wait for him to rid you of the thin fabric that covers your heat. Instead, Kakashi lays his mouth over the fabric. With a gentle suck, he tugs against your clit, pulling it between his teeth and rolling his tongue over the sensitive spot. You shudder under him, craving more.
Tossing your arms over your head, you angle yourself so your hips buck up into his face. Kakashi takes a finger and pulls your underwear to the side. Two dexterous fingers slip into your slit, weeping with arousal. When they push into you and sink up to the third knuckle, he hooks them upward and begins to stroke.
Tiny cries and whimpers come from your lips. He knows exactly how to touch you, where to stroke, what to kiss, all of it overwhelming you and coming together like a symphony buzzing through your body.
With each stroke against your anterior wall you moan, fisting the sheets as tiny kisses stray from your nerve bundle and travel up your navel to the underside of your breasts. He begins to speak between kisses, “I told you when we first met,” His kisses stray higher, dangerously close to your areolas, “that I read because I want a girlfriend,” he raises his body on the bed and centers himself between your legs, rubbing his length deliciously along your folds “who I can spoil like a princess.” He presses his tip against your labia which opens up and gives way to his entry, earning a gasp with a soul-stealing arch of your back.
The way your body hugs him nearly makes his eyes cross. You’re too perfect. Every part of you is so delicate. He needs to protect it and cherish it. However, he’s afraid he doesn’t know how to cherish you without breaking you just a little. After the blood that rushed from your brain to your clit returns from whence it came you start to string his words together.
“Wait,” you try to think, putting your own words together while he strokes slowly into you with purposeful aim. “You didn’t tell me that.” Each word is laborious as his mushroom head drags against your velvet interior. “Sukea-ah!-Sukea said that.”
“Who do you think Sukea is, darling?” He continues to probe into you purposeful and pleasurable. Your insides coil, unable to control how you react to his precision. His thrusts become heavy and quick. The thoughts that should be crowding your mind vacate. He was trying to tell you something, but what? All you can focus on is the way he glides in and out of you, taking a bit of your soul with each retreat.
He lifts his chest to look down on you, so adorable and needy below him. You paw at his chest politely requesting his lips return to yours. Recapturing them in a kiss, you suck on his lower one, demanding he stay close. He begins to pound into you, steadily getting rougher, “struggling to connect the dots, baby?”
He flips you over in a swift motion, recentering and diving back inside your slick center, anxiously receiving him and swallowing him whole. He puts pressure between your shoulders, pushing you down so your cheek kisses the sheets. His hips slam into your backside, his jewels swinging like a pendulum slapping up into the apex of your sex, hitting you exactly where you want it.
Twisting and moaning on the mattress, you mindlessly thank him for how good he’s treating you, praises to deities flow out of your mouth like a mantra. The smirk on Kakashi’s face is sinful. You are his sole focus and have been such for many months. He has difficulty pinpointing the last thought he had that didn’t revolve around you. Everything he does is tainted with the impurities of his lustful musings. And now that you're here, bent over with him buried up to the hilt, he is never going to be rid of his dirty thoughts about you.
“Com’on babe, who is Sukea?” He grabs you by the breast and pulls you up so your back is flush with his chest as he continues to pulse up into you, slowing his pace and giving you room to think. You almost put it together when his lips resume kissing the juncture of your neck and shoulder, while his fingers toy with your throat, ghosting over the skin, waiting to clamp down and cut off your airway.
“He’s-he’s my friend.”
“Aaand”
“And…and…ah!”
With a punctuated thurst he throws you back off the trail, pushing you down into the mattress again and resuming his harsh pace. You scream and cry overwhelmed by it all, then just when you think you can’t take anymore, his fingers travel between your legs and begin to circle your engorged nub.
You curl in on yourself but with a firm swat you force yourself open again. His movements get more ragged and uneven. For a moment you think he’s going to release but he steadies his breathing. Kakashi didn’t want to cum yet. He wants to look upon your face when he does. He flips you over to your back once more and settles on his knees, pulling you flush against him as he casually strokes. “Princess, I’m not going to ask you again, who do you think Sukea is?”
“What kind of question is that?” you breathe feeling exhaustion from the intense sensations of him driving into you while his fingers play with the peaks of your chest.
Your teeth girt when he captures each nub between his thumb and pointer finger and tugs upwards. The pain makes you clamp down around him to the point he has to let go to stop from painting your insides. With harsh, slow blows, he rams into you while taunting in your ear. “It’s the kind of question that’s supposed to make you think. How am I claiming to have spoken Sukea’s words?”
“Were you Sukea this whole time?”
“Ding ding ding! You won baby. I fell in love with you when I was just trying to mind my own business. You were so adorable in that ramen shop and everytime I saw you I wanted to tell you how you make my heart race. It’s me baby, it’s been me this whole time. And since the day I saw you, you’ve been my world.”
You should be mad but something about his confession was so desperate and sincere. He didn’t just want you, you said he fell in love with you. How didn’t you notice they were the same man? You guess you never had a reason to suspect or think anything of it. Though you would likely punish him for his deceit later, for now, you reach up to his mouth and press your lips into his once more. When you pull back you whisper, “Tell me again.”
“That I’m Sukea?”
“No, you know which part.”
“I love you. I’ve been in love with you and I will keep being in love with you till you send me away.”
You sigh happily into his neck, nudging your nose against his jaw bone, feeling the skin kept secret from so many. As your breath fans over him, he lets loose, his strokes becoming uneven, punching into you harsher and stronger till he grunts out a mouthwatering sound that has you flutter around him and scream out his name. You writhe together, toes curling, bodies caging, grinding into the other as you ride your high.
He stares into your eyes lost in the reality of what just happened till sense is knocked back into him. “Wait,” he pulls out of you suddenly. Cold air replaces his body heat.
“What?!”
“We didn’t...are you on birth control?”
“Of course.”
He happily rests his forehead against yours. “Thank goodness. I can’t believe you got me so careless. I normally think more.”
You circle your legs around his waist and flip him onto his back, sitting astride him victorious. “You think you’re ready to be careless again?”
And with your simple power move, Kakashi feels the hardness return to his member and begins pulsing, needing to be inside you again. You notice and smirk, “I’ll take that as a yes.”

There is no better place to cast out all your worries. Some people like to walk in nature, some prefer losing themselves in sports. But me? Well, in my eyes, there was no happier location than a brick-and-mortar bookstore.

2025 Anticipated books
Hi everyone,
Happy New Year, I hope everyone is well. Ok I am super excited for this year. I have so many books to look forward to this year. I am hoping to read more books from the Twisted Tale series.
Fantasy
Dungeons & Dragons Ravenloft: Heir of Strahd by Delilah S. Dawson- I love D&D, and this is a campaign that I really want to get play. One of my bookish goals is to get the book “I, Strahd: The Memoirs of a Vampire”. I find vampires fascinating. Now this book the description doesn’t give too much away. All we do know is that a group of adventurers are summoned by the dark lord of Barvoia.
Tusk Love by Thea Guanzon- I love to watch Critical Role campaigns! I came in at campaign two and I love all the characters (I do need to finish listening to it). But a well know romance book called “Tusk Love” is prominent in the campaign. I am interested in reading it, since this was such a vocal point for comedy in the campaign.
Brigands & Breadknives by Travis Baldree- I jumped for joy when I saw that book three of my favorite fantasy series is get another book. I am a little disappointed that the main character is not Viv, but a character from Bookshops & Bonedust but I am still happy that we are getting a new book.
Heartbroken by Serna Valentino- this is a book in the Villains series by Disney. I haven’t read any books in this series, but this has one of my favorite Disney villains front and center her royal majesty the Queen of Hearts. So, I will have to wait and see if I like the series.
Roll for Danger: The Cursed Catacombs by Nick Eliopulos- this is a choose your own adventure like book and the author of the Deephaven books are illustrating the book. Looks like it’s the standard newbie adventure of a quest to find a special flower/treasure in some caves. I am looking forward to reading this.
Fool’s Gold: Death by Karaoke by Jenna Woldenga, Felix Irnich, Christopher Hastings, Avery Howett, Princess Abella- This, this book is the book that has made my MVB (Most Important Book) for this year. I love watching Dingo Doodles’ series, besides Critical Role, I think she is one of the D&D people that got me interested in playing. But the big question that I have for the series is are we going to get answers about the ship that was in the purple crystal.
Mystery
Strange Houses by Uketsu- I have been collecting the manga, and when I found out that the states is getting a translated version of the original novel I am totally stoke for it. This is one of my first Japanese mysteries and I am glad that I took the leap when the manga came out, I can’t wait for this one to come out.
Nancy Drew Diaries: Superstitions of “The Scottish Play” by Carolyn Keene- Nancy Drew still alive and well and I am very interested in this book. Now with a little knowledge about the Scottish play this mystery I have high hopes.
My Little Pony Maretime Mysteries by Stephanie Williams- I haven’t watched the new series with the new ponies, but this is a mystery so I am looking forward to reading it.
Cozy Mysteries:
Schooled in Murder by Victoria Gilbert- the title stuck out to me, I do get some dark academia vibes, but I’ll have to wait and see if I am right. So, the main character Jennifer Dalton, who is an author/teacher at the university. Her coworkers are a bit snooty, saying that she writes fiction. One of her students got into a fight with another teacher and the teacher turned up dead, with the student becoming suspect number 1. So, Jennifier gets a team of amateur sleuths together to see what happens. It sounds interesting and I am always looking for a new cozy to read.
Killing Me Souffle by Ellie Alexander- the latest Bakeshop mystery book the cover art is always a treat (ha) to look at. I am still working my way through the whole series, but the Bakeshop series has always been a go too to de-stress from a chaotic day.
The Chow Maniac by Vivien Chien- Yes, I love this series, I am an avid fan of the series, and I am always happy when I see a new book.
Murder By Cheesecake: a Golden Girls Cozy Mystery by Rachel Ekstrom Courage- I am very curious about this book; I have watched that episode where the ladies took part in murder mystery weekend (and yes that is one of my favorite episodes). I am hoping that this will be a series, and I do hope there are plenty of clap backs that the girls are known for.
Bait and Swiss a Cheese Shop mystery by Korina Moss- I have been a fan of the series for a while now and I have been interested to know about Willa’s Ex best friend and fiancé since it was mentioned. I guess the title is very appropriate since it has got my attention.
Misc
Escape the Pizzaplex by Scott Cawthon, Lyndasy Ely- YES new year new Freddy’s book that is coming out. My opinion I love the original games very much, but I love the creativity of the Security Breach. From the looks of it we are playing the character Cassie.
Manga
Sherlock Holmes Vol 1 A Study in Scarlet by Sir Arhtur Conan Doyle- I was surprised that that they started making classic stories into manga. But when I saw that they were making Sherlock Holmes (I know they made a manga series for the BBC Sherlock) I am interested in collecting the series. I am hoping that they might make some Agatha Christie manga too.
Usotoki Rhetoric vol 10 by Ritsu Miyako- I discovered this manga last year and I have been hooked on it from the get-go. I am sad that this is the last volume in the series, but I can’t wait to read it.
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Author Conan Doyle- Not much is said about this one, but I guess I’ll wait and see.
Detectives These Days are Crazy! Vol 1 by Masakuni Iharashi- I came across this series by accident but since Usotoki Rhetoric is ending I do need to find another series to fill the place for it.
I have many more books this year but these 19 books are the ones that I am most interested in and if write anymore books down, I think this would be a 4 page list but these are just the ones that are on my bookish radar for the moment that I have been looking forward too since 2024.
What are some of your anticipated books for the year?

His piercing gaze flickers over the menu, lips quirking into a faint smirk as he considers his options. You watch him, captivated by the way his mind works, always calculating, always one step ahead.
When he finally looks up, his eyes meet yours, a hint of amusement dancing within them. "What do you recommend?" he asks, voice low and smooth like velvet.

Toji quirks an eyebrow, a ghost of a smile playing on his lips. "Smooth talker," he teases, but there's a hint of fondness in his tone.
You reach out and gently bump your shoulder against his. "Seriously though," you say softly. "As long as I'm with you, the future doesn't seem so scary."
For a moment, Toji is silent, his gaze softening as he looks at you. Then, he stubs out his cigarette and turns to face you fully, his hand finding yours in the darkness.

sevika and reader shopping tgt? fluffy n cutesy!!

it was funny. seeing a big, strong, and stern faced woman carrying the shopping bags that belong to her loving smaller girlfriend. the bags were in pretty colours, contrast to the darker clothes sevika was wearing while u were dressed in all pink!
“sevi!!! can we get this? this is so cute, and it'll look so good on you! look, we could match!”
“sev, that would so suit you! should get it.”
“do you think this would look cute on me, 'vika?”
she bought some of ur clothes and accessories and so bought some of hers! u were willing to lay and she declined as she wanted to pay but u were very persisted, she gave into ur pleas easily since she can't say no to that pretty face of urs any longer.
she'd give other people a slight glare if she noticed someome checking u out or looming at the two of u weirdly. people should just mind their business, right? just two girls shopping! more like a couple shopping together, even if u could barely keep ur hands off her. u always had a hold of her hand or ur arm was wrapped around her thick arm.
the two of u went from store to store, noodle place to cheesecake place, clothing to jewellery... she even sat with u while u got ur nails done as u yapped away, and she was listening. and now, your nails were two colours, ur favourite and hers, and of course, u would do such a thing, u were such a sweetheart. this was probably the best day u have ever had with her!!!
“we soo need to get this!! it'll so good in the kitchen.” “... does look good, sweet girl.”
and soon, the two of u were on ur way back home. she's carrying u bridal style back to the car since u mentioned once that ur toes hurt and being the kind woman she was with u, she didn't want u to be in such pain:( she's such a sweetheart with u.
she shut the car door for u before she made her way to the driver seat.
“today was so fun, sevi! im super glad that u got to spend time with me.” since u knew she was always busy, but not sure with what. that was a mystery that u didn't pry about. it was none of ur business and she was glad that u respected her boundaries about such things.
“of course, sweetheart. wouldn't miss your happiness for the world.”

Hanma relationship headcannons
- He definitely pulls, so he’s been with a ton of girls. None of them lasted more than 2 months, and he just used them. You were supposed to just be another girl he used then tossed away, but he ended up staying. You were fun, and he needed more people apart from Kisaki to annoy.
- This mf is definitely annoying. Can and WILL ask you if you’re on your period whenever your mad (he knows you aren’t, he’s probably being creepy and tracking your cycle too.).
- The boys in Valhalla probably ask him for advice with girls. His advice is bad.
- “Girls hate it when they call you and you don’t pick up straight away. So if you can’t answer your woman, just switch your phone off. She can’t question you if you do that.”
- “When you guys go out, don’t pay. Let the girl pay, or you’re executing toxic masculinity, and she won’t like that. You guys need to be more woke.”
- He KNOWS his advice is bad, which is why he doesn’t use any of those tips with you. If you guys go out, none of you are paying. He’ll dine and dash. Want something from a shop? Distract the guy at the counter and he’ll grab it and run.
- At this point in your relationship, he’ll probably catch feelings and he won’t just randomly dump you over text.
- When Halloween rolls around, you two prank call Kisaki and literally everyone in Valhalla.
- Despite how annoying he is, he never forgets a special occasion. He’ll act like he did only to surprise you later. Probably got you a pet chicken for your birthday but then you made him take it back because he stole it.
- Would rather DIE than admit he gets jealous whenever you interact with boys. Not just any boys, but specifically those nice guys who are sensitive and are genuinely sweet to girls.
- He can’t be like that, he’ll forever have a reputation of playing around with girls and being a womanizer. Even if he’s in a dedicated relationship with you, he still gets paranoid you might realize that you deserve better and leave him.
- Definitely high maintenance when he catches feelings. Texts you 20 times a day and expects you to reply and have a conversation with him.
- Has a bad habit of sneaking into your room whilst you’re asleep and standing over you until you wake up to scare you.
- Refuses to stop until you move in with him, and one day you do!
- Leaves empty noodle cups, dirty socks and drinking glasses all around your shared room. He won’t even help to clean, he’ll just give you a big ass grin and promise not to do it again.
- Likes to catch you off-guard, like twice a year he writes you a very meaningful poem and leaves it in the pocket of a piece of clothing you wear a lot. He expects you to give him tons of kisses whenever he does.
- Doesn’t stop talking about you to Kisaki. It’s always “Oh yeah, Y/N likes that.” “I wonder what she’s doing right now..” “Y/N says she doesn’t like you.”
- Yes, he does tell people you are pretending to like but don’t actually that you dislike them. So you probably shouldn’t tell him if you don’t like someone..
- Accuses Kisaki of being jealous whenever he tells Hanma to shut up. “Jeez, Kisaki! If you want a girlfriend, I’ll be your trusted wingman. First off, make sure to disappear randomly to make yourself mysterious, girls love that…”
