I decided to draw more Non-Canon Artwork of the SwilTaett Cast, as well as how I believe they would interact with some of their noteable design inspirations!

Although this image won't be as style-accurate as the next, I first wanted to present the potential dynamic between Doenor and Mirror Man from Jack Stauber's OPAL!

The inspiration is in their shared surroundings of self-reflective mirror mazes, with Doenor only being able to see reflections of herself after the snowglobe was forced onto her head as a means of punishment.

The next interaction is with Fawnne alongside her main inspiration and initial Voice Claim, Raggedy Ann (specifically based on the design to go with Didi Conn's performance in 'Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure')!

The similarities between Annie and Fawnne is much clearer than for Doenor and Mirror Man, with both being Rag Dollies associated with Deep Deep Woods and Homeland Forests respectively.

Raggedy Ann unfortunately doesn't have a canon height (which is why there isn't anything listed in the Concept Art), although she was definitely scaled up in this representation to allow all of the details in her design to be visible, if her canon height was between 1'0"-1'3.5", it would mean that Raggedy Ann would only be as tall as Fawnne's questionably-existing kneecap.

As somewhat of a bonus and also just as spriting practice, I also attempted to make Overworld Sprites for Raggedy Ann, Raggedy Andy, Babette and most other Playroom Dolls using Ann's upscaled version as reference!

As it was known that Jasper made a deal with Edge, to give his daughter to Edge to mate his son to have a better and proper heir to the pride.

But why? Could Edge find some others that are not in the Grove? What were Jasper's thoughts and intentions when killing Merry if he wanted to make a deal with Edge to give him one of his heirs to mate with his son? They're right to say that Jasoer not only isn't a good king but also not a good father. He was looking after himself and he wanted his pride to follow his rule when it came to survival.

Edge never intended for Adamant and Fade to have kids. It's purely a business partnership, with Face being the "face" of his father's enterprise and Adamant looking out for him and being the enforcer of his rule. If the pair of them wish to have their own mates outside of the partnership, that's whatever as far as Edge is concerned.

As for your question as to why Adamant has been chosen specifically, I can give one non-spoiler reason: the Golden Grove is the smallest pride under Edge's rule so they're naturally the first choice to surrender an Heir because anywhere else makes Edge's monthly payment tariff via food and so on.

There's another reason but it's spoilers. c:

But she certainly wasn't chosen before she was born. That decision wasn't made until after he saw her hunt in Chapter 5. He was still weighing his options before then. But yeah, co-rulers are not always necessarily romantically involved and they do not always have kids. Some don't even assume the title of King or Queen alongside their mate at all. Opal, for example, is not officially a King of the Thundering Mountains despite being Obsidian's mate because he feels the title doesn't suit him. He's still just referred to as a Jester.

Even without kids, the future of the pride is always ensured through the Knight. If the ruling body happens to die without Heirs or Heirs that are not old enough to rule, the Knight will always ascend to the throne. Like Obsidian did when Pyrite and Flint (Diamond's parents) died suddenly.

It's why we always object to the Queen title being viewed as on par with the deputy position in Warrior Cats. Nope, the "deputy" or second-in-command of the pride is always the Knight.

Sorry, this answer got a bit long-winded. I do think I need to try and cover this somehow somewhere in the comic but it's finding that spot to do it in. oof - RJ

her lore is basically that she is a subspecies apex predator kind of mermaid that got brought into tearcrown after a few soldiers found her tanged in some kelp in the outskirts of tearcrown . She was promptly brought in and given a home within tearcrown despite her… non-conventional looks. She is entirely blind and her eyes are sensitive to what little light she can see, so she wears a blindfold made from kelp to regulate herself. During her prime she worked as a mailman for tearcrown, announcing important news and mailing gifts that sorta thing . She also had a thing for mystic opal cookie, and she also served specifically as the gem mermaid’s maid. (They’re just pining lesbians leave them be)

however, when white pearl becomes black pearl and the duskgloom sea is formed, drifting kelp cannot keep up with the other mermaids and is left behind in the duskgloom sea. She had to adapt to the now eerily quiet waters along with the threat of black pearl, so drifting kelp has changed quite a lot since her time in what was tearcrown

Nowadays, she scavenges whatever black pearl remains of her meals and hides at the bottom of the sea, searching for remnants of her life and perhaps something to eat thats alive for once

I made a new alien world in CAW! I've been working on this since last summer. I made the terrain in World Machine and spent hours working on the routing data. My own playtesting had the occasional routing error, but no lag. There are dive lots, ports (but no prebuilt residential houseboats because we know how that goes with sims), and a base camp so you can use this as a vacation world, if you wish.

I was thinking about making Arcanus (84379374) and Lichtbunt (84284805) an official hatchery pair, and potentially changing Lichtbunt o Mop instead of Opal but I need some opinions on it.

Generally I prefer my pairs to be more predictable than the terts on those two, with the colors ranging from Shadow all the way down to Gold but I thought it could be nice variety from my pairs that only have one outcome.

Before I show you possible hatchlings (under the poll) I need you to know that with a range as big as theirs it will be impossible for me to give them matching eyes on every most hatchlings.

Their hatchlings price would be 55kt/g or less.

Their full tert range, and some possible offspring ( I specifically scried them with non matching eyes since those will be more of a happy accident then something I can control)

Natural blue topaz is very rare, so to get the color blue, a colorless or pale yellow topaz is heated or irradiated using gamma radiation. Subatomic particles are shot through the topaz at high speeds, which knocks some of the electrons out of orbit, causing the light that travels through the crystal to change and the amount of light absorbed. Due to the color wavelength changing, the human eye perceived the topaz as blue [2].

Fun Fact: Turquoise is another mineral that contains water in its structure; this comes in the form of a hydrated phosphate of either copper or aluminum. Turquoise was one of the first gemstones to be mined, with some jewelry dating back to around 5000 BCE. Even though it has been used in jewelry for thousands of years, its value has decreased due to the treatments and synthetic turquoise appearing more often in the market. Even though they are minerals, well-formed crystals are rarely found on their own, with most turquoise growing closely packed around another mineral, causing it to have a higher durability [3]. Due to its lower hardness level, caring for any turquoise jewelry is important, and it is recommended not to use it while doing any sort of manual labor as the gemstone can be easily damaged. Jewelry designers place a durable bezel around the gem to prevent scratches and protect it. However, the bezel can only protect the gemstone to a limited degree since it is still exposed to open air. It is also recommended not to get the gemstone wet as it can absorb liquids due to its low porosity, which can alter its color [4].

below the cut is basic facts of the opal and facts on spencer, all i really did was rewrite the amulet itself and just gave it to an existing oc of mine. i do not care what anyone else does so long as y'all respectful to eachother and dont incite bullying or harassment about it.

so yeah, i decided to rework my version of 963 (amulet) a little, its still the same anomaly idea i have where it heals wounds and keeps the host that's bonded to it alive without the possession bs. quick facts:

its an opal!! Specifically a black opal, only really found in australia. When it 'heals' wounds it gains more color to it.

while its bonded to one host at any given time it can still heal those who aren't its host. just it doesn't grant the person immortality; and at most can heal most surface level / first and second layer of skin. Unlike healing host: it cannot heal deeper wounds, loss of limbs etc. for others and doesnt grant immortality.

although it can prevent death and heal fatal wounds, in the situation where if the host isnt made contact with the opal in a time span (idk how long yet) it won't work. Old host will be fully dead and gone, and then opal will choose a new person who wears it next. as a big note: Opal can NOT and does NOT possess others. i am using host as a term for the 'main wearer' that it grants the main immortality aspect to.

depending how deep the wound is there are still scars.

i will work on actual scp file sort of thing for it but this is the basics. now, i also changed the current main wearer/host (idk right term) to be spencer kripke. a dear oc of mine, i felt it was a lot easier than coming up with a brand new oc with brand new lore. Spencer Kripke facts:

autsitic adhd, he does have ptsd due to being at the foundation but he copes well i think. a little paranoid and insomanic about it.

while he was given the Opal for whatever reason, he was already anomalous. he has no shadow, regardless of light type he cannot have one. shadows from other objects seem to 'pass through' him and appear behind him and a little disorted. yet he is still very visible and very tanigible.

panromantic greysexual, he/him mostly but doesnt mind the occainsional they/them as long as it isn't constant.

can play guitar, specifically the acoustic guitar. he is a fan of nirvana and Metallica and similar bands. he will talk non-stop about his interests!

in the foundation he is a senior researcher, he specializes more so in biological sciences but knows a bit about other stuff.

erm also he has a great uncle who is of the church of the broken god in the maxwellism group. thumbs up.
