I decided to draw more Non-Canon Artwork of the SwilTaett Cast, as well as how I believe they would interact with some of their noteable design inspirations!

Although this image won't be as style-accurate as the next, I first wanted to present the potential dynamic between Doenor and Mirror Man from Jack Stauber's OPAL!

The inspiration is in their shared surroundings of self-reflective mirror mazes, with Doenor only being able to see reflections of herself after the snowglobe was forced onto her head as a means of punishment.

The next interaction is with Fawnne alongside her main inspiration and initial Voice Claim, Raggedy Ann (specifically based on the design to go with Didi Conn's performance in 'Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure')!

The similarities between Annie and Fawnne is much clearer than for Doenor and Mirror Man, with both being Rag Dollies associated with Deep Deep Woods and Homeland Forests respectively.

Raggedy Ann unfortunately doesn't have a canon height (which is why there isn't anything listed in the Concept Art), although she was definitely scaled up in this representation to allow all of the details in her design to be visible, if her canon height was between 1'0"-1'3.5", it would mean that Raggedy Ann would only be as tall as Fawnne's questionably-existing kneecap.

As somewhat of a bonus and also just as spriting practice, I also attempted to make Overworld Sprites for Raggedy Ann, Raggedy Andy, Babette and most other Playroom Dolls using Ann's upscaled version as reference!

I wasn't initially sure about suggesting SwilTaett Cast Members (especially since this also isn't something I often do), but after seeing the response to the most recent asks on your Tumblr Account, I'm here to suggest the SwilTaett Secret Bosses of ACTs 1 and 2!

But honestly, things have been going well! I know that activity with this account has been slow for a while, but that's due to me working on other AU projects of mine as an Owner and Project Manager (such as with what I do for SwilTaett). I hope that you understand.

SoulBlast Has New Lore?

Terra has recently created and written a multi-paragraph explanation for the new lore of Hex (Swatch), featuring a backstory of many colors in varying tones!

Partnership Status Update

As it's not something that's been made clear yet, just like how open Team Member positions are currently, to say that Partnership opportunities with other Undertale/Deltarune are always available for projects like SoulBlast (and for SwilTaett too because the NEWSLETTERs here are written by @imaginary-regret-608 because of m and Terra working together on both projects) unless said otherwise beforehand!

So there's stuff QUOTED from Terra, but what's he been up to since the Nintendo Direct?

“Terra here. I don’t have very much to say yet again, as not much has gone on. As you may have read above, I created all of the lore for Hex the other day and we’ve made some more progress on one of the songs. As seen above, this song has a more "cinematic" style, which may make more sense once we release the full thing. Once we get more designs finished we can do thumbnails and other things, allowing us to finally post songs.”

“Hey, it’s Alter, back again with yet another newsletter section (podcast ah intro). Getting straight to the point, I’ve been trying to pick up my work pace on stuff (though I get really paranoid that things aren’t made right when they absolutely are, so that definitely doesn’t speed anything up…I’m sure some of you get the feeling). SoulBlast-wise, to be honest, not much has been done, Terra’s been writing some lore that I kinda not really help out with. Deltaswap-wise, progress has been going pretty good…I’ve been starting to revise some dialogue to account for the finalized lore, and I’ve begun designing Berdly! His ref sheet (alongside the edits to Noelle’s ref sheet) will be coming hopefully within the next month or so, so keep an eye out for those! (DM me if interested in my Deltaswap take.) I've returned to making Concept Art for ACT 2 in order to introduce Meru, a minor NPC StoriSOUL alongside her surprising choice of an Anonymous ally, Weasel!

Meru was made to ACT as the embodiment of a relaxed cosplayer, and balance to the chaos within Trendsetter Studios, with Weasel's unique sense of a gremlin-like nature slowly becoming endearing as time passes.

I was also able to make Overworld Sprites for Meru and Weasel, which helped decide palettes and heights between them, although Meru's visible eye is better presented in the drawn Concept Art, where the pupil is clearly black)!

MASSIVE SWILTAETT (DELTATWIST) UPDATE.

I realized that I haven't made a single SwilTaett update here since I revealed it now being owned by me, and I hope that this post can be a good source of understanding (as well as also acting as a 'SwilTaett Masterpost')!

First, the Cast Designs for SwilTaett's very own Three Heroes! There are two sets of designs made so far (with the second image being what's currently canon), and here's what they look like:

In regards to Amstda (the ghost thing from that's kinda like Mad Dummy), they're situation and plans are being entirely reconsidered by Me and the COB MOB (yes that is our actual team name). Instead of just being a reskin Ralsei Replacement, Amstda will now be introduced in ACT 3, potentially related to a certain yearning for the mines! Also, Jack's design in the Heavens has an Overworld Sprite and it looks like this:

It's the boy! The naive, yet kindhearted sidekick himself, ready to turn into whatever is needed to get the job done!

Next up is the Secret Bosses! ACT 1's Secret Boss can currently be shown right now, and that's Doenor! The once cheerful and happy party planner, turned into a cold and distant prisoner...

(She's also SwilTaett's Jevil Replacement!)

And just because you can see her doesn't mean she can see you! (despite it also acting as a demonstration of Doenor's Typing Quirk, i did not realize how many 'i's were in my description!)

Speaking of Secret Bosses, ACT 2's Secret Boss is @nekowomancer12666 Grimpula, the two-halved StoriSOUL between a has-been catgirl influencer and sports-loving serpent! Who may also have a shared stomach, but even they're not sure!

(Grimpula is also SwilTaett's Spamton Replacement, whose glowing eyes are hidden behind her stylish shades!)

I decided to do a one-off experiment with having a more Realistic and Non-Canon Humanoid Style because of how many developments I haven’t been able to share recently, so I did a redraw for somebody with similar proportions to Merrie (although I likely won't be doing something like this again because of how the final result was)!

However, the final result has already been added as a Server Emote in the SwilTaett Server under the name ':MerrieGetsReal:'!

I'm glad to see how often my Cast Members are appearing in Fanart recently, with every piece still being as surprising and appreciated as the last!

Although I wasn't planning to re-use Darkner Concepts from older projects of mine (especially because Deltarune: Lights, Camera, ACT! is an Old Version of a Chapter 3 Take that was indirectly discontinued because of SwilTaett), I'm now having ideas about how they could appear in the later ACTs of the AU! Which means that they should eventually be given names/personali, and this being the first piece of publicly-revealed information about anything from beyond ACT 4.

If this does happen, I'll definitely try to include references to the other members in this sock-based subsection of the UnderTale/Deltarune Community!

I've finally returned to making Talksprites for SwilTaett, this time with some for both Fawnne and Marrteir in order to complete the Handymen from ACTs 1-4 (with Propette potentially ), although this hopefully won't be all of them!

(There were more made based on Fawnne's Hatless Version, but only these five are being shown because of Tumblr's posts having an Image Limit).

A similar number of Talksprites were also given to Marrteir, who was instead given similar shading to what's been seen of Crewelle and IGNEO MALICE's Talksprites in ACT 1 (which is because they'll likely all use the New Effects given to IGNEO MALICE whenever it's next needed)!

Both sets of Talksprites include their own individual references to older Concept Art of them across the time that they've been publicly-revealed, such as to their Design Reveals in Fawnne's flustered sweating in reference to Lady's pose in the Donkey Kong Arcade Game Promo Ad, and Marrteir's eyeroll/source of anger initially being used to show his possible view on Helpress!

I'm here to introduce Count Rendorime and Propette! The Main Boss and Former-Handyman of ACT 7!

Count Rendorime is the handsome and charismatic leader, and is based on a 1931 English-language ‘DRACULA’ film poster in the Heavens, recently brought back to cinema thanks to the Mayor of Homeland!

Propette, first introduced as the creator of the PRISM, is the sorter of all things ITEM and order given form with a French Accent (which could potentially lead to unique gimmicks in her FIGHT)!

Like other Handymen, she also worked with the Count in the past, which is why the similarities in palettes are there.

Unfortunately, Count Rendorime had only been recently redesigned, so an Overworld Sprite hasn't been made for them yet. Until then, their second image is an example of how they would likely speak from the SwilTaett Script (which also includes the sisterly duo in charge of managing scripts, so does that mean this is a script within a script?)!

[HAPPY 9TH ANNIVERSARY, UNDERTALE! + TaleTwist/SwilTaett Design Reveal]

I made Concept Art and an Overworld Sprite of Fawnne in a Muffet-Inspired outfit based on an idea of the Handymen being drawn in custom outfits corresponding with whoever shares the same SOUL Trait in Undertale (with her having thicker drawn-on eyebrows meant to look like Muffet's extra eyes)!

However, I wasn't able to contunue after Fawnne because of Ripper and Crewelle/IGNEO MALICE not changing Kris' SOUL Trait during ACT 1.

These images are from the recent additions to the SwilTaett Script, with both moments being from ACT 4 because of the most recent Undertale/Deltarune NEWSLETTER, and how ACT 4 is a past version of TaleTwist's SIERRA LESSE.

Finally, I wanted to present how I believe the SwilTaett Cast would interact with the most recently revealed Beta Designs of their Deltarune counterparts, including between Lizzie's Design in the Storisets and Queen's Beta Design, as well as Helpress and Mad Mailer!

I did want the Concept Art to have a comedic tone throughout, however, I have written about my thoughts on UnderTale's 9th Anniversary and the current state of SwilTaett in the bottom-right of the image. Please take the time to read it when you can.

In regards to the Design Reveal hinted in the title, and because of the importance of the number 9 across the Anniversary Undertale/Deltarune NEWSLETTER, I'm finally choosing to show the appearance of CHARA in the Storisets across TaleTwist and SwilTaett!

The Concept Art has existed since December 10th of 2023, but because of how confusing TaleTwist's development has been and continues to be with how much has changed across its rewrites and reimagined versions, I've been waiting until now to finally present it.

Jack and his parents, Lizzie and Prynce, have now received Overworld Sprites for their Designs in the Storisets!

Lizzie is Jack’s mother and the owner of Homeland's very own Mother Deetz-Proclaimed 'tacky toy shop'!

She has a good relationship with Kris and shares the same mole on her face as them, which was chosen because of Kris and Queen's dynamic in Chapter 2 of Deltarune, and because of how Queen appears to have one because of a mistake in her Talksprites.

Prynce is Jack's Father, and the leader of the %$#@-Ups Bullying Squad, where Susie ACTs as his sidekick!

Prynce will likely appear in the Storisets during ACTs 2 and 4, with an appearance based on snapping turtles and English royalty, as well as an older piece of SwilTaett Fanart made by @pobthesecond (which was actually made for Jack's Design before his changed name was even revealed).

Jack's and Prynce's Developments are both somewhat connected to Susie, with her leaving the %$#@-Ups (which she's chooses to do after seeing ACT 2's Storiset) being a very important decision which affects all three Cast Members.

Jack now feels like he's able to trust Susie more after she stops associating with Prynce, who instead decides to blame the consequences on Susie, which I also made a drawn representation beforehand of to help with writing Prynce and Lizzie.

Whereas Lizzie will have a more comedic role attempting to balance the negativity of SIERRA LESSE being under Matamoor's control and the effect that has on the ACT 4 StoriSOULs. Lizzie would likely sometimes enable Prynce to continue with his bullying tendencies because of her finding it funny when it happens to others, but she would never enable anything to happen to Jack.

I know that it's been a while since an actual Teaser was shown here and I apologize, but I'm now choosing to present a hint at something that me and @terrasaviorx have been working on behind-the-scenes!

Not much can be said about what this will eventually amount to, or what else has been made for the later ACTs in the Staff Channels of the SwilTaett Server, but all that I'm able to say for now is that the light's gonna shine on you!

There are two references within the image itself, with the design being a reference to the appearance of the Sun when seen in 'I Look, And What Do I See?' from Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure, with the 'I look, and I can't see...' line also being an altered version of the song's titular lyrics.

The tone of these references likely won't be what's seen in ACT 4 of SwilTaett, and was only made because of the similarities in design, but it probably won't be the last references made with this StoriSOUL after the Design Reveal happens (although it might not just be limited to Raggedy Ann & Andy)!

[SwilTaett] - A Very Experimental Day!

I wanted to experiment with other styles of artwork and background making, so I tried to make a Non-Canon 'SUSIEZILLA' Poster from if it was made by Matamoor in ACT 4, a time in the Storisets that Susie isn't present for (which was also inspired by old Godzilla movie posters in regards to the descriptions used)!

By the time this has been posted, there's also been a new upload to my YouTube Channel as the first ever publicly-revealled Full Speedpaint!

I was also able to experiment through working with making my own Japanese netsuke, which were small objects used to fasten kimonos in the 19th Century, and usually took the shape of animals or beings of mythology. I wanted to choose a simple and thematic shape for my first time, so I made a version with Fawnne's head, showing the Concept Art that I drew as reference to the left side of the final result!

I've never done anything with clay or ceramics overall, so I hope that this sets a good standard.

However, because of clay being a natural material, this could also technically be a canon ITEM through being one of Fawnne's many gifts to Stumpy!

Here are other examples, showing her head from different angles, as well as comparing her to what others were making at the same time!
