I wasn't initially sure about suggesting SwilTaett Cast Members (especially since this also isn't something I often do), but after seeing the response to the most recent asks on your Tumblr Account, I'm here to suggest the SwilTaett Secret Bosses of ACTs 1 and 2!

Doenor, the cold, imprisoned and distant former party plannner (who can only see her own face due to the mirrors within the snowglobe)!

But honestly, things have been going well! I know that activity with this account has been slow for a while, but that's due to me working on other AU projects of mine as an Owner and Project Manager (such as with what I do for SwilTaett). I hope that you understand.

I never expected you to interact with CanonSwap: One Giant Leap (or even know that it existed to begin with), so I feel equally honoured and somewhat intimidated about this entire thing happening. But thank you for taking the time to ask this! And thank you for helping to keep CanonSwap alive!

SoulBlast Has New Lore?

Terra has recently created and written a multi-paragraph explanation for the new lore of Hex (Swatch), featuring a backstory of many colors in varying tones!

The SoulBlast team is still currently looking for team members, with all positions being open! Artists are definitely needed, but every opportunity is equally open and can be accessed in the upcoming-team specific Discord

After the few newsletters that were changed for their own reasons, such as the one made for the Nintendo Direct, we finally return to form with a Music Teaser of the team's newest battle theme with its usual placeholder name!

Partnership Status Update

As it's not something that's been made clear yet, just like how open Team Member positions are currently, to say that Partnership opportunities with other Undertale/Deltarune are always available for projects like SoulBlast (and for SwilTaett too because the NEWSLETTERs here are written by @imaginary-regret-608 because of m and Terra working together on both projects) unless said otherwise beforehand!

So there's stuff QUOTED from Terra, but what's he been up to since the Nintendo Direct?

“Terra here. I don’t have very much to say yet again, as not much has gone on. As you may have read above, I created all of the lore for Hex the other day and we’ve made some more progress on one of the songs. As seen above, this song has a more "cinematic" style, which may make more sense once we release the full thing. Once we get more designs finished we can do thumbnails and other things, allowing us to finally post songs.”

Was Alternimo even IN the last newsletter? No? Well he's here now!

“Hey, it’s Alter, back again with yet another newsletter section (podcast ah intro). Getting straight to the point, I’ve been trying to pick up my work pace on stuff (though I get really paranoid that things aren’t made right when they absolutely are, so that definitely doesn’t speed anything up…I’m sure some of you get the feeling). SoulBlast-wise, to be honest, not much has been done, Terra’s been writing some lore that I kinda not really help out with. Deltaswap-wise, progress has been going pretty good…I’ve been starting to revise some dialogue to account for the finalized lore, and I’ve begun designing Berdly! His ref sheet (alongside the edits to Noelle’s ref sheet) will be coming hopefully within the next month or so, so keep an eye out for those! (DM me if interested in my Deltaswap take.) Anyway, that’ll conclude this little Alter update. Terra and I have SoulBlast thinking to do…so, uh, here’s to hoping I evade succumbing to his insanity once more????”

I decided to draw more Non-Canon Artwork of the SwilTaett Cast, as well as how I believe they would interact with some of their noteable design inspirations!

Although this image won't be as style-accurate as the next, I first wanted to present the potential dynamic between Doenor and Mirror Man from Jack Stauber's OPAL!

The inspiration is in their shared surroundings of self-reflective mirror mazes, with Doenor only being able to see reflections of herself after the snowglobe was forced onto her head as a means of punishment.

The next interaction is with Fawnne alongside her main inspiration and initial Voice Claim, Raggedy Ann (specifically based on the design to go with Didi Conn's performance in 'Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure')!

The similarities between Annie and Fawnne is much clearer than for Doenor and Mirror Man, with both being Rag Dollies associated with Deep Deep Woods and Homeland Forests respectively.

Raggedy Ann unfortunately doesn't have a canon height (which is why there isn't anything listed in the Concept Art), although she was definitely scaled up in this representation to allow all of the details in her design to be visible, if her canon height was between 1'0"-1'3.5", it would mean that Raggedy Ann would only be as tall as Fawnne's questionably-existing kneecap.

As somewhat of a bonus and also just as spriting practice, I also attempted to make Overworld Sprites for Raggedy Ann, Raggedy Andy, Babette and most other Playroom Dolls using Ann's upscaled version as reference!

And as your birthday and the SwilTaett Anniversary are on the same day (and as I remembered you said that Woostern was your favorite from an older post), Merrie and Fawnne have teamed up to make the best 'Welcome Home' party that a clown girl and a crazed forest woman can make!

I've never drawn any of your Secret Bosses before, so I hope that I accurately portrayed Woostern in a style-accurate manner.

With there being only two days until the currently-vague, Grimpula-based media is released, I wanted to keep most public SwilTaett reveals and ideas related to ACT 2 until then. This time, I wanted to practice by making Concept Art of Helpress again!

I've been trying animation again after working on more of the Character Reference Sheets, with realising how much this song surprisingly fits SwilTaett, as well as with how this specific part that I was able to do so far represents the Meru and Weasel's differences despite how well they get along.

I don't know how much more of this will be made (or if it will be at a consistent quality), but if this is everything, then I hope you enjoy it!

I'm glad to see how often my Cast Members are appearing in Fanart recently, with every piece still being as surprising and appreciated as the last!

Although I wasn't planning to re-use Darkner Concepts from older projects of mine (especially because Deltarune: Lights, Camera, ACT! is an Old Version of a Chapter 3 Take that was indirectly discontinued because of SwilTaett), I'm now having ideas about how they could appear in the later ACTs of the AU! Which means that they should eventually be given names/personali, and this being the first piece of publicly-revealed information about anything from beyond ACT 4.

If this does happen, I'll definitely try to include references to the other members in this sock-based subsection of the UnderTale/Deltarune Community!

To celebrate the trailer of Deltarune Chapters 1-4 appearing in the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, I decided to draw this after thinking about making Susie Talksprites for both her Heavens and Storisets designs (as well as giving other perspectives on Matamoor and the Handymen), with the style itself based on the earliest piece of Deltarune Concept Art revealed by Toby as 'THE FUN GANG'!

These special StoriSOULs from ACT 5 are here to test your PATIENCE in every two ways possible!

Faded Ribbon is the bratty and quick-to-demand fashion designer, immaturely commanding a pile of sucky, sock-y Footsoldiers. You might even see some of her work in shops!

Toy Knife, however, is a dough-y figure that much rather just watch the bread rise in the oven. She'll often sprinkle in food puns whilst time passes, but they can be quite cheesy! Although she also doesn't work alone, usually having Gingerbread Humans and Monsters by her side, and occasionally with the help of a no-nonsense and pasta-based witch known as The Saucerra (who was especially inspired by witches like La Befana from Italian Mythology)!

These three have been in waiting for a while, which is why there's two versions of their Overworld Sprites in the third image, with their older versions being from October 10th and July 18th of 2024 respectively!

(Well now that he's no longer in the square-shaped picture, isn't there another geometric bunch that could be technically treated as trespassers...?)

(With Glitch now (hopefully) no longer being an issue, a sense of clarity washes over them which makes them all ask about why... were they still there? Why were they ever there to begin with?)

(But none of that really matters while you're getting chased out the building by Tenna's and Rook's personal mafia. And now the two are able to get up to whatever offscreen, lovey-dovey shenanigans which may not be all-ages-appropriate that they want to, clearly still with Valentine's on the screen and brain...)

Sorry that I took so much longer to respond than with previous Reblogs, but by the time I'd finished what my response was meant to be, I realised that what you'd done with the Shadowguys was a better continuation of what I'd done anyways.

I really liked being able to work on this together alongside @tvlandofficiall , @mrchaosman and @absoluteromance , and seeing how everybody was able to contribute in their own ways as a celebration of what we've all been able to do with just a name in a website LINK!

I ended up being much more experimental than I thought I'd be, especially when trying to keep everybody's respective styles accurate (and even recreating the look of the creative FIGHTing style between Tenna and Glitch)!

And to end this in the way that I believe it deserves, let's give our stars one last chance to give both themselves and their subordinates a post-performance review:

Happy Easter Sunday and 4/20 Day simultaneously, which we're celebrating this calendar coincidence by revealing the reinvented version of Shrimm P. Rawn and most of the elements surrounding him!

His original ideas felt too detached from the rest of the ACT, despite me not having shown anything else of it publicly, as well as also incorporating more of the real Rastafarian culture that he was based on.

SwilTaett updates weren't meant to slow down as much as they have, but most of the recent developments are either a spoiler from a later ACT or something that would be better suited for a later event, which likely means that more will be seen around the release of Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 because of it also sharing an Anniversary Month with SwilTaett!
