I'm glad to see how often my Cast Members are appearing in Fanart recently, with every piece still being as surprising and appreciated as the last!

Although I wasn't planning to re-use Darkner Concepts from older projects of mine (especially because Deltarune: Lights, Camera, ACT! is an Old Version of a Chapter 3 Take that was indirectly discontinued because of SwilTaett), I'm now having ideas about how they could appear in the later ACTs of the AU! Which means that they should eventually be given names/personali, and this being the first piece of publicly-revealed information about anything from beyond ACT 4.

If this does happen, I'll definitely try to include references to the other members in this sock-based subsection of the UnderTale/Deltarune Community!

hey um reading the theory posts and i just want to say just in case u missed it that there are actually shadow/dark crystals in chapter one, you get one after defeating jevil

oh! anon did you maybe start Deltarune after the ch2 release? this is actually kinda interesting I think!

there were not shadow crystals in chapter one when it first released as survey program. when chapter 2 came out and the 1+2 version became available, if you imported your save data from ch1, seam comments on the fact you totally got a shadow crystal ("That Crystal... It's invisible, but you've been holding it this whole time."), and it appears in your inventory. additionally, if you beat jevil in the 1+2 demo, he does instantly give you it. however, it was very much a thing added in the gap

seam ships ranking tierlist?

this is a little less of a tierlist and more of an unsorted assortment of the pairs i'm invested in, but;

SEAVIL

gamewise; i admit i will forever be most partial to the shopboss pairs because – in my humble opinion – they really have it ALL. seam watching jevil descend into madness and – rather than being horrified by it – being were so intrigued that even now what jevil had said in those moments of madness lingers deep within them. seam wishing they hadn't locked him up for that madness at all because he gave them more of a "purpose" than anything their fate or their status as "object" could offer them. the ambiguity as to whether they were even friends at all, or if it was solely their positions in the court and the thrill of the "numbers game" that kept them coming back to one another.

headcanonwise; the phrase "mutually unrequited love" made absolutely zero sense to me until i thought too hard about these two. they're both one another's "one that got away" – they both think they should've professed their love before jevil had to be locked up and think of one another almost like fleeting mirages (only worsened by having both seen the state of their being in the light world.)

SEAMSWATCH

what can i say? these two have absurd chemistry every time i do a writing "sketch" where they're the subjects. they're admittedly the relationship that's the most my own invention out of any of these, but i think there's a lot of really fascinating stuff you could do with them. they're both in the same position of having a shadow crystal holder that was close with them – seam is really the only person swatch can talk to about spamton now that they're in castle town. and too; what does seam know about the lightner that created neo through their hands? why are they so mysterious? just what was the crystal in neo? there's an interesting detective & them fatale (get it?) dynamic to be found there and their personalities are both so charged for it that i just can't get enough of them.

SEAMQUEEN

i'm honestly surprised these two didn't take off more after ch2 given mysterious past relationships seem to be the name of the game for deltarune fans. aside from said mysterious shared past though these two are classic character foils – queen believes wholeheartedly in her own mistaken assumptions about the machinations of this world and seam is by contrast so aware of said machinations and said world that they've given up on it near-entirely. just that alone provides a lot of fascinating ways the two can bounce off of one another; especially in snowgrave where the violence of queen's entire world being pulled out from under her becomes apparent to her. seam meanwhile knows that sort of thing is inevitable – one way or another queen's world would be destroyed and one way or another her people would be discarded. in fact, it's happened to them already! why worry? why not come stay with them a while? (and even in a normal route, consider they seem to know about other game files �� would they know of a snowgrave file then? could they look with nothing but their own detatched fascination at an old friend who they far surpass in knowledge now? she seems to have been gone from the kingdom some time before jevil was locked away – or i think so, at least – and so she's no idea of just how much her old friend has changed.)

and on queen's end; i think she and the pandora palace crew are quite close, but i don't doubt she misses the old court crew, especially while she's first finding her footing as the sole ruler of cyber world. there's no way seam wasn't sneaking around with queen back when they were younger; they're the sort i think queen would have a blast just drinking and going back and forth with. she's the kind of person who prioritizes a good time (doesn't everyone?) and so seam – who's always had a layabout streak – is happy to take her side when trying to get the kings to throw grand balls or when she just wants to ditch 'em entirely. all in all very underexplored very classic yuri that deserves to have more than three posts in the tag in my humble (read: extremely biased) opinion.

SEAMKING

this is the one i would not say i "ship" but that i will say i think happened in the time between jevil being locked away and the knight arriving / all the kings being locked away / the remaining court members being fired. spades king spent many a night privately telling seam about his ire towards the kingdom's state of abandonment. seam was seam about it. they probably laughed mysteriously at him about it. he probably hated it. he probably liked it a little more than he'd like to like it. you know how it is.

updated DR predictions, theories, thoughts list cuz th next chapters are bound t come out any day now.

not going into depth about these predictions here. some of them arent quite so literal also. theyre just things that might be worked into the story and stuff

"false prophet" / beast out of the earth Ralsei Ralsei = nameless angel who imprisoned Satan in the Abyss with a great chain in its hand (scarf.) Ralsei is probably Kris' missing red horned headband deconstructing his only understanding of reality, Ralsei WILL have a breakdown huge moment with Ralsei featuring flowers, vines, thorns, the whole shebang

"King of Monsters" Susie / Susiezilla (Godzilla titan species) /related to DR Titans and/or Echidna in some way. Typhon (AKA father of all monsters) somewhere in there Susie beast out of the sea / biblical dragons and serpents / chaoskampf monster "King of Beasts" lion Susie / circus lion

Mayor Holiknight (my personal favorite of the candidates) Vassal / Vessel Knight possibly Dess Knight instead?

the Soul's role is meant to resemble a guardian angel, the Holy Spirit, Sacred Heart of Jesus. in the weird route, the devil that possibly possessed Judas, and possibly the angel that comforts Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane

Weird Route Noelle and Kris have similarities to Jesus Christ and Judas Iscariot, respectively Noelle is the only one who can free Kris from the player (specifically in the Weird Route, possibly in the main route)

Chaos (the literal location) is a layer between the Light World and the Dark World, a locked gate to it lies in Castle Town (probably through the true Dark Fountain. beyond that big door with the heart/soul and wings.)

The Cliffs / Strange Place meant to resemble Tartarus, the biblical Abyss, possibly Sheol

Titans are imprisoned in Chaos. Roaring likely emerges from the Cliffs in the Dark World, and the lake in the Light World

PROPHECY

prophecy is untrustworthy

"Angel Trinity Theory" / The Angel is The Father, Noelle Holiday is The Son, and the Soul is the Holy Spirit, together forming the Angel's trinity. contrasted by the Delta Warriors, an unholy trinity or something like that

closing Dark Fountains + recruiting Darkners = parallel to Book of Revelation, Satan "deceiving nations" and gathering them for the last holy battle

Deltarune experiment end goal = changing the world order, and its people. metamorphoses of the protagonists in particular, delta / change

the prophecy (Legend of Delta Rune, The Roaring) parallel the Greek creation myth, and the bible's Genesis

Deltarune Theory: The Twisted Sword, the Shadow Mantle, and the ending

Okay so this is about the twisted sword, and how it is made with the Pure Crystal and the Thorn Ring

The Shadow Crystals are obtained from the secret bosses, and the text from the currently unobtainable pure crystal implies that Seam is the one to fuse the Shadow crystals together to make the Pure Crystal.

There's also the thorn ring, which you can obtain in the weird route, but you can only keep the ring by aborting the route.

Now I assumed that you couldn't get the keygen after getting the weird route, (but after being informed that you could, I was still like "well most players wouldn't know that and some probably wouldn't think to do that", so let me cook).

In Deltarune Chapter 2, you're able to access multiple save files, rather than the older version of chapter 1 and undertale, you only had one save file.

Now here's my theory... remember how Toby said that there will only be ONE ending, and how people started to theorize that meant that there would be one ending but the context surrounding those events would change?

Well, my theory is that to get to the ending, it will require getting items that are mutually exclusive to different routes, that's why the SAVE box is there, so you can access the Mutually exclusive items, and to maybe get to save routes for backtracking for things you missed, probably with a hint from Seam such as "Oh, I'm afraid without (Insert item here) you'll be fighting a losing battle. If only you could travel back in time, you could have SAVED yourself some trouble" or something along those lines.

That's why there's only ONE ending, where you get all the items and defeat the boss, because it's the only ending that isn't a glorified game over.

Think about it, Undertale and Deltarune are games about video games, and Undertale also played a lot with the concept of saving in it's narrative. So it's not out of the realm of possibility for deltarune to play with the concept of save scumming and messing around with multiple save states in its narrative.

Number two in my series where I make a secret boss for every location in hometown, this is Min-E! A toy that Ice-E’s P”E”Zza used to give away with their kids orders, he came broken in his package and was unable to be sold to the public. He views the player as his playmate, and uses his strange crystal to grow larger than everyone else.

Also, Official sprites of the two made so far! Eventually, I want to show the battle concepts I have for these two since I have good ideas for both of them in my head. Also, the next one is in Berdly’s House, I don’t care about the stupid poll that character is one of my favorites.

Ink ralsei- the story of a ralsei that had their story scraped and a tear of sadness washing away their emotions

Newtales- the au about a strange human falling into a strange underground

Dreamtale 0 -another take on the dreamtale au where it gets a bit more creepy :0

Missing souls- december and Asriel goes to college but they get caught up in strange business

Irrsinntale - after a war between monsters and human about magical crystals, the only remaining ones transforms in skeletons :0

Let dust be a reader - a chill au about the daily life of the bad sanses!!

Project yellow flower- a lot of characters with names and characteristics we know but not quite there, are part of a mysterious project

Summontale - a human goes to the underground to strengthen up the barrier and realizes that the monsters are different from what they were told

Warverse- after all the multiverse collides into one au, they realize that it's a little world for all of them.

Grouptale- what if all the 7 children fell at the same time?

Passing ghost- napstablook has a lot of envy and admiration for sans, who's strong, chill, fights and befriends other's aus... So when they see a portal that sans just went through open, they rush in

SkeleChara- Papyrus revives chara's skeleton and becomes their father figure

Angel's game- the player and Kris make a deal

Fileverse- a drawing of sans comes to life!

Woundtale- a player messes with the code and tries to erase sans, but someone doesn't forget him

Doormaker- based on the theory that sans Undertale and San deltarune are the same person who uses doors as portals!

Human guessing game - the humans have no memories, so your job as a reader is to make the right questions and identify which human has which soul!

Redeemer's path- feeling guilty from using Kris' body, the player goes to their new vessel

Deltasavior- Au of how the next chapter would go!

Uh.. okay was searching for stuff for an AU I was making on Deltarune and came across...

The Snow Queen

"The devil, in the form of a troll,[2] has made a magic mirror that distorts the appearance of everything that it reflects"

Kris has connections to a "Devil" with sealing the Angel's Heaven, and the horn headband, and the distortion matches the Darkworlds

"shattering into billions of pieces. Some become windowpanes, some spectacles, and some get stuck in people's hearts and eyes, giving them a cold and bitter disposition."

The shadow crystals, which become glass in the Light World, and specifically spectacles being something mentioned, Spamton?

"Years later, a little boy Kai (often spelled "Kay" or "Kaj" in translations) and a little girl Gerda live next door to each other"

Kris and Noelle, Kai kind of sounds like Kris, both start with K, and have an I in them

"splinters of the troll's mirror get into Kai's heart and eye. Kai becomes cruel and aggressive."

Both Kris getting possessed by us (More in a Snowgrave timeline though) as well as simply how they seemed to have withdrawn after Dess went missing?

"The roses assure her that Kai is not dead, since they could see all of the dead while they were underground."

Underground, Dark World, the Kris parallel being not dead, when Kris in DR can revive, yeah

" Gerda is captured by robbers. Her life is spared when a little robber girl demands to have Gerda as a playmate."

Noelle gets taken by someone who wants Noelle for a selfish purpose, and isn't very... mature..

"I can give her no greater power than she has already," said the woman; "don't you see how strong that is? How men and animals are obliged to serve her, and how well she has got through the world, barefooted as she is. She cannot receive any power from me greater than she now has, which consists in her own purity and innocence of heart. If she cannot herself obtain access to the Snow Queen, and remove the glass fragments from little Kai, we can do nothing to help her..."

This entire paragraph has very interesting Noelle parallels

"When Gerda reaches the Snow Queen's palace, she is halted by the snowflakes guarding it. She prays the Lord's Prayer, which causes her breath to take the shape of angels"

Religious themes in Deltarune are common. Noelle has Heal Prayer. Noelle is often connected to Deltarune's Angel, just... interesting
