Anyone got a story where Amity Park becomes independent without the rest of the USA noticing until some hero stumbles upon (or crash lands in) it?

hey hi hello
here's your not so friendly reminder that there is NO "correct" way to be trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming, etc. there is no set of rules you need to follow to be the ✨p e r f e c t✨ enby. just because YOU may feel strongly one way about something, doesn't mean every single other gender non-conforming/non-binary/trans person has to feel the exact same. constantly bringing others down for not fitting into your exact, regimented, gender worldview is doing the EXACT opposite of supporting others.
k, stepping off my soapbox now

Lads, ladies and absolutely everything in between, gather round, gather close!
For I must confess my most grievous apologies to the world. How utterly selfish of me, a mere shadow of existence, to dare to draw breath in a society so deeply, so profoundly inconvenienced by the likes of me. You see, being trans? Why, it’s hardly an ordeal at all!
Of course, it does not weigh on me, not in the slightest. It’s not as if my identity is treated like a stain to be scrubbed out or a weed to be plucked from the pristine garden of humanity.
Oh, no, no, no, far be it from me to suggest such a thing.
How terrifying it must be for you, oh brave protectors of the binary! To see me breathing, walking, persisting. An abomination in your orderly little world of pink and blue. I can only imagine the unbearable agony of your fear. You must lie awake at night, staring at your pristine ceilings, haunted by the specter of my pronouns.
I couldn’t possibly comprehend how terribly frightened you all must be of us. Truly, I am sorry to have unsettled you with my mere existence. What a burden it must be to see us, to hear us, to know we walk among you! The audacity! I shudder to think of the terror you feel when we, oh, I don’t know, ask to be called by our names or request not to be killed. Such radical demands, no wonder you’re all quaking in your boots!
Our pain, our suffering, our daily torment? A mere trifle! It’s not as though I wake every morning to find the weight of my identity pressing against my chest. It's not like its a scream buried so deep in my chest that I can feel it scraping my ribs every time I breathe. It’s not like we carry this anguish around like a warm, familiar blanket, clinging to it, wrapping ourselves in it, because at least it stays with us, at least it doesn’t turn away.
But please, tell me more about your suffering. Tell me how hard it is for you to live in a world where people like me exist. Tell me how we threaten your values, your traditions, your fragile sense of reality. Tell me how inconvenient it is to acknowledge that we are human, that we are here, that we are not going anywhere.
Let me assure you, with all the venom we can muster, we will not stop fighting and we will not stop living, no matter how much it offends you.
Because heres the thing: your fear, your hatred, your desperate, grasping need to erase us? It is nothing. It is hollow. It is the pathetic whimper of a world that knows it is dying.
And I, for one, plan to dance on its grave.

is there a term for folks who use xenogenders exclusively in a serious way? i'm having trouble with my identity being taken seriously in the community since im usually told by other xenogender people that gender identity is fake and that really hurts my feelings since my genders are all real and not in any way made up or for fun. i don't mind people using them for fun but i don't appreciate being excluded/not taken seriously, especially when my genders mean a lot to me-
We don't know of a term for this, but you're absolutely not alone. We love MOGAI but have many issues with it, and one of the biggest is a tendency we've noticed for people to treat xenogenders, neogenders, and other microlabels as though they're only ever accessories to more well-known identities. It's something very personal to us, as in our own experiences, occunous is very core to our gender, far more than binary-related terms
If you do end up coining or requesting term for it, let us know! Other than a term for it, some way you could address this is through doing things like talking more about your experiences, making positivity posts, making art about it, advocate if you can. Play around with things like presentation in a way disconnected from the binary; make an outfit in which you don't think about masculinity or femininity, but instead think about what expresses your xenogenders. If you can't think of anything or want a starting point, we'd be happy to help; thinking about xenogender and outherine presentations is a particular interest of ours
Best way to change community perceptions and ideas is to talk about your own. Would bet money that there are people who feel the same as you but don't know that they're allowed to experience that, who'd feel empowered by seeing posts about how they're not alone in it

Pride Month Patch Tutorial: Pronoun Text
This year I’ve created five cross-stitch patterns designed for use with a variety of LGBTQIA+ pride flags, including the trans, genderqueer, non-binary, agender and demigender flags.
Each pronoun pattern is available in three scale variants: he/him, she/her, they/them, it/its and ze/hir. With the use of my cross-stitch alphabets, however, they can be adapted and modified for any pronoun set expressible in the Roman alphabet possessing a three, four, five, six, seven, ten or twelve-striped flag.
This tutorial includes sixteen cross-stitch text charts/patterns plus a guide to adapting said patterns for other pronoun sets.
I have more free queer cross-stitch tutorials and patterns available, including "pride" text patches, flag stripe hearts and "queer" text patches designed for a-spec pride flags. Other LGBTQIA+ text patterns are available at my pattern gallery, for folks who want to go all out in declaring our existence.

i will be honest. if you water down the whole concept of the terms TMA vs TME as 'penis havers vs vagina havers' all it shows is that you fundamentally misunderstand each of these terms.

lowkey embarrassed to admit this but as a south asian kid, i used to think the us was the epitome of greatness. like, nothing could touch america, right?
but as i grew older, i realized comparing is a waste of time. And recently also realised it's all just a facade. The systemic racism, the homophobia, the transphobia... it's all getting worse.
BUT to all the young folks in the us, don't lose hope!! you are the change-makers, the revolutionaries, the ones who can flip the script. keep fighting, keep organizing, and keep shining your light. a better future is possible, and it starts with YOU"
