hi all, my name is alexis (i go by lex or lexie) and its been about...11? years since i first came onto tumblr? maybe longer, i can not remember when I actually created this ahaha

im 27 now (97, gemini, etc) and i definitely have no been as active as i used to be back from 2017-2020 id probably say.

i stan exo and nct dream mostly now, but also stan bts and got7. though, my kpop playlist is definitely a wild mix!

my biggest thing was making moodboards / aesthetics back in the day while i dabbled in writing, but not heavily! i definitely want to get back into! i will most likely be spam posting any moodboards i posted on twitter but not over here for the next little bit, but also writing my currrent fic and potenially one more!

Primarily though, I will be writing for EXO (Chanbaek) and NCT Dream (Nomin)! I might dabble or bring in members to fics, but those are my main two!

While I will be including Jongdae in fics, I will not be adding him to any sort of ship or anything of that matter! Im sure we all can respect why!

I also do include Luhan and Tao in fics and sometimes moodboards as well! Hopefully that is okay!

currently remembering when i was too lazy to do an assignment so i wrote a ninjago bruiseshipping fanfic instead and never actually did the work so I never turned it in. only for my english teacher to still grade it regardless AND SHE READ MY FUCKING CRINGE ASS FANFIC.

i kid you not the first question in the assignment read the opening line: “Jay had always known he into men.” NJSJSJDDHJFJFNDNDNFNFN 😭😭😭

keep in mind my teacher was a straight white patriot woman in her 60s. my friends are never gonna let me live this one down.

Lacoste is ready to further tap into its Chinese market potential with the appointment of Chinese actor Wang Yibo as a global ambassador.

Wang, who started his career as a member of the K-pop boy band Uniq, has gone on to become one of China‘s most marketable male stars with more than 40 million followers on Weibo.

“Besides his acute taste for fashion, he is always daring to step out of his comfort zone, which coincides with the brand’s spirit of celebrating boldness,” Lacoste said of the appointment.

After the announcement, the hashtag “Wang Yibo named Lacoste global ambassador” received more than 600 million views on Weibo, the Chinese social media platform.

Wang made his first appearance as the face of the brand during Lacoste’s fall 2024 runway show in Paris, where Pelagia Kolotouros took her bow for the first time as the creative director of the brand.

As a testament to Wang’s star power, a pair of black-and-white chunky sneakers that Wang wore to the show quickly sold out on Lacoste’s Tmall store.

The Chinese actor will next appear in a Lacoste advertising campaign set to be unveiled in May.

It's award nomination season again - and all three books in the Harlow Mystery series are eligible for the 2024 Indie Ink Awards!

Last year, I was honoured to have multiple nominations in the 2023 Indie Ink Awards for my first two books in the Harlow Mystery series, "Winner Takes All" and "Engagement To Die For."

With "Bloody Fantasia" published this year, I would be happy if it also has a chance to be nominated as well!

Nomin Tal Kheeriin

At ten Nomin was tied to a tree,

Then left there to work herself free,

But she harboured ambition,

That outweighed tradition,

Unexpectedly there appears yet more poetical nonsense! The second Lalafellin Limerick of 2024 is a celebration of the heroic and well-travelled Nomin Tal Kheeriin of @paintedscales.

Believe it or not this is the second time I have written poetry about Nomin, as I was lucky enough to be allocated @paintedscales for the first FFXIVswap event. I really enjoyed researching her backstory (as referenced in the silly limerick above), which is one of the most creative and intriguing that I've ever had the pleasure to read.

With excellent and evocative writing, beautiful gposes and even animations, this is definitely one of the most inspiring FFXIV blogs on Tumblr. I definitely recommend you give @paintedscales a follow if you haven't already done so!
