Cardamander Tests Rechargeable Battery with Wireless Charging in Tamagotchi Connection
Tumblr media
We always say that the Tamagotchi community is incredible, and we mean it! Don’t love having to put CR2032 batteries in your Tamagotchi and change them every few months? Cardamander on Reddit is testing out a rechargeable 100 mAH lithium-ion battery inside of a Tamagotchi Connection 20th Anniversary along with a TP4057 charging board which has resistors swapped out that controls the charge voltage to the appropriate size of this small battery. Lastly there is a 5V wireless module to allow for wireless charging!
Tumblr media
How incredible is that? Cardamander notes that the 100 mAh battery would actually have less battery life than the CR2032 battery, but the advantage wold be the ability to recharge the battery instead of purchasing and disposing of CR2032 batteries.

My phone isn't charging properly and I'm not sure if it's an issue with the cord or the plug or the actual charging port (Leon knocked my phone into the laundry sink while I was bathing him recently so... it could have gotten damaged) so I asked my brother if I could borrow his wireless charger until I can figure out the problem
He did lend it to me, but he hasn't been using it recently, so it's not charged
And it won't charge my phone until the charger itself is fully charged
I have to wait for the charger to charge so I can charge my phone
I am so sick of technology

Does Pico ever become more tech-savvy with some modern tech or is that still a work-in-progress?
Ehhh, he's getting there. He has an iPhone 8, so he's gonna be pissed whenever he updates to anything newer. He's a bit slower with computers and games, but he just needs some time to get the hang of it. Before you know it he'll be like that grandpa gamer on YouTube sniping heads off on Battlefield games like a veteran lol

Good News From Israel
Israel's Good News Newsletter to 17th Dec 23
In the 17th Dec 23 edition of Israel’s good news, the highlights include:
Two emotional family reunions during the war.
Two breakthroughs that help us understand how our brains work.
The world’s first approved laser cure for glaucoma.
Two typical examples of the IDF showing compassion, even in war.
Israelis are making the world’s most powerful telescope and miniature cameras.
Two private initiatives to regenerate Gaza border agricultural communities.
A national Torah scroll is being written to immortalize victims of Oct 7.
Tumblr media
So many positive news articles last week focused on regenerating life for individuals, communities and in other areas. Medical regeneration involved rehabilitating wounded IDF personnel; reuniting separated families; two Israeli therapies for regenerating the lives of traumatized children, and another that generates companionship for the elderly. Israelis are able to generate thousands of clinical trial simulations, regenerate eye functionality in glaucoma patients, and can show how dormant bacteria regenerates. An Israeli female Israeli professor is responsible for generating three startups including one that regenerates spinal cords. And an Israeli IDF reservist donated her bone marrow to regenerate a patient's immune system. Read about the The volunteers and organizations that have been regenerating neglected farms in Israel's south; and the food rescue startup that has been regenerated after shutdown during the Covid pandemic.  Israel is 3rd in the world for Generative AI startups (see newsletter for details) and one startup even generates responses to hate speech.  Other Israeli startups regenerate machinery at risk of breaking down and recharge electric buses wirelessly. Many startups have relocated to safer areas in Israel and begun regenerating their businesses with increased productivity.  Finally, a combined religious and secular project to write Torah scrolls is regenerating the spiritual unity of the Jewish State. The photo is of Hanukkah celebrations in Herzliya, which regenerated a much needed happy diversion among children and adults alike.

I prefer charging with wires
Like if the wires get damaged you can just wiggle wiggle them around
In wireless charging what will you do?
Bend the air around it?
Become an airbender?
That's rare

I got a new pair of headphones today (the ones i bought when i was 13 just don't fit anymore...) and they're really comfy and all but the best part i didn't even notice until i took them out of the packaging.... They have an aux cord option!! They had an aux cord included. They've got bluetooth but! It's an option! I am so happy about this
