So my little sister just started watching Supernatural because her boyfriend loves it. Now, if there's one thing she hates is getting spoiled (she still brings up that I spoiled Dumbledore's death for her in 2005 because she found me crying while reading the book).

Anyway, all of this to say that back during the infamous month of November 2020 I was distraught, delusional and going through it because of the last three episodes of Supernatural. And we had conversations, which basically means that I ranted at her about it, I went into "this should be a podcast" explanations, I went into to the history and the plot and the meanings. She basically got the delulu destiel fangirl experience.

And again she hates spoilers, so fearing for my life I asked her if she was enjoying the show (she's on season 2 atm) and whether she remembers our conversations.

I told her something along the lines of: "I was incredibly mad, and you had to deal with me so I'm sure you pretty much know how the show ends"

She shrugged and said: "I remember you saying something about supernatural but I mostly remember you being super upset about some other show where some characters turned out to be gay after 10 years or something"

She hates spoilers, so I just nodded and went along with it. That other show that sent the gay angel to super hell of course how could I ever forget.

SPOILERS FOR MIZU5

Just read the entire story and aaaaajdjd😭😭

It genuinely made me stare at the ceiling for a solid 5 minutes and tear up (mainly because i love mizuki and somewhat relate to her)

All the memories with ena flashing before her eyes as she just stands there utterly terrified broke me the most. Ms hina (mizus va) and even and ms suzuki (enas va) really killed it with this one. Mizukis last words and the entire last chapter hit so SO HARD it was absolutely amazing‼️

Her room from secret distance which was once filled with everything she loves (and also was pink/feminine) now being dark and gloomy with a shattered mirror and broken mannequins is just heartbreaking tbh

Her dress also looks like its been torn and clawed at?? Im guessing the blindfold symbolises her feelings of not wanting ena (or the rest of the nightcord too) to actually see her like this + further more her fear of being shown kindness out of pity? (Im not really sure about how to word this) especially by ena

This is also the first time its been officially confirmed that she is infact trans (it was only HEAVILY implied but now its explicitly stated) i was sort of afraid they were going to backtrack but im glad they didnt do that

This event basically lived up to all the expectations but at what cost😭

Bake no hana (ghost flower in eng) fucking slaps‼️‼️ ive legit been listening to it non stop since release and there were a few details i noticed (⁠+⁠_⁠+⁠)

1. The total notes are 1003 on master with 1 being mizuki and 3 being the rest of the girls, showing the distance she places between them

2. Mizukis does not sing with the rest of the group and her vocals only ever overlap with kaitos

3. I havent properly searched up the translation yet but the lyrics seem all from mizukis pov (also the music video i think? With the blinking and all)

4. Even in the mv itself, mizuki is not present with the rest of the nightcord and only appears in frames with kaito

Her voicelines after the event are just depressing, she sounds so tired and sorta nihilistic (kinda like mafuyu in the main story) and shes also temporarily gone from the real world

Ena5 will most probably be in November and have mizuki as a 4* for the first time in an ena focus

Also something else i noticed in particular was

I guess this is foreshadowing for the next song in ena5 ? It seems so

All in all, these were my thoughts for the event (for now) kinda ended up writing an essay but yeah lol

FF7 REBIRTH SPOILERS ft A THEORY OF MINE

"Emptiness"

I may be reading too deep into this but bear with me. Sephiroth doing his damned best to reinforce that Cloud is nothing, that everything he feels his fake, that he's a puppet pulled along by Sephiroth's strings with no real purpose of his own. "Your tears are empty" is a line that really stands out to me, because Sephiroth insinuates that Cloud isn't a person and has no true substance as an individual. He's a shell.

Then much later, in the dream-esque Sleeping Forest, Aerith wants to spend one of their final moments focusing on Cloud, focusing on "finding the real [him]". Then Cloud hands Holy to Aerith, and she gifts him the clear materia in return, presumably having taken up Holy before she leaves. Aerith theorised earlier in the game that Holy was probably powered by her memories and dreams, and having lost them to the Whispers, to fate, has rendered the materia useless.

Basically, Cloud aptly describes not-Holy with, "It looks empty".

An empty man holding onto an empty materia.

I don't know, man. The thing about being given an empty thing after being told and tortured with the idea that you yourself are an empty thing is getting to me.

Part 3 is most likely going to deal with the fallout of Cloud's broken psyche and piecing him back together to "find the real [him]". I'm theorising not-Holy is only restored once Cloud has finally figured out who he is and what he wants to do.

Because materia isn't just the crystallisation of mako and the Lifestream. It's the physical representation of hopes and dreams and desires. The Black Materia was created to deliver the Gi from their unending existence. The White Materia ensures the prayers of the planet are answered.

And now not-Holy belongs to Cloud, so that whatever he finds in himself will fuel not-Holy and provide it with new purpose, maybe even allow him to finally heal after over two decades of suffering, because as Aerith said, "it's about saving the world — and you"

Seeing Bobby as a kid broke me… like look at this sweet boy!

He had to endure so much pain and trauma, he lost his father, the man he looked up to most, twice. All I wanted every time he was on screen was to hold him and protect him!

This same little kid is still lives in the man Bobby is today, the boy who just wanted to help his dad, but couldn’t. In every person he saves he’s wishing that he saved his father.

I was gonna watch this episode again, but I don't think I can, not yet at least because seeing what Bobby went through as a kid makes me so sad. I simply can't handle seeing him waking up in the morning and finding his dad dead on the living room floor. Seeing Bobby desperately trying to wake up his father to no avail.

I can't handle seeing him being driven to taking his first drink at such a young age because the pain of this loss was too much. All that his father taught him (apart from a good work ethic maybe) was that drinking takes away the pain, so that's what he did.
