I like to hc that Emmrich is fluent in elven. He learned it years ago and it's been very helpful in speaking with the dead. And my Rook will randomly forget to speak in the common language when talking to him. He just makes them comfortable and they revert back to what they're used to. But he doesn't miss a beat and just switches languages while talking to them. And he sounds hot doing it so sometimes they do it on purpose.

emmrich likes to tie rook up, or rather, down on his anatomy table — of course after thoughtful, considerate and deliberate sanitation. her body will undoubtedly welt, rubbed raw from twisted twine, wrists knotted with the coil of a python. her ankles connected at the bottom corners, open for his dissection.
